What I believe is this and logic supports me as well!! Iraq was devalued in 1990's at gulf war time as they invaded kuwait and gave room for terror activities. Now, it went down directly to 0.00008 and did'nt LOP or have an alternate way down. When it does come back, it has to come by the way it went down, it simply cannot go different way and make a U-Turn and ride above the Hill and eat a pizza somewhere and get to the destination. The world economics does'nt work that way. I hope you get the logic now duh!! The difference between Kuwait and Iraq is Kuwait was a victim and iraq was the dictator. So iraq needed to be punished and they did to saddam who ruled at that time. They appraised Kuwait cos they had no fault. Now that iraq is outta it, why punish them forever by LOPPING it?? No Point right. It has to RV, as RV is imminent. Michel!

And they don't have a stable currency.. How embarrassing can it get for iraq.. Arab summit hoster does not have a tradeable currency, shame!! Michel!

I think RV maybe delayed for a while since the auctions have taken place. The budget is already taken place today, but no news on it yet. Anyways, all we know is that the RV is imminent. Michel!!

The logic behind his response was that the dinar would remain unaffected i.e. they get their purchasing power back. People outside iraq will get the rate what iraq has offered to us. as simple as that he told me. Michel!

I just spoke again to my two iraqi sources and they just confirmed that the Kurdish leaders have submitted their updated budget which they seemed to have felt erroneous some days back. They have submitted their final budget report to the central cabinet and after recalculating everything, there will be a consolidated budget report that is going to be released on January 10th or 11th as per the plan. Everything related to the monetary exchange and International rate has been updated in that. So, when it does come out, it's worth a watch he said. But he's quite confident that although iraq mite have an internal shift of currency from large to low denoms, the foreign countries have a separate rate altogether which they can exchange out of iraq. So, there will be 2 things. One inside iraq and one out of iraq, that's what made them a bit late as well to strategize as that's what is going rounds in the iraqi media as well. So, all this information is a good upbeat for a status change in our currency soon.. Hoping for it!! Michel!! :)

They say it's a strategic economic thing and I asked both of them on 30th and 31st of December respectively and both of them told me the exact same thing that the decision of the iraqi dinars is under serious review now. Also he mentioned that their priority was this now and the budget will disclose some of the features of the monetary features and exchange rate. I felt to post it here cos both of them said the exact same thing to me. So, this could be very real that their local newspapers mite be posting these stuffs. Michel!!

I talk to two of my sources on a regular basis. They are on my skype list and yes they are from iraq. They came in contact to me an year ago when I entered the iraqi dinar investment and since then taking their advise on a monthly basis as to how the situation is abt this investment. They have been telling me that their economy needs time up until 4 months back but last month when I asked them abt the dinar. They told me suddenly that a decision is under a review about the iraqi dinar with the new government and they are now looking to take a decision on the currency pretty soon. They're also saying that past few days there has been drastic changes in the construction, railway development, road ways many other things. Although he thinks that the rate maybe 1:1 for an exchange and on par with the USD, the rate going to 1:3 in favor of USD seems slim, but nothing can be said as the decision is impending with the government he feels.
