It's 9/11/19... never forget. I have an update, but it won't be posted till tomorrow. In the meantime... ================ Good morning all! 12 September, 2019 as I'm editing this post. September 11 is always a tough day for me personally... Like many of you, I remember exactly where I was. What I felt. How deeply I and my fellow Americans and indeed the world were affected on that day. As important as the Iraqi Dinar RV is to many of us, I simply could not bring myself to post anything other than my heartfelt remembrance yesterday. My heart, prayers, and thoughts will always be with the many who were affected on that day years ago - but today is a new day, and while I/We will never forget... we must move forward. As we move forward, to the present day, where so much has changed and yet so much has not, there is another situation that is taking a lot of my time right now - the devastation left by Hurricane Dorian, particularly in the Bahamas. I've been personally involved with some relief missions over the last week, and I'm continuing to work with a couple of groups that are dedicated to helping the Bahamians long after this current disaster is out of the News. This community has came together in the past to accomplish some amazing things (remember TFYC for Dominica?), and I have confidence that I'll be able to reach out for your support in a couple weeks when I've solidified some things I'm currently working on. Just like our relief efforts for Dominica, I will be personally ensuring that any dollars this group donates will be put to the most efficient possible use, with 0 waste. On to the Dinar! WTI OIL is currently at 54.94 - I don't think I've ever seen an easier chart to read. This is what we call "stabilized": It's been some time since this came up in the news, but I believe it was about 5 months ago I made mention of Saudi Arabia working on playing nice with Iraq again... and what they have to gain by doing so. Saudi Arabia couldn't be bothered to give Iraq the time of day 10 years ago... now, they are changing their tune: Other news that's positive - CBI, IMF, GOI are all active. We are not in one of those vacation-day lulls. Overall, it looks like things should start moving... right in time to hit a mid-September spurt. That's it for now! Going back to June when I started following the first Go Iraq thread, it was focussing on a youtuber whose initials were DI. He was calling for the RV in July and then near the end of July he back peddled and started saying late September. He fell out of favor with many people here, but, I always though he seemed more credible than most of he gurus, so I enjoy reading his updates on the guru sites (he goes by Jeff). 'Billions of dollars' reportedly seized at Dubai International Airport The security authorities at Dubai International Airport reported intercepted a shipment containing a massive quantity of US dollars banknotes. Not much meat here, but thought I’d pass this along nonetheless.. My Iraqi friend says Iraq wants to buy the Russian made S-400 missle defense system. I’m sure the US is not happy about this at all.. maybe one of the reasons Iraq signed 8 deals with China recently.. I guess we will see. To be continued..

Wasn't sure if this was a rumor until I saw it on this thread. Plenty of folks are going to claim this money as their own, but Iraq should get the biggest cut and buy back all of our dinars. All a bit serendipitous regards timing in my mind. This all seems like it was scripted, but who cares at the end of the day? This will be a huge lift to the Iraqi authorities and people. And, Maliki won't be able to cash as many checks, now! So, hop to it and buy back our dinars!

It depends on which direction the jets were flying when the munitions were released. If it had been 1 B-52 releasing the bombs as it flew over then the pattern you described would have been what you expected to see. In the Fighter business, you don not fly straight and level in formation to bomb, because you are exposing yourself to enemy fire. And you never know what defenses your enemy might have. So fighters have various bombing maneuvers where they drop from different direction and altitudes, to keep the enemy off guard and guessing. The highest point frag pattern of a Mark 82, 500 pound bomb explosion is 2525ft above the blast. The first jet can get down low to release his package, but the next fighter has to have a bombing run that will keep him above the frag pattern of the first bomber. The larger the bomb the highest the center overhead frag pattern would be. Don't know what bombs they used, but that is one explanation of why the pattern looked the way it did. Up to this point the CBI had excuse after excuse as to why it could not proceed. We read about all the corruption in the CBI. We heard about the necessity to replace all the proxy positions with permanent positions. Then we watched it happen. The announcement came out about the replace of the director of the CBI and he was supposed to take his position in early September. ...Yes, we still expect the formal announcement of the new Governor of the CBI any day now...

@royboyterry What makes you think 10 more years? What else has to be done in your opinion? Iraq isn't going to bet much more secure. They can't rebuild with their useless currency and payback all the loans they've been getting. Why would countries forgive debts owed to them? Why put articles out about lower notes and coins? Just a few things to think about. We may be closer than you think. I've been in this since 2004 and I completely understand your frustration.

Follow History.....it always repeats itself. The IQD will return to its full glory and in it’s prewar splendor value of new notes and coins. The current notes we hold will have some value, just as the $500.00 dollar American note still does...but the U.S. mint don’t make $500.00 dollar notes anymore, or does it?
