  1. Ya'll I'm thinking this will have struck the Mullah's to the Core! Soleimani was their protection, he kept them in power. I would say he was at least the 3rd most powerful man in Iran. IMO, there are a lot of people scrambling in Iraq and Iran right now, probably thinking they are going to be next. I wish Maliki would have been in that Convoy, but I still think he must know his corruption is World Known and his days may be numbered. the Arrest of Amari and Khazali is just a Good start.

  4. Iran-backed militia leader reported dead after strike at Baghdad airport In this photo from social media, a burning car is shown after a rocket attack on the Baghdad International Airport on Jan. 3, 2020. IRAQ MINISTRY OF DEFENCE/FACEBOOK By CHAD GARLAND | STARS AND STRIPESPublished: January 2, 2020 An early-morning strike hit the Baghdad International Airport perimeter, near the air cargo terminal, the Iraqi government said Friday. The attack, which set two cars ablaze, apparently occurred at about 1 a.m. Social media users posted hearing the explosions, then the sounds of military aircraft. The Iraqi defense ministry’s security information cell confirmed the strike about 45 minutes later, posting photos of the burning vehicles on its Facebook page and attributing the damage to a rocket attack. Later, security sources told local media a strike hit two vehicles, killing Mohammed Redha, a senior member of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units — an umbrella group that includes Iran-backed Shiite militias with close ties to Iran and other militias that have fought the Islamic State group since 2014. Other PMU members and “guests” were also killed, the PMU said. Initial reports were unclear on whether there was a rocket attack and a separate counter-strike targeting the vehicles. The U.S.-led coalition did not immediately respond to an inquiry on the matter. The reported strike occurred hours after Defense Secretary Mark Esper urged Iran and its proxies to end malign behavior in the region, where tensions between Washington and Tehran have been rising since May. “We will not accept continued attacks against our personnel and forces in the region,” Esper said in a statement on Thursday. “Attacks against us will be met with responses in the time, manner, and place of our choosing.” The Pentagon has blamed a PMU militia called Kataeb Hezbollah, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization strongly linked with Iran, for a series of rocket strikes targeting bases housing U.S. troops throughout the country. As of Saturday, there had been 11 such rocket attacks since October — including two on an installation located next to the Baghdad airport in early December. Those attacks wounded several Iraqi troops, prompting U.S. officials to call on Iraq to do more to prevent them and warning of decisive action if such attacks continued. Last Friday, a rocket strike on the K1 base in Kirkuk left an American civilian contractor dead, and six service members wounded — four Americans and two Iraqis. After that deadly attack, the U.S. launched a series of airstrikes on Sunday targeting bases in Iraq and Syria used by Kataeb Hezbollah. Esper also ordered a contingent of some 750 infantry troops from the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division deployed to the Middle East in response to the increased threat in the region, adding to about 14,000 sent since last summer. More would be on standby to deploy in the coming days, he said. https://www.stripes.com/news/middle-east/iran-backed-militia-leader-reported-dead-after-strike-at-baghdad-airport-1.613351

  9. Iran Quds Force head Qassem Soleimani killed in Baghdad strike — Iraqi TV Powerful leader of Iranian expeditionary force killed in bombing at airport in Iraqi capital, head of Iran-backed militia also assassinated By TOI STAFFToday, 3:16 am 1 89shares Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani, center, attends a meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Revolutionary Guard commanders in Tehran, Iran, September 18, 2016. (Office of the Iranian Supreme Leader via AP) Qassem Soleimani, the powerful head of Iran’s Quds Force, was killed in an airstrike at Baghdad International Airport, Iraqi TV and three Iraqi officials officials said Friday The officials said the strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of Iran-backed militias known as the Popular Mobilization Forces. Soleimani has for years been seen as the architect of much of Iran’s malign activities in the Middle East, including attempts to place a foothold in Syria and rocket attacks on Israel, making him one of Israel and the US’s most sought-after targets. His killing was announced hours after missiles struck at least two cars at Baghdad’s International Airport, killing at least seven people, according to Iraqi officials. This is a breaking news story. 10. Kim prophesied about a future leader of America, and he stated, “I heard gold. I wasn’t sure if this was attached to his name. He will restore the fortunes in this nation because of his brilliance.” Kim went on to say, “This man will throttle the enemies of Israel.” (February 22, 2014) This prophecy was declared one year and 4 months before a political outsider, Donald Trump declared, his candidacy in June of 2015. . Trump subsequently, in a shocking turn of events, came out of nowhere to win the presidential election in November 2016. Fascinatingly, President Trump’s branding for all his properties and assets utilizes gold, a prophetic clue given in code three years ago. On November 22, 2013, another piece to the prophetic puzzle was declared by Kim: “The Dow at 20,000 points. All of this connects to a massive breakthrough with regard to the DINAR.” There is a prophecy given that will illuminate our understanding. On July 18, 2015, further prophetic insight was given connected to the “Dinar” indicating system change and prayers heard from unusual regions and as a result, prosperity for God’s people from places they least expect it: “The Spirit of God is speaking now over the region of Iraq, over the region of Iran, over the regions of the Middle East and southern Asia. I am speaking that I may release resources, and there will be a grave surrender that will take place in the months to come. I want to free you, every one of you, My people, to be able to stretch out their hand to the lonely, to the hungry, to the poor, and feed them and clothe them. This is My desire,” says the Lord. “Therefore, there shall be a break in the financial system in the Middle East, the Dinar.” God said, “When things seem at their worst, I shall bring it forth and I shall free them up. There shall be a prosperity in a place where you least expect it. The prayers of My people in Iran and the prayers of My Christian people that have come forth from Iraq and from Palestine – yes Palestine – and even those regions, I will hear their prayers and I will do something marvelous and will affect this nation,” says the Lord. “You put your hand in the hand of Iran? I say to you, I will remove the hand of America out of the hand of Iran,” says the Lord, “and I will free up My people.” https://www.openheaven.com/forums/topic/trump-dow-20000-and-the-dinar-kim-clements-prophecies-from-a-place/

  13. I sure hope so. The Iranian people don't like their ruthless government and unfortunately, the only way to change it is a revolution. Now, after losing Soleimani, Rouhani has lost even more power/control over his people. He is a liar and a bully. He's been pushing a little harder, bit by bit and until now, has gotten most of the world (EU) to back down. Trump even held back for a while, but Iran finally crossed the line and now needs to be shown that's unacceptable. In my opinon, there's no way Iran, who doesn't even have nuclear weapons, is in a position to take on the strongest army in the world (recently brought back to top operating condition by Trump). And wthout Soleimani, and without the backing of his people, all Rouhani can do is make empty threats. Snake though he may be, he's not stupid and is probably acutely aware of that. And if he does make good on any of his threats and kills any Americans, I'm thinking Trump will just go in and take him out too, even if it means sending US forces into Iran to do it. If that happens, at least it should put the Iranian people in a much better position to form a new government (much like Iraq is doing). So as unsettling as this is, I think Trump did the right thing and I'm grateful he did. I am non-violent by nature, but it's obvious the world just doesn't work that way. Power and greed drive too many people (maybe even most people) to do evil things, so sometimes, you have to go to battle to avert a bigger war. I believe that's what this is. jmho

  18. 1-2-2020 Newshound Guru Breitling ...I've been getting emails of people asking me about the graph from the CBI...it shows the drop in currency...if you go back...what was the value? About $3.25...they had between 1 and a half to 2 billion notes in the market...that was the number that we needed to watch. The chart that you guys are looking at is very important...there it is from the CBI...Look how much the currency has dropped. Here's what we don't know. We don't know how many denominations are out in public. In other words how many 25K notes. How many 10K notes. How many 5K notes. So even though they say they've dropped the note count it doesn't give us enough information to determine how many dinar are out there. But we can see they dropped the note count. It's right there in front of you....(Post 1 of 2)... 1-2-2020 Newshound Guru Breitling ...Every country on the planet that drops their note count what happens to the value of their currency? It goes up...it's universal...they're [Iraq is] dropping their note count...when they drop their note count guess what? The value of their currency goes up. They're putting things in place. The budget depends on investments because they're losing in the commodities market as far as the energy markets go. So they're investing in the international markets. And they're not gonna do that at a ten of a penny...that's what these guys are trying to tell you. So all these indicators are in place. It should make you very very happy...I couldn't be more excited...(Post 2 of 2)... 1-2-2020 Newshound Guru Jeff ...one of the more popular gurus...saying it's gonna change at the beginning of the year and the budget will be implemented at the beginning of the year. I told you guys to be cautious with this type of information because this is over-hyped BS...

  19. Washington is currently working to tighten pressure on Tehran and besiege the Iranian strategy relentlessly by tightening the screws on its armed arms in the region. Possible possibilities in Iraq according to the rule of action and reaction : -The first possibility revolves around the continuation of attacks and counterattacks, but to a limited extent, without turning it into a full-scale US-Iranian war. -The second possibility revolves around a phased political agreement of the American administration through the Iraqi government with Iran to calm things down and neutralize the country. -The third possibility is based on the escalation of clashes to the extent that Washington will carry out in the coming months a wide operation to eradicate the Iranian military force in Iraq. Go USA Go Troops Go Freedom God bless the USA 🇺🇸 🙏🏼

  25. Trump ordered strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qassim Soleimani: Pentagon By Ben Feuerherd January 2, 2020 | 10:25pm Enlarge Image President Donald Trump and Gen. Qassim SoleimaniAP; Reuters The head of Iran’s elite Quds Force was killed in a US rocket strike at Baghdad Airport on Thursday evening in a military action that’s expected to draw swift retaliation from Iran, the Pentagon said. Gen. Qassim Soleimani perished in a rocket attack, the Defense Department confirmed in a statement, referring to him as the leader of a terrorist organization. “At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Pentagon said in a statement. They added that Soleimani was planning attacks on American diplomats and soldiers in Iraq when he was killed. “General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more,” the Pentagon added in the statement. “He had orchestrated attacks on coalition bases in Iraq over the last several months — including the attack on December 27th — culminating in the death and wounding of additional American and Iraqi personnel,” they added. The Pentagon said he also approved the attack on the US embassy last week. President Trump has not commented on the strike, but tweeted a photo of an American flag Thursday night.

  31. LINK Iraqi official: Soleimani was planning to meet five people, one of whom would take over as prime minister 3rd January, 2020 Today, Friday, a senior official revealed new information related to the main reason behind the killing of Qassem Soleimani by the United States, adding that the commander of the Iranian Quds Force came to Iraq for two purposes. "The first goal of Soleimani's visit to Iraq comes to complete the scheme to storm the US embassy in the Green Zone, central Baghdad, after the failure of the first attempt that took place last Tuesday," the official said in a statement to Al-Hurra channel, followed by "Al-Ikhbaria". The Iraqi official, who requested not to be named, added that "Soleimani arrived Thursday evening in Baghdad and was planning to supervise the storming operation on Friday evening." "Soleimani was upset with the resigned Iraqi Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, because he asked the PMF elements to withdraw from the American embassy in Baghdad on Thursday," the senior official said. He emphasized that "the commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, was planning to reintroduce elements of the Iraqi militias loyal to Tehran once again to the Green Zone to implement the storming and control of the American embassy." "In addition to the plot to storm the US embassy in Baghdad, Soleimani was also planning to press for the imposition of a candidate close to Tehran to take over as prime minister," the senior Iraqi official said. He said, "Soleimani was planning to interview five candidates, all of whom are former Minister of Communications Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, former commander of the Counter-Terrorism Agency Abdul-Ghani al-Asadi and current intelligence director Mustafa al-Kazemi." He continued, "The other two names are each of the Iraqi businessman residing in Jordan, Majed Al-Saadi and retired judge Mohammed Al-Uraibi." He emphasized that "the plan requires that the construction bloc led by Hadi al-Amiri present these names to President of the Republic Barham Salih on Friday, with the choice being decided on Saturday and then assigning the new candidate next week after the Iraqi Army holiday, which falls on Monday."

Seizing commercial ships in international waters. Launching drone attacks on S.A. oil refinery. Attacks within the borders of Iraq, all while knowing we have defense agreements with these entities and countries. This will give Iran a bravado excuse to start a war. I say we have already been involved in a war with Iran. Since their proxy soldiers cannot do a thing without Sulimani ie Iran's ok. I don't want this fight as my son is a US Marine , but they are the ones that have been shelling the US Embassy in Iraqs green zone. Its has only been by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that only one US life was lost recently in the rocket attacks and just repairable property damaged. Shock and awe. 38. Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis were killed by strikes near Baghdad airport January 03, 2020 Soleimani was the official of Iran's arms in the region. The official Iraqi channel confirmed the killing of the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and the commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, by the shelling that targeted a convoy near Baghdad International Airport. The channel said that the two men were killed in the bombing that targeted a convoy in the vicinity of Baghdad airport, after sources had reported that eight people were killed in the strikes, including Iranians, Iraqis and Lebanese. A page loyal to the crowd on Facebook said that "the unknown bombing ... targeted two cars on the road to Baghdad International Airport," referring to the killing of Muhammad Ridha al-Jabri, which is what he calls "the honorary circle of the popular crowd." The page, which is called "Clean Brotherhood," added that "Al-Jabri was part of a delegation that welcomed large figures from Iran and Lebanon, and during their exit from the airport, the targeting took place." As for the Iraqi political researcher, Hashem Al-Hashemi, he wrote on his Twitter page that "sources close to the popular crowd confirm that an American plane targeted the leader of the popular crowd, Mohammed Reda Al-Jabri and two of his companions ..". He added that the targets are "from the honorary circle of the popular crowd, Muhammad Reza (Al-Jabri), Hassan Resistance, and Muhammad Al-Shaibani, and 3 guests of Iranian nationality." And quoted by AFP, Iraqi security sources, unnamed, that the fall of the rockets near Baghdad Airport resulted in the "eight dead", but did not reveal their identities. This comes two days after the Popular Mobilization militia attacked the American embassy in Baghdad following American air strikes on bases belonging to the militia of the Hezbollah Brigades, Iraq, which had targeted an Iraqi army camp that includes American soldiers. On Thursday, US Defense Secretary Mark Asper said he expected the pro-Iranian factions in Iraq to launch new attacks on US forces, and said "we will make them regret" them. "We have been witnessing provocations for months," he said, adding that if Washington learned of new attacks in preparation, "we will take precautions to protect American forces and to protect American lives." The US Chief of Staff, General Mark Millie, for his part, confirmed that the US embassy in Baghdad is well protected. Members of the Hashd militia, headed by the Hezbollah Brigades, Iraq, stormed the Green Zone on Tuesday, attacking the American embassy in Baghdad. American strikes targeted bases of the Iraqi pro-Iranian Hezbollah in northern Iraq, killing 25 fighters. The demonstrators withdrew, on Wednesday, from the vicinity of the American embassy after two days of violence, but the target party threatened revenge. The American chief of staff said that the attack by the Hezbollah Brigades on the Kirkuk base was aimed at "killing Americans," adding that "firing 31 shells is not a warning shooting, but rather its aim is to cause damage and death." Esber pointed out that all of this "changed the data (...) and we are ready to do everything necessary to defend our employees, interests and partners in the region." In response to a question about what the Americans are waiting for from the Iraqi authorities, the American officials said that the Iraqi government must do more to protect the American forces. General Milli noted that the Iraqis "have the capabilities to do that (...) The question, of course, about political will, and this is not something we decide." https://www.alhurra.com/a/تأكيد-مقتل-قاسم-سليماني-وأبو-مهدي-المهندس-بضربات-قرب-مطار-بغداد/527676.html

  39. Baghdad rocket attack kills Iranian military leaders including Gen. Qassim Soleimani, reports say Behnam Ben Taleblu, senior fellow for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, weighs in. At least three rockets were fired at Baghdad International Airport Friday killing at least seven people, including Iranian Gen. Qassim Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' elite Quds Force, according to multiple reports early Friday. Soleimani is the military mastermind whom Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had deemed equally as dangerous as Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who died in a strike by U.S.-led forces in October. The strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of Iran-backed militias known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, three Iraqi officials told The Associated Press. Iraqi TV reported the deaths as well. Video Local reporters had suggested that pro-Iran military leaders may have been targeted, but officials have not yet confirmed all of the dead and who may have been behind the attack. An official with an Iran-backed paramilitary group known as the Popular Mobilization Forces told The Associated Press one of the victims was its airport protocol officer, identifying him as Mohammed Reda. Iraq’s Security Media Cell, which released information regarding Iraqi security, said the three Katyusha rockets landed near the cargo hall. Iraqi security also said two cars were on fire. 149 people are talking about this The nighttime attack occurred amid tensions with the U.S. after an Iran-backed militia attacked the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, which was targeted Tuesday by angry mobs who were protesting recent U.S. airstrikes. The two-day siege outside of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad came to an end Wednesday afternoon after dozens of pro-Iran militiamen and their supporters withdrew from the compound. U.S. EMBASSY IN BAGHDAD FIRE DAMAGE SEEN IN NEW PHOTOS FOLLOWING MILITANTS' ATTACK The crisis started early Tuesday, when, in an orchestrated assault, hundreds of protesters stormed the embassy compound, one of the most heavily fortified U.S. diplomatic missions in the world. President Trump, who on Tuesday night vowed that the situation "will not be a Benghazi" -- a pointed reference to the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya on the Obama administration's watch, ordered deployment of about 750 U.S. soldiers to the Middle East. The embassy attack, one of the worst in recent memory, followed deadly U.S. airstrikes on Sunday that killed 25 fighters of the Iran-backed group, the Kataeb Hezbollah. The U.S. military said the airstrikes were retaliation for last week's killing of an another site in a rocket attack on an Iraqi military base, which the U.S. blamed on the militia. Video Secretary of Defense Mark Esper reacted on Thursday to the U.S. Embassy attack in Iraq earlier this week, saying that it's time for Iran to start "acting like a normal country.” “We are there in Iraq working with our Iraqi partners to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS,” Esper said on “America’s Newsroom” on Thursday. “Through the president's direction, we were able to physically defeat the caliphate that remains physically defeated, if you will," he added. "And now our aim is to deter further Iranian bad behavior that has been going on now for over 40 years. It's time that Iran started acting like a normal country.” The Associated Press contributed to this report https://www.foxnews.com/world/rockets-baghdad-airport-injuries-reported
