  1. I'm on a multitude of other forums, with subjects on exotic birds, micro-brewed beers, foreign currencies, and street rods. This is the only one that let's someone get away with one-line posts that load up the "What's New" section with literally NOTHING of substance. I pop in here and see nine topics listed currently under "What's New", and they all have the same Avatar under Last Post. I have a special needs step-son, and this is on par with the same type of attention-getting stuff that he does. He wants recognition for every single little thing that he does, regardless of how insignificant it is. If he shuts the patio door when he comes in from the back yard, he stands there and repeats, "Look, I closed the door." until someone says, "Good job.". It was cute when he was 3. He's 16 now... Let's just give Sandfly his award for Most Posts now, and save ourselves from having to see anymore one-line posts that contribute NOTHING to the subject. Maybe that will stop the insanity, and the copy cats that have jumped on his bandwagon...

  3. Be careful......The so called "Guru" Breilting that you are calling out has in fact been the primary if not only "guru" banging the "watch the note count" hammer for over three years straight as an indicator of where we are at in this thing. Secondly, he has also said, which many of us around here also agree, that the CBI is purposely keeping the rate down so that they 1) can rebuild their country on the cheap, no different that Germany post WWII, 2) Offer a greater or more stable new exchange rate having drawn in surplus notes out of circulation, 3) combating corruption by trying to locate embezzled and counterfeit funds while they reduce the note count and 4) they are working on major economic and infrastructure legislation so that they can support the new rate e.g. HCL, Investment Laws, Article VII. So.... the rate would not necessarily be increased by the CBI even though they had achieved a substantial note reduction for the reasons stated above. We are all in this for various reasons. My caution on calling people out is that this practice often shows what we really know and don't know about this speculation. My mother used to tell me when it came to spouting off at the mouth, "it is better to be silent and people wonder if you are a fool than to speak and confirm it." I have tried to live by her admonition and that of Scripture which teaches me to, season my words with grace. None of us are perfect, let's try to give a break to those who are trying to do good. Blessings All,

  5. Marine Vet’s Viral Post Warning ISIS: ‘Attack Us and There Will be No Mercy’ 27,195Shares By Kyle Becker 8 hours ago Marine veteran Nick Powers responded to the brutal murder of American photo journalist James Foley carried out by ISIS/ISIL/IS (whatever they’re named this week). Warning: Strong language. As I sit here constantly hearing and watching you execute innocent men, women and children in the Middle East I chuckle. Why do I chuckle you may ask? Well let me explain something to you cowardice fools who think you are so tough behind all your propaganda videos. You are scaring a population that doesn't know how to fight, you’re bullying the weak. You say Islam is the religion of peace, but since when does terrorizing the innocent and beheading men, women and children constitute peace? WTF? But keep in mind, what did Saddam’s troops do when we came rolling into town? They surrendered, twice… So all your empty threats of coming to America and raising your flag over the White House amuse me more than any of you sick, sadistic bastards could ever imagine or comprehend. In 2012 there was about 21.2 million veterans in the United States. Do you understand what that means? Let me break it down for you. That means there are literally millions of disgruntled, dysfunctional, pissed off veterans who have been dealing with years of abuse from their government stabbing them in the backs and having to watch their friends die because you Islamic extremist idiots can’t seem to act like normal human beings and stop terrorism and the violence. It’s one thing to take over an Islamic state, but if my memory serves me correctly, I’m pretty sure we plowed through Fallujah in 4 days. Better yet, it took us about month to control your entire country. At this point, with 13+ years of war under our belts, how long do you think it would take us to do it all over again? I’ll let you draw your own conclusions on that one. Do you really think you stand a chance on US soil? Do you really think it would be smart to poke that bear? Remember, never bite the hand that feeds you. Remember we are armed to the teeth in the US and I can promise you this… the Geneva Conventions will not apply to you. You attack us and there will be no mercy. We will bring the righteous hand of God down upon you and crush you. The ball is in your court now ISIS. We are more than ready to arrange your so called “meeting” with your 72 virgins and send you to your “prophet” Mohamed. The original post comes “A Subtle Message to ISIS” came via the Warfighter Foundation. American Live Wire carried his disclaimer: UPDATE: To all who read this and assume this is against all Muslims, I am sorry you are too blind to read, this isn’t against Muslims in general. If you feel otherwise I suggest you look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself one question, am I an extremist? You say Islam is the religion of peace, since when does terrorizing the innocent (beheading women and children, wtf?) mean peace? This is directed at all extremist, if this offends/makes you angry or think I am racist you are are probably an extremist… It’s one thing for ISIS to brutally murder innocent women and children, and execute Americans on social media. The terrorist army is fast making mortal enemies around the world, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out this isn't going to end well for them. Editor’s note: This article was updated after the origin of the letter was uncovered.

  6. The Stupendous Reality of Being "In Christ Jesus" A Word for Saturday - 24 August 2014 Being “in Christ Jesus” is a stupendous reality. It is breathtaking what it means to be in Christ. United to Christ. Bound to Christ. If you are “in Christ” listen to what it means for you: 1. In Christ Jesus you were given grace before the world was created. 2 Timothy 1:9, “He gave us grace in Christ Jesus before the ages began.” 2. In Christ Jesus you were chosen by God before creation. Ephesians 1:4, “God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world.” 3. In Christ Jesus you are loved by God with an inseparable love. Romans 8:38–39, “I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 4. In Christ Jesus you were redeemed and forgiven for all your sins. Ephesians 1:7, “In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses.” 5. In Christ Jesus you are justified before God and the righteousness of God in Christ is imputed to you. 2 Corinthians 5:21, “For our sake God made Christ to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 6. In Christ Jesus you have become a new creation and a son of God. 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Galatians 3:26, “In Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.” 7. In Christ Jesus you have been seated in the heavenly places even while he lived on earth.Ephesians 2:6, “God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” 8. In Christ Jesus all the promises of God are Yes for you. 2 Corinthians 1:20, “All the promises of God find their Yes in Christ.” 9. In Christ Jesus you are being sanctified and made holy. 1 Corinthians 1:2, “To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus.” 10. In Christ Jesus everything you really needed will be supplied. Philippians 4:19, “My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” 11. In Christ Jesus the peace of God will guard your heart and mind. Philippians 4:7, “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” 12. In Christ Jesus you have eternal life. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 13. And in Christ Jesus you will be raised from the dead at the coming of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:22, “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.” All those united to Adam in the first humanity die. All those united to Christ in the new humanity rise to live again. How do we get into Christ? At the unconscious and decisive level it is God’s sovereign work: “From God are you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Corinthians 1:30) But at the conscious level of our own action, it is through faith. Christ dwells in our hearts “through faith.” (Ephesians 3:17) The life we live in union with his death and life “we live by faith in the Son of God.” (Galatians 2:20) We are united in his death and resurrection “through faith.” (Colossians 2:12) This is a wonderful truth. Union with Christ is the ground of everlasting joy, and it is free.

  11. Good questions, Theseus. I too used to ponder all of the myriad possibilities of how the IQD supply in circulation translated to a significant upward revaluation that would benefit us as investors in that currency. But, with the logic of the lopsters, which could be true, as well as the unofficial bean counters and rumormongers who take every article coming out of Iraq as some kind of indication that the RV is imminent, I have now adopted the same wait-and-see approach that you advocate. It either will happen to our benefit, or it won't. No amount of speculation one way or the other has had any effect on it in all the years I have been aboard this "ride-to-the-finish." Meanwhile, I choose to visit here daily, glean what is of interest to me from that which is not, and try to have a little fun along the way. It's just my way of maximizing my investment in IQD in ways I never expected when this all began for me. I have yet to have anyone present an answer to the question I posed recently of just where the value of the former Saddam-era Iraq Dinar went when it became virtually worthless during the invasion and war in 2003. In other words, who or what entities actually gained monetarily from all that apparent wealth? Where exactly did it go? Did it just vanish, or did it wind up in the coffers of other countries known and unknown? Was it just a notation on the banker's books, to be corrected at some far off time in the future? If a property I own is devalued as a punitive action against me, and I do what is required to redeem it, there has to be a physical location where it resides while not in my possession. That is what I long to know about the value of the former Iraq Dinar. Once that question is answered, I believe we shall be closer to fully understanding the dynamics of this whole business rather than relying on the guesswork of amateurs posing as the knowledgeable Guru of the Day! Presidential races are no longer about America... our country has devolved to the point that our Presidential elections are all about choosing the best actors or the candidate that promises the most free stuff. Obama proved that twice already.

  17. Again, no problem. The Iraqi dinar prior to, and during the early years of the Saddam regime, did have a true value above that of the US dollar. At that time they were global players in areas of international trade, their main commodity being oil. The country of Iraq has made it well known of their intention to rejoin the globe as they were prior to Saddam. I'm no expert in global economics, in fact, far from it. But I know they can't do this under a dual currency system, and as such, will have to do something about the rate if they hope to get their citizens off of using the dollar. It is my belief, based upon a few years of reading, that that is exactly what they intend on doing and as a result await said change just like you.

They are pressing forward because if they DONT that whole country will fail and the PTB wont let that occur, there is way to much money to be made in Iraq to let them NOT form a government. This is why washington is pushing hard for them and Abadi to get it done. Be very weary of what you read from certain news agencies as well at this time. Also its a possibility Maliki could be behind this. 31. http://news.yahoo.com/iraqi-cleric-urges-leaders-not-delay-government-110553288.html?soc_src=copy BAGHDAD (AP) — Sunni lawmakers pulled out of talks on forming a new Iraqi government after militants attacked a Sunni mosque in a volatile province outside Baghdad during Friday prayers, killing at least 64 people. It was not immediately clear if the attack was carried out by Shiite militiamen or the Islamic State extremist group, which has been advancing into the ethnically and communally mixed Diyala province and has been known to kill fellow Sunni Muslims who refuse to submit to its leadership. But Sunni lawmakers pointed to powerful Shiite militias, and two major parliamentary blocs pulled out of talks on forming a new Cabinet, setting up a major challenge for prime minister-designate Haider al-Abadi, a Shiite who is struggling to form an inclusive government that can confront the militants. The blocs affiliated with Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri and Deputy Prime Minister Saleh Al-Mutlak demanded that outgoing Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and the main Shiite parliamentary bloc hand over the perpetrators within 48 hours and compensate the families of victims "if they want the political process and the new government to see the light of day." The joint statement blamed the attack on "militias" in an apparent reference to Shiite armed groups allied with the government. Sunni lawmakers could not immediately be reached for further comment. An army officer and a police officer said the attack on the Musab bin Omair Mosque in Imam Wais village, some 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of Baghdad, began with a suicide bombing near the entrance, after which gunmen poured in and opened fire on the worshippers. Officials in Imam Wais said Iraqi security forces and Shiite militiamen raced to the scene of the attack to reinforce security but stumbled upon bombs planted by the militants, which allowed the attackers to flee. Four Shiite militiamen were killed and thirteen wounded by the blasts. A total of at least 64 people were killed in the attack and more than 60 wounded. Al-Maliki has called for an investigation. The officials said Islamic State fighters have been trying to convince two prominent Sunni tribes in the area — the Oal-Waisi and al-Jabour — to join them, but that they have thus far refused. Virtually all suicide bombings in Iraq are believed to have been carried out by Sunni militants, but Shiite fighters used the tactic in Lebanon during that country's civil war. In the chaotic aftermath of a major attack it is often not immediately clear how it was carried out or who was responsible. Two medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the media. Since early this year, Iraq has been facing an onslaught by the extremist Islamic State group and allied Sunni militants. The crisis has worsened since June, when the group seized Iraq's second largest city of Mosul, in the north. In Diyala, Islamic State fighters have clashed with Kurdish forces guarding disputed territory claimed by the Kurdish regional government in the north. The extremist group pushed Kurdish forces out of the town of Jalula earlier this month after heavy fighting. The Islamic State group has also clashed with Shiite militiamen and security forces loyal to the Shiite-led government in Baghdad. At the height of Iraq's sectarian bloodletting in 2006-2007 the province was among the country's most lethal areas. If the attack proves to have been carried out by Shiite militiamen it would deal a major blow to al-Abadi's efforts to reach out to the country's Sunni minority, whose grievances are seen as fueling the insurgency. Al-Abadi has until Sept. 10 to submit a list of Cabinet members to parliament for approval, but such deadlines have often passed without action because of political wrangling. On Friday Iraq's top Shiite cleric again called upon national leaders to settle their differences in a "realistic and doable" manner and swiftly form a new government to confront the Sunni insurgency. Al-Sistani warned that politicians' "demands and conditions could derail the forming of the new government." The reclusive cleric's remarks were relayed by his representative, Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaie, during Friday prayers in the Shiite holy city of Karbala. Al-Karbalaie also called for urgent aid to be airlifted to residents of a small Shiite town which has been besieged by Sunni militants in northern Iraq. About 15,000 Shiite Turkmen in the town of Amirli have been under a tight siege and are running out of food and medical supplies. The town is located about 170 kilometers (105 miles) north of Baghdad. The United States launched airstrikes this month to support Iraqi and Kurdish forces looking to reclaim territory seized by the Islamic State group. U.S. Central Command said Friday that it conducted three new airstrikes around the Mosul Dam, where clashes with militants continue nearly a week after Iraqi and Kurdish forces retook the sprawling facility with U.S. air support. Since Aug. 8, the U.S. has launched a total of 93 airstrikes, of which 60 were near the Mosul Dam, Centcom said.

  33. Certainly the predestined grace of God, salvation in Christ, was planned "before the foundation of the world." We have no part in the planning, purpose, or the carrying out of God's predetermined plan. However, grace (of which we can do nothing) is received. It is found "in Christ" and no other. It is the most wonderful gift that mankind ever received. Yet it must be accepted, and entrance into Christ (the grace of God) requires the response of faith (trust) in the Lord on our part. Plus, there are passages of Scripture that tell us how one can enter Christ, that is, "in Christ" where all the blessings can be found. Free will is a blessing from God. We either make a choice of believing in Him as the Salvation of the world, or we reject Him as the Messiah. Doesn't that require a decision on our part? If not, then we have no choice of eternal destiny; we are either bound for heaven or bound for hell and we can do nothing about it. So why did God demand faith in Christ? So the question still remains. How does one get into Christ? Many scriptures were given of the wonderful blessings "in Christ," which were beautiful and desirable. Now, where are the passages which tell us how to get into Christ? If we do "NOTHING." then the commands of God have no value (which I reject).

  36. Thanks RFJ. If what you say is true, then what was the importance of DE-valuing them in the first place? Apparently, those Dinar were worth something to someone other than in-country in Iraq. Otherwise, what purpose could they serve in funding anything Saddam intended using them for? Just asking the question, because it has always been the basis of my getting involved in the IQD in the first place. The premise has always been, at least from my understanding, that the value was removed by the invading coalition forces to prevent their use in mounting an effective defense. I'm simply trying to get to the bottom of what has become a huge mystery to me of just where/who exactly that value went to, and where is it now. If your information is correct and accurate, then this really is a pipe dream! Billio0

  37. After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished. Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, accepting Bin Laden when offered by the Sudan in 1996 for example, an estimated 6,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now injured or dead would be alive today. Obamas the same way And all they can do is bash bush for actually going after some of these bass turds The Clinton Legacy "Bill Clinton turned down at least three offers involving foreign governments to help to seize Osama Bin Laden," the Sunday Times of London reported on January 7, 2002. Two of the offers--from the Sudanese government and Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz--have already been reported. A third more mysterious offer to help came from the intelligence services of Saudi Arabia, then led by Prince Turki al-Faisal. The Times also reports that "according to a witness, Clinton told a dinner companion" shortly after Sept 11 "that the decision to let Bin Laden go was probably 'the biggest mistake of my presidency.' " However in a speech at his alma mater Georgetown University on December 14, 2001, Clinton gave this amazing justification and moral equivalence of the 9/11 attack - "In my own country (? sic), we've come a very, very long way since the days when African slaves and native Americans could be terrorised or killed with impunity, but still we have the occasional act of brutality or even death because of someone's race or religion or sexual orientation." That clears it up. All those victims on the planes or WTC and the firefighters who gave their lives to try to save them actually deserved to die because of how evil America was and is. Thank you, Bill Clinton. And now thanks Obama your all done now right ? The terrorists are on the run As long as we just let them alone they won't bother us right LEGACY The Clinton legacy is: The first presidential candidate to conduct a photo-op execution during the New Hampshire primary. The first president to be accused of rape (and to refuse to comment on the charge). The first president to franchise the Lincoln bedroom as a means of fundraising. The first president to steal White House furniture Clinton installed a Marxist terrorist in Haiti. Clinton unsuccessfully engaged in nation-building in Somalia at the cost of American lives. Clinton protected Serbian interests in Bosnia when the Croats and Bosnians were kicking their butts with a timely ceasefire. Clinton led the US into its first war of aggression siding with Albanian Marxist terrorists in Kosovo against the Serbs and falsely justified it by claiming the Serbs had murdered 100,000 Albanians. The true figure was closer to 2,000 and was about the same as the Albanians had inflicted on the Serbs in this civil war. Clinton used expensive cruise missles to blow up sheep in Afganistan and kill some innocent civilians and blow up an aspirin factory in the Sudan to distract attention from his impeachment. The first president to kidnap a 6 year old boy from his court-appointed guardians at the behest of a Communist dictator and return him to slavery. Clinton was the first elected president to be impeached. Clinton was the first president, or even human being, to claim that he had a climax but she felt nothing so it wasn't sex. Clinton was the first president to take illegal foreign campaign contributions. Clinton was the first president to sell pardons for donations. Clinton was the first president to lie under oath. http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/pearl/www.geocities.com/Pentagon/6315/strange.html#scandals Reagan built up America Clinton tore it down Bush tried to rebuild it Obama tore it down

  38. This is so sad... the bombing of the mosque... bless those poor people... Breaks my heart.... Agreed Idplzr... they/we don't even know for sure who did this. I'm sure he did leave to be with his community. They will continue to press forward in getting the government together... even with this terrible setback... If it was a Shiite militia then they need to be dealt with... PRONTO!!! (Maliki?) They've got to get IS out too!!! Yea this is an opinion piece... (in the news section)

  40. Thanks Ron, good stuff and I want to add: John 17:20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." 1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Wm13

  41. Look, I can't stand this president but you can't really blame him for all of the Iraqi government disfunction. I wouldn't call it a total failure just yet.

  42. Check out tje upstairs Iraqi News forum. CBI wants to move the official exchange rate to 1116 instead of the current 1166. Thats going in the right direction to get down to what I predicted would happen. I've said all along that the CBI will revalue slowly down to 1000 to 1 and then REDENOMINATE, creating a new ISO code and LOPPING the three zeros. That would solve their hyperinflated M2 problem, while bringing the dinar into a 1 to 1 ratio with the dollar. Of course that would screw over every out of country dinar holder, because they would have to exchange currency theough a website/commission fee AND with the loss of the three zero multiplyer, the dinarian dream (delusion) of becoming rich is flushed down the toilet.. Simple as that.

  44. I certainly hope so. Iraq can't do it on their own, and the rest of the world seems to be too stupid to step in... Everyone mocks the US for being the "World Police", and in most cases I agree that the US should worry about the US and not be a "World Police"... But in this case, we should definitely be "over-reaching" our bounds. The IS (ISIS) is an evil that needs to be exterminated. Right now, WE should be taking AGGRESSIVE action to demolish ISIS... and next to nothing is happening. This is a major factor in why I'm so passionate about a Plan B, a 2nd Passport, and Offshore Asset Protection... Some people are happy to blindly hope that their government will take care of them. NOT ME. I take care of myself and my own, and THAT is why I have my "Plan B".
