no surprise there.......they have soooo much work to do before they can think about coming up in the world with the value of their currency.....I cant see anything positive happening with the VND for YEARS to come!!! Dont see the Dong as a good investment at this point contrary to them posting the highest economical growth percentages.....its just not that simple to raise the value of your currency

Too serious? Alot of people have invested REAL money in this....not just a couple of bucks, but THOUSANDS of dollars.....why shouldnt people be taking this serious? There is always the possibility we lose what we invested....although it being far off from what is seeming will happen you cannot forget that....I dont know about you but I work hard for my money and its not just something I throw away at anything or take lightly.....and Im sure most people would agree especially with the economy the way its going money is becoming scarce and not so easy to come by so to take something lightly that you have invested thousands of dollars in is silly in my opinion and is not very smart.....

When it is internationally recognized any and every bank will be able to exchange the dinar......dont know why he told you that.....most likely you were speaking to a teller anyways and they are not always acknowledgable of the poilicies and procedures that banks can carry out as far as foreign currency goes....have heard of banks telling people they will be able to cash in once it RV's and is internationally recognized......

Its true....ive seen the article myself, didnt save it tho unfortunately but it was enacted by bush and its true long term capital gains are free from task ONLY till the end of 2010 where is will be reinstated....so if it does come down to long term gains, there are some very lucky people if it RV's this year

No one is dogging what the military is doing for us over there so calm down.......the reason why EVERYONE has struck out is because its all been hearsay and rumors which no one should be putting faith into anyways cause alot of it is made up just to stir up attention and keep people interested and coming back day after day......NONE of it has been based off factual info or movements that Iraq is making and doing right in front our faces....its all just been creatively written rumors and if you used a little common sense with them you would realize that alot or most is simply not logical or possible.....only until recently have we been given better reasoning and ideas as to why this would happen soon based off factual documents and projects Iraq is working on coming from their own mouths.....that at least to me is the best info we have as to when this could happen.....as much as the military is filled in on what is happening in Iraq and what they need to prepare for, none of them are priveledged to know the steps and changes in monetary policy of the CBI.....sorry, it just doesnt work that way.....the only thing they MIGHT know about is securing or guarding certain areas or places that might need an influx of security the day it happens or day before but even then they arent going to be sat down and told to everyone that Iraq is revaluing their currency at such and such rate.....they will not know a week in advance of something like that either....NO ONE will.....

Because of how bad things are right now with the lack of leadership and the political vacuum they would not just be sitting back and letting the citizens kill eachother so they can come out with this on a specific date.....if everyone was selected and in place then they would have come out already to get things rolling with their economy.....the people are rioting and protesting because of all the simple things that need addressing and the world leaders would not let this continue just so they could come out on one specific date with releasing this information.....and our govt is not holding back the process of things either....we have stepped back completely to let them handle it themselves....no matter when the rv happens or the govt seats it will in no way make obama look good to anyone....he has NOTHING to do with the war in Iraq....no matter what happens over there good or bad it will be placed on Bush's shoulders because he is the one that started all this.....only thing obama is doing is sticking to a date to pull troops out....doesnt take a magical, fearless, awesome leader to do that when its been in the works for years to begin with.....If Iraq fails people are going to look at bush, if Iraq progresses and has much success, people are going to look at bush......

All you have to do is talk to regular everyday currency traders.....I have met a few on here that trade forex as well as Scooter himself......its all part of the regulations/policies its not just the rules of the ISX.....its how it works globally......in order for you to take your stock market international you have to have an internationally recognized currency and it has to be so for about 30 days before going global so they have time to "consolidate" what they have.....not to mention also to be internationally recognized AND to take a countries stock market global their currency HAS TO have the value of AT LEAST 1 cent....... Japan is right at that mark and is at the bottom of the list......

Exactly my point.....heres one that says 25 trillion.....no way in the world they would need to even print that much when its HARDLY even used and its not worth anything......the most widely used currency in the world is the Euro and its at half of what they "say" Iraq has in Dinar..... I for one dont believe any of those numbers on what they have in circulation.....logically it makes no sense and just doesnt add up......especially when they say that the average Iraqi only spends what is equivilant to a little over 2 US dollars a day......

LOL get it? ludacris....hahaha but anyways there have been alot of numbers thrown out there as to how much dinar is actually there and those numbers are anywhere from 25 to 29 trillion dinar i believe......no way....no how......there is no way in hell they would print that much dinar and put it out there for a country that only has 31 million people......the US has no where near that number of dollars out in circulation and our population is like 25 million times that

That's not exactly how it works, every bill they use for purchases isn't destroyed...alot of itgets funneled back into the banks reserves to support loans and things given out by banks....70% of their money supply was removed or brought back in and as far as how much currency is in circulation there is no way that it's close to 30 trillion dinar....that's just ludacris....

You must also remeber its not like Iraq is actually paying all of us when they RV...its a simple exchange of one currency for another no one really loses anything.....and they will be able to justify the rate of exchange through their oil production, demand, and price per barrel.....

The way things have been going its very possible to have a govt before end of Ramadan.....this holiday is not restricting them from working and the rest of the world will not let them sit on their asses either.....we will be stepping in soon if they dont get it together but I could see them figuring out the new govt bbefore the end of month......

Maliki and his govt are the ones we need to thank, for the RV.....they voted and put the laws into effect last year to approve the RV......I personally think Maliki is fine for the PM position.....and the fact that the US still has his back makes you go hmmmmm.......

Scooby Doo doesnt doubt this investment....he questions what is put in front of him....as should most of you because there is alot of false information going around......just because you have doubts in what some people say doesnt make you negative, and does not mean that you dont think this was a good investment otherwise him and many others wouldnt be here in the first place......asking questions when having doubts is the only way to get true answers....alot of people on here take everything word for word and are too gullible for something like this, its not being negative to have doubts to alot of info that is going around and its not being negative just because someone doesnt believe hearsay from someone else REGARDLESS of who they are or what they have done, its part of human nature and should be accepted as being normal.......I know Scooby Doo has a good amount of dinar and wants nothing more then for this to RV.....you shouldnt be calling people out like that when you dont really know them or what they stand for......
