  1. 9:48 AM [Adam Montana] sorry mods, I didn't give you a heads up on this one. 9:48 AM [Adam Montana] Just a quick update, although it's probably more relevant to our VIP and OSI members than anyone else. 9:49 AM [Adam Montana] With the current state of things, it's starting to look like the stars are lining up in our favor 9:49 AM [Adam Montana] I'm not going to do another full on analysis at this time, check my last chat for that 9:50 AM [Adam Montana] but with the current state of things, I have been doing some confirming with our VIP banks both foreign and domestic 9:50 AM [Adam Montana] in fact I'm just leaving Belize, where I've spent a few days meeting with both our VIP cash-in banks and also our OSI partner banks 9:51 AM [Adam Montana] we are 100% ready to go with every outlet that I've made arrangements with... 9:51 AM [Adam Montana] and that applies to everyone, not just VIP members 9:51 AM [Adam Montana] I have 100% confirmation from several major banks that they DO have plans to move from "no dinar" to "bring it on!" 9:52 AM [Adam Montana] on a note that is strictly relevant to our offshore investor group - I've opened a few new doors and I'll be sharing that with you later this week 9:52 AM [Adam Montana] so... until that RV is announced, we still wait.

  2. **********RUMOR********** Hello Everyone- I hope your spirits are flying high, as they should be, here's why. World wide investors are meeting in droves with different Iraqi agencies to finalize agreements that have been pending international banking regulations. Also, as you have been reading from certain posts ( OC Crush) many laws and events are lining up for the execution of currency revalue that we all have been waiting for. Yes, this is the very end of this journey. Be excited! Much of what you hear has been mis-representation of the truth, this is not. Rate will be $3.42 and rise over the course time. Budget approval along with the revealing of chapter 7 freedom, Hydro Carbon Law and other awaited events will be announced at the same time. We are expecting this within days of happening. Smile : ) and be joyful! Wife in the know

  3. Anyone who has read even part of my postings here will know that I am not, repeat NOT, a political creature, am disappointed in the amount of hard-core, downright NASTY political posting from and regarding the United States of America ... my good neighbour to the south ... Yup, I am a Canadian and don't, as a rule, make comments about America. For the most part I try to avoid those postings. But ... today, in my email, I found something that is political, is American ... but is not outright nasty. I liked it. I have no idea who is what in the democratic and republican division of things, and don't really want to know. But this caught my attention, and hearty approval for posting, because it addresses the issue of big brother being ignored. THAT I do like and that is why I am posting this. Enjoy! smee2 OKLAHOMA! Oklahoma is the only state that Obama did not win even one county in the last election... While everyone is focusing on Arizona ’s new law, look what Oklahoma has been doing!!!! An update from Oklahoma : Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...! HB 1330 Guess what.......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB 1804. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake. Guess what.......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegal's to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional SB 1102 Guess what......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas , Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. Save your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again. HJR 1003 The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a setback for the criminals The Liberals didn't like it -- But.... Guess what........... Oklahoma did it anyway. Just this month, the state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers’ license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of the road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma , you must read and write English. Really simple. By the way, the Liberals don't like any of this either Guess what...who cares... Oklahoma is doing it anyway. If you like it, pass it on, if you don't then delete it...Thanks Guess what : the people I'm sending this to, will send it on. Well, at least the ones who love and believe in freedom will.

  4. I have read and heard a lot of bashing, putting down, making fun of any posts that someone is not happy about or just rub on the wrong way. I believe if we don’t have anything nice to say about anything or anybody, sometimes it’s better to keep it to ourselves unless something really obnoxious that needs some ironing so it’s not wrinkle. Dinar Vets has been a great site for all of us, not only it provides information, rumors, investments, music, encouragements, prayers and most of all is friendship which we all enjoy one way or the other. I personally have met some great people in the site and honor to call them friends. The site has provided us with many topic options (forum) for us to choose which one we want to read or see. We are all adults with right mind (I hope) and I believe we can play nice and fair :)/> and make our bet in dinar as investments and now we are on the same train for a long ride to RV land. In the meantime, it’s our choice either we want to make the ride enjoyable with some humor, rumor, information, encouragements, music or we want to banter and push and shove people so they jump off the train because they get discouraged and feel unwelcome. Whether we want to admit or not, it takes a lot of time and energy to do research and cut and paste the articles or rumors one brings to the site. If we don’t agree with what the articles say, please do not shoot the messenger, at least respect their good will to bring it to us. I personally enjoy reading the rumors than the news as I feel everything about Iraq and Dinar, we have heard them all, seen them all, hoped them all, spun them all till nothing to spin anymore, and nothing has happened yet. At least, we can laugh about the rumors or it can give us a little hope, probably somebody, somewhere, has the news right this time, otherwise it’s a cheap entertainment :)/> Does it create frustration ? yes, a lot but it doesn’t give us the right to be mean and bash anybody who just happens to rub us the wrong way that day. We have run off some good people from the site and discouraged a lot as the site is not fun anymore…the day someone tries to bring something to make us all laugh, someone just has to poke the stick. If we claim we are who we are, poking is just not the right thing to do. Let’s get along and hopefully the ride will stop soon and we can all be happy and laugh our way to the bank in the meantime, let’s enjoy the ride with light heart, a smile and humor as it is said, a merry heart is a good medicine and also a smile makes a day brighter and a laugh will make our long waiting eaiser. Let’s treat articles especially rumors from a perspective of entertainments You all deserve a great weekend and hey, it’s Friday and happy hour at DV lounge I think our famous DJ will spin the plates and playing some good music, the wine and cheese are provided by Snooz beer by Bumper64 so come on and have a good time

  6. Before the internet came into our lives we counted on the news media to keep us informed as to what our government was up to. Most of the time by the time we found out it was already to late to do anything to prevent it and all we could do was lodge a complaint.Unfortunately there was not enough news or people listening to be able to prevent politicians from undermining the American people. The internet has changed that in a big way.The internet has become a weapon of We the People. Through the internet We the People now know just how corrupt our Government officials really are. Through the internet We the People have found out that the media is not the last bastion of unbiased truth. Through the internet we have discovered that the press is nothing more then Washington's propaganda machine. Through the internet we now have the ability to stop their schemes and dreams before they implement them. I really don't think they saw this coming I think they saw the internet as a tool for big business to keep us spending and a tool to monitor our behavior and moods in order to herd us on the path they have selected for us. Before the Bush administration we had to rely on the press to let us know what Washington was up to. By the time you got the word out and mobilized it was to late the law was passed and the only recourse was to take your chance with the courts which took years and tons of money. If you were able to succeed the damage was already done and irreparable. Today we have a tool that gives the power back to We the People we can get information out and mobilize in hours and days instead of weeks and months. Through the internet we have acquired a weapon of mass destruction. We must use this weapon freely and often. So I issue this warning stolen from the famed Texas Rangers to Washington DC and the nation's Press Corps. Our Eyes Are Upon You No Surrender No Retreat and No Compromise

  8. ****/// It is common knowledge that when the government say's "trust us", the last thing you do is trust them. The first thing you do is lawyer-up, then question everything, then vote them out. YOU keep the power. That's how it's designed... and it works -- if allowed to. Remember this line..? "We're from the government, we're here to help you".... Oy vay! <_</> The U.S. government has repeatedly attempted to make amends and bring about parity ever since those dark times in our history. . What each individual Indian/Tribe has decided to make of those opportunities is entirely up to them, as it is to every American now. It still may not be enough. (Personally, we have nothing against Tribal Casinos exacting their pound of flesh out of gamblers...! :lol:/> Excellent plan. Good for them!) What early Americans did to the First Americans was, indeed, a terrible thing. The Trail of Tears was most horrific, as only one of too many examples. Today's Americans bear no individual, personal responsibility for those tragedies any more than they bear individual, personal responsibility for acts against enslaved persons... (including white slaves and indentured servants in those times). The people who did those vile things are long since dead, and in hell -- or in Heaven (doubtful), their fate up to only the Almighty.... Ultimate Justice will certainly be served there -- AS IT SHOULD BE. That being said.... Truth be known: If the exact time of the dawn of destruction of The Americas and the indigineous people thereof is to be exposed, and as for who is responsible for the disease, disrespect, slaughter, theft, lies, slavery, abuse, rape, illness.... look no further than the vatican. And they're still up to no good, even today. They've even gone so far as to defile their own Church, Lord and Saviour with their misdeeds in the name of wealth and power using God and His Son as a smokescreen. Pathetic. So next time the government offers to "help" you, just remember.... they, (this administration especially), are only going to enslave you again. IF YOU LET THEM. Just say "no" to all those government handouts. Make your ForeFathers proud, pull yourself up by your own bootstraps, remind the government they work for you, and don't let them make it impossible for YOU to make your dreams happen here and now. Don't let them enslave you children by forcing them into financial chaos in the years to come. Take and make your stand HERE & NOW to prevent the government from denying you anymore of your birthright! Say "NO!" to any more slavery & lies! Fool me once, shame on you..... fool me twice, shame on me, right...? ;)/> ***/// Portions of the above provided from the journals of 'Ol Sarge. A Great American. ***///

  24. I am way too young to have heard these “Famous Quotes” at the time. I am somewhat shocked and wanted to forward them to you all: “Your Children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you finally wake up and find that you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.” Nikita Khrushchev 1959. Apparently this guy was banging his shoe on the podium at the UN just before he said it. And to think we fund the UN. “This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient and the world will follow our lead into the future.” Adolph Hitler – 1935. Please pass this along if you think it is needed. BW

These are ratios used to identify potential market reversal levels, and found in the Fibonacci sequence. The most popular Fibonacci Retracements are 61.8% and 38.2%. I get my handle from the Fibonacci 61.8 retracement... FIB1 618 Take Care.

  28. There is a lot of misdirected thoughts behind a lot of this thread. I got hit with a bunch of negs because I disagreed with the way the presenter hid behind a mask. I understand that making the video would expose "whoever it was" to be investigated. Maybe he should be. Maybe not. As far as I know "Anonymous" is just some kid having fun. Conflicts among people will always exist. How we handle conflict determines if we are mature adults are immature adults. Conflicts usually arise out of a desire to have power over someone else. Or, we want something and cannot get it without putting others down. We envy the position someone hold, the money they have, the popularity they receive and we cannot obtain those things so we fight and quarrel. Hearts that are full of self will always be hurt and must respond with cruelty and bitterness. Hearts that are full of God and love for others respond with patience and kindness, but sometimes with the truth that stings but has healing qualities.

  29. Liberty is the precious commodity of having choices within the bounds of law, which produces freedom. The rule of law in a Republic is changed by reason and debate underscored by the will of the people to make viable changes in a system bent on destroying unity and liberty among the people. When nations resort to rebellion and war to overthrow a government then we have descended to a true Third World government. Leadership that is forcefully removed and replaced by a leadership bent on staying in governmental power will of necessity be replaced by the next group bent on having them removed. Thus the pattern starts that has destroyed the very foundational principles of liberty. Daniel Webster understood the passion of good intentioned leaders when he wrote the following: “Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.” There may be many points on which I would agree with “Anonymous.” The Republic of Liberty is under attack by forces that would destroy the Constitution, enslave the people, and rob the treasury. Such action seems to be “acceptable” to the voters since fewer and fewer of them turn out for an election of the lowest to the highest office. Party squabbles and infighting to create a “group think” agenda has done much to weaken the resolve of the common citizen and we simply stay and home and declare that “it doesn’t make any difference if we vote or not.” The verbal battles, persistent barrage of negative and condemning accusations, and distortions of basic truth erode what trust we had in our party or group to which we listen. The sad truth is that “we the people” are now part of the “group-think” collective and have signed away our individuality for a “common cause” when we adhere to a party. Often people compromise their values in the belief that they will be heard later by the leader they put into office. It never happens and they have compromised away their individuality. And the very thing that will help repair the Republic is individualism and idealism. The attack on the Constitution and the Republic is only enhanced when division of a countries leadership takes place. Talk of rebellion and establishing a group to overthrow the USA leadership may be romantic and enhance our esteem and power, but it is fundamentally destruction to freedom. Do I disagree with the powers in Washington? Often! Would I try to persuade them to what I think is correct and right? Certainly! Would I take up arms to force my agenda? Absolutely not! Would I fight to protect the Constitute against all powers foreign and domestic? YES; if this is the last line of defense. But I am not going to get all whipped up and propagandized by someone in a mask or someone fully disclosed with name, rank, and serial number! Little tyrants are just as destruction to liberty as big tyrants. My liberty and my country mean a great deal to me. It is the grandest country in the world, but it is not all there is to my life. It isn’t even first, and I doubt if it is first in your life. Do we need to awake the nation to the threats to liberty? Certainly! But don’t do it by a Third World tactic of rebellion and bring in another despotic “rulership” of your own making. Nelg Glen Gray (No Masks!) Chattanooga, Tn

  30. Sorry I didn't respond sooner.. it was a very loooonnng day of work today... But Maggie- it breaks my heart to hear about your son... and I knew somehow that there was more going on with you than just what was happening in this thread. I understand your hurting and don't worry about it... I'll give forgiveness every time dear... cause I need it all the time myself too! If I may... let me try and speak a few words of encouragement. First off... when someone succeeds, or overcomes... there is within us the temptation to be jealous... it happens to all of us. If we think about it though...Reap what you sow/karma principle... however you look at it... how we respond will come back on us (good or bad) I'm lousy way too many times to count at that dear... but we "all" need to aim for bettering ourselves.... and for those we love. The fact that some pull out of a destructive life style should give us all hope. You've had a long haul... and I know that has to hurt... but as long as he is still breathing there is still hope... for reconciliation with his family and even with society. I've done some prison visitation, and worked around a lot of addicts. Yes... at times it feels hopeless, but then someone comes along and breaks the mold... and changes...... and it always blows me away with gratitude. Don't give up hope Maggie... your son is worth it!!! Not gonna lie to you though Maggie... I'm totally convinced my son's turn around was in answer to prayer.... and a huge part of that was the fine folks we rub shoulders with right here on DV. You don't have to believe that... that's fine. I'm just sharing where we feel our hope came from. So if I could be so bold... and you may have already tried it for years... but I'll suggest it anyways... try prayer, or just keep praying... and get some folks you trust to pray for you and your son. Imo... prayer changes things. I can't explain it... but I can't deny it either. I was totally blindsided by what happened with my son.... and totally blown away with the change he's had since then. I'll try and post a way overdue update for those interested.... but don't be jealous Maggie... I'm nobody special. You've got every right as me or anyone else to have your prayers answered. I'm not gonna lie to you about the timing either... sometimes it does take years... my mom raised 7 kids (all boys but one)... and believe me, she had her hands full!!! I think she spent a lot of time praying for us kids... and though it took years for some of us, for the most part we all turned out O.K.... but not without our fair share of bumps and bruises along the way if you know what I mean! Finally I'll say this... yes, I know this is "an investment site"... but I think a lot of us would agree... it's that... and a lot more. Some pretty neat relationships are being built here... and I think some of them are gonna last a long, long time. But one thing I know.... when your honest... like you just were, like I was a couple weeks back... folks will rally to come along side you, to encourage you, and yes... to pray for you... and they will help you carry that load. I learned I couldn't do it alone... neither do you dear. I hope I haven't scared you off or freaked you out... but your one of us here... and though we may not always agree (who does all the time anyways??? ) your still part of the family.... and we would be pretty poor humans if we ignored each others needs. I'm done rambling... but take heart, and have a little faith Maggie... things will work out for the good.... we just gotta believe!!! Yup... what kliklok00 said ... with a whole lot fewer words too I might add!!! Good job!!!

  31. My link Always try to bring the video to this site when it is possible and give a link back to the page you got the video from. The secret that we have found is that when you are trying to share a video with us you might have to do a little extra work as the short links provided when you hit the share button in youtube usually will not work on DV. I will sometimes chase down the same video on a few sites until someone shares the LONG LINK to that video. The LONG LINK will work when you use the "Insert Media" button. Usually when you find someone willing to share the video you will need to look for the options button and hit the long link button and then do a copy and paste!! Hope this helps Bump p.s. Youtube is very unfriendly when it comes to sharing videos these days so you might have to go to off sites to find the video with a long link!!!! See my links below next to videos to see what I am talking about

How about the way God meant us to be...FREE, as in, NOT slaves to evil men that wish to enslave us for their own eff'ed up ambition. I would rather die a free man fighting on my feet, than die a slave on my knees. Do you really think they would use nukes? They haven't used them against the terrorist and they've been fighting for over ten years. And those countries don't have near the population we have. Quit talking down about We the People defending our rights and just sit back and let the real men and women handle this.

  36. Yes, you absolutely can do that. A word of advice from experience though- I have had several reserves through the years, thinking that we were at the apex of an RV, I let them expire after nothing happened. I did the math on how much money I put into reserves versus how much money I could have put into outright buying dinar, and guess what...... I should have bought the dinar. Oh well, I laugh about it now, but it wasn't too much money, but it was a lesson well learned. Rich

  37. It occurs to me that not everyone might have the same definition of bashing... or be aware that others think their behavior/words are bashing. One person might take exception to taunting, while another might not like being the focal object of debate. And on and on. Maybe it would help if we were to be bit more specific as to what we mean by bashing... Otherwise, it won't be the first time that the people you are addressing don't have a clue its them (and kudos to the very cool DV buds in here who express the courage of insight or take responsibility for putting some of their stuff in check). Okay, I'll start... What I did on my summer vacation... oh wait.. different topic... I personally don't mind if people have contrary information about an RV, if they present it as a thoughtful position or opinion or question. Sometimes I think people are scared and ask things in the negative so they can get reassurance in positive replies... THen there are those who seem helllll bent on whizzing in everyone's Cheerios in order to be right that everyone is wrong and if everyone were as flippin smart as they are... we'd see it that way too..... (and keeping in mind some do have an agenda to be straight forward and educational in sharing their difference of opinion, and they maybe need to just brush up on not being so blunt... or continue getting negged... lol ) I personally only have one person on ignore and thats because it appears that the entire motivation of their posts is to find fault in the most minute detail, absent the context of the post, constantly debate the point being made, whatever it is, and not ever once, bringing anything to the post in terms of info, positive acknowledgement, encouragement or intention and leave a footprint of constant criticism, and almost arrogant tone of dismissal as to the merits of another view. My biggest annoyance are those posts that seem committed to polarizing, isolating or berating those who do not share the same opinion.... almost to the point of sounding ignorant as they attempt to wrap everything into one limited theme. Many times, their polarizing name calling vilification isn't even the genre of the post.... but they always seem to need to bring it back to that.... they reduce the contribution of the information or discussion to its lowest and often unrelated form. Unfortunately, this tends to divide, split and isolate people from each other and in fact creates an obstacle to the very accomplishment they want... as there is no longer strength left in standing together as one for the common goal... Let me be blunt in putting it out there in least someone miss the point. OF recent, the best example would be the gun debate.... I have strong feelings about the gun control issue. I would like to focus on that as the topic and issue upon which we either stand together, or get spit off into non productive isolated groups trading name calling quips. I am personally so frickin tired of posts that want to constantly derail the discussion by reducing it to a liberal name calling contest,..... as if liberal were a static, definable, empirical object!! There are some who don't add a day'um thing other than reducing the momentum of the discussion by injecting a few cute slams and name calling quips they then wrap up in the banner of patriotism... And I don't know that I would mind that so much, except it does not add one single, useful, productive, active, molecule of meaningful contribution to what should be a very important discussion... And fine disagree with me, but do it with productive respect. That fact someone can call people names... well its not the kind of useful skill I would want on my team. Nor is it someone I want to spend much time with.... its kind of a waste and leaves a negative taste and bad feelings anyway. I get we are angry. I understand it can at times make it easier to bear, if we can take our anger out on something else. I understand some people have to polarize or make others wrong in order to feel their passion... but direct that focus on the issue at hand... I mean saying those darn green eyed people are gonna be sorry if they take our guns, or those fat people are cowards, or those lower IQ people should all be sent to Chicago if they want strict gun laws, or those Bocce Ball players are entitled brats that only take....well that's just plain stupid if the goal is to intelligently discuss an issue and how we might come together in meeting it. Killing all the Bocce Ball players is not going to solve the very real issues we face.... Pretending we can do it as splintered groups.... is buying nicely into the hand of those who want you to believe that..... Its plain stupid to think of liberal and conservative as static absolutes... and a bit questionable to not recognize we are all on a continuum of that depending upon what the topic is..... Its more than myopic to think that our economic crisis is the possible consequence of the past 10 years, or 15 years, or this administration. Pretending that the fiscal cliff is a mere debate between two political parties that just happened to show up out of nowhere in the past few years, is to deny the entire history of our fiscal policies and pursuits... And holding on to the the magic that one party has all the answers and can miraculously cure all evils... is.... well not well rounded in thought or analysis... And its not productive, helpful, or in any way wise to continue dragging every conversation down to that level, and focusing efforts on twisting around in righteousness... which keeps us stuck nonetheless..... Oh maybe I should have kept it shorter by simply saying for me, bashing is the focused effort on name calling and vilifying every thing about which I disagree... and the need to turn every conversation into a pejorative slam of my political opponent.... and then pretending I am more righteous, correct, strong, brave, or patriotic for having done so... (while at the same time, taking us further from meaningful solutions..) Hummmmm leads me to wonder... maybe its the shills who are derailing us into focus upon something that will never lead to a solution and contain any possibility of solution by focusing us upon fighting over meaningless labels... Hummmm

  38. The following quotes by the authors of the Second Amendment, their contemporaries, various state and federal courts, and others should be useful in the debate over whether that amendment protects a right of individuals or only the military. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Second Amendment states: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "On every question of construction (of the Constitution) let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed." (Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Johnson, June 12, 1823, The Complete Jefferson, p. 322) "The whole of the Bill (of Rights) is a declaration of the right of the people at large or considered as individuals.... It establishes some rights of the individual as unalienable and which consequently, no majority has a right to deprive them of." (Albert Gallatin of the New York Historical Society, October 7, 1789) "The right of the people to keep and bear arms has been recognized by the General Government; but the best security of that right after all is, the military spirit, that taste for martial exercises, which has always distinguished the free citizens of these States....Such men form the best barrier to the liberties of America" - (Gazette of the United States, October 14, 1789.) "No Free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." (Thomas Jefferson, Proposal Virginia Constitution, 1 T. Jefferson Papers, 334,[C.J.Boyd, Ed., 1950]) "The right of the people to keep and bear...arms shall not be infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country..." (James Madison, I Annals of Congress 434 [June 8, 1789]) "A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves...and include all men capable of bearing arms." (Richard Henry Lee, Additional Letters from the Federal Farmer (1788) at 169) "What, Sir, is the use of a militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty.... Whenever Governments mean to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins." (Rep. Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts, spoken during floor debate over the Second Amendment [ I Annals of Congress at 750 {August 17, 1789}]) "...to disarm the people - that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." (George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 380) "Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." (James Madison, The Federalist Papers #46 at 243-244) "the ultimate authority ... resides in the people alone," (James Madison, author of the Bill of Rights, in Federalist Paper #46.) "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States" (Noah Webster in `An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution', 1787, a pamphlet aimed at swaying Pennsylvania toward ratification, in Paul Ford, ed., Pamphlets on the Constitution of the United States, at 56(New York, 1888)) "...if raised, whether they could subdue a Nation of freemen, who know how to prize liberty, and who have arms in their hands?" (Delegate Sedgwick, during the Massachusetts Convention, rhetorically asking if an oppressive standing army could prevail, Johnathan Elliot, ed., Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adoption of the Federal Constitution, Vol.2 at 97 (2d ed., 1888)) "...but if circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude, that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people, while there is a large body of citizens, little if at all inferior to them in discipline and use of arms, who stand ready to defend their rights..." (Alexander Hamilton speaking of standing armies in Federalist 29.) "Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation. . . Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." (James Madison, author of the Bill of Rights, in Federalist Paper No. 46.) "As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms." (Tench Coxe in `Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution' under the Pseudonym `A Pennsylvanian' in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789 at 2 col. 1) "Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people" (Tench Coxe, Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788) "The prohibition is general. No clause in the Constitution could by any rule of construction be conceived to give to Congress a power to disarm the people. Such a flagitious attempt could only be made under some general pretense by a state legislature. But if in any blind pursuit of inordinate power, either should attempt it, this amendment may be appealed to as a restraint on both." [William Rawle, A View of the Constitution 125-6 (2nd ed. 1829) "I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for few public officials." (George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 425-426) "The Constitution shall never be construed....to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms" (Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87) "To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms, and be taught alike especially when young, how to use them." (Richard Henry Lee, 1788, Initiator of the Declaration of Independence, and member of the first Senate, which passed the Bill of Rights, Walter Bennett, ed., Letters from the Federal Farmer to the Republican, at 21,22,124 (Univ. of Alabama Press,1975)..) "The great object is that every man be armed" and "everyone who is able may have a gun." (Patrick Henry, in the Virginia Convention on the ratification of the Constitution. Debates and other Proceedings of the Convention of Virginia,...taken in shorthand by David Robertson of Petersburg, at 271, 275 2d ed. Richmond, 1805. Also 3 Elliot, Debates at 386) "The people are not to be disarmed of their weapons. They are left in full possession of them." (Zachariah Johnson, 3 Elliot, Debates at 646) "Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?" (Patrick Henry, 3 J. Elliot, Debates in the Several State Conventions 45, 2d ed. Philadelphia, 1836) "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed." (Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers at 184-8) "That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of The United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms..." (Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, at 86-87 (Peirce & Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)) "And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms....The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants" (Thomas Jefferson in a letter to William S. Smith in 1787. Taken from Jefferson, On Democracy 20, S. Padover ed., 1939) "Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined" (Patrick Henry, 3 J. Elliot, Debates in the Several State Conventions 45, 2d ed. Philadelphia, 1836) "The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson) "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence ... From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that is good" (George Washington) "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks. (Thomas Jefferson, Encyclopedia of T. Jefferson, 318 [Foley, Ed., reissued 1967]) "The supposed quietude of a good mans allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside...Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them..." (Thomas Paine, I Writings of Thomas Paine at 56 [1894]) "...the people are confirmed by the next article in their right to keep and bear their private arms" (from article in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette June 18, 1789 at 2, col.2,) "Those, who have the command of the arms in a country are masters of the state, and have it in their power to make what revolutions they please. [Thus,] there is no end to observations on the difference between the measures likely to be pursued by a minister backed by a standing army, and those of a court awed by the fear of an armed people." (Aristotle, as quoted by John Trenchard and Water Moyle, An Argument Shewing, That a Standing Army Is Inconsistent with a Free Government, and Absolutely Destructive to the Constitution of the English Monarchy [London, 1697]) "No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion." (James Burgh, Political Disquisitions: Or, an Enquiry into Public Errors, Defects, and Abuses [London, 1774-1775]) "Men that are above all Fear, soon grow above all Shame." (John Trenchard and Thomas Gordon, Cato's Letters: Or, Essays on Liberty, Civil and Religious, and Other Important Subjects [London, 1755]) "The difficulty here has been to persuade the citizens to keep arms, not to prevent them from being employed for violent purposes." (Dwight, Travels in New-England) "What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms." (Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, Dec. 20, 1787, in Papers of Jefferson, ed. Boyd et al.) (The American Colonies were) "all democratic governments, where the power is in the hands of the people and where there is not the least difficulty or jealousy about putting arms into the hands of every man in the country. (European countries should not) be ignorant of the strength and the force of such a form of government and how strenuously and almost wonderfully people living under one have sometimes exerted themselves in defence of their rights and liberties and how fatally it has ended with many a man and many a state who have entered into quarrels, wars and contests with them." [George Mason, "Remarks on Annual Elections for the Fairfax Independent Company" in The Papers of George Mason, 1725-1792, ed Robert A. Rutland (Chapel Hill, 1970)] "To trust arms in the hands of the people at large has, in Europe, been believed...to be an experiment fraught only with danger. Here by a long trial it has been proved to be perfectly harmless...If the government be equitable; if it be reasonable in its exactions; if proper attention be paid to the education of children in knowledge and religion, few men will be disposed to use arms, unless for their amusement, and for the defence of themselves and their country." (Timothy Dwight, Travels in New England and NewYork [London 1823] "It is not certain that with this aid alone [possession of arms], they would not be able to shake off their yokes. But were the people to posses the additional advantages of local governments chosen by themselves, who could collect the national will, and direct the national force; and of officers appointed out of the militia, by these governments and attached both to them and to the militia, it may be affirmed with the greatest assurance, that the throne of every tyranny in Europe would be speedily overturned, in spite of the legions which surround it." (James Madison, "Federalist No. 46") "The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them. And yet, though this truth would seem so clear, and the importance of a well regulated militia would seem so undeniable, it cannot be disguised, that among the American people there is a growing indifference to any system of militia discipline, and a strong disposition, from a sense of its burthens, to be rid of all regulations. How it is practicable to keep the people duly armed without some organization, it is difficult to see. There is certainly no small danger, that indifference may lead to disgust, and disgust to contempt; and thus gradually undermine all the protection intended by this clause of our national bill of rights." (Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States; With a Preliminary Review of the Constitutional History of the Colonies and States before the Adoption of the Constitution [boston, 1833]) "The tank, the B-52, the fighter-bomber, the state-controlled police and military are the weapons of dictatorship. The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979]) "You are bound to meet misfortune if you are unarmed because, among other reasons, people despise you....There is simply no comparison between a man who is armed and one who is not. It is unreasonable to expect that an armed man should obey one who is unarmed, or that an unarmed man should remain safe and secure when his servants are armed. In the latter case, there will be suspicion on the one hand and contempt on the other, making cooperation impossible." (Niccolo Machiavelli in "The Prince") "You must understand, therefore, that there are two ways of fighting: by law or by force. The first way is natural to men, and the second to beasts. But as the first way often proves inadequate one must needs have recourse to the second." (Niccolo Machiavelli in "The Prince") "As much as I oppose the average person's having a gun, I recognize that some people have a legitimate need to own one. A wealthy corporate executive who fears his family might get kidnapped is one such person. A Hollywood celebrity who has to protect himself from kooks is another. If Sharon Tate had had access to a gun during the Manson killings, some innocent lives might have been saved." [Joseph D. McNamara (San Jose, CA Police Chief), in his book, Safe and Sane, © 1984, p. 71-72.] "To prohibit a citizen from wearing or carrying a war arm . . . is an unwarranted restriction upon the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege." [Wilson v. State, 33 Ark. 557, at 560, 34 Am. Rep. 52, at 54 (1878)] For, in principle, there is no difference between a law prohibiting the wearing of concealed arms, and a law forbidding the wearing such as are exposed; and if the former be unconstitutional, the latter must be so likewise. But it should not be forgotten, that it is not only a part of the right that is secured by the constitution; it is the right entire and complete, as it existed at the adoption of the constitution; and if any portion of that right be impaired, immaterial how small the part may be, and immaterial the order of time at which it be done, it is equally forbidden by the constitution." [bliss vs. Commonwealth, 12 Ky. (2 Litt.) 90, at 92, and 93, 13 Am. Dec. 251 (1822)] " `The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the milita, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State. Our opinion is that any law, State or Federal, is repugnant to the Constitution, and void, which contravenes this right." [Nunn vs. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846)] "The provision in the Constitution granting the right to all persons to bear arms is a limitation upon the power of the Legislature to enact any law to the contrary. The exercise of a right guaranteed by the Constitution cannot be made subject to the will of the sheriff." [People vs. Zerillo, 219 Mich. 635, 189 N.W. 927, at 928 (1922)] "The maintenance of the right to bear arms is a most essential one to every free people and should not be whittled down by technical constructions." [state vs. Kerner, 181 N.C. 574, 107 S.E. 222, at 224 (1921)] "The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the "high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and `is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power." [Cockrum v. State, 24 Tex. 394, at 401-402 (1859)]

  42. Since becoming a member here, I have been fortunate enough to chat and become internet friends with a lot of nice people. These people are not judged by me from where they come from nor what color or beliefs they may have. As I talk to people, I feel that they have become an extended part of my family and good friends. I know many people here in DV and other websites I read are going through many different trials in their life, for I have taken the time to read their posts. I read peoples stories of people losing their houses, having medical bills, losing their jobs, ect. I understand completely why they would want to or have to sell their Dinar to get by. I too have had times past that were not good for me financially and have lost my home and had to sell things that I really didn't want to sell, just to make the bills for the month. I have been fortunate enough that I have since recovered, thanks to Gods good graces'. Now I am reading and hearing several people doubt that this will ever happen and when they put that in front of me, I have to question why? Their response is simple, they are tired of the wait. I catch myself questioning myself on this once in a while and I start thinking about other investments I have made. I have made investments in the past that was like this one in the aspect that the cost to get in was very little per share, good thing because I didn't have much money. I bought American Airlines for $6.00 per share and everyone I talked to about it said it was a bad investment. I told about the research I did to a financial advisor, he said it was to risky. No matter how much I tried to get my family member to invest, they listened to the advisor. Well the stock got up to $47.00 per share. I knew over a period of time it was going to go back up, I just had to wait. Another stock I bought into was at the time $3.00+ per share, I don't recall the exact figure, and with all the research I knew this would go up, again over a period of time. Today that stock is $60.00+ per share. I like to think that this investment is like those stocks, it will go up over a period of time and the problem is we do not know how much time. I know people have their reasons for selling their Dinar and most are good reasons, but to those who are losing patience, please re-think your move. I for one do not want to take the chance of missing out IF this does come out the way we would like. I can see the potential, but it is a slow moving train. I am not a pumper, seller, shill, guru, nor am I rich, but I do hope to be one day. Think of it like this. When we start working in our early years we think about retiring. For us to retire, it takes time, hard work, and PATIENCE. Just expressing my thoughts and my opinion. ty.
