  3. I am in disagreement with this statement .................... As I have stated prior, it is my personal perspective that the current President of the US, D.J. Trump will not let Iran dictate political or financial reality in the Middle East and or Iraq. We all know that the CBI is being run by an Iranian puppet, but we also know or have read that the US Treasury has personal located in the CBI building to oversee daily CBI operations. It sounds like Iran is getting squeezed for cash via renewed sanctions, in addition their military proxies' are getting pummeled on the battlefield. The Iranian military is configured to control the local population and not able to conduct an offensive operation. They may have missiles, rockets and drones, but as recent history shows they are not very effective. Maybe the Iranians force the CBI, via their puppet, to RV the Iraqi currency and thus Iran gets a short-term financial transfusion ?? ...... Additional sanctions and or the freezing of assets should prevent any significant long term Iranian gain. If this comes to fruition, we get the long-awaited RV and move on from this rollercoaster ride to a more sane reality. Or; The Iraqi government rids itself of the Iranian influence and moves to a "pro-western" position realizing that a strong Iraqi currency (RV) is in their (and our) best long term interest. Just sayin' and thinkin' out loud ..................

  9. Well we start our count down on our last 8 weeks of the 1st quarter of 2025. With nothing but unfounded speculation of the budget being passed. Next up we still have the auctions going. Business as usual. We all thought the auctions would be stopped the 1st of January 2025! Still hoping something happens with the IQD , but as this train keeps on rolling down the tracks, I’m still optimistic about the RV/RI in 2025. Time will tell! JMHO

Sandy Ingram This is not good news...Well known Iraqi economist Nabil Jaafar Al-Marsoumi...has warned that US pressure to lower oil prices could...lead to a devaluation of the Iraqi dinar... [He] explained in a Facebook post that US president Donald Trump has pushed for Saudi Arabia and OPEC to lower oil prices. This move is intended to make energy more affordable and accelerate the end to the Russia Ukraine war. As a result, OPEC plus is expected to end production cuts of 4.65 million barrels within the next few weeks. This decision will likely cause oil prices to drop...A drop in oil prices to $60 per barrel would create serious financial challenges...If oil prices fall further to $50 per barrel Iraq may have no choice but to devalue its currency...Stay tuned and stay positive. When the Dinar goes on the FOREX, you can exchange at any time you wish, wait as long as you wish, until the currency you hold is cancelled...which will be 10 / TEN / Diez...YEARS ...Capice'? Jeff [REPOST] Question: "How long should we wait to go to the bank if we are not needing money ASAP? In other words do you think it will start floating fairly quickly or will it take some time?" This will be a managed float, which means it can only change plus or minus 10% per day...When the rate changes it'll come out somewhere around the $3.80 range. That's my opinion. I don't think it's going to go over $4 until going into the 2025 budget period...I think it's going to stay below $4 during our 90-day window to exchange. I wouldn't worry about time waiting for it to float. Get it exchanged. Don't wait for this to go up in value because I don't think you're going to have that opportunity or time frame. The Finance Committee of the Iraqi Council of Representatives said on Sunday that the vote on amending the General Budget Law is related to the proposal sent by the federal government to the council. While it explained that the cost of extracting oil is $16 & is not fixed, but may reach $22, it confirmed that stopping the export of the region's oil led to the federal government losing more than $14 billion. Committee member, Ikhlas al-Dulaimi, told Shafaq News Agency, "The House of Representatives voted today to amend the General Budget Law & the vote was on the proposal sent by the government to the House." Al-Dulaimi explained that “the cost of extracting oil in the Kurdistan Region, according to the amendment, is $16 per barrel, & the cost is not fixed, as there will be a consulting company that will determine the actual cost of extracting oil & it may reach $22 per barrel, and according to this cost, the federal government will be obligated to pay it to the Kurdistan Region.” She explained that, "according to the budget amendment, the region's oil will be delivered to SOMO, which will be responsible for selling the oil abroad," noting that "the halt in oil exports was not due to the region, but rather it was due to the federal Ministry of Oil filing a lawsuit against the Ministry of Oil in the region, which caused the halt in oil exports & this led to the federal government losing more than 14 billion Dollars." 19. Where did you get your information, I monitor what President Trump says all the time. In fact I have not even heard of him even mentioning Iraq’s name in a while. If you got the information would you please share the article with me or the site. If President Trump gets Iraq in the crosshairs those sorry bastards better pay attention or they will be wondering what went wrong! Iraq has definitely got to be dealt with, in my opinion. I had another idea if I happen to run into bush jr at a baseball game or some function his at I’m going to try and holler out at question to him. He has been hanging out in Dallas at his old library. I have seen him on the news going to sporting events for SMU! I might write the questions down and ask the SS if they would give him the note! I don’t know if that is a smart ideal or not. They might think I’m trying to give him poison or something. I sure would like to hear his answer to my questions. If anyone has any suggestions for questions write it down and get it to me! Also an opinion of my idea please feel free to let me know what you think! I think everyone who has bought IQD deserves a legitimate answer to what his assessment of this is! Case closed

  24. As part of its war on counterfeiting, Iraq enhances the security of its currency with improved marks and printing new banknotes economy 11:47 - 2025-02-01 Today's News - Follow-up Attentions in Iraq are directed towards the efforts made to protect the national currency and enhance its economic security. In this context, the Central Bank of Iraq's disclosure of a set of modern security marks that have been added to the circulating banknotes comes as a qualitative step that reflects the keenness to keep pace with global developments in the field of currency printing and security. On January 19, the Central Bank of Iraq unveiled the security marks of the circulating banknotes, with the aim of educating the public, as well as companies and commercial banks that deal with these banknotes on a daily basis, reviewing these improved security marks, through a technical bulletin, in which it indicated the introduction of prominent marks on the new banknotes to enable the visually impaired to identify the banknote denominations by touch. . Mazhar Muhammad Salih, the economic advisor to the Prime Minister, confirmed in a statement followed by Al-Rasheed, that Iraq's decision to print a new currency is a natural decision that comes within the state's efforts to protect its national currency and enhance its security. Salih explained that since the first issuance of the currency in 1934, Iraq has printed its currencies at the largest international printing companies, with the exception of the blockade period when the state was forced to resort to local printing. He pointed out that Iraq still relies on the largest international companies specialized in printing currency, which are companies with a good reputation and high reliability and adhere to the highest international safety standards. He pointed out that this matter is of great importance to the economic security of Iraq and global security in general. He added that Iraq reprinted its currency after 2003 with the largest international companies, including British and German companies. He explained that reprinting currency is a routine procedure that is carried out periodically to replace damaged papers and introduce new security improvements to the currency to protect citizens from counterfeiting and money laundering. He stressed that these procedures come within the framework of the state's keenness to protect citizens' economic rights and ensure the stability of the Iraqi economy. He pointed out that the Central Bank of Iraq is the only body authorized to issue currency in accordance with the law, and there is strict security control over the printing and circulation process to prevent the entry of counterfeit currency into the country. Saleh stressed that the cost of reprinting a single currency is very simple, not exceeding cents compared to its benefits, and that this procedure is an integral part of the policy of central banks around the world to maintain the stability of national currencies and protect national economies. https://today-agency.net/Details/33106
