  1. Hey hey it's Wednesdayyyyy! It will be afternoon by the time I get this posted, so - Good Afternoon, or evening, wherever you may be! This was a strange week for me - I almost got the Weekly posted a day early! That turned out to be wishful thinking, as my phone ended up ringing off the hook all day and I just couldn't quite get to writing this up. Nevertheless, here we are! Every week here at DinarVets, a group of us enter our powerball numbers into the "Pool" (join us here this week). It occured to me this week, as I bought my lottery ticket, that I don't expect to win the lottery. I don't expect anyone else here to win it, either, but I still buy the tickets and enter my numbers in the Pool, because there's always a chance... and if we don't play, we can't win. The Powerball is a random chance. It's highly unlikely to land in our laps, no matter how long we wait. Nobody in our group is likely to win it, but we keep on plugging those numbers in there. There is a chance. My thought process on the Iraqi Dinar is much different... I fully expect to cash in on that one. When I bought Iraqi dinar for the first time, I will admit that I was not nearly as knowledgeable about it as I am today. Over the years, I have continued to learn about it, educating myself and sharing that education, and I am more confident than ever that this will end with a good profit. The year 2020 continues to shape up as a GREAT year for it, too! Right now in particular, many of you probably noticed how the "news" sounds... none of the squawk boxes are chattering about Iraq. Iraq was not mentioned once in my daily morning news feed... and that's just the way I like it. It was just a couple weeks ago that Iraq was in the spotlights, right next to Iran, but as of this morning - not a peep about the middle east. At least, not in the MSM. Here on DV, we have better sources and a more refined "ear" for what's going on! A couple of examples from the forums here: For example, it's looking more and more like one of the Allawi's will be appointed PM. My vote would be for the one that Maliki likes the least, but I don't get a vote in that. LINK. There is a bit of talk about the USofA interfering, influencing, or otherwise controlling Iraq. This holds some truth, such as what we see here. My opinion is that Trump may not be directly responsible for Iraq's RV, but Iraq is being pushed to move away from Iran, and that is a good thing. Articles like these are pretty solid evidence that Iraq wishes to stay on our good side, and all that nonsense about Iraq "wanting US troops out immediately" was just that: nonsense. More evidence on how Iraq feels about the US: There's more, of course.. but that's enough for now. My friends, this situation is unfolding before our eyes... I have a strong feeling that the Dinar news is going to get much more exciting, very soon. I'll be here as it happens! - Adam

  2. Tonight my friend told me a little about his experience in Najaf in 2003-2004 when he was an “S2” translator/interrogator (I hope I’m saying that correctly.. maybe an Iraqi veteran can correct me if I’m wrong). Anyway,, His dislike for Sadr is obvious he said we (the US), should have killed him back then. He said the Marines and Army were closing in on Sadr in 2003-2004 in Najaf and just about to take him out, as he was hiding in a shrine in the old part of Najaf. Sistani had been away in another Country recovering from an illness and returned to Najaf and convinced the US forces not to go into the holy shrine and pull back due to the bad image of killing him in a holy place.. Then Sadr left and went to Iran. so anyway I thought that was interesting.. I like hearing about his first account experiences.

  3. Right back at ya NEPatriotsFan1. I wholeheartedly agree with you. Trump is a business man and moves and makes deals. He isn’t a politician and doesn’t need any banker to back him, and a lot of people just don’t get it/like it. But the fact of the matter is; Trump gets things done. Point blank. And for what he has accomplished under the scrutiny of stupidity has been absolutely amazing. He still blows deals out of the water and makes things better in the midst of chaos.

  5. I’ve been saying it since 2009 and I’ll keep saying it. Donald Trump will help get this done. And once this RI/RV is done, it will flood the world market and America with jobs. The middle class will have more job opportunities which will be looked at as Trump making it happen in America. A lot of people have no clue about this investment in this country. But when it goes down and the US economy gets even better, especially for the middle class. Trump will get the credit. And he will continue another term in office.

  14. 1-23-2020 Newshound Guru Jeff ...one particular guru...is saying that the timing at which they put in the prime minister has everything to do with the timing of the rate change...that basically once they put in a prime minister that roughly within a month that's when the rate is gonna change. That's not the case... Both the demonstrations along with Iran and along with the Prime Minister is just all coincidence. Those scenarios have nothing to do with the timing of the rate change. That's been scheduled since early last year...Who's in charge of the rate change? Donald Trump...(Post 1 of 2).. . more to come. 1-23-2020 Intel Guru Frank26 ...President Trump is more deeply involved in monetary reform of the dinar in Iraq...what if he told the Central Bank of Iraq it's time for you to stop using the American dollar. Play fairly. Does that sound familiar? The way that you do that is stopping your auctions...IMO what Donald Trump did with the central bank of Iraq just recently was to give them a time-frame that specified a date with a "no later than " end date... I wonder where these guys come up with these outrageous opinions. If the American President had the power to cause any RI/RV obama would have done it and pat himself on the back...! JMHO ..... RON

LINK Construction: Saleh went to Davos to take American light on the name of the government candidate 17:31 - 01/22/2020 The Building Alliance attributed, on Wednesday, the President of the Republic, the postponement of submitting the name of the candidate until after his return from the Davos conference and the meeting of the American President that he had taken the green light from Washington about the name of the candidate to announce. "The president of the republic has several names on the table and he did not provide any name, and he preferred to go to the Davos conference and to meet Trump before announcing the candidate," said MP Al-Kanani Ahmad Al-Kanani. He added, "It is expected that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, wants to take the American light around a certain candidate during his meeting with Trump, among the names proposed to be announced after his return to Iraq on Thursday." He stated that "the political blocs in the building reject any name nominated by the American side, and the choice must be Iraqi."

  24. American soldiers: Washington is considering deploying the Patriot system in Iraq Politics 01/23/2001 10:01 509 Editor: ha Baghdad today - follow up An American network reported, on Thursday (January 23, 2020), that the Pentagon might deploy the Patriot air defense system in Iraq after the Iranian missile attacks targeting Ein al-Assad and Harir bases in Iraq. The network quoted US military officials as saying that "the Pentagon may deploy an air defense system in Iraq after the Iranian missile attacks that targeted Ein al-Assad bases in Anbar and Harir in Iraqi Kurdistan." News about the deployment of an air defense system comes after several American soldiers were transferred to treatment outside Iraq due to concussion injuries from the impact of Iranian missiles that did not kill any American soldier. A senior Pentagon official told "Fox News" that they "believed that Iran was unlikely to launch a ballistic missile attack." He added, "It is now possible that the US Patriot air defense system be deployed to protect the bases that include American forces in Iraq." US President Donald Trump, in a speech Wednesday at the Davos Economic Conference, reduced the severity of the injuries suffered by American soldiers as a result of the Iranian strikes. "I heard they (the soldiers) had a headache and some other things. But I can say it is not dangerous," Trump said. The American army did not drop any of the Iranian missiles that were fired into Iraq because it did not have an air defense system in the region. LINK

  30. Allawi Kazowie Howie - So Have We Used Up Our Allowance For All Of The Allawi’s Allowed In This ‘Ali Allawi For PM’ Thread Yet ? LINK The Office Of "Iyad Allawi" Denies The News Of His Death And Accuses Him Of Trying To Assassinate Him 22nd January, 2020 Media office of the leader of the Iraqi coalition, Iyad Allawi, denied the news that he died of a stroke. The office stressed in a statement of its independent follower that “this news is completely false from health, and Allawi is in good health and stands with the people of our people who are strongly uprising, and who reject foreign hegemony, whether regional or international”, calling for the accuracy of transferring information, and confirmation before transferring it. The statement accused the intelligence of neighboring countries, which he did not name, of planning to assassinate Iyad Allawi, pointing out that "prior to the previous attempt to assassinate him in London, which led to his hospitalization for more than a year, some radio stations reported that he was killed by gunfire while leaving his residence in London." The statement stated that “the intelligence services of a neighboring country repeat the news of Allawi’s death, and it is she who has been fighting him and standing against him, as recognized by one of its most prominent leaders. Representatives, including prime ministers,” he said.

  34. Member of Parliament Finance reveals in numbers the problems of "catastrophic" in the budget of 2020 and confirms: its great deficit prevent its legislation Politics 01/22/2020 22:07 1410 Baghdad today - Baghdad Member of the Finance Committee in Parliament, MP Adnan Al-Zorfi, revealed on Wednesday (22/2-2020), the problems accompanying this year's budget, which he described as catastrophic, indicating that it cannot continue to work according to the 2019 budget with spending and implementation in 2020. "We have started preparing the 2020 budget since June of last year, and the government has failed to distribute the total revenue to general expenses," Al-Zrafi said, while hosting him in the "Point of View" program , presented by Dr. Nabil Jassem on the screen of (Degla Satellite). He added that "the financing of the 2019 budget amounted to 116 trillion, while oil revenues were 78 trillion + 6 million from local revenues, which caused a deficit to fill the surplus left by the previous government of Haider al-Abadi, amounting to 17 trillion." And that "there is an inflated spending problem in the ministries in the 2020 budget, which is more than what was in the 2019 budget, and this is the reason for delaying its dispatch to Parliament." He pointed out, "We cannot continue to work according to the 2019 budget with spending and implementation in 2020, and the year must open with a new budget law because there are problems and changes that occurred." He pointed out that "there is random spending in ministries this year and the appointments announced by the government will cause a financial collapse in the event of an economic problem in Iraq." On the other hand, the deputy for Al-Nasr coalition said that "the allocations for appointments at the Ministry of Electricity within the budget amounted to 360 billion dollars," noting that "there are no funds allocated for that." And he added, "The Ministry of Electricity requested 5 trillion dinars from the Iraqi Bank of Trade to finance projects because the value of what is allocated is zero in the 2020 budget." He pointed out that "the large financial deficit in the 2020 budget amounted to 48 trillion, which is the real reason that prevented the transmission of the budget by the government." He continued, "There are no sources through internal or external borrowing to cover the deficit." He said, "The salaries of employees in the 2019 budget amounted to 55 trillion and it is possible that the budget in 2020 will reach 69 trillion." He pointed out that "oil exports could supply 89 trillion dinars to the state, which means that salaries will run out of a large part." The deputy warned that "the amount of spending can reach 120 trillion dinars in the budget for the current year, which means that imports will not cover the size of operating spending and salaries because the incoming will not exceed 90 trillion." He noted that "no real projects were paved for roads and electricity in the 2019 budget despite the allocation of funds from among external loans and we do not know where the money went, those involved may be some ministers." Earlier today, Ahmed al-Kinani, a member of the Al-Fateh coalition, revealed the size of the fiscal deficit in the 2020 budget. Al-Kanani said to (Baghdad today), that "the budget deficit of Iraq for the current year 2020 will reach 48 billion dollars, which is a large and staggering number that requires the government and in coordination with the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives to find fast and urgent mechanisms to fill the deficit in it through internal loans or Foreign . He added, "The deficit that will occur in the budget, we must find solutions because the figure announced in the 2020 budget is large and very dangerous." link

  36. Saleh from Davos: Violence has killed more than 600 protesters Policy 2020-01-22 | 13:12 Source: Alsumaria news 11,595 views On Sunday, President of the Republic Barham Saleh confirmed the killing of more than 600 innocent peaceful demonstrators, and while he indicated that the coalition led by the United States and Iran had a pivotal role in the war against "ISIS", he considered that Najaf is a base of moderation, tolerance, and harmony between Iraqis and a defender of sovereignty Iraq. Saleh said in a press conference held in Switzerland on the sidelines of the Davos Economic Forum and followed by Alsumaria News, "It is devastating and painful that the violence committed by the outlaws led to the death of more than 600 innocent peaceful demonstrators." Saleh added that "Iraq owes gratitude to the international coalition led by the United States, especially for the military and economic support it provided, and is still providing this coalition, in the war against ISIS," stressing by saying, "The military coalition led by the United States was essential in providing Iraqi forces." Appear victorious in that existential battle. " However, he added, "Iran also played a pivotal role in the war against ISIS, and we share with the Islamic Republic deep ties in terms of geography, water resources, economy and religion." Saleh continued, "We have benefited throughout these difficult times from the wisdom and direction of the Marjaiya in Najaf, especially His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, whose leadership in our darkest days was crucial, and it helped to deliver Iraq to safer beaches," considering that "Najaf is the pillar of moderation." Tolerance and harmony among Iraqis and an advocate for the sovereignty of Iraq. I am sure I speak for you all when I say that I pray for his speedy recovery. LINK Deputy: The political blocs will continue to meet during the legislative recess to choose the prime minister 16:57 - 01/22/2020 The deputy of the Al-Hikma stream, Asaad Al-Badri, affirmed on Wednesday that the political blocs will continue their meetings during the legislative holiday to choose the personality of the new prime minister, while the competition circle is limited to Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi and Mustafa Al-Kazemi. Al-Badri said in a statement to "Information", that "the legislative holiday is necessary because any decision during which he votes can be appealed before the Federal Court," noting that "the holiday will be used politically by holding meetings to choose the personality of the Prime Minister." He added that "the circle of competition for the position of prime minister has become confined between Allawi and Al-Kazemi, and the political blocs may reach a final agreement in the coming days on one of the personalities," noting that "Allawi is the closest to taking over the position of prime minister." And that "the first sessions of the new legislative term will be devoted to voting on the mandate of the new prime minister and the receipt of the federal budget bill for 2020". And the parliamentary legal committee indicated, yesterday, Tuesday, that extending the work of the parliament without taking the legislative holiday is unconstitutional, while he made it clear that the presidency of the parliament will start implementing the legislative holiday early next month.
