  1. The reason for the 2nd Amendment is not for deer hunting- it's so we can protect ourselves from our own government. If you don't believe me, just read what the founding fathers said. They understood human nature and the depths that it could reach and wanted to do what they could to make sure tyranny wouldn't reign here. It's amazing that they risked their lives to fight a Revolutionary war for freedom from tyranny over a 2% tax, and we meekly accept 20 to 30 times that amount in taxation, between the Federal, state and local governments. I'm independent, and mad at the Republicans for not standing up strongly enough against the ridiculous and immoral spending of the Democrats. Imagine coming to power by promising to give out more money than your opponents- that's nothing but a bribe before the fact- and if you had tried it 200 years ago, it might have got you hanged- but today, it's just politics as usual - but it's also why a welfare or socialist state always fails. People keep voting themselves more and more of the treasury until we all go bankrupt- which we obviously are already- being some 16 trillion dollars in debt. And besides all the personal attacks on our freedoms, it wouldn't surprise me at all, if the megalomaniac in the White House has been stopping the RV until he can figure out how he can get credit for it. He has brought grandstanding and deception to new heights, even for politicians.
  2. but there is a difference between what the normal "guru" implies or predicts and saying that God told me that the dinar would revalue on XX-XX-XX at a rate of X.XX. If the dinar does not revalue then at that rate, I think we have a right, even an obligation to point out that this man was mistaken when he thought he was being led by God. God cannot make a mistake and is never wrong. I thought it odd that he seemed to present several dates or possibilities but held my tongue to see if in fact there was something to it. After all, the test of a prophet is to see whether all his predictions come true. And whether he calls himself a prophet or not, when you say that God told me XYZ, you are putting yourself in a position to speak for God- so you better be right. This thread is a good example of why. Skeptics use this to try to bolster their unbelief, as if God were a fairy tail. Atheism make no logical sense and is provably wrong, but false prophecies like this make them feel like they are all right- just because some believers are wrong in their predictions.
  3. I didn't say that George was a bad man. I think there are many people who are believers who are trying to do good- but if he said that God told him something and it doesn't come to pass, what other conclusion can be made? Ironically, God can even use human mistakes - of which you can be thankful for- that Robinson got you and some others involved in the IQD, presuming the dinar RVs at some point- but God is very jealous concerning his name and his reputation- and if you read Deuteronomy 18, He showed how serious He was. I don't know George, but I follow God, not man and I presume that you do also. May God bless you and all those who put their trust in Him.
  4. Actually, God did. In the Old Testament, he gave the time of Christ's death (Daniel Chapter 9:24-27 says that after 483 years- 69 periods of sevens- the Messiah will be cut off (killed) so it goes without saying that He had to be born a few years before that. And He did tell Mary and Joseph, and Zechariah and Elizabeth beforehand. He told the Shepherds the day of the Messiah's birth- and the Wise men probably afterwards. He had already told everyone the place- Bethlehem, where Christ was to be born. Micah 5:2/ Matthew 2:5
  5. How do you read this passage this way? What God said would take place - did take place. evil befell Ahab. His legacy was wiped out, his sons were cut off and his wife was destroyed and eaten by dogs as God said. All those things occurred, and it also occurred after his death because God was pleased was pleased with Ahab's repentance and stated that the punishment would take place in the days of his son. God hadn't committed Himself to the timing of the prophecy until verse 29. 21 He says, ‘I am going to bring disaster on you. I will wipe out your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel—slave or free. 22 I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and that of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have aroused my anger and have caused Israel to sin.’ 23 “And also concerning Jezebel the LORD says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’ 24 “Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country.” 25 (There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the LORD, urged on by Jezebel his wife. 26 He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the LORD drove out before Israel.) 27 When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went around meekly. 28 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite: 29 “Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”
  6. Ron Paul says some good things but I'm not a big Ron Paul fan- Nevertheless, we have to do something to get this country back on track. The irony is that if we RV, guess who will try to take credit?
  7. I think George Robinson may be well meaning but people including George should be very careful and fearful about presuming to speak for God. Sometimes people get carried away with what they think or believe and presume that God backs up their viewpoint. God is proven btw. Just because you don't believe it, does not mean that it isn't proven. "The fool has said in his heart there is no God." Psalm 14:1
  8. i guess we will see when it RVs but I too was wondering if my local bank might not give me a better rate that these online guys. I know they say they will give better rates, but they gouge us pretty good when we buy from them so that makes me suspect that they will do the same on the other side. I certainly don't want to fly across the country to get gouged again.
  9. my gut always tells me when to eat. now is good. on second thought. i just saw that picture with the guy above. it looks like somebody gave him an exercise ball and he ate it instead.
  10. As a conservative, I was against the war also, at least the US involvement in the war. I do think it was a just war (Saddam was a despot who killed his own people) - it was just not OUR war. The nations around him who truly were at risk should have taken care of him. He was no real threat to us, in my opinion. So although I disagreed with President Bush strongly on the war and his reasonings and even the way that he did it, at least he went through Congress which he is Constitutionally required to do- and I do think he is an honorable man. Honorable men can be wrong. I believe he truly felt for the young men (and women) who lost their lives for this sad excursion. For all the bad press he has gotten, it would be truly ironic if his Dinar plan helped restore the USA and helped change the world in such a profound way. You've got to give men their due.
  11. i don't know where he was born- but more and more experts are expressing the opinion that the recently released "birth certificate" was digitally produced and not authentic- and has some odd similarities to a known forgery attempt. The State of Hawaii has apparently refused to verify it or answer questions or allow anyone to see an actual birth certificate. Why the White House would produce this document as proof raises even more questions. There are also legitimate questions about his social security numbers (most people only have 1), the most recent of which appears to be inauthentic, which indicates criminal activity. Now as to the dinar- if the above is true- and he has cut his teeth in Chicago politics, widely known for its corruption, we can not eliminate the possibility that he is part of the problem or that something fishy is going on from the White House. I certainly would not overlook that possibility.
  12. Not sure I believe this- i don't trade precious metals but... how can the federal govt prohibit me or any citizen from freely trading precious metals or anything else that's legal? where does it say they have the right or power to do that in the Constitution? what makes them think they can pass laws like this?
  13. great- where do i cash in?
  14. Let me see. God says that "The fool says in his heart that there is no God" (Psalm 14:1) and He provides proof everywhere of his existence and his Word- and here you are making fun of those who believe. Just for fun, what do you think the odds are of you being right and God being wrong?
  15. If George Robinson claimed that the Lord told him that the Iraqi dinar would RV by the first of June and that the rate would be x.xx and it didn't come to pass, what else do we need to know?
  16. We have heard from several sources that Obama is holding up the RV- because he tried to get a special tax on it but he apparently didn't get it and it doesn't seem likely to get it. I'm not sure if it's true or why those in power would allow it- but I hope the truth eventually comes out so that everybody knows exactly what went down because if it's true, a lot of people are going to be mad- in both countries.
  17. I keep re-reading and have no idea what he was saying. I need English subtitles for the English translation. Does anybody know what he is saying? I wonder if the people listening to him understand what he is saying-
  18. Obama? how could he delay the RV? He doesn't even have a valid Social Security number, does he?
  19. Thank you so much for that personal story because it could help many people if this RVs. We've all heard of many stories like this but I'd bet most think it couldn't happen to them. It can. IF THIS RVs, you will have plenty of money. Don't waste it. Don't fritter it away. And remember, NOBODY cares more about your money than you do. Nobody. If you let people know you have it, many will try to get it- some by legal means- offering to invest it for you. they get a commissions, whether you lose it all or not. Some will just try to borrow it on "can't miss" ideas. ever seen any of those? Some may just try to steal it. Tell no one and be wise. The wolves of this world are very clever. And pay your taxes- you'll have plenty of money anyway- but why be stupid and worry the rest of your life?
  20. jgp

    end of june??

I don't know exactly what will happen- we are all looking at the seems logical- for Iraq to go along with the program, announce the RV, help their people and help the world. but it looks like Iraq for some reason is foolishly putting themselves in a very dangerous situation. With all the unrest in the Middle East, with people in an uproar in country after country, as they see their leaders being filthy rich and they remain poor and without basic services, I can't believe that Iraq's leaders continue to put themselves in this position. They have a lot of neighbors who would love to have their oil and assets, while they piddle and squabble. Remember Iran? They were at war with Iraq for years- think they aren't watching and waiting and weighing their options? imo, if Iraq leaders don't RV soon, the people will continue to have nothing and may be ripe for revolution. They could lose everything. absolutely everything, including their country- and it wouldn't just be a major loss, it would be a monumental loss because of what they could have had. and they will know who the leaders were acted selfishly for their own interests. If they miss this opportunity, they will be forever known as the ones who blew it- in historical proportion.
  21. This the the odd thing about this- if they want to reduce the amount of dinars out there, this delay certainly isn't helping them. It clearly gives more people more tie to buy dinars- and the more time that passes, the more people hear about the dinar and buy them. Dinar are still so cheap that it's worth the risk- and very very few people are going to be discouraged enough to actually sell their dinar- even the people who make fun of the gurus- so the dinar count will probably continue to rise, the longer they delay.
  22. So far, this week isn't blowing my socks off.
  23. "the reporter stated in the last paragraph that the Iraqi dinar has become one of the strongest currencies in the region at a rate equal to 1.3 US Dollars." How could this possibly be true? How could it be in the past tense? How could the Iraqi dinar be one of the strongest currencies in the region as of now and exactly where is it equal to 1.3 US Dollars? Not anywhere that we know of. I'm inclined to dismiss the whole thing but it would be interesting to find out who wrote it and why.
  24. The test to see if it came from God is whether it is accurate or not. Many of us understood this prediction to be for end of May-June 1st. Is he now saying now through June 10th? Sounds odd for a prophecy to be unclear. and the asterisk attached, that it really happened already and we just didn't see it, sounds a little shaky, if this is a prophetic word from the Lord. I'm a Christian and hope it comes true, but it seems like we've seen many people over time give prophetic words with regard to the dinar which don't pan out to be true. That doesn't make God any less true but some of these guys are just plain mistaken and frankly, fortunate that they don't live in OT times (Deuteronomy 18) where 1 false prophecy meant death by stoning.
  25. If all the gurus with all their "intel" say it will RV this week, and I say it won't- and it does not in fact RV this week... do I get to be a guru?
