For what it's worth... Even though this is from another site, I kept reading bits and pieces that supported "rumors" I've read here. Just thought some would enjoy the entertainment value as we wait... Tony says that this info is true and Dan agrees for first time - Other sites announced last night says that RV was done – We searched for confirmation – I got a call back – Our guys in Iraq said he was going to the Mosque to hear the special announcement they were asked to come hear – it was announced about the revalue but no rate was given, lower denoms were shown – there are still higher notes in play bur no LOP on the lower single notes – they were told that in a formal announcement yesterday in all the mosques will be in the coming days – the RV is here as they showed citizens the lower denoms and explained the dinar and again it was formally announced to the citizens this will be done in the coming days so said Shabibi to them by the 28th – ALSO – we heard rumors that Allawi is in England in hospital - YES he was in England delivering the docs to the IMF about the RV being finalized and docs had to be signed by IMF so Allawi was delivering those documents to IMF to be signed so it went right along with what everyone was saying that this RV is done Today more calls came in from over there that they saw it in Iraq being announced today- the best info he got is this: A caller came on from Texas who has first hand family member information – the Bank they work in has been having meetings the last two weeks on the dinar to get ready.. Yesterday Friday they announced they have added security to banks to help with cash-in for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week… and that phone call came in from a family member that all employees have to be available for cash-in of Iraq dinar on those days - before now all they have doing in these banks talk and prepare and now they were told be a work Tues Wed for Cash out Tony stated I was told Thursday and Friday that cashing will be Tuesday.. and person in Iraq also confirmed that he went into the mosque and heard it with his own hears - Also their guy in Rome was there and personally heard Shabibi said yesterday in Rome he did say by the 28th and today people have confirmed this bank and its in texas that they are ready and they told all their employees to be there Tuesday. We have been getting this from good sources folks– this is going down. Dan says that he spoke to a high up in the NYC banking arena – it does not make sense that the monetary system would let everyone know the weeks, day or hours in advance of a currency increase of 4000+ times more this early – we do not see anyone changing their prices does it make sense they say they will do it on a certain date at a certain rate? These bankers say that is not the norm …why is there not a flood in the market for this if all this was fact says Dan. Tony : The reason they are announcing this in newspaper and Shabibi going from country to country publically selling his country is they need people to believe in their country- this cannot be compared to something that has happened before – revalued currency is not the same this time – we the USA brought an 18th century country to the 21st century its about changing a whole country and mindset at the same time not just their money - they need to look GOOD in the worlds eyes – so Shabibi and Maliki has announced they will do this.. . they have take months then to use up the higher denoms they are short on currency now not sure how they are even still going- so its easy for them too stand up and say this is what we are going to do and put out the new denoms and revalue the currency.. they have to do it and desire their country to look good to the world. Tony says that they are waiting for it – they are saying they are going to have the strongest currency, even the contractors there are saying that the Iraq citizens are saying their currency will be stronger than the dollar… Dan says do NOT quit your jobs as you need to wait to see this RV before you change your life even though they are saying its done – we should be excited and involved in this investment but you should be waiting to see this come to pass to make major changes… Shabibi could be trying to increase the Iraq dollar in the eyes of the people and Dan feels that it’s a promo and he is not sure we will even have an RV on the 28th…I have to keep my excitement even if this does not happen yet we are getting closer he feels … There is more news that this is done and getting to the end of this….still Dan says he has to look at both sides and he personally will not be over excited about the Tuesday the 28th Tony: This is the BEST it has ever EVER looked – banks have been told for 2 weeks today, today, and again today an RV, and then last week the branch managers were having meetings in certain banks and today it’s at the teller level as managers have put them on notice not to NOT MISS WORK next week be here Tuesday – so the next people on the list is all of us, we are left to get the info and we are expecting any day now in the next few days. They knew it on the first it would be on the 28th and on the 20th it was said it would be done in 7-10 days – we are closer than we ever been but it’s not in your bank account yet so be calm until then Tony: News articles are being read in countries now about Iraq is re-denominating and revaluing their currency – this is unique, its not just a country revaluing their money – its always a big deal to that certain country but it didn’t make worldwide news - every person walking the street does not hear this daily – we are just involved in this profess that’s why we are hearing all we hear – this is not Kuwait and do not compare bringing WHOLE COUNTRY BACK TO LIFE as its has never been done this way Tony: says that the next country has already been picked – they were told that on Thursday and Friday a new currency is already being printed for this country…and they have not even taken it over yet….it will be different also than what’s happening now – we can’t expect the same thing again and again and again and they are changing the rules so no one can go out and buy millions of currency of that currency – it will be different this is JUST IRAQ’s, its not Kuwait or Germany and we can’t compare it – its different as it’s a rebirth of a country... Tony: We are not in a bad spot even if this happens July 1st …. And the rate numbers have changed and they are making adjustments and the numbers will be higher and the GBP has never been this low and the $$ is down and so things are still happening – remember this, the first mouse gets the trap and the 2nd mouse gets the cheese - sit back and do not be the first at the bank and wait see what is going to happen with rates, etc.

After tithing, charities and paying off the house and other bills, I plan on setting up a trust for my children's future, building the home of our dreams, ( with solar panels and overlooking a lake) in which to create fabulous memories, and then set up family fun times. For us that will include season tickets to Alabama games as well as a Disney Vacation Club membership, so we can always go on family trips together.

Saw a rumor on another site that states IMF has approved a loan for Greece for 48 hours stating they wouldn't need it after that. Still trying to find legitimate link before I post with a title in forums. Definitely one of those things that make you go Hmmmm.

Now that might calm things down a bit! I agree that most of us more seriously curious investors are ready here! Others can still read and learn.

I was wondering the same thing! Don't get me wrong, everyone here had to start off as a newbie at sometime and I myself lurked and read for several months before registering, so this isn't really against all newbies. But when I first joined I felt welcomed by everyone and for the most part tried my due diligence to read as much as I could, including Adam's books and look for forum posts that would answer my questions before I asked them. I have also referred friends here for them to find out more for themselves. I can honestly say I have never sent them anywhere else, because I didn't feel I could speak to the other sites' integrity. I don't regularly do Facebook, but to me this site has been like the Facebook of the dinar world, and the friends I met through chat were sometimes like the current newsfeed. I haven't been to the chatroom for awhile, because my iPhone isn't configured to Java, but when I break out the old laptop I like to see what's going on in there. It didn't take long to figure out who the major contributors were, and who were the "drama-queens." It is sad to think this site has been attacked, but I really agree with your thoughts that some of the newer posters had a little more inside knowledge then your average newbie. I am hoping that the drama with members will soon subside and give way to post-RV drama! Now that will be something to talk with our real (cyber) friends about! I am hoping to meet several of you at the roast HeavyDuty has planned for his brother, he who shall not be named, but whose name starts with S. I agree and thank you for starting this post! I am very saddened by how Scooter has been treated. For the most part, I feel lime I have made many friends here at DV, and would love for the "riff-raff" posters who want to be negative and downright ugly to just go away!

Hey Bamagirl! Roll Tide! I'm in Ttown too! I was planning on shopping the rate with Wells Fargo as well, ( depending on any other options available through VIP) but even before I joined VIP, I asked my bank (Bank of Tuscaloosa) about their currency exchange policy, and was directed to a currency exchange branch in Birmingham. I inquired specifically about IQD, and was told they would be exchanging IQD. Hope this helps, you are welcome to email me any time! I would love to hear what Wells Fargo has to say! Good Luck! Thank you for posting, PVS! I listened to and enjoyed this radio broadcast, but wasn't sure how to bring it here to share with others. I especially enjoyed hearing the excitement in Scooter's voice!

It appears that you have joined DV after a time ( I can't remember when it was posted, but it was last year) when Scooter's brother, HeavyDuty began a post for us to sign up to be notified,post RV of course, about the details and location for a "Scooter roast." I, for one, am looking forward to having the opportunity to thank him in person for all he has contributed to those of us who have really enjoyed following his posts! Perhaps we can re-run the thread to give "newer" bees a chance to join in on the fun! I'll try to find the thread to link.
