Shooting Stars

The astronomer is a very well schooled individual who steeped in sound rational logic and could quite possibly rattle a myriad of theorems, postulates, or hypothesis at will. The astronaut, while not as educated as the astronomer, knows enough about the stars but has more of a drive to them. This uncanny bravado, this intrepid nature, compels the astronaut to push their limits. While the astronomer sits and studies in the comfort of their observatory and says, "I think...". It is the astronaut whose crazy enough to strap a rocket the their backside and shoot towards the heavens and say, "I know".

My father once told me, "Son, shoot for the moon. If you miss, you'll still land amongst the stars."
