  2. More useless info from my Shia friend.. He was very happy today and believes that change will finally take place. He said Sistani came out supporting the protestors and this was a Huge deal.. He said Sistani is almost always neutral when it comes to Government issues and usually has one of his assistance read his statements, but this time it is different.. He came out himself siding with the people and this is a major turning point psychologically for the Iraqi people he said.. My friend said we will see what this brings around the beginning of 2020. He also said there are rumors that the US will help in a coup.. I guess we will see if this turns out to be true.. So there you go, thoughts and opinions from my Iraqi friend/coworker..

This process had to begin and now we must wait and watch it all play out before the CBI makes its next move.

  8. 11-19-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...Did the CBI just end the currency auctions? …Let this news play out and see if, in fact, the currency auctions do continue and are picked back up and the buy and sell rates change. Or will this finally be the end and the reinstatement is just around the corner? ...if they are exchanging very limited dinars for US dollars via the currency auctions, then how can the banks continue in business? Could this mean "reinstatement" time...finally to get out of this situation? We know this was on the very first list of demands from the demonstrators so let's see what happens...(post 1 of 2)... This article was posted in Sunday Midight from a Saturday article in Iraq - Article: "The sale of dollars in the central bank stopped blocking the arrival of large fake funds to Iran" - Mtn Goat is referring to this in her post above and she states we are to wait and see what happens. Well, The CBI held auctions Sunday, Monday, ans a Double auction on Tuesday - all high total sales (199,713,022 - 247,900,733 - 265,804,308 - 258,026,494). It doesn't appear they have stopped anything, unless these are the last auctions to try to keep the Market rate within the 2%, but I don't see how this would do that. RON 11-19-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...We also just heard this morning 11/18/19 that parliament is going to vote on some needed legislation in regards to these demands. Then out popped an article telling us that the 2020 budget will reach parliament in the next few days or so for the first vote. Oh - boy this could get interesting real fast. But the budget has an implementation date of Jan 1st 2020. Why? Because their fiscal year begins on Jan 1st... The first quarter of their fiscal year is the BEST time to reinstate the currency. ...looks like our early January 2020 date creeps up again. ...I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed this time this is finally the beginning of the end of this Iraqi dinar RV ride...(post 2 of 2)...

  13. I read a story once about a man who was going to die. His Angel came to him and told him because he was very wealthy and kind to the poor that he could bring one thing with him to Heaven. So after he died at the Pearly Gates St. Peter saw that he was struggling with a suitcase. St. Peter asked the man what was in the bag, the man relayed to St. Peter what the Angel told him and said I brought a bag full of GOLD. St. Peter looked at the man in a most confusing manner and asked, Of all the things you could have brought why did you bring paving material? Just a thought

  16. Parliament is holding an evening session today that may witness an unprecedented event Release date:: 2019/11/19 9:06 • 491 times read (Baghdad: Euphrates News) The House of Representatives, its regular session on Tuesday evening. The House session may witness an unprecedented event by voting on an important package of laws at once. The Council is scheduled to vote on six important laws: (Law on the abolition of financial privileges of officials in the state and amend the law of the elections of the provincial councils and the law of unified retirement and health insurance and the amendment of the Commission on Integrity - the first reading of the law) Parliament. The vote coincides with the largest public pressure after 2003, where popular demonstrations have continued in the country since the beginning of last month demanding reforms, fighting corruption and improving the living and service conditions. The pressure prompted 12 political forces at a meeting on Monday to agree on important decisions and recommendations to demand the protesters' demands and ease the crisis. The government, led by Adel Abdel Mahdi, has only 45 days to implement its promised reforms. The meeting was attended by alliance of conquest, victory coalition, the rule of law, the coalition of Iraqi forces, the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the stream of wisdom, the National Coalition, the Salvation and Development Front, the National Tender Bloc, the National Contract Block and the Turkmen Front, and the absence of the Alliance. Participants in the meeting agreed on six resolutions and recommendations in addition to five important proposals, while threatening to withdraw confidence from the government and hold early elections if it shows the inability of the government or the House of Representatives to implement the articles and steps mentioned within the timings indicated.

  18. Trump adviser to Twilight News: Washington may impose sanctions on names in the New York Times report 2019/11/18 12:29:57 Gabriel Souma, a member of President Donald Trump's advisory board, said Monday that the administration would impose sanctions on the New York Times. "The American administration has not been surprised by the report," Soma told Shafaq News. "US intelligence knows a lot about what is said in the report. It has the perception and diagnosis of Iranian hegemony in Iraq, so the report did not come as a surprise." He pointed out that "it is not excluded that the US administration to impose sanctions on the figures mentioned in the report of the New York Times, but it does not rely on what is stated in the report, it has more information, and the report mentioned events in 2014 and 2015, and the Penal Code is implemented "It has information on those named and their relationship with the Revolutionary Guards." The New York Times on Monday published leaked classified documents from Iranian intelligence detailing how the regime in Tehran exercises power in Iraq through Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani. The unprecedented leaks reveal Tehran's "tremendous" influence in Iraq, which shows years of hard work by Iranian spies to choose the country's leaders, pay the salaries of Iraqi proxies working for the Americans to change their positions and infiltrate every aspect of political, economic and religious life in Iraq. Iraq. According to an Iranian intelligence cable, the current prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, worked in exile closely with Iran while Saddam Hussein was in power in Iraq. The cable says Abdul Mahdi had a special relationship with Iran's Revolutionary Guards when he was oil minister in 2014. According to the newspaper, one of the former senior US officials warned of his current downfall, "but no Iraqi politician can become prime minister without the blessing of Iran. When he became prime minister in 2018, he was seen as a compromise candidate acceptable to both Iran and the United States. According to the newspaper, leaked Iranian intelligence reports largely confirm what was already known about Iran's firm grip on Iraqi politics, but the reports reveal much more than previously known about the extent of Iran and the United States used Iraq as a starting point for espionage. The reports highlighted the complex domestic policy of the Iranian government, where rival factions are grappling with many of the same challenges faced by US occupation forces as they struggle to stabilize Iraq after the US invasion. The documents show how, at almost every turn, Iran has outperformed the United States in the competition for influence. The archive consists of hundreds of reports and leaks written mainly in 2014 and 2015 by Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security officers, who were working in the field in Iraq. According to the newspaper, Iraqi-Iranian meetings were held in dark alleys, shopping malls and Christmas camouflage parties, and documents show intelligence operations in order to take pictures of US soldiers and coalition forces against ISIS and gifts and buy receivables arrived to Kurdish security leaders. The archives obtained include Iranian intelligence reports written in 2014 and 2015 by Iranian intelligence officers working in Iraq. An Iranian intelligence report says former Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi "has a close relationship" with Iran. Iranian intelligence reports show that Tehran's goal is to keep Iraq from failing, stop the growth of Sunni militancy on the border with Iran, stop any civil war that makes Shiites its victims and prevent the independence of Kurdistan, which destabilizes the region while keeping Iraq as a satellite state. The newspaper says Iran has wooed most CIA agents left behind by Washington in 2011 who feared retaliation and told Tehran everything they knew about CIA operations in Iraq. Former CIA agents provided Tehran with information about the agency's secret sites, the names of hotels where the agency's foreign agents were staying, details of weapons and training, and the names of Iraqis working for the agency. 24. It would appear that the entirety of the Middle East is about to implode. Lebanon is about to collapse. BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,348, November 18, 2019 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Israel’s neighbor to the north is gripped by a popular uprising that many fear could lead to civil war. Faced with the spectacle of hundreds of thousands of citizens protesting in the streets of Lebanon, PM Saad Hariri has submitted a letter of resignation to Lebanese President Michel Aoun. For the past weeks the streets of Lebanon have been aflame. The country has been paralyzed despite the prognostications of all the experts who thought the demonstrations would wither away swiftly. What they failed to grasp is that what is at hand is a popular revolt against the corrupt and inept political system that has driven Lebanon into a severe economic depression. Lebanon operates like a mafia. Its 128 members of parliament, as well as its cabinet ministers, plunder the public coffers via an intricate web of businesses, hotels, shops, and real estate holdings they run on the side. There is no real separation between the political systems and the tycoons. In Lebanese politics, if you can attain a public/government position you’re going to be rich. The Lebanese people have finally had enough and unleashed mass protests against the rampaging corruption while putting forth specific demands. These include the resignation of the entire political leadership, including the PM, president, chairman of the parliament, and all ministers and members of parliament – in other words, a complete overhaul. Until elections can be held, they are demanding that the politicians be replaced by independent technocrats who have had nothing to do with Lebanese politics going all the way back to the Civil War of 1991. A small number of families have controlled Lebanon for a long time, and they have become indescribably wealthy and thoroughly corrupt. Take, for example, the family of President Michel Aoun. His two daughters are employed as presidential advisors. One of their husbands is his foreign minister. The other, who is divorced from the daughter, continues to serve as a consultant. No judge, jury, or media outlet bothers to question this nepotism. That is because Lebanon is made up of 18 different communities (the smallest of which, the Jewish, numbers only a few dozen). Almost every community has its own institutions and media outlets, and they are concerned solely with promoting their own members. Government employees are recruited from within each group on the basis of family and personal connections rather than professional qualifications. The entire system is corrupt, including the media and the judicial system, which routinely panders to politicians and their dictates. The demonstrators are also demanding new elections and the establishment of an oversight body that will include untainted judges who will expose politicians’ secret bank accounts, prosecute corrupt politicians, and return misappropriated funds to the state. Lebanon’s politicians have a long tradition of enriching themselves at the expense of the citizens, many of whom can’t pay their monthly bills. Lebanon is a small country encompassing just over 10,000 square kilometers (3,800 square miles), yet it carries a $100 billion debt. Lebanese banks are unable to meet this debt and are not even able to return interest on their loans. Adding to this problem, the banks have shut down since the beginning of the protests. Complicating the situation even further are the sanctions imposed by President Donald Trump on Lebanese banks for working with Hezbollah and Iran. The entire system is on the verge of collapse. The strength of the protests lies in its being not only a grassroots movement without permanent leadership but also in its representing a stand against all power players, including Hezbollah. One of the most popular slogans of the protest is “Nasrallah is one of them” (i.e., a corrupt politician). This sentiment was expressed after the Hezbollah leader gave two speeches in which he threatened the demonstrators and falsely accused them of taking funds from foreign agencies. Hezbollah operatives have tried to intimidate the demonstrators, but the Lebanese police intervened to defend them. Nasrallah has not yet succeeded in shaking the resolve of the demonstrators. Some demonstrators tried to burn the Israeli flag but were stopped by other protesters. “We are demonstrating against corrupt politicians. We must not lose focus,” they said as they put an end to the flag-burning. The protests are having an impact. The attempts to smear Israel as being behind the movement have failed. The PM resigned in a show of support for the demonstrators, leaving the other politicians in serious trouble. No one has a solution, and the people in the streets of Lebanon are boiling mad. The future is unclear, and another civil war may well be on the horizon. One thing seems clear – the Lebanese are not giving up anytime soon, and they appear willing to go all the way to bring about radical change in their country.

  27. Thank you for the compliment. I truly believe that people forget the purpose of two party system and that's why they try to demonize each other. The president is supposed to be a representative of all the people not just one party. His purpose is to reach across the aisle and try to make compromises for the good of all the people. Now it's fair to say that when the president is a Republican then the Republican party may get some favoritism and vice versa. That's human nature I guess. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if one party ruled and no compromises were made. I mean, we are seeing a glimpse of it now and it isn't good. For anyone. Have great night!

  29. Iraqi blocs sign a document reforms give the government and parliament 45 days November 18, 2019 Banners condemning Iran's followers in Iraq Iraqi parties and political blocs, meeting on Monday, signed an agreement to implement a number of measures and decisions, in the face of protests since October 1, and demand the departure of the ruling elite, according to a document published by local media. The document signed by 12 political entities highlighted the pledge to amend the electoral law to provide equal opportunities for independent candidates, the formation of a new election commission and a broad ministerial reshuffle "on the concepts of quotas." The signatories urged the government and security agencies to "identify those involved in the kidnapping of demonstrators and continue the effort to discover those involved in hunting and killing demonstrators and targeting the media." The political blocs gave the government and parliament 45 days to implement the reforms contained in the document. The signatories to the document represent most of the main currents participating in the government and parliament since 2003, including the Fatah Alliance led by Hadi al-Amiri, and the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki. More than 300 people were killed and thousands more injured during the demonstrations, which began on the first of last October, as a result of the security forces using excessive violence against the demonstrators. The meeting comes in conjunction with the publication of leaked Iranian documents revealing the extent of Tehran's extensive intervention in Iraq, through spies penetrating into the political, security and military institutions in Iraq.

They eradicate History so even the mildly curious they are trying to co-opt cannot understand that their evil agenda is enslavement of humanity and leads to the complete breakdown of society, so THEY can step in and claim to "fix it" & "take care" of you. The worse they can make society, the quicker they can step in and claim to "save" you. MAKE NO MISTAKE: All this disgusting manifestation of their evil is purely by their design. They WANT this breakdown in Rule of Law & social norms. High on their list of how to take over is to first "create chaos".

  35. Most Americans have been wondering if and when we would see some of the Obama officials involved in the coup against President Donald Trump brought to justice. While Attorney General William Barr is getting to the bottom of how the Russia witch hunt began, a new bombshell report about former CIA Director John Brennan is sending shockwaves. According to a column from Larry C. Johnson, who is a former analyst at the CIA, Brennan created a secret task force to combat the election of Trump. ***TRENDING POLITICS READERS: Choose Your FREE Trump Gift Here*** Johnson says the “invitation-only” task force was created in early 2016. Johnson says the average American has no idea how badly Brennan wanted to stop Trump because he desperately wanted to get Hillarious Clinton into the White House. Brennan was so desperate, according to Johnson, that it led to him creating this secret task force with the mission of spying on and carrying out covert actions against the campaign of then-candidate Trump. He goes on to say this task force was not just a simple gathering of anti-Trump intel officials, but rather highly trained spies who sought to destroy Trump. Johnson writes: I am told by an knowledgeable source that Brennan created a Trump Task Force in early 2016. It was an invitation only Task Force. Specific case officers (i.e., men and women who recruit and handle spies overseas), analysts and admin personnel were recruited. Not everyone invited accepted the offer. But many did. This was not a CIA only operation. Personnel from the FBI also were assigned to the Task Force. We have some clues that Christopher Steele’s FBi handler, Michael Gaeta, may have been detailed to the Trump Task Force. So what kind of things would this Task Force do? The case officers would work with foreign intelligence services such as MI-6, the Italians, the Ukrainians and the Australians on identifying intelligence collection priorities. Task Force members could task NSA to do targeted collection. They also would have the ability to engage in covert action, such as targeting George Papadopoulos. Joseph Mifsud may be able to shed light on the CIA officers who met with him, briefed on operational objectives regarding Papadopoulos and helped arrange monitored meetings. I think it is highly likely that the honey pot that met with George Papadopoulos, a woman named Azra Turk, was part of the CIA Trump Task Force. The Task Force also could carry out other covert actions, such as information operations. A nice sounding euphemism for propaganda, and computer network operations. There has been some informed speculation that Guccifer 2.0 was a creation of this Task Force. Johnson goes on to discuss the recent “unmasking” of Schiff’s secret “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella, and how he could have played a vital role in this “task force.” Johnson argues that while what Brennan allegedly did was illegal, the CIA has carried out other illegal acts in the name of supposedly “protecting American interests.” VOTE NOW: Is Trump Worthy Of A Second Term? These explosive allegations serve as another reminder of what Obama-era officials were willing to do in order to take down Trump and stop him from becoming president. .
