  1. Well it's been awhile and I wanted to drop in here and say something. I am 56 yrs old and have never seen the kind of outpouring of love that my family and I've received in the last two weeks. Lady Meredith did more in just 27 days of life to break down walls of hatred and fear than I've ever seen anyone do in a lifetime. On the day she was born an Angel wrote her name in the book of life in Heaven and then whispered, "too beautiful for earth". My heart has an empty spot that I doubt will ever be filled again. But through all the love and prayers from everyone here and in my hometown, my family and I have found a spiritual strength the likes of which I've not ever known. As I said in the first post I have never asked people to pray for me but I will from now on. I could literally feel the power of everyone's prayers as I carried my little girls body out of the church and laid her in the ground. For that I wish to say to everyone here how indebted to you all I am. You are all my extended family and you are all forever in my prayers. This event has changed me in a manner that I would never have thought. And through it all I have found a Peace with myself through God that I've never known. A Peace that I know can only come when so many people are praying for you. We will move on but we will NEVER forget Lady Meredith Joy Turner. And I will NEVER forget everyone of you, from my dear Brother @Shabibilicious to our Dearest Friend @Adam Montana And everyone in between. You have all been so wonderfully kind to me. May our Lord Jesus Christ greatly Bless each and everyone of you all.

  5. Good Evening Dinar Vets, here's several opinions & comments that might be of interest to you. Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** Pimpy *** ...this article over here IMO is a biggie. Article: "Report: Nuri al-Maliki distributed his wealth among his relatives but the "Sakhil Strike" did not miss its target!" ... we all know one of the most corrupt and high-profile people is Maliki. How he's still standing and running around free for now I couldn't understand until I got to this article. Al-Kazemi is being very strategic about this. He's laying the whammy down on corruption...he didn't go after Maliki directly only because people said [In the article]...this would be a declaration of war...any sort of direct investigation in Maliki would be considered some type of act of war within the tribes...make no doubt about it this has got to have Maliki concerned... *** Mnt Goat *** ...I believe in the late fall season we may hear some news about the “project to delete the zeros” from the CBI, and we will be in a better position to know where we stand with the reinstatement. We have not heard any news now for almost 2 years. We just wait...I am sorry folks that I could not bring better news to you today but there really is not much more noteworthy news. We just have to sit tight, pray, and wait. That's all for today Folks ... Be blessed & sleep well ... RON

  6. Good Evening Dinar Vets, here's several opinions & comments that might be of interest to you. Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** Pimpy *** ...A lot of progress going on in Iraq. Article: "Representing the Kurdistan Region in the Iraq negotiating committees in the strategic dialogue with America" This is what impresses me the most about Al-Kazemi's administration...his willingness to just get in there and get things done. It's been outstanding. This is great news for both our short-term and long-term investments...when it comes to the Iraqi dinar anything and everything that gets these guys back on their feet and helps build their economy is a benefit to us...this is a huge step because that shows Al-Kazemi's willingness to work with Kurdistan and to helps get things accomplished with the United States... *** Kaperoni *** [Q? : Kuwait Devalued & ReInstated both in One Night...?] ...I disagree that they did that..but even if I am wrong, Kuwait never had 42 trillion in circulation...Iraq has over 42 trillion in Iraq. That does not include what is outside the country. That is well documented...All you need to do is google Kuwait and the central bank to learn they never had that much currency. ...42 trillion? That is basic math! There cannot ever be a significant RV of the dinar. *** Jeff *** Article: "Britain commends action on Baghdad and Erbil and shows commitment to addressing the broader challenges of Iraq" Quote: "the most urgent of these challenges is addressing the economic crisis facing the country..." Look at this. This is huge. Quote continues: "...through the introduction of necessary economic reforms." ...This is amazing...those reforms require funding from the budget and the budget is married to the rate change... *** Mnt Goat *** Article: "MINISTER OF OIL: THE CONTRACT WITH CHEVRON WILL MAKE IRAQ AT THE FOREFRONT OF COUNTRIES WITH ENERGY" Like I keep saying this is Iraq’s last chance to use what oil revenues they have to rebuild the country and their economy. Life is changing to outside fossil fuels. What will they finally do? Implementing the customs and tariffs must be implemented now! There is no turning back unless they want another financial crisis and this next time they will not be able to crawl their way out of it. If not for Trump’s help with US commitments they would be doomed now even. *** Footforward*** [Q? : How close do you feel we are...] I believe we are in the time and season...! *** Jeff *** Iraq's currency will become internationally recognized when the rate does change. And they "must" also be compliant with and accept IMF Article VIII. The rate change has to change basically first or at the same time but the rate change is the linchpin...the currency does not become internationally recognized till the rate change - so that's the linchpin. Once that happens the currency does become internationally recognized. That's also the linchpin to when Iraq will become Article VIII compliant with the IMF. Right now Iraq is under Article VIII rules, guidelines and procedures. They have to adhere to them but they don't become Article VIII till the rate changes...Jeff, your explanation is a bit convoluted...IMHO..! Ron

RON *** Frank26 *** Article: "Economist: The government must use the exchange rate of the dollar to overcome the financial crisis" ...they need to be 1 to 1. Quote: "the increase in the exchange rate in government banks contributes to eliminating the current crisis and maximizes state resources, at a time when IRAQ needs to make a boom in the banking sector." *** Jeff *** comment: "Personally I think if it happens it will be when nobody expects. Possibly over the weekend, in order to maintain low speculation." ...it actually has to happen for Iraq on a Sunday morning which is exactly when Kuwait did it. They did it on March 24th of '91...It has to happen at the very beginning of Iraq's business banking week and Iraq's first business banking day of their week is their Sunday. Also it has to happen at a point in time when all financial markets are closed around the world to minimize/reduce and control market volatility...

  8. KRG DELEGATION IN BAGHDAD FOR TALKS ON 2021 DRAFT FEDERAL BUDGET LAW: SOURCE 2 Hours ago https://nrttv.com/En/News.aspx?id=23553&MapID=2 SULAIMANI — A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) arrived in Baghdad on Sunday (August 30) for talks about the draft federal budget for 2021. The delegation includes two KRG ministers and several general directors, a well-informed source told NRT Digital Media reporter in Baghdad Omed Muhammad on condition of anonymity. The Council of Representatives passed a budget in 2019, but failed to do so in 2020 in part because of acrimony between Erbil and Baghdad. Under the 2019 budget law, the Kurdistan Region was supposed to get a 12.67 percent share of the total, but received substantially less when Baghdad retaliated against Erbil’s failure to adhere to the terms of the law. Lawmakers are expected to take up the task of drafting the budget when they return from recess in September. (NRT Digital Media)

  9. Sunday, 30 August 2020 09:09 PM Corruption begins with the criminal Nouri al-Maliki .. Can you investigate him? Al-Kazemi forms a committee to combat corruption Observers: Al-Kazemi’s problem is that he opens all files at once, and the movements are purely media. The problem of Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi is that he is dispersed and does not want to focus on a single file to complete and present it to the Iraqi public opinion. He wants to move in all files, and this is good, as the Iraqis say, but he needs governmental effort and decisions on the ground. It is not an informative appearance, opening all files at once and talking in them. The Iraqis know their issues well, and are fully following them up in various websites, newspapers and forums .. However, the government’s role stands at the limits of action and implementation to eliminate problems. During the last hours, Al-Kazemi announced the formation of a committee with wide powers to combat Al-Fasa, which is an incurable disease in Iraq and the cause of which is the men of Iran and Iran's militias. The Iraqis, who were contemporary with the criminal Nouri al-Maliki, responded to him for 8 years during his rule. That if he wants to start corruption, let him start with the biggest head, Nuri al-Maliki. During his reign, Iraq was devastated , Mosul fell, and the Spyker massacre took place, and no less than 300 billion dollars were smuggled abroad .. Start with it and you will find the rest fall. Just move his files with your directives to the judiciary .. Will you and your government be able to do this? Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Prime Minister, had announced the formation of a supreme committee to deal with major corruption and exceptional crimes cases, with broad powers. And that is after the recent security breaches. In a speech on the occasion of Ashura, Al-Kazemi said that it had been decided to form a supreme investigative committee to deal with major corruption and exceptional crimes, provided that the powers required to achieve the prestige of law and restore the rights of the state and the citizen from the corrupt, as he put it. Al-Kazemi announced the end of the first phase of investigations into the violations that accompanied the popular protests during the past months, and we began counting the wounded and victims of the demonstrations to obtain their entitlements ... but he did not say who shot them ?! The Prime Minister, Al-Kazemi, indicated that the uncontrolled weapon and crime gangs, assassination and kidnapping, are a dagger in the heart of every Iraqi, stressing that the security forces have moved with all their energies and are conducting extensive investigations, which will be announced upon completion. On the early elections, Al-Kazemi said, it is our firm commitment to the Iraqi people, calling on Iraqis to prepare to renew the biometric card, which is necessary to ensure the integrity of the elections. Al-Kazemi called on those concerned with the peaceful political process to prepare and prepare the ground for holding early and fair elections. In the same context, the Prime Minister stressed the need for the security services to provide protection for peaceful demonstrators. It also stressed the right to peaceful protest, and the duty of the security forces to provide the necessary protection for peaceful demonstrators. Again, his total rejection of the attack on the security forces in charge of protecting demonstrations. He also affirmed his refusal to block streets and roads, and harm the public interests of the state and citizens during the protests. Regarding corruption, IraqOver the past 17 years, he has not separated his inferior position among the nations, as the most corrupt and opaque people. Observers believe that Al-Kazemi opens all the battles at once, so he is unable to complete even one of them https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/200784/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AF-%D9%8A%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%A3-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D8%B1%D9%85-%D9%86%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%83%D9%8A-%D9%87%D9%84-%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%88%D9%86-%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%89-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D9%82%D9%8A%D9%82-%D9%85%D8%B9%D9%87-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%B8%D9%85%D9%8A-%D9%8A%D8%B4%D9%83%D9%84-%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9-%D9%84%D9%85%D9%83%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%AD%D8%A9-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AF

  10. Legal expert: Al-Kazemi's decision to form an investigative committee in major corruption cases will pave the way for opening 4 important files Sunday 30, August 2020 23:24 | PoliticalViews: 101 Baghdad / NINA / The legal expert, Ali Al-Tamimi, said that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's decision to form an investigative committee to look into major and exceptional corruption cases will be a gateway to open important and large files, for example the file of the fall of Mosul, the killing of demonstrators, the waste of public money and the smuggling of money out of Iraq, which is estimated at 500 billion Dollar .. Al- Tamimi explained, in a press statement, that "the formation of this committee conforms to Article 78, which granted broad powers to the Prime Minister, as well as Article 2 of the Cabinet Internal Regulations No. 2 of 2019, as well as the State Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991." He added, "This committee can refer investigative files to the judiciary or the public prosecution," adding that "the cabinet can coordinate with the Judicial Council in establishing a specialized court for investigation and trial, as well as clarifying the source of information and receiving and allowing files." Al-Tamimi stressed that "the files that this committee will consider need confidentiality and coordination with the public prosecution to demand the return of the fugitives and the smuggled money in accordance with the International Interpol agreement, and coordination with the American side in accordance with Article 27 of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement." / End 5 https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?Key=853183

  11. Good Morning Dinar Vets, here's several opinions & comments that might be of interest to you. Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** Jeff *** Iraq is on what's called the OFAC list. That's why most major banks are not dealing with it...Citibank is and has been selling Iraq's currency...most major banks today do not sell Iraq's currency. Wells Fargo, Chase, B of A do not sell Iraq's currency (although they did in the past) and the reason why is Iraq is on the OFAC list. The OFAC list it's not so much sanctions per se, it's more of a list of countries thought...to support terrorism. So because Iraq is on that list the major banks do not want to sell currencies of countries that are know to support terrorism. By their choice they do not sell and exchange Iraq's currency. But again, Citibank does sell IQD... I thought that it was stated in the past that Iraq was removed from the OFAC list...I'll try to find out for certain and let everyone know...RON

  18. It was a labor of love and giving back. My last 10 years I got to coach a travel team of some of the best High School players in the Houston area. i was also a Scout for the Atlanta Braves. I still owned a business so I was getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night in season. My players played so hard and loved playing the game. They truly inspired me. That’s why I’m so angry at the walking off the field last night. Just go play a great game and leave the politics to DC. I loved hearing about your triple play. I never got one of those.. HaHa. I was a pitcher. My deal was kkkkkkkkk’s.

However, if " NEXT " be Next, referenced as in September, well no worries, another month full of excuses will surely be the order of the day. I'll hack on these fools, don't care what folks think. Anyone been in this as long as I have, has seen a great big hairy fur ball of a corrupt Shyte show. . . and the corrupt are STILL sand bagging while Iraq withers. If the meeting with Kaz & Trump had NOT had the outcome it did, well I guess Iraq is a High Stakes game and " its just to big to allow to fail in spite of the (J)erk offs running it " ? ; the outcome is still in doubt - What a mighty uphill battle Kazemi has. 24. "Serious move this time .." Hezbollah newspaper: The Saudis are in Baghdad to keep Iran away ... and Tehran 'understands' Al-Kazemi's position! 2020.08.30 - 13:28 People - Baghdad On Sunday, a press report dealt with the file of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia after the meeting in Baghdad with the Saudi Foreign Minister, while he believed that the visit might witness a remarkable development at the level of the electrical connection file. The report, which was published by the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Akhbar newspaper under the title “The Saudis in Baghdad to Drive Tehran away,” which was followed by “People,” (August 30, 2020), indicated that the Iranian administration “understands” the man’s movement and considers it appropriate at this precise time. The region passes by. " The following is the text of the report: After completing his two visits to the Iranian capitals, Tehran and the American, Washington, all eyes turn to the visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which is expected to take place within the next few weeks, after it was postponed last July, due to the deterioration of King Salman's health Abdel Aziz, according to what was announced at the time. The upcoming visit will complete a series of steps that Al-Kazemi started in his endeavor to distance Iraq from the "axes conflicts", as he says, and to achieve a balance in his country's relations with its surroundings, without relying on one camp at another expense. And this is a tactic that "does not arouse Tehran's anger," according to informed sources, pointing out that the Iranian administration "understands" the movement of the man, and considers it "appropriate at this precise timing that the region is going through." Al-Kazemi had received, the day before yesterday, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, where he described Riyadh as a "true partner for Baghdad," indicating that "Iraq is looking forward to building distinguished relations with Saudi Arabia, based on the deep legacy of the historical ties that bind the two countries," stressing The importance of activating the decisions of the "coordination committee" between the two sides (it was established during Haider al-Abadi's assumption of the premiership), "in a way that secures the interests of the two peoples." For his part, Bin Farhan pointed out that his country "looks with caution and attention to its relations with Iraq, and is looking forward to strengthening and consolidating joint cooperation and activating the agreements concluded between the two sides." While Al-Kazemi discussed with the Saudi delegation the economic cooperation between the two countries, and ways to achieve a balance in oil production, in a way that reduces the economic burden on Iraq, especially in light of the low global oil prices, the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, his Saudi counterpart, briefed the results of Al-Kazemi's visit to Washington, And the outcomes of the tripartite summit between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan, which was held in Amman a few days ago. Likewise, the first meeting of the "Economic, Trade, Investment, Development and Relief Committee" emanating from the "Iraqi-Saudi Coordinating Council" was held in Baghdad, headed by the Iraqi Minister of Planning Khaled Battal. A statement by the Ministry of Planning stated that the meeting reviewed the "positive results" of the Iraqi delegation’s visit to Saudi Arabia last July, pointing out that “the Saudi side has a great desire to open broad horizons of cooperation with Iraq in various commercial, investment, industrial and agricultural fields. And service ». Battal announced that «there are a number of agreements that will be signed between Iraq and Saudi Arabia after approval by the parliament», adding that «the Iraqi side will present a set of proposals to the Saudi side, including the possibility of financing stalled projects, including housing complexes and service projects in the sectors of health, education, water and sanitation. Health. " According to "Al-Akhbar" information, this time, a serious project is being printed to connect part of the Iraqi electrical network to the energy system of the countries of the "Gulf Cooperation Council", in light of expectations that the summer of 2021 will witness development in this regard, represented, in particular, by an increase in the number of Hours of electrical recharge in the southern governorates in particular. Given Washington's urgency to complete this project, many associate it with the ongoing US attempts to distance Baghdad from Tehran and tighten the screws on the latter.

Sunday, 30 August 2020 03:35 PM An American study compares the situation in Iraq from 2003 until now FacebookTwitterEmailWhatsApp A study by the "Brookings Center" for Policy Research revealed that 2020 is the safest year for Iraq as it described it since 2003. The study reviewed statistics regarding the number of civilian deaths, the Iraqi national income, the perception of safety between Sunnis and Shiites, the number of internally displaced persons, and the number of army forces, from 2003 to 2020. Robert Golub and Michael O'Hanlon, who oversaw the study, said that the data show that Iraq "It remains a troubled ground, but it has improved a lot according to most indicators, at least for now, compared to previous periods." The introduction to the research stated that the positive improvement is that "Iraq has gradually become a middle-income country, with a marked improvement in the quality of life in recent times, despite the continuing spread of corruption, the scarcity of job opportunities for young people, and sectarian pressures (often ignited by Iran) that threaten to boil over. 29. How can anyone vote for this party? What has got to be wrong in your head to make you think these people are good for America?

  30. Wrong. When law enforcers are unable to do their job then the citizenry has the duty to become the enforcers. Otherwise you will have complete tyranny. So you don't think that a 17 yr old has a developed enough brain to help protect his community. When in less than a yr when he's 18 that same kid will have developed his brain enough to put a fully automatic M16A2 in his hands and send him off to Iraq or Afghanistan to intentionally kill people in the name of providing security for America. And I guess you prefer idiots running through your community burning down anything they want. It's this kind of lackadaisical, let someone else take care of the problem, attitude that has brought America to her knees. Back in my day if an ******* jumped up and opened their mouth with stupidity someone shut it for him. But today's pansy whammy would rather sit back and be a Monday morning quarterback pretending to have all the answers. Take a guess what's gonna happen when those uneducated, indoctrinated collage idiots come into my community and make themselves a threat to my family. See we can agree on some things And don't be such a tenderfoot and not realize that was a joke.
