By reading this article it looks like there will be new bills with less zeros, however it does not indicate there will be any change in the value of the present dinar. In other words, it looks like the bills we have will be honored but they will incorporate the new bills and try to weed out old bills. I happen to work in a BB&T Building that is one of the corporate and training headquarters. I have a very good repor with the head foreign currancy officer in the bank. She did tell me the bank received this email and when I asked her what it meant, she looked at me a little funny and said "maybe they are selling a few too many." I then said, "or maybe it is about that time" (RV) and she looked back at me with a wink and said well maybe. I am not suggesting she knows anything but I will tell you many of the corporate heads in this building are invested large. I'm sure if it were a scan they would already be on to that and "uninvesting." Again, do not read into what I am telling you that she knows any date or rate (she does not), but I do think if it was a scam the big dogs would be cashing in to recoup what they could and that is not happening.

I work in the BB&T Corporate Headquarters building in Alabama. I will stop by and ask their foreign currency teller (who happens to be the Branch Manager as well) to see if that information was sent to her as well. She has told me in the past that she should receive an email from her vendor 3 to 5 days prior to RV (or at least that is how she has been informed of every other currency revaluation.) I will let you know what I find out ont his end.

I have been invested for almost a year and I have always used the EZ Forex currency converter, however, as of yesterday Iraq is no longer on the list. Does anyone else use this site and are you having the same trouble? BTW I am not insinuating this is any evidence of anything about to happen, I'm just wondering if anyone else is seeing Iraq on the list. This is not important, I'm just curious. Thanks

I am not saying that the rate is 2.88 or whatever others have said, I'm just telling you the bank will know the rate and have it in their system long before it is made public.

I saw it myself on "Worldmate" an iphone app/converter. Apparently the word is that some European converters released this information without permission and it was a mishap. This had NOTHING to do with rumor pumpers!!!!!! Trust me, I wish everyone would quit buying, maybe it would prompt Iraq to do the right thing. It did happen and it was very exciting.

If you are going to comment (especially if it sounds like you are bashing) perhaps you should read a little more closely. Sexydinar stated if it was 1 dinar to $.86 everyone happy. If IQD1000.00 = USD0.86 plus no so happy. Sexydinar is correct. at 1000 IQD to $.86 USD - we have made nothing.
