The above is not correct If you have a rate of 1166 IQD per $ then the rate in cents is about 0.00085 cents So if the article reads 120 IQD per $ then the rate is 0.0083 cents per IQD. What the article is trying to say is the IQD has moved up one decimal point All you have to do is divide 10000IQD by 120 this will give you how many $ at that rate you will receive for a 10000iqd note. ($83.3) Then just divide the amount of $s (83.3) by 10000 to get the rate of exchange (0.0083 cents per IQD)

I make that 0.0083 cents per IQD 10000 IQD note divided by 120 IQD = 83.33 83.3 divided by 10000IQD = 0.00833 cents per 1IQD

Ok I personally believe there are still 2 sanctions under chapter 7 for Iraq. Arms embargo & frozen assists I read their was 27 Sanctions under chapter 7…what they are I cant tell you but the ones we are more familiar with are the Kuwait war & humanitarian issues, missing property & so on. If you read the news correctly from the UN & so on the 2 issues I mention (Arms & Assets) still seem to be under chapter 7. The thing is you read so many different articles & then so many different opinions eventually the whole thing reads how you want it to. As for the arms embargo & the frozen assets they remain under chapter 7 sanctions. That’s the reason why there was no big party in Iraq, no headline news on CNN or Fox. Its not exactly what Iraq wanted but it was enough to keep the donkey moving in the right direction

Now that is good news BUT the hardest part is to get the vote in parliament…..having said that the hardest part of parliament is trying to get enough of the overpaid idiots to attend parliament to vote on it. Nice post but again I only foresee more delays, no lower denominations as yet, currency auctions still running & amount for sale increasing, HCL still needs to be done (Voted on then) & if I am not mistaken the release of chapter 7 didn’t go as well as Iraq had planned it to. Hence the not so big party in Baghdad

Not good i had this feeling once Iraq had gained its power back it would start to flex its muscles....To be honest things like this could stop the release of chapter 7...sad really as they are so close but use stupid articles like this to ruin so much hard work
