  1. The Secret Is To Combine Ur Time On Dinar Sites With A Hobby - Like Drinking ...
    7 points
  2. A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of Art. They had everything in their collection from Picasso to Raphael. They would often stand and admire their collection. When the Vietnam conflict brokeout, the son was drafted and he went off to war. Wasn't long into his tour of duty until he was killed while trying to save one of his buddies that was pinned down in a fire fight. Word came to his father and he grieved deeply for his only son that had been scarificed for our nation. About a month had passed just before Christmas, there was a knock on his door, when he opened it there stood a young man with a package in his hand. He said, "You don't know me but I am the soldier that your son gave his life trying to save. He was helping me get out of harm's way when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly without any pain". He often talked about you as we were close and we shared stories from home to help us make it through each day. The young man held out the package and said it was your son's belongings and I am sure he wanted them brought back to you. As the man opened the box on the very top was a portrait of him drawn in pencil by this young man as a gift for saving his life. I know it's not much and I am not very good at drawing people but he loved it. The old man looked at the portrait and somehow was drawn to his eyes as if he was right there in front of him. The man said it is the most beautiful picture I have of my son and I will place it in the middle of all the art. His eyes welled up in tears at the sight of his son. Trying not to get choked up, he offered a heart felt thank you and told the young man he had made his day and that he would treasure it all the days of his life. He offered to pay the man for his troubles and the young man refused and said" No Sir this was my gift to you for him". The father took the box and immediately took the portrait out unrolled it and placed it in a special frame that he had laying around for such an opportunity.. He old man had his Butler hang it right in the middle of all the expensive paintings. This had become his most prized possession and to him it stood out from all the others. Any time visitors came to his home he carried them into his huge room of paintings and they always ask about the one portrait in pencil right in the middle of them all. The old man died a few months after that visit from mostly a broken heart and being alone and he left specific instructions in his will as to what he wanted done with his art. There was to be a great auction advertised listing all the arts complete with pictures so to draw many people. On the day of the auction at least 100 people were attending, most were from influential families and background with lots of money. They walked around viewing the painting ever so beautiful and wondering why one penciled portrait was right in the middle of some of the most expensive, most beautiful painting's from all over the world. As it was time to start the auctioneer banged his gavel and said, "It is time to get this auction started and the first item up for bids is this portrait in pencil, who will make the first bid". Every one was quiet for n"o one offered a word. Again the auctioneer said, "can I have a bid". One man from the back of the room said, "get that piece of junk out of the way and get to the good stuff". The auctioneer ignored the man and again said, "I need a bit on this piece" and again someone else spoke up and said, "set it out of the way and lets move along", and finally a small man who had been the man's gardener all those years stood up and said, "I will give ten dollars that's all I have", and the auctioneer ask if there were any more bids. The room was quiet accept for a few grumblings among themselves. The auctioneer said, "Sold to the man for ten dollars and this ladies and gentleman closes the auction. People became angry and wanted to know what the blazes was going on. The auctioneer stepped back up to the microphone and said, the auction is over so I will tell you now. You see this man left specific instructions about this auction to be held in secret only to the auctioneer about how this was to be. The will stated that upon his death there was to be an auction for his cherished paintings and the penciled portrait of his son was to be first. The several people stood up and said that not say why the auction is over, I want to bid on some of these paintings. The auctioneer said if you will let me finish I am getting to that. He continued by saying that the first bid on his most prized picture his son was the only one to be auctioned and whom ever bid on it would inherit all the paintings as a gift.. Therefore who took his son got everything. Lesson learned here is God gave his son's life over 2,000 years ago on a cruel rugged cross and much like the auctioneer, his message today is the same as it is everyday, now and as long as life on earth remains, "Whom ever takes my son will get everything" question is who will take him and who will walk away gripping in disbelief.

  3. Proof positive the dems demanding no ID voting are really intending to continue to cheat at the polls. How else can you have a 150% turn out? You would think that, at some point, we'd run out of "you can't make this stuff up" moments. NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti voter ID protest marchIn 2011 Elon University conducted a poll which revealed that 75% of North Carolina residents supported a wide swath of new voter ID regulations that were, at the time, making their way through the legislature. With such broad support, the measures were a no-brainer. They eventually passed and were signed into law last August. Obviously these laws are extremely racist. Requiring minority voters to show ID to cast a ballot is, clearly, a way for old white men to oppress them. So, as usual, the NAACP has been foaming at the mouth as it continues its completely genuine, not-at-all-phony, struggle for “equality.” Each year the civil rights watchdogs hold a so-called “Moral March on Raleigh.” The annual event is designed to protest any laws that Republicans may have passed during the preceding 12 months. This year’s march took place this weekend, and it focused extensively on the Voter ID regs. So, what did you need if you wanted to attend? Yup, that’s right. You needed to have a “driver’s license, passport, or other valid Photo ID” if you wanted to protest the evil Republican scheme to make sure you to have a “driver’s license, passport, or other valid photo ID” in order to vote. That is the liberal progressive mind in action. Aren’t these the very same people who are constantly making the argument that poor, uneducated, minority voters can’t get a photo ID due to the deplorable conditions into which our “downright mean” country has forced them? Isn’t the NAACP disenfranchising would-be marchers by stripping them of their 1st Amendment rights? More importantly, if they’re required to bring a photo ID to the protest march they should already have one when the elections roll around. Doesn’t that negate the point of holding the march in the first place? Remember everyone: The NAACP thinks you’re more than capable of getting a photo ID to attend their rally, but they think it’s an insurmountable hardship for you to get one in order to vote. We’d like to congratulate the usually obtuse NAACP for so openly destroying its own arguments. Hopefully they’ll do it more often. When they do the heavy lifting, it makes our jobs just that much easier.

  7. This is something I wrestle with every day. Driving down the street and see someone walking that isn't dressed for the weather and wonder, should I offer them a ride, but then am afraid they might think I want more than just to help, should I give the person with a help sign some money, or are they just begging for more drug or alcohol money. I know I am here witness for God, just how far to take it is the problem.

  9. If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!! A young Canadian paratrooper was taking some college courses between assignments. He had completed 3 tours of duty in Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA). One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform... I'll give you exactly 15 min." The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting." It got down to the last couple of minutes when the soldier got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him clean off the platform. The professor was out cold. The young soldier went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the soldier and asked, "What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?" The young soldier stood up and calmly replied, "GOD was too busy today protecting soldiers, who are protecting your right to speak such stupidity and act like an idiot. So He sent me."

They talk about getting it completed before the beginning of the year, but its always late February. Personally i dont think a passed budget means anything to us when it goes past the first of the year. Almost a good thing IMO. Thanks Yota

  13. Like the past 3 plus years... We know each day that we know nothing! They are playing with the "we will drop the three zeros" quote as Iraqis and guru dealers. It doesn't happen and in truth even if it happens tomorrow we won't know until that very moment. This is how it is suppose to be done. Yet, they do have us in a bind holding their dinar. Why did Bush release this for our consumption? What were they thinking? Were we all scammed or is there really a long awaited payoff. So much in lives and money brought into that country. The USA has so much at stake on a political level and economic too. Yet, the winners are the big oil company's who are there and have been there spilling out millions of barrels of crude daily. If we hadn't gone to war they wouldn't be there... It really makes me wonder what the bigger picture is and who is at the helm? The system is moving on tracks we can not understand and we are not ever going to know. People are making huge moves on a global scale and we can only pray we investors in this speculative opportunity fair well., it makes sense we will. How? When? How much? Don't believe those who keep you on the edge of your seat day to day with obvious lack of fruition. Pray... Right now in terms of speed... It's all you and I have. Peace and I hope those so called gurus are right in terms of this happening soon.... I draw from tiny pieces of news from varied sources and use my best ill informed judgement. If we all could sift thru the bad news I believe we would have a much clearer picture of this investment........... ((((( rolling my eyes )))). Thanks for reading

  15. Just wanted to share some great news with everyone here. My mother has dementia. I received a call from her, just got off the phone with her in fact, you see for Christmas I gave her a couple of beautiful blouses, just so she can wear around the house, to look nice for my dad, I made go off a bit but I am filled with great joy for her. Anyway I had also given her some "Word Search" books (forget about the blouses, in my eyes my mother will always be beautiful) back to the real story again....she told me that she was able to finish the Word Search, and for a moment or two she and I were ecstatic about her accomplishment. I told her that that was just wonderful. Then she begins to tell me, now she will move on to the next page...LoL!!!! You see I thought she finished the book (after all she had them since Christmas) and ready to move on to the next book. I made her laugh so hard she had to call me back, she wanted to tell my daddy why we were laughing. Back again to the story, you see, she's at an early stage and showing signs of trying to remember what she reads, what words to use in a sentence, her penmanship is practically gone. She struggles with the grandchildren names at the moment. And most of all sometimes her meds. My dad is with her and I have a sister who takes care of them during the day also, so that relieves my mind a bit. Come to think of it I think she was more excited about me being excited, silly ole me. I told her to save the page, that it was mine for keeps. I hope she remembers. She'll turned 81 on Tuesday and I'm just glad to have her another year. was more excited about me being excited, silly ole me. I told her to save that page, that it was mine for keeps. Just wanted to share, thanks for giving me an ear. Any suggestions on the care for the elderly as they go through their stages. What works best in your situations. sorry for any mistakes or improper writings, but I think I got my story across.

  16. BAGHDAD — A group of Sunni militants attending a suicide bombing training class at a camp north of Baghdad were killed on Monday when their commander unwittingly conducted a demonstration with a belt that was packed with explosives, army and police officials said. The militants belonged to a group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, which is fighting the Shiite-dominated army of the Iraqi government, mostly in Anbar Province. But they are also linked to bomb attacks elsewhere and other fighting that has thrown Iraq deeper into sectarian violence. Twenty-two ISIS members were killed, and 15 were wounded, in the explosion at the camp, which is in a farming area in the northeastern province of Samara, according to the police and army officials. Stores of other explosive devices and heavy weapons were also kept there, the officials said. Eight militants were arrested when they tried to escape, the officials said. The militant who was conducting the training was not identified by name, but he was described by an Iraqi Army officer as a prolific recruiter who was “able to kill the bad guys for once.” ISIS militants drove into Falluja and the nearby city of Ramadi, both in Anbar Province, earlier this year with heavy weaponry, taking control of key intersections and offices of local authorities. Local security forces and tribes have since re-established control in Ramadi. But Iraq is developing a plan, with help from the United States, that would have Sunni tribes take the lead in ending the standoff with ISIS in Falluja, with the Iraqi Army in support, a senior State Department official told Congress last week. The official, Brett McGurk, said that ISIS had about 2,000 fighters in Iraq, and that its longer-term objective is to establish a base of operations in Baghdad, led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who has been officially designated as a global terrorist by the State Department. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/11/world/middleeast/suicide-bomb-instructor-accidentally-kills-iraqi-pupils.html?ref=world&_r=0

Each year the staff at Beloit College in Wisconsin puts together a list to try to give the faculty a sense of the Mindset of this year's incoming freshmen. Here's this year's list: The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were born in 1994! They are too young to remember the space shuttle blowing up. Their lifetime has always included AIDS. Bottle caps have always beenchildproof and plastic. The CD was introduced 4yearsbefore they were born. They have always had an answering machine.. They have always had cable. They cannot fathom not having a remote control. Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show. Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave. They never took a swim and thought about Jaws. They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are. They don't know who Mork was or where he was from. They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd walk a mile for a Camel", or "De plane, Boss, deplane.." They do not care who shot J.R. Nor do they have any idea who J. R. even is. Mc Donald's never came in Styrofoam containers. They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter. Do you feel old yet? Pass this on to the other old fogies on your list. (Notice the larger type; that's for those of you who have trouble reading.) So have a nice day!!! It is good to have friends who know about these things and are still alive and kicking!!!

  18. It is an embarrassment to and for all of us that this clown represents us on the world stage ! What is even more interesting is we are more impressed with the president of a country that we have been told to be, and have been enemies of for more than 50 years. My god, what has this country become ? We are obviously disgusted with this leader & the government that he is putting in place. Notice I say this leader rather than our, because he is not mine. Those of you that want to follow him over the cliff, more power to you. Just remember he has Marine One to lift him up to his offshore account, now rumored to have over 400 million in it. Funny how a community leader and part time senator and now president making under 500,000. A year, can accumulate such a fortune in such a short period of time, legally. It reminds me of when I went to see Independence Day at the theater. Clinton was the president, when the aliens blew up the Whitehouse the whole audience in the theater cheered. May God help us escape, this country is beyond repair, and will collapse ! Go RV. Islandman7

  22. unirod, I'm not even going to ask where you came up with that name lol... Anyway, I agree with you to the extent that if they don't move soon before the dollar ceases that not only Iraq will be devastated, but the whole world will be up the river without a paddle. We have to remember that the dollar is already in "TROUBLE" and I think to the point of no return. Don't listen to what the government is telling you because they lie! It is my opinion that it should have collapsed in 2008/2009, but there was a slight detour and other countries took the brunt instead. It's just a matter of when at this point ... and I can't even imagine how much gold China holds, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they got a fairly good chunk of it from the U.S. We are in serious trouble. Anyone hear about a certain economist pulling just about ALL of his money out of BOA today or yesterday? Well, he's not the only one! People need to wake up already because the snooze alarm is burnt out! I stopped praying a long time ago for an RV because I know GOD heard me the first time lol... but, I am now praying that it happens before the Shite hits the fan because if it doesn't happen prior to, then it probably never will and things will be looking pretty bad for everyone. Hoping that it works out so that some good can be accomplished and that more people will have a chance at preparing for what is to come.

I don't begrudge people who get those benefits (maybe a little), but I think everyone should be responsible for their own well being. It's called personal responsibility. It needs to start at the personal level, and spread upward from there. If we can't be responsible for ourselves, how can someone else be expected to be responsible for us ?

  32. I don't get that sense snowglobe..it could be your "get ready, cuz here it comes" senses causing the tingling. I do find it interesting that the goi has commissioned the cbi to sell gold to dealers, also there's going to be this committee formed to over see banking activities and policies, which this move may be connected to. A couple of thoughts pertaining to these we should ask ourselves: 1) Are they trying to meet IMF guidelines? 2) Why now? 3) Attempt to scoop up booty? I have contended for several months now that if Maliki thinks he may not have a good chance of winning the elections, why would he bother to change the currency value/release it, etc.? If the polls show that state law is close (and we still don't know for sure the Maliki will be their nominee for the PM'ship) maybe he might release the currency value? And remember the goi is losing buckets full of money by the day not approving this budget. They have to do something to raise money..again, I just don't want/ hope Maliki isn't trying to load up the cbi coffers for no good. Thanks Thug, K98, Revbo and everyone.

  39. where is the love for information? When Tony r Okie do their things, no one seems to jump on their backs, I don't know who this "judge" guy is, but life there is a chance that he is right about any of this; we may be seeing a change in the way we are treated by our government, and to me, this is nothing to trivialize! I want this RV to go down now! but is it slows down again and lands back on the turf as another pile of manure; I'll still wait for it to happen, what the heck: I'm not bankrupted by what I have purchased, so there sill be no big deal! When the RV takes place, regardless of its price, a gain is better in my mind, no matter how small, than any amount of loss. I will be happy and I will be a little bit of a pain to those who said that I was being foolish for having jumped in to this opportunity. (I told you this was gonna work! I'll bet you feel like a fool now, right!?) RV already, so I can invest in the XL Pipeline...Alright!
