  1. A fellow DV mate of mine found this on the CBI or ISX Arabic side about Warka Bank (2-Nov-2023) but we don’t know what it says - unable to get Translate to work on original PDF so took screenshots on the ole iPad and attached here. Any Arabic speakers out there who could provide a summary? Many thanks in advance 🙏 Cheers DinarHillBilly 20231115 - ISX.NET - EndOfProcsWarkaBank.pdf
  2. Good to know you’re still “alive and kicking”!! Cheers, DHB

  4. Sure, at current internal exchange rates, however, it is highly unlikely that the IMF, EMF, World Bank etc will allow $600Bn to become IQD700Tn and then (for easy math without any lopping) at a 1:1 RV becomes $700Tn ... so I’d only expect a transfer of these frozen funds back to Iraq after normality has been restored, including whatever happens to the IQD exchange rate, to maintain parity in purchasing power of those funds. The $600Bn, if transferred to the CBI, I assume would most likely be used to support the national reserves, which will be a good thing any way you look at it. Just my own, humble, opinion ... DHB
  5. From this parallel topic: This reply was given ... "captjohnk Senior Member Platinum VIP Posted August 25 after listening to Bob Adams on the Breitling site he said that he has had communication with an official from Warka and states that there will be No communication with ANYONE outside of country until after the first of next year and they are redoing all their software and that all funds are safe and guaranteed so don't worry. He (Bob) has complete confidence with this conversation and I have confidence with Breitling so that's where it stands now. " No idea as to the truth in this. However, as my Account access has now expired, I can no longer check balances. I was able to confirm addition of annual interest to my balance late May. PS: I have emailed with the requisite 15000 Dinar fee for access again today ... so IF i receive response or suddenly gain access again, etc., I'll let the forum know, though not holding out much hope... Regards, DHB
  6. Same thing happened to me and a friend of mine. Though WB only 'sold' those shares trading on the ISX and deposited the proceeds into my WB Account, so any that weren't trading, including WB shares themselves were NOT sold. I believe that WB were told to stop the Proxy shares process, however they failed to honour the 'transfer to own names' process for which I had an account at the ISX in my own name set up back in 2012/3 or so, but no share holdings as none were transferred by WB.

  8. FF-32 didn't work for me on Win10, however FF-29 did. Today I was able to access my online IBS account through FF-29 and export account balances and Internet Statements in both PDF and CSV formats. Access To my online IBS account is also possible through iPad IOS and Safari browser too, including downloading same files to Files for accessing on the iPad. Cheers, DHB
