  14. Hey FP, I only clicked on this thread because I thought you were one of the "credible" ones. Guess I'll have to remember that you have a sense of humor, too. :-)
  15. Hope your little voice is right, Possum....keep listening!
  16. Who are you looking at for bank ratings? I've spent several hours this morning at bankrate.com and saw many 5 star rated banks.
  17. "I just found the ECFA.org website that has some really pertinent information on finance, evangelical boards, nonprofit governance and other issues. I thought you might be interested in it!" This group has been around a long time. They let you choose what kind of ministries you want to support: youth, prison, environment, orphans, animals, homeless and so on, any where in the world. The members of this organization are fiscally accountable, and if they do something illegal, immortal or unethical they are removed from membership.

  19. At this point, I'll be glad if I get more back than I paid for it. Half of the face value would be much better, though...
  20. Since is was part of the old regime, he shouldn't have any part in the current goings on, would he?
  21. Tithe, pay off current debts, go back to school and take my Mom on a cruise. Not sure about the rest of it yet...looking for a good retirement plan.
  22. I was on DinarTrade.com a little while ago, and it looked like all Ali is selling is 25,000 denoms. What's up with that?
  23. I went to Chase in Banning, Calif yesterday to ask about procedures. Tellers are the ones with the answers...the lady I got at one of the desks was clueless. They use the book...they are too small for a De La Rue. The IQD isn't on there exchage database yet, but the sample in the book matched my note. The part that jazzed me was that I don't have to pay an exchange fee because I have an account there. I think she said it was $5.00 per transaction otherwise. Either way, that's a whole lot better than paying 6%!!!
  24. Shre-did you ask if they have a de la Rue or any other exchange particulars? (My nearest Chase is in Banning, CA)
