No offense wingsofhope, I just think from a business aspect. Why wouldn't they be open on a holiday to accommodate dinar holders if that Going to bring them more revenue/ business. Thanks though, your got your point view.

Hi all I just texted my two friends who works at 2 different banks here in southern California and asking them to confirm if their banks are open on Monday. Then they bothe confirmed they are going to be open for the first time on a national holiday. And when I asked if they know the reason behind their responses was, "no idea". I hope is something related to all the recent RV rumors that we re ready to cash out on Monday! My first post just passing along this personal info from friends working at. Chase and WF. Sean

Willie or anyone who could explain this to me. It always puzzled me. Ok 25000 dinar notes drop "000" becomes 25 dinar and each dinar equals to 1 usd dollar or .86 us. How is that an RV? Is that what we all started out with $25 usd buys you approximately 25000 dinars? Please explain.... thank you. I asked this question before but didn't get an answer that satisfied me. Seant

If the 3 zeros were dropped in-country, making a 25,000 IQD worth $25 US…many have asked….what will that do to existing bank balances within Iraq? But if the 3 zeros are dropped, and the rate goes to $3.22….those in-country accounts TRIPLE their balances. Ron, If the 25000 IQD worth $25, and the rate goes to $3.22 then wouldn't it be $80.50USD per $25,000 IQD. So it's not what we all expected, $80,500USD (Per 25,000 IQD) when it RV to 3.22.
