Anything profitted over $9,999 and you will be reported to the IRS by the ones who exchange your money........which they SHOULD also have you fill out that form to go along with it at time of exchange......

You forgot to mention something.....all those little exchanges that you might do at the airport....none of that is required to be reported to the IRS you know why? Because you didnt make a profit over 10,000 dollars.....anything profitted over that amount, the one who is exchanging your money is required to report you and your transaction that you made....which is why they have that form that Ali is talking about....if you go to exchange currency even at a bank and the PROFIT is over 9,999 dollars they are supposed to have you fill out that form and they are required to report that transaction to our IRS,,,,,anything less then that yea you arent really held accountable for any taxes and no one is goin to force the issue.....

The CBI is not going to directly lay out their plans for the IDQ....they are better at misdirection and disinformation then the govt itself!! What they are saying is not making sense about hyper-inflated currency when they have in fact retrieved 70% of their liquidity bringing the numbers back down to about 9 trillion dinar.....and that is NOT hyper-inflated by any sense of the means....its back down to a controllable amount....and if you look further at the original article on this post it says the Iraq Central Bank denies the rumors of a redenomination of a NEW currency and raising the zeros off the currency...its all made to confuse and reduce speculation......which is there main objective in this case.....the CBI spent sooo much money printing this new dinar it would be unrealistic for them to spend that kind of money AGAIN for a completely new currency....not to mention again the fact that they pulled in 70% of the liquidity....you dont do that if you are going to LOP the currency or redenominate...you would just leave it all out there cause it wouldnt make any kind of difference!!!!

If u think that they will not continue to work towards forming a govt during Ramadan your sadly mistaken....it won't happen before but def COULD happen DURING....they will not be allowed to pause talks and negotiations just because of the holidays and it looks like things are looking up for the next couple weeks in that respect!

You can still open a warka account if you wish....I dont think its necessary but to spread around what you have you can open an account with them if you wish......just email them and they will tell you how, you basically wire transfer USD from your account to CitiBank and then they transfer it to warka....

If they redenominate the rate of exchange will have to change as well.....they wouldnt put out the smaller denominations without raising the value of the currency, they are trying to ease cash transactions, not make them worse....if they put out the smaller bills and not raise the purchasing power and value then it would be like going into a store to buy 5000 dollars worth of stuff and you have to pay in all 10's or 20's.....that would be silly....not to mention they have said both older and new bills will be accepted in the marketplace for some time until they have all the bigger bills in which wouldnt take long just by putting the smaller ones out.....and IF.....IF there was an exchange window which I HIGHLY doubt would happen your looking at a 6 months to 1 year timeframe....and that could actually be a little longer......wouldnt be 30 to 45 days....thats for sure.....
