Viper 51 Thank you and Arinai for your updates they are refreshing and always something new. I just have one question and I am not being an A$$ but where exactly does this man live? You see I ask this question because I spend a good bit of time traveling back and forth to different FOB’s and locations in Iraq for my employer. Most of my travels are by convoy, sometimes I fly, 90% of my travel is at night. I cannot help but notice all the lights on, now just like you I hear how the infrastructure of this country is so poor and out dated. However, brother I get nervous if we are haulin A$$ do a back road and don’t see any lights on. Another thing that I have observed in my travels large groups will gather at different locations at night and watch a Television the is set outside on a table in front of a store, restaurant or some type of shop. I now see women and children out walking at night and socializing this was something unheard of and unseen a year ago. I am not trying to down you or your friend but he must be in the absolute sticks if he has no electricity. I will say this things do appear to be getting better.
