  1. My take on this whole dang thing is: The Sunni population is unhappy with the Shiite PM. They are tired to being short changed & treated like second class citizens. They want fair & equal treatment. The Kurds are all about getting paid & their slice of the pie! They have taken advantage of this incident to take back much that they lost previously. Once this "Maliki" situation is resolved we should see some good old national unity & these roaches from Syria will be sent packing back into Syria where they belong!

  7. I've had to think about this, but I've got to go with dog53 on his comments above. Umbertino, or U-man as I refer to him (whether he likes it or not) is not from our culture. Apparently, the author of the original article is not either. I hate to call people ignorant because it usually implies such bad connotations, but it simply means that someone is not aware or doesn't know, They're not from our particular culture that's so imbued with the use of firearms. Now umbertino has traveled extensively in our country so it may not apply to him, but many, if not most, Europeans have no clue of the vastness of the US. They don't have a clue what we mean by "off the grid" or "out in the boonies" or how self-reliant many Americans need to be. Their idea of hunting a great steak might be looking for a good cut at a reasonable price at the butcher shop or grocery store. Most Europeans who don't live in large cities, live in small towns or villages where there is a constable or a caribinere readily available (hope I got that right, U-man) and not in the boonies or in rural US where it may take a long time (hours in some places, days in places like Alaska) for help to arrive. Most rural folks in the US are used to the fact that we need to be more self-reliant. But if we're allowed to have guns for our self-reliance, the rat-basturd bad guys are allowed to have them too. That's why I own firearms. That's why I can fill the freezer with venison if I need to (Mom and the kids don't like venison.) Just because I have a firearm doesn't mean that I whip it out and start blasting the neighborhood every Friday night. That's a huge part of our culture. I certainly can't say "DNA" because my grandparents were immigrants from Europe and I grew up in a big city. But there's a reason that I don't live in Chicago anymore. They can keep their liberals and gangs and their crime and their useless gun laws that only hurt the law-abiding citizens. I'll stay here in my little heaven where I know my neighbors names and I have a key to their house and they have a key to mine. I've raised my children to respect and care for firearms - all guns will be handled carefully -all guns are loaded until proven otherwise - all guns need a thorough cleaning if they've been used - don't point a gun unless you intend to shoot it, don't shoot unless you intend to kill whatever it is aimed at - finger off the trigger until you're ready to squeeze it - aim small, miss small. And now I see my children raising their children the same way. . Now, try to be a home-invader at the 429 house. That probably wouldn't be a good idea. Also, I hear you DM in reference to the US sending folks to die, twice, in the last century in Europe. The author of the base article should also have remembered that in the early years of World War II, it was the private US gun-owners who sent their personal weapons to Great Britain to help arm that country to fend off the German invasion that never came. I don't believe that Umberto personally meant to jump up and down on a raw nerve of ours. The European crap is the same drivel that the liberal main stream media puts out every day here in the US. I don't believe that there was any malice intended. I don't believe that Umberto, or most Europeans for that matter, fully understands our culture as it pertains to firearms. Heck, I don't believe that most liberals do either. And yes DM, you can bet your last nickel that I would stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you to defend our country and our constitution, "from all enemies foreign or domestic." As for your comment and question, dontlop, I believe that what is being said in the article is this: Since the GOI has repeatedly violated the Constitution of Iraq by failing to pay the Kurds 17% of all oil revenues as required, they now are declaring to all who engage in oil-related commerce with Iraq that they too are parties to such violations unless they divert 17% of the proceeds of all oil commerce with the government of Iraq directly to the Kurds. Likewise, while you are correct in stating there exists no provision in the Iraqi Constitution to allow for independent oil sales by Kurdistan, the other part of the post mentions efforts by the Kurds to form their own independent State, thus precluding any need for permission from Iraq to do anything they choose; in essence, a Declaration of Independence by the Kurds. That is exactly what neither Turkey, Iran, or Iraq wants, and the reason that Saddam Hussein gassed the Kurds in a genocidal attempt to eliminate them altogether. The Kurds are very progressive in their own right, and have their own government already, as well as their own military/army. Whether they will be successful in pulling away from Iraq, or are just using this latest announcement as an inducement to get their fair share of the funds from oil sales is yet to be seen. Billio0

The big scene seemed a bit striking to the average person walking by as it was the middle of the day in a crowded busy Hollywood street. A closer look caused me to be even more intrigued – there was a gentleman being arrested. He was in handcuffs and surrounded by three or four armed officers. Or were they really officers? A closer look surprised me even more. The “officers” were not police. They were not Sheriff’s department or California Highway Patrol (CHP). They all wore a logo on their sleeves and a logo on an otherwise unmarked car that read “Andrews International Security Services” nothing else. They otherwise had all black uniforms and all were armed like police officers, looking scary and aggressive. After getting a photograph of their logo (which earned me a dirty look from them) and investigating them with the LAPD, I was told by an LAPD officer that this private security company is part of a program called “Business Improvement District” (BID). The officer explained that they’ve been putting these security entities on the streets for at least a few years to his knowledge. Ultimately, the officer agreed with me that this was a very serious situation saying it was a “very interesting” concept in light of the Constitutionality and legality of it. These “Business Improvement Districts” go by many other names which all interestingly happen to have three letter representations (like government agencies making them sound official) including the Business Improvement Area (BIA), the Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), Community Improvement District (CID), Special Services Area (SSA), and the Special Improvement District (SID). All of these groups are similar types of BIDs operating nationwide. Upon further research on this matter I discovered that this is a business model that first began in 1970 in Toronto where the first Business Improvement District (BID) was created in the “Bloor West Village.” Here in the U.S. the first BID appeared New Orleans in 1974 touting themselves as the “Downtown Development District.” How are BIDs formed? According to Wikipedia: A business improvement district (BID) is a defined area within which businesses pay an additional tax (or levy) in order to fund projects within the district’s boundaries. The BID is often funded primarily through the levy but can also draw on other public and private funding streams… BIDs provide services, such as cleaning streets, providing security, making capital improvements, construction of pedestrian and streetscape enhancements, and marketing the area. Apparently the richest business owners in the neighborhood can collude together to form a private group which donates money to provide whatever “services” they agree is to their best interest. Funding can come from both public or private entities and local government needs to determine that the majority of businesses want the BID before they enact legislation to create the BID. Local government does not consult with the community but instead with the business owners who are able to influence legislation to ensure the establishment of the BID. In fact, most people don’t know that BIDs have become a powerful lobby group pushing municipalities for certain services that they then select private companies to cash in on when the job is contracted to them. In other words, business owners have gotten together and formed yet another product that they are selling to the municipalities. That’s right, your freedom to walk down the streets is being sold to private entities. What am I talking about? Or, so what, you might say, what’s the big deal? As the document source states above, BIDs are providing “services” such as street cleaning, making capital improvements, construction of pedestrian and streetscape enhancements, and marketing capital improvements. In addition to these services of “improvements,” “enhancements” that serve corporate interest, they are also providing “security” because security is part of the “improvement”. As I recently found out, this includes “International” private armed security companies who are being given the power to arrest people in the streets. When the state municipalities begin to sell the “service” of policing the people, funded by programs that were not approved by the people but instead by a small group of business owners, we are walking down a slippery road to corporate tyranny. With the number of BIDs in American now increased from a small handful in the 1970s-80s we now have over 1000-1200 BIDs in the United States alone operating in cities throughout the United States without the approval of the people. The corporations are using this program to arm themselves against the people. This represents a large civilian army whose numbers are growing with no end in sight; this should concern all Americans who care about freedom, liberty and the Constitution. These private (PRO-Corporation) illegal “security” personnel are posing as officers and police and are spreading in the United States, and that is a direct threat to the people who have no say in who these people are and why they are roaming around in our streets. We are now approaching a time when these private security gangs or pseudo-police are looking to intimidate and bully Americans (which is exactly what I witnessed on the streets of Hollywood) who are walking the streets enforcing their own private set of rules, independent of the basic laws of the local government. Their private rules are based on whether you the pedestrian are interfering with the “improvement” or the “enhancement” or even the “marketing” of the general area where the private business cabal who formed the Business Improvement District (BID) to begin with, is conducting their business. This intriguing development is very much a part of the globalist restructuring of our world in the name of private profit and corporate despotism. This is another way in which private corporations are working hand in hand with local government to enslave the people and remove, arrest, charge and perhaps even beat or kill anyone who gets in the way of private profit. Let’s not be fooled by back stage formations of these private business coalitions that are forming in our own towns while we work every day and do our own thing. They are catching on with these models and using them to take away your freedom, while they profit even more. If you see or learn of one of these organizations in your local community confront it. Find out everything you can about them and try to have a voice in what they are doing. Tell others about these programs and help inform voters from the perspective of the U.S. Constitution so that people can have a voice in this issue. Let your local government know that armed civilians enforcing security in the name of corporate profit is not what America is about and does not serve the interest of Americans. Big business owners are not America, they do not represent the interest of the we-the-people and their private security forces need to be dismantled immediately. Sadly, many people will see these corporate takeovers of our local municipal towns and streets as innocent, maybe even a good idea, and they won’t think twice about the dangers this represents. To those people, I will remind them of the words outlined in our Declaration of Independence which states: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, Let this be a reminder that we truly are all created equal, and it is the greed and arrogance that is often related to the pursuit of riches, power and control, that give men the delusion that he is greater than another just because he has more money and riches. This is all part of the superiority complex psychosis known as eugenics, which is ultimately driving the effort to create a one world government. Those that suffer from this mental disease truly believe they are superior to the average person, and this psychosis is at the heart of this entire issue. Without this eugenic superiority mentality we would not be seeing what we are seeing in the streets of America. The eugenicists who are running many of the successful businesses today really believe it is up to them to control society and impose their personal wishes on the general public. Call it what you will, this has to stop and we must expose these programs. The officer I spoke with never did tell me why or how the private security company known as Andrews International Security Services is granted the authority to arrest Americans, and I’m still investigating to see if they have been officially granted such authority, but either way this is a red flag for all Americans to start sounding the alarm. As I mentioned before, the officer I spoke with seemed to agree that this was at the very least an issue of interest and concern, especially for anyone who truly understands the Constitution. I believe we will hear more of this issue as we continue to march toward global tyranny and we continue to witness the presence of these mysterious “International” and private security corporations, donning the role of police and attempting to police a sovereign nation full of millions of Veterans and active and retired Officers who themselves swore an oath to defend the Constitution. These are signs of the times and I urge readers to take a stand against tyranny and the corporate-government funded new world order. If you don’t take a stand now, you may not have a chance to take a stand tomorrow, for by then it will be too late. Well, this is an attractive necessity for investors, underwriters and financial institutions.   16. Tlar: “It Is A March Toward Completion” I feel refreshed. I finally just got my internet back. Schiz, so many did not vote for him. He played every dirty trick to win this election. He confiscated the ballets in Diyala to the tune of 50 % of 14 MP’s. He stole 2 million Sunni ballots out of the 12 million total that voted (1 ou of every 6 ballots of the people who did vote country wide). Remember when he bragged, “I expect big support from the Sunni’s”, even before the votes were counted. That’s Sunni’s who he stole the votes from. He was offering a new car and one million for any head of any block who would support him. 5 accepted. ~~~ He was trying to buy votes of Iraqi’s not in country using state funds. No telling how many he actually bought. He tried to bribe the Kurds with vote for me and you can keep the disputed territories and keep all the money from oil sales for the next 5 years. Nothing has worked even intimidation.. He needed to go down and that is exactly what has happened. He is under detention (don’t ask the details). This is a process that must move forward and it is. Hopefully before Sunday the government will be announced. If not they will meet on Sunday and as quickly as possible they will vote this government in. Their first order of business will be the budget. Either just before or just after the budget, Turki will make the currency equal to the budget. Why, because he has to. This will move fast now and guys who don’t understand or see it won’t miss it as long as they have already bought and are holding on to the ticket (dinar). It is not important to understand. Everybody including me will just be witness the greatest event in our history. Expect a little more confusion in the next day or two. Articles will talk about Baghdad being besieged by the ISIS. Per Iran’s instructions, he did not move forcefully at the end of 2011 to renew the Security Agreement , which would have permitted American combat troops to remain in Iraq. He did not dissolve his Office of the Commander in Chief, the entity he has used to bypass the military chain of command by making all commanders report to him. He did not relinquish control of the U.S.-trained Iraqi counterterrorism and SWAT forces, wielding them as a praetorian guard. He did not dismantle the secret intelligence organizations, prisons and torture facilities with which he has bludgeoned his rivals. He did not abide by a law imposing term limits, again calling upon kangaroo courts to issue a favorable ruling. And he still has not issued a new and comprehensive amnesty that would have helped quell unrest from previously violent Shiite and Sunni Arab factions that were gradually integrating into politics. In short, Maliki’s one-man, one-Dawa-party Iraq looks a lot like Hussein’s one-man, one-Baath Party Iraq. But at least Hussein helped contain a strategic American enemy: Iran. They cannot afford this if they wish to become a power player in the financial world. If they start losing the big boys then we are in a world of hurt and this will take a bit longer than expected. Not sayin' I have all the answers...or even a few for that matter...just sayin' there had to be a more honorable way to move into the neighborhood. I remember being taught manifest destiny in school...but now that I have a few years under my belt I would say IMHO that was for the most part a crock to justify their actions. I know we don't live in a perfect world, and yes, the settlers lived in a different era from us...so I guess it comes down to what Dog said....and we need to make the most of what we do have.

  32. It would seemingly be important to understand what exactly is meant when using the word infidel in characterizing another... So I went in search of contextual renderings, and was surprised to find the word infidel as having a place in both the Jewish and Christian religions which proceeded the Islam religion chronologically.... I guess it makes sense the word would carry over.... Then again, I'm always surprised to find that many people don't know that you can find much more in-depth discussion of some of the major Biblical characters and their lives in the Qur'an.... For example, the Qur'an gives much greater depth in discussing Mary, the mother of Jesus.. Of course I'm equally surprised that many don't know that Jesus is referenced in the Qur'an (not as the Son of G-d... but a major prophet) And this is of course not to engage debate as to whether or not Jesus is the Son of G-d, and instead is a notation that Jesus as a man is acknowledged as living and real.... Indeed, as a historical record, the Qur'an clearly corroborates that Jesus was real and His historical record of existence is clearly recorded in documenting that reality as an independent source...... but I digress and back to the characterization of another as an infidel.... The below reference is a bit confusing (to me) in being out of chronological order in terms of when the developed religions emerged and would have been more accurate to reference them in the order of Jewish, Christian, and Islam and I'm sure why Catholic was thrown in as separate from Christian.... but there is some interesting info.... Here is some of what I found...: Infidel (literally "one without faith") is a term used in certain religions, especially Christianity and Islam, for one who has no religious beliefs, or who doubts or rejects the central tenets of the particular religion.%5B1%5D%5B2%5D%5B3%5D Infidel is an ecclesiastical term in Christianity around which the Church developed a body of theology that deals with the concept of infidelity, which makes a clear differentiation between those who were baptized and followed the teachings of the Church versus those who are outside the faith.%5B4%5D The term infidel was used by Christians to describe those perceived as the enemies of Christianity. When applied to non-monotheists, the usage of the word is similar to the appellations heathen or pagan.%5B5%5D As such, the term infidel has often been applied to atheists, whose disbelief is viewed negatively in both Christianity and Islam.%5B6%5D%5B7%5D%5B8%5D After the ancient world the concept of otherness, an exclusionary notion of the outside by societies with more or less coherent cultural boundaries, became associated with the development of the monotheistic and prophetic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, for example, claims, "it is well known among the Muslims, and they are unanimously agreed that the Christians are kaafirs, and even that those who do not regard them as kaafirs are also kaafirs."%5B35%5D%5B36%5D Similarly, Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz suggests, "The Jews and Christians are both kafirs and mushrikeen. They are kafirs because they deny the truth and reject it. And they are mushrikeen because they worship someone other than Allah."%5B37%5D%5B38%5D Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, and other scholars, consider annual religious holidays celebrated by Christians such as Christmas as a celebration of the belief in the "Son of God" which in Islam is blasphemy and kafir.%5B39%5D%5B40%5D%5B41%5D Kafir, like the term infidel, has also come to be regarded as offensive.%5B42%5D Jewish Judaism has a notion of pagan gentiles who are called acum (an acronym of Ovdei Cohavim u-Mazzaloth or, literally, those who are "star-and-constellation worshippers") or idolaters. After the Crusades in the Levant, they moved to crusading activities in the infidel Baltics.%5B47%5D Their crusades against the Lithuanians and Poles however precipitated the Lithuanian Controversy, and the Council of Constance, following the condemnation of Wyclif, found Hostiensis's views no longer acceptable and ruled against the knights. Colonization of the Americas During the Age of discovery, the Papal Bulls such as Romanus Pontifex and more importantly inter caetera (1493), implicitly removed dominium from infidels and granted them to the Spanish Empire and Portugal with the charter of guaranteeing the safety of missionaries.%5B48%5D Subsequent English and French rejections of the bull refuted the Popes authority to exclude other Christian princes. Georgia, giving Georgia authority to extend state laws over Cherokees within the state, and famously describing Native American tribes as "domestic dependent nations." This decision was modified in Worcester v. Georgia, which stated that the U.S. federal government, and not individual states, had authority in Indian affairs, but it maintained the loss of right to title upon discovery by Europeans. Native American groups including the Taíno and Onondaga have called on the Vatican to revoke the bulls of 1452, 1453, and 1493.[citation needed] Marriage According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the Church views Marriage as forbidden and null when conducted between the faithful (Christians) and infidels, unless a dispensation has been granted.%5B49%5D This is because marriage is a sacrament of the Catholic Church, which infidels are deemed incapable of receiving.%5B49%5D As a philosophical tradition Some philosophers such as Thomas Paine, David Hume, George Holyoake, Charles Bradlaugh, Voltaire and Rousseau earned the label of infidel or freethinkers, both personally and for their respective traditions of thought because of their attacks on religion and opposition to the Church. These traditions also sought to set up various independent model communities, as well as societies, whose traditions then gave rise to various other socio-political movements such as secularism in 1851, as well as developing close philosophical ties to some contemporary political movements such as socialism and the French Revolution.%5B50%5D Towards the early twentieth century, these movements sought to move away from the tag "infidel" because of its associate negative connotation in Christian thought, and is attributed to George Holyoake's coining the term 'secularism' in an attempt to bridge the gap with other theist and Christian liberal reform movements.%5B50%5D In 1793, Immanuel Kant's Religion within the Boundaries of Mere Reason, reflected the Enlightenment periods' philosophical development, one which differentiated between the moral and rational and substituted rational/irrational for the original true believer/infidel distinction.%5B4%5D Implications upon medieval civil law Laws passed by the Catholic Church governed not just the laws between Christians and Infidels in matters of religious affairs, but also civil affairs. Having opinions is great, though I'm not sure any of them have sufficient foundation to be held as any more credible than another... (yeah, I'm looking for the scholar). Then again, I admit to very strict criterion in bestowing credibility when it comes to the exegesis of a Holy book. That notwithstanding, it seems a bit out of line with history if not less than honest with ourselves, to claim that Christianity did not kill, maim and torture hundreds upon thousands of infidels who did not embrace Christianity. To make that claim, one would have to completely deny the decades of widespread Christian Crusades. The Crusades was not one really long lasting Rose Parade.Hundreds upon thousands were killed over many many years... And yeah its over and done... and that was then, we just can't pretend it never way when pointing a finger at another... It was part of that culture of Christianity.... As was the murder of hundreds of women who were killed as witches many years later here in this country as part of deeply held Christian beliefs... And in current times, deeply held Christian beliefs lead to killing doctors / health providers who are deemed to be adversarial to Christianity in their abortion work.... And please, again be clear I am not defending or advocating or any position as to whether or not it is okay to kill another person out of one's religious beliefs....What I am saying is any honest conversation about doing so, is only honest to the degree we acknowledge and perhaps examine our own history of doing the same, and not pretending it did not or does not happen in order to point the finger at another who believes differently ... Not all Muslims are the same, not all Christians are the same, not all Jews are the same, and the extent to which we lump them all together, and deny there are zealots in every religious group, is the extent to which we get further from the truth about who is G-d and who we are in relation to Him as the individuals we are. Deal with the zealots as who they are and treat them as such... recognize them for what they are, and consider them outside the devout worship of people seeking to know G-d... And obviously this will not appeal to everyone, and many will disagree... Equally obvious, is that I come from a Jewish scholarship perspective and exegesis, which is not always consistent with some Christian exegesis, and in that we are likely to differ...which is totally cool... I've also spent considerable time in the sand, and all over the ME and may be returning... Just like anywhere you go, how you view a people is a matter of personal perspective, and that's all it is... mine included... If there was only one way to view the world and we could all see it from that one view, things would be so much easier... and that is not how it is... G-d is a G-d of free will, so its up to us as individuals as to how we see the world... and live in the world in relationship to our G-d....

I have seen the passages talking about slaying the infidels down to the last of their number. I have read where they are not required to deal honestly with any non-Muslim. I have read this for myself. I don't care what interpretation a particular person puts on it. The Koran unequivocally states kill all infidels down to the last of their number. Thankfully, there is a large number of Muslims who do not adhere to these requirements. Do NOT tell me they are not there though.

He`s just another liberal who thinks that the ant farm beehive mentality is actually a viable way to live. He`s also a devout pacifist who couldn't hurt another human being to even save his own We have a warriors mentality Dive . We are willing to take a life if it becomes necessary to our survival. It is impossible for me to turn the other cheek. Its just not in me. But there are hundreds of thousands out there just like Umbert who will someday need men like us. They too will one day feel the yoke of tyranny descend upon them. and though they will not fight at least they will learn and hopefully help rebuild . and finally realize that freedom comes with a price. It`s hard for me to write another human being off just because they are misguided. I like to think that its possible for them to one day learn.

All three were assigned to the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C. The military did not release additional details, but Elliott said the three apparently were riding in a Humvee that struck an improvised explosive device. “This is a blow,” Elliott said. “I never cried for my father, my mother. I do cry for David.” Stewart was married and had two young children. He ran in an Air Force Marathon race two years ago at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Elliott said. “He had a very easy going way,” he said. “He was a very handsome young man. He was into everything that he should be. …He’s the type of person I would lay my life down for.” Stewart, a 10-year Marine Corps veteran, deployed to Afghanistan after completing a stint as a drill instructor. We both looked forward to bringing our wives and kids together...Scott was killed in an IED explosion in Afghanistan on June 3, 2008.
