  1. Good Evening All, I am neither a newbie, or first time poster, or what have you, as you see from my profile I have been hear a little while, not as long as some, but certainly longer than others. I also do not post often, only what I can verify that I heard myself and I do try to be positive. What I can say is that I have seen this site grow a lot over the past year, many new people, many new pumpers, with very creative stories I might add, and very few truths. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, it is a rumor section, but once in a while it would be nice if the bashing would stand still for a bit and people would see the relevancy of some absolutely ridiculous posts we have all seen. Now, for what I would like to share, both good and disappointing news. If you will go back and read my past posts, my bother has a friend named Fahad that is an international investor that lives in Saudi, my earlier post will also reveal more about this gentlemen. When I first asked him about the dinar he had nothing really good to say about this currency, though he is not a currency invest himself. His belief is that the country is still way to unstable for any kind of RV/RD and that it was a ways off. However, he did also reserve the right to change his mind upon any changes in the country over there, this conversation was a while ago; now for today. Fahad has now invested in the dinar, how much, not sure, but I would guess significant. I asked him why now? He simply said that it came to his attention that there was a chance to make a profit of this currency, his belief is in the 17% - 21% range and not the millions people seem to believe that could be made, however, still a good invest return. He also still feels this is a ways off, though he had no timetable, long term is the word he used. I did not ask much more of the man as he really does not talk all that much about his investments. Nevertheless, suffice it to say, the simple fact he is now invested, does make me feel a little better about what my family holds. I never believed all the hype about millions of dollars for hundreds invested, though still a very remote possibility. I do believe however, that a return such as the percentage that Fahad mentioned is fair enough to wait for. So take this information like any other rumor, as no, I am not giving his phone number out, as well, I do not have it, I went through my brother. And you have the right not to believe me, that is yours. Enjoy Your Evening, J
  2. Well folks, if this is really done, yeah right, someone might what to give Ali a call as he still is selling it at $1220 per million. Honestly folks, when this actually happens, the sellers are going to be the first to know, they have a much larger vested interest in it than any one else. Take Care, J
  3. Well, if this is true, there are a number of banks which are selling dinar which may have some explaining to do to their clients, especially B of A. I would find it hard to believe that a large bank would knowing continue to sell Dinar if they knew we could not cash it in at their banks, or at the very least showing some sort of disclaimer when selling dinar. If not, they perhaps are leaving themselves open to a classaction suit, as there are many people jumping on this wagon every single day. We shall see, Take Care, J
  4. Fellow Dinar holders, I thought I would share with you a story of last evening, one in which seemed right for the season. I also understand if the Mods wish to move this to another area as well. I started in this investment almost 18 months ago through my mother-in-law. Like most, I have read many post, watched countless predictions fall short and read posts in which I felt someone had nothing better to do from their parents basement, but make a prediction based on nothing. Like most, I have ridden the highs and lows of this rollercoaster for my 18 months, though I will say that I do not allow myself to ride those waves any loner, thus not allowing myself to be disappointed time and time again. I have my own take on this investment and where it may lead. Though this is not the opinion of the truly hopeful, it is an investment that I believe will turn a profit, and we are all entitled to our opinions. As I started in this investment, I gradually involved my children and a few close friends. What my family (my wife, me and our children that are in their early to late twenties) does is get together once a month, throw money into a pot, so to speak, and purchase more dinar with what we have. It does not matter what one puts in, it only matters that he or she contributes. The dinar, once it has arrived, is equally split among the participating family members. Now, perhaps this does not seem fair to some, but for my family it works well. Though me and my wife are the largest contributors, as we are in a better financial place then our children, our children were taught that to get, you have to give, even though it may not be proportionately in either direction. Last night was our night to once again purchase more dinar with our pot of money and build a little bit more on each of our investments. However, a funny thing happened, one that made more sense than this investment to date. As we figured out how much more we could purchase, my son asked if we had to buy dinar this month, or, if we could do something else, I asked him to explain. He said that this invest may be nothing more than burning money. While there is a chance we may make our money back and then some, there is no guarantee what so ever. His suggestion for this month was to donate the money to a local charity. He mentioned, while this investment may come to fruition and then we can do plenty for our community then, we are waiting nonetheless, waiting to do something good in return for something good happening to us. Whereas right now, though it may not be much, in reality, we can make a real difference now. There are times in a parent's life when they simply know they must have done something right in how they raised their children. This is not to say we have not had our ups and downs, or our share of arguments, but I was a very proud father last night. With the suggestion on the table, it was unanimously decided, without hesitation, that we would donate this month's money to our local soup kitchen. So my fellow dinar holders, if you are considering building on your dinar investment over the next couple of weeks, or any time really, with hopes of being able to help a local charity if and when this does happen, consider, for one time, the very suggestion of my son and make a difference today. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a hopefully prosperous New Year. Blessing and Peace, J

  8. As always, thank you for your insight and hard work
  9. As I mentioned Doc, your insight, whether just mathematical and probability is very well respected by many, thanks for your reply . Regards, J
  10. Gentlemen, As you know, you guys are some of the most trusted and respected on this site. Over the past 4-5 days, we have seen more positive intel coming from Iraqi than in previous months, all seems to be pointed in the right direction. However, not that long ago we were getting daily, if not 3-4 reports a day from a couple of you gentleman. I guess my question is, is there any light you gentleman can shed on all these new found rumors and if so, would you care to share? Please understand, I am not looking for you to justify information you have shared or anything like that, I just wish to have your insight to the new information. As we approach what appears to be a successful conclusion to our investment, I for one, and perhaps many others, would really enjoy hearing what your sources have to say about all the information now floating around. So, there you have it, just a simple question. I hope you gentleman and others are enjoying your weekend and like most hope to hear from you soon and look for a successful conclusion to our investment in the near future. Regards, J
  11. Eagleman, I have been waiting for someone to post something to this nature. There is more truth in what you say than many people want to hear. While there are great people on this site, the truth is, nobody, and I do mean nobody knows when, if, or how this is all going to happen, everything is speculation. For every reason it will, someone can counter with a reason why it will not, but those people are quickly bashed, sent packing, or their post banned. If one is in this investment because they NEED it to happen, I empathize with you, but you are in the wrong place, this is a long shot and there is no telling when or how this will happen. If you are one of these people, this site has posted many times, DO NOT SPEND MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD. This means food, mortgage, car payment and so on money. While not being in this investment as long as some, I have done my homework and have read more than I care to admit. Once again, as we are told we are close by those we trust, through their posts, people are buying more and more, hoping it happens tomorrow, not wanting to miss out on the big payday. However, as you said, it is just another season of crazy speculation. I do believe this is going to happen, but I have no idea when or how. In my opinion, this will happen we all least expect it, otherwise, speculation has the possibility of getting out of hand. Therefore, as we push to the holidays, I wish all the very best. As far as this investments goes, do not lose any sleep over it and if you cannot afford to lose it, take the advice of the many people on this site and do not buy it or buy more. If you have some, be happy that someday it may be worth far more than you paid for it. Remember, it is far better to be on the side of the winning team in a small way, than to be on the side on the loosing team in a big way. Take Care, J
  12. Thought this was interesting timeing considering all the hoop-la going on http://www.bnet.com/blog/clean-energy/iraqi-oil-reserves-why-exxon-stands-to-win-big/2674 GOOO RRRRVVVV Take Care, J
  13. Hi Viper51, Of the many posts that I have read and continue to read, yours and few others I give fair amount of credence to. I believe it is important to all of us who enjoy your posts and appreciate yours and your sources work, for you to please continue doing so. While I have not been here or in this investment as long as some, being able to read posts that have some credit through all the BS is a major plus. So, please keep up the great work and keeping us informed to the best of your abilities, I am sure there, as you know, are many that appreciate it. Regards, J
  14. Hi Folks, Something to consider is that if this a meeting that has anything to do with Dinar and RV, what better time to have it than on the weekend, when the only place one can buy dinars after hearing the news is on the internet. I would feel fairly comfortable in saying that if people, found out about this coming true, phonelines would be burning up all over the place (Ali would be very happy:-)). Just a thought. Take Care, Jim
  15. Hi Traconesu02, Thank you for your thoughts, however, I am curious as to where you saw I wrote about an impending RV being years away. Again, I was only passing along information, knowing full well that people sometimes read between lines that are not there. Therefore, let me see if I can clear up some misconceptions that you may have. First, I did not write anything about an RV being years away, “In his opinion, Iraqi is a very unstable country and will be for many years and so will their economic situation; this is from a guy who knows the region”, is what I wrote. I do not believe that there is RV is there anywhere. Moreover, I do not believe there is one person on this site that feels Iraqi becoming suddenly rich is going to cure all their problems. No, in fact there is the possibility they could become worse, remember, the more money, the possibility for more corruption. I would venture to say that the majority of people want to cash out once this happens and if they never hear about Iraqi again, this would be fine by them. Most people’s goals are monetary, hence investment, and not long term concern for Iraqi stability. With this in mind, it is very possible to see where there problems are only going to change, not perhaps be better. Second, as for Fahad himself, this is what I was told, I can not tell you what he has done for certain, but it does make sense for him to deal with things both ways if he so chooses. So I hope this clears things up a bit, if not, let me know. Take Care, Jim
  16. Hi Rick, Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion, as the Prince is to his and as my brother's friend is entitled to his. All investors to not invest in the same way and do not look at every investment in the same light as the next. I would say also that because one person in Saudi has Dinar, does not necessarily mean they all do. Again, this was a perspective and I can only relay what I was in fact told. As I mentioned in the first post, this was not to be considered a rumor, this was only another person's perspective and nothing more, I was not asking to be believed. However, should you choose to take it as a rumor, that is your right. However, I certainly do not wish to be considered a person spreading a false information or a person that makes things up, which, in a roundabout way, you implied, I certainly do not care about any 15 seconds of fame. Therefore, if this is what others feel, I would ask a MOD to erase this from the rumor section. As for hard to believe, perhaps, but no more so than almost every post that is out here, especially in the rumor forum. Thanks for your thoughts and you feedback, Take Care, Jim
  17. Hi All, I have decided to share some information with all you folks that I learned yesterday. This is not a rumor or some special insight from a secret operative I have in the region. No, this is only a perspective of someone I personally know. First, a little background. The information comes from my brother who lives in Florida, myself, I live In NH. I have been hesitant to ask him to do what I did, but with all the BS flying around, I thought I would try and find at least a little piece of mind. My brother was stationed in Saudi Arabia for 2 years during the first Gulf war; this is where he met his wife. Now, she worked as a nanny for a Colonial in the Saudi Arabian military. Anyways, his wife and this family were and still are very close, as is my brother to this family as well. Fahad now runs an international investing firm out of Africa and has more money than I can even imagine. This gentleman holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering, and a Masters in Economics, so he is no fool. Anyways, I asked my brother to call Fahad to get his perspective on this Dinar investment; this is what he was told to tell me. We all know this investment is a long shot, but it does have some potential. Fahad personally does not invest in this opportunity AT THIS TIME for this reason. In his opinion, Iraqi is a very unstable country and will be for many years and so will their economic situation; this is from a guy who knows the region. Nevertheless, and here is the interesting part, Fahad did say that IF this does turn out to be a good opportunity, such as an RV, he does have people that are ready to jump as soon as it happens. Now, with this being known my brother asked him why not just invest now. Fahad simply said, if I invest now, I could lose money. However, if I wait to see if something does happen and I jump in at the beginning, while I will not make as much, I do not lose any and I will only make money, as there is a good chance it will gain in value for a little while. So there you have it, not a rumor, just a perspective from an investor who does not really care if this thing RVs or not, but is ready if it does and has the resources to make plenty of money even after an RV. Take Care, Jim
  18. Well, this sounds like great news, thanks for the link and lets see if this information is now picked up by a major news agency.
  19. By any chance is there a link that can be posted to any of these reports?
  20. Well, really hope you are right, would be a nice way to start off a week. However, with that said, need to see some pics of the new denoms before there is any real need to get excited. Take Care
  21. I just did the calculation myself on this site and got 3.10 when going from Dinar to USD and .32 when going from USD to Dinar. I am sure it is nothing, but it is interesting.
  22. Good Morning All, I received this in my mail this morning from someone who has been passing along information, some of you may have seen it already, some may not have. No link, just RUMOR and should be taken as such, most likely means nothing as with most rumors, but I did find it intresting coming of the G8 summit. Take Care, JJ wow, I am on a very powerful phone call:People on the call have been taking calls from Iraq and from contacts at the IMF. First of all, yesterday even local people were running to check what the celebrations were about, b/c they too are waiting and watching for the rv. There were a couple of other stories . . . that show the Iraqi people and gov't are also waiting. Two groups of people in the Iraqi govt have been paid now, but they were not paid w/ cash, they were pd on their smart card. it turns out the stability of the gov't is in great question, Maliki has been threatening in a big way and at this time, Allawi and his peeps have left Iraq for safety -- they are holed up in Kuwait. M has been told that if he shows up for the parliament tomorrow, they will put a hole in his head. But M is supposed to meet with A tomorrow. It is a 2 fold problem, yes the Iraqi gov't is in trouble -- the US w/ Obama in charge, is also running. Not supporting the fragile democracy . However, on our side, is the amount of dinars held by the US govt. Today O said that in 3 yrs the US would be completely out of debt, well the only way we're getting $ now is with the RV. O was dissed at the G8 today . . . and was stunned to discover how little power he had. . . . but we are not the only ones holding dinar, consensus was that some of these other countries + Iraq's own basic needs will take care of this, hopeful consensus is that it will be this week. Just had another call, it has been decided behind the scenes, that the big push is to take care of the Iraqi currency -- and the G8 is putting them in zzzzzzzzz. All is already arranged, and it is definitely to happen by the end of this mo. OK I can't read and listen and type, until later
  23. Yes, I do feel this is something that they intend to EVENTUALLY do. I am trying to find an e-mail yesterday that stated what you said , but followed this statement up with they still however intend to honor all current currency and that the value will not be taken away. This gives credit to what many have said in that the 000's will be removed from the value .00086 > .86, not the currency. Also, this probably should have been posted in the LOP forum, not sure you know there is one. Take Care
