Great article but have heard it all before. The parliament is not on board with any of this. I honestly don’t think the CBI is on board either. Somebody once said “focus on what they do, not on what they say.” Sounds like good advice to me. Until they do what they need to do, they will always be a bunch of white collar criminals that think they’re smarter than everyone else.

Sorry Jaafari...Iraq does not have positive relations with the world..... the countries of the world want to see Iraq succeed, and you and the political powers in Iraq have been holding the world hostage so to speak..... the goodwill is going to run out sooner rather than later if Iraq doesn’t get their crap together.... Speaking of not trusting banks, how about not trusting the goi or cbi......Even if they go three to one, I will never have anything to do with Iraq or the Middle East ever again. The CBI and GOI strung everyone along for years, making fools out of everyone. I don’t care how much money I make off this, they can’t buy back what they lost long ago. Their arrogance and pompous behavior will never be forgotten.

So maybe my theory that the citizens of Iraq are way smarter than the CBI and GOI is true....the citizens only need a week to absorb this, but the GOI and CBI have taken how many years to get this going?.... I really have to conclude that Iraq has lost a huge amount of credibility with other governments of the world. Maybe the countries of the Middle East don’t see it that way, but the rest of the world does for sure. Their lack of progress and continued corruption is appalling to any modern or even half modern country or person. The GOI needs an extremely severe adjustment or nothing will get done. Iraq is currently the land of thieves, liars, and conmen. The CBI is absolutely corrupt and ineffective as a central bank. More of the same blah blah blah and nothing ever changes.
