Trade Bank of Iraqi will stop all banking services 12/31/2019 to 1/5/2020. Reason given - inventory. The Finance Ministry will suspend the financial exchange, appointments and transfer of employees in all ministries. (The Finance Ministry works in conjunction wit the Central Bank of Iraq and the IMF, per Laid Back.)

I thinks 2020 is our RV year: 1) ..."darkest before the dawn" makes Iraq ripe for stepping up and out of that - 2) ...Iran becoming "mostly irrelevant" setting the stage for Iraq to prosper and outshine them - 3) President Trump! It may well be he will want to take credit for precipitating (in a good way and suddenly) Iraq to RV. Think about that. He is quick to take credit to make himself look good, secure his legacy and smarts, and to get reelected to a second term. So if ever a year is any different than any other year it is this year! When I saw that the Finance Ministry announced, YESTERDAY, that they were going to suspend the financial exchange, etc. it reminded me of last week's article. I went back and re-read it and posted all the facts together regarding the Iraqi Bank of Commerce, The Trade Bank of Iraq and the Finance Ministry. Thanks Man, I had mine for a few years then got on line hearing from all these gurus that this was the weekend and all. I then got off the net for a while then found this site. Read Adams stuff and game plan and said to myself that this guy has done his homework and I am in on all but OGIT. Same here, I will be at every party i am invited to. I have met some great people here and I am for sure going to foster those relationship and build on those connection, business adventures and some philanthropic ventures as well.

Oops! I realize now that the banks will reopen on January 5th, not 6th as I thought. The 6th is a National Holiday in Iraq, so I don't know if they will open on the 5th, close on the 6th, and reopen on the 7th. Who knows? Anyway, it looks like we only have to wait 4 more days to see what's up. (I think I'm too anxious. LOL LOL)

What Jeff fails to mention is that under Saddam, after he invaded Kuwait, Saddam Dinars (old IQD) were substituted and forced to be used - and he stole their KWD Plates. The KWD value plummeted, and became almost worthless, but the official rate never changed. Once liberated, new KWD plates were made and a new currency was printed. When issued, they exchanged the old notes for the new ones at one to one, but the pre-Saddam rate was restored, then it went crazy from there because the Kuwaiti CBI hadn't planned on what speculators would do before they regained control and settled in to it's current value range.
