  1. 10:18 AM [Adam Montana] I know! I am here now because I have about 15 minutes... is anyone available to copy my chat? 10:18 AM [linda56] Adam Montana , good monin sir 10:19 AM [Adam Montana] vietnam1969 I messed up the numbers 10:19 AM [Monielynn] good ? ........... Mods 10:19 AM [Adam Montana] *crickets* 10:19 AM [vietnam1969] Adam Montana yes I saw that 10:19 AM [Monielynn] where is a mod when we need 1 10:19 AM [Dinarkicker] GO for it sir 10:19 AM [Adam Montana] monielynn 10:19 AM [Adam Montana] DK thank you! 10:19 AM [Adam Montana] ok everyone, official chat in progress 10:19 AM [Monielynn] ready set GO! 10:20 AM [Adam Montana] Hey everyone, another week another Dinar, right? 10:20 AM [Adam Montana] no RV yet, and depsite some awesome news last week on the HCL - it's not quite done yet 10:21 AM [Adam Montana] nothing I can do about that, nor is there anything you can do about it... but we can all see that things are still good and there's no reason to be discouraged 10:21 AM [Adam Montana] impatient, maybe.. but not discouraged 10:22 AM [Adam Montana] There are some GREAT questions in the weekly chat question thread this week, and I am going to address them if possible - but I don't see it happening today. I have some incredible things happening on the VIP side of this site, and my schedule is just packed to the brim today and also tomorrow. 10:23 AM [Adam Montana] These chats generally take a couple hours, believe it or not... they can be quite intense. So I just want to apologize in advance if I have to skip this week's chat 10:23 AM [Adam Montana] anyway! Here's the latest 10:23 AM [Adam Montana] the HCL is being discussed in national news more and more 10:23 AM [Adam Montana] many of you have noticed that, and I see a lot of excitement about it... and for good reason 10:24 AM [Adam Montana] there is also talk that the new currency, and thereby the RV, may be delayed until the new calendar year 10:25 AM [Adam Montana] I don't expect them to announce the RV in this fashion, so this information may or may not be precisely relevant... but if they are truly delaying releasing the new currency until the new year, then we can plan on waiting that long to see the RV announced 10:25 AM [Adam Montana] of course, they could just be full of "it" and announce it tomorrow (SURPRISE!) and also release the currency then too 10:26 AM [Adam Montana] it makes the most sense to do it that way, to prevent a huge run on the currency from speculators 10:27 AM [Adam Montana] the bottom line is this: 1. We are waiting for a resolution on the HCL, and they are making headway. Lots of good news there this week and last. 2. We don't expect them to give us a legitimate "heads up" when they are going to RV - it will happen as "unexpectedly" as possible to preserve their profit margin. If you don't know what their profit margin is, you need to read the "Cash In Guide". 3. There is no bad news right now! And for that, I give our situation a 10:28 AM [Adam Montana] and on that note... I am officially late for my next meeting, so I have to jet. Thank you all for understanding, I will definitely try to get the weekly Q&A done by the end of the weekend. 10:28 AM [Dinarkicker] Ok I will post this in the forum 10:28 AM [Adam Montana] Cheers everyone, stay sane and be well Topic: open floor 10:29 AM [vietnam1969] Great news Adam and as usual you are always on top of things. 10:29 AM [Monielynn] Adam Montana Laters 10:29 AM [Adam Montana] thanks DK, glad you were here! 10:29 AM [jon29] thanks Adam. 10:29 AM [powerpager] Thanks Adam 10:29 AM [Priscilla] thanks Adam 10:29 AM [Dinarkicker] Adam Montana I try 10:29 AM [Adam Montana] PS everyone owes DK a dollar 10:29 AM [Monielynn] Adam Montana 10:29 AM [Dinarkicker] yessssss

  2. [shredd] kaperoni hey kap [kaperoni] hi [kaperoni] i brought you something [shredd] how about that news of new council? [kaperoni] You are aware of this from the CBI I am sure [shredd] ok,bring it [kaperoni] http://www.cbi.iq/documents/press%20for%207-10-2012.pdf [kaperoni] I got it translated [shredd] geez [shredd] ok, [shredd] translate plz [kaperoni] Here is the translation of this press release.... The CBI is aware of rumors circulating re the delay of eliminating the 3 zeros, we hereby reassert the importance of this project to the public interest, the economy and the country in general. There has been a temporary postponement in order to further coordinate between the CBI, the executive and legislative branches even though the CBI has done its task in preparing for the transition..Furthermore upon completing the printing of the new currency we remind the public that putting the new currency in circulation has to be at the beginning of the year (any year) and not during the year.. Please do not spread any rumors; always refer to the CBI announcements for this matter.. [shredd] oh yes, i read your translation this am [shredd] great to see [kaperoni] thought i would bring it here [kaperoni] so your people can have it too [shredd] yes! thank you sir [kaperoni] now [kaperoni] on your news [kaperoni] interesting for sure [kaperoni] but i have questions [shredd] i do too [shredd] what are yours [kaperoni] same as yours [kaperoni] settled that [shredd] so i gotta say, i'm interested to see what happens to the trading platform you been talking about [kaperoni] me too [kaperoni] i think this part is interesting... [shredd] so folks may be able to sell their dinar to this entity [kaperoni] the CBI has done its task in preparing for the transition. [shredd] so that they can sell to other central banks in order for them to inflate their reserves of the dinar? [shredd] do i have that right? [kaperoni] shredd, yes that will be the mechanisum we sell our dinar through [kaperoni] so shredd, that part about the CBI... [kaperoni] IMO, includes this agreement to free float [kaperoni] the CBI has done its task in preparing for the transition. [kaperoni] meaning they have the deal done and ready to go to raise the value of the dinar [shredd] i read that in the translation....very interesting [shredd] for a free float, i don't see it slowly creeping [shredd] do you? [kaperoni] nope [shredd] i mean, demand will take off [kaperoni] free float [kaperoni] that was what i was told [kaperoni] and so far the information has been accurate [kaperoni] he said, you will see the announcement of the 3 zeros put off [kaperoni] and sure enough [shredd] so, has any other central bank gone from a dirty float, to a free float and then back to a managed float? [kaperoni] it happened [kaperoni] he said, it will free float [kaperoni] well that is not fact yet [kaperoni] i dont know [kaperoni] hoping soon [kaperoni] now [shredd] see, that's the deal with me [shredd] i just dont know if they can go back [shredd] and if they can't [kaperoni] they can do whatever they want [shredd] a free float could escalate pretty quick [kaperoni] well it depends [kaperoni] the CBI controls the liquidity [kaperoni] so they can control the rate of rise [kaperoni] by turning off/on the dinar sales [kaperoni] to fast, put more dinar out [kaperoni] to slow, shut off supply [kaperoni] wish i knew more about it [shredd] auctions stop when it is internationally tradeable [kaperoni] but they are tight lipped [shredd] well, and rightly so [kaperoni] i will say this...i saw with my own eyes the trading room [shredd] and? [kaperoni] so its real [shredd] this intermediary has to have a bank behind it [kaperoni] no reason to build it for nothing [shredd] to cash out, etc. [kaperoni] yes [kaperoni] banks are behind it [shredd] ok, US bank? [kaperoni] on an instutional level [shredd] i mean a domestic bank [kaperoni] not on a consumer level [kaperoni] yes [kaperoni] domestic banks [kaperoni] several [kaperoni] are funding the ECN [shredd] ok, so if they are existing domestic banks, we don't have to worry about kyc delays [kaperoni] or market maker [shredd] our banks verifying sources of funds, etc [kaperoni] kyc? [shredd] ok, so this ECN is structured more like a fund? [shredd] kyc = know your customer [kaperoni] oh no [kaperoni] no problems [shredd] ok [kaperoni] bank transfers [shredd] eft [shredd] ok [shredd] so, another question.... [shredd] you mentioned last night [shredd] that some of us may choose to hold some dinar throught the ECN and cash out later? [shredd] ride it out [kaperoni] thought you were talking kfc for a minute...and i got hungry [shredd] why couldn't we just do that on our own? [kaperoni] maybe you can [kaperoni] the concern we have is banks [shredd] ok, so in no case will anyone be able to deposit their dinar and not get it exchanged right away [kaperoni] i dont know of a bank that will be accepting the dinar from street consumers [shredd] its immediate? [kaperoni] and if there was, the spread would be 8% or higher [kaperoni] i dont get that question [shredd] right, unless they competitively try to get it from us [kaperoni] i dont think they will [kaperoni] but we see [kaperoni] lots unknown at this point [shredd] if they go to a free float, they will be on the level with other exotic currencies though [kaperoni] i dont know [shredd] hmm, we wait [kaperoni] sorry have to go [kaperoni] take care [shredd] you too, good talk [tlm724] kaperoni ty [kaperoni] see ya all [kaperoni] thanks for letting me come in and play [shredd] anytime

  4. NEW YORK – As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues. Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992. Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no God except Allah.” The Shahada is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam, expressing the two fundamental beliefs that make a person a Muslim: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is Allah’s prophet. Sincere recitation of the Shahada is the sole requirement for becoming a Muslim, as it expresses a person’s rejection of all other gods Egyptian-born Islamic scholar Mark A. Gabriel, Ph.D., examined photographs of Obama’s ring at WND’s request and concluded that the first half of the Shahada is inscribed on it. “There can be no doubt that someone wearing the inscription ‘There is no god except Allah’ has a very close connection to Islamic beliefs, the Islamic religion and Islamic society to which this statement is so strongly attached,” Gabriel told WND. “Dreams from My Real Father” producer Joel Gilbert, an Arabic speaker and an expert on the Middle East, was the first to conclude that Obama’s ring, reportedly from Indonesia, bore an Islamic inscription. Photographs published last week by the New Yorker from Obama’s time at Occidental College, taken by fellows students, indicate that the ring Obama wore three decades ago is the one he is wearing in the White House. As WND reported in July, previously published photos have shown Obama wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger continuously from 1981 at Occidental, through graduation at Columbia in 1983, in a visit to Africa in 1988 and during his time at Harvard from 1988 to 1991. But none, until now, have displayed the ring with enough detail to identify it as the one he currently is wearing. WND reported a satirical edition of the Harvard Law Review published by students in 1990 contains a mock Dewers Scotch profile advertisement poking fun at Obama. Among a list of Obama’s “Latest Accomplishments” is: “Deflecting Persistent Questioning About Ring On Left Hand.” The comment suggests the ring was a subject of student curiosity at the time and that Obama was not forthcoming with an explanation. He still has not explained why he wore the band on his wedding-ring finger before he married Michelle. Declaration Gabriel, born to Muslim parents in Upper Egypt, grew up immersed in Islamic culture. He memorized the Quran at age of 12 and graduated in 1990 with a Masters degree from the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the preeminent Sunni Muslim institution of learning. He explained that on Obama’s ring, the declaration “There is no god except Allah” (La Ilaha Illallah) is inscribed in two sections, one above the other. On the upper section, “There is no god” is written in Arabic letters, from right to left: Lam, Alif, Alif, Lam, Ha. On the lower section is “except god,” written in Arabic letters from right to left: Alif, Lam, Alif, Alif, Lam, Lam, Ha. In the lower section, the word “Allah” is written partially on top of the word “except,” noted Gabriel, the author of “Islam and Terrorism” and “Journey Inside the Mind of an Islamic Terrorist.” It is common in Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy, especially when expressing Quranic messages on jewelry, to artfully place letters on top of each other to fit them into the allotted space. The exhibit below shows how the Arabic inscription fits over the two parts of the Obama ring. “There is no God except Allah” overlaid on Obama ring Barack Obama and roommate Hasan Chandoo at Occidental College in 1981 Read more and see more photos..... http://www.wnd.com/2012/10/obamas-ring-there-is-no-god-but-allah/

  6. dinar_dud, I could tell you didn't have an education, but really, you can't even spell CHECKS? How sad! You are the kind Obama appeals to, since you can't make it on your own efforts, vote Obama so you can keep collecting your government CHECK. You really should be the poster child of the MOOCHER class. Your post have done more for the MOOCHER class than anyone else s. Need me to buy you some more food stamps? Just say so. Hell, I'm generous, I may even throw in some minutes for your free Obama phone. Just let me know and I'll set it up for you.

  7. Do I think Obama is a Christian? NO! Do I think he's a Muslim? Maybe.... ....there is evidence... But if I had to guess, I'd say he worships the devil....or George Soros....or perhaps he has his own God complex and he worships himself......but I repeat myself!

  8. My honest 2 cents, I don't care if the ring is gold or silver or which hand it is worn on or even which finger. My concern is the message on the ring. "There is no god except Allah" He still has not explained why he wore the band on his wedding-ring finger before he married Michelle. Avoiding a simple answer of this so called wedding band, leads me to think otherwise of him. Islamic blood is running through his veins, is what I'm reading from this thread.

  9. One should always be prepared for this question with a simple answer. So, if someone asks you what the main difference is between most of the Obama supporters and Romney supporters, instead of stammering and stuttering and looking for an answer, just tell them that the Romney supporters sign their checks on the front, and the Obama supporters sign their checks on the back.

  10. CNN. We Interrupt This Broadcast For Something Big ..... 10-10-2012 Intel Guru TerryK I GOT TO HOLD BACK ON THE BIG NEWS. I WAS TOLD IF I TOLD YOU IN HERE THEY WOULD PUT ME IN JAIL, NO **** OPPS. JUST KNOW ITS BIG, THE BIGGEST NEWS EVER, BIGGER THAN...I GOT TO SHUT UP. Thug Note: We Now Resume With Our Regularly Scheduled Sound Bytes ..... 10-10-2012 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG “…the President of the Republic National announce the date of the meeting in the next few days, after the arrival of the talks by the leaders of political blocs, to advanced stages”. So it looks like Talibani might announce a National Meeting in a few days (after he gets the main leaders a little closer together)…and Allawi is having a big session this Wednesday. That’s all good. However, if Maliki is just playing games – I have said all along, they will remove him. 10-9-2012 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Article: "KRG gets oil payment from Baghdad, exports to flow" Fantastic news – it’s still being paid in Dinars, however, the fact that Baghdad is actually making good on an agreement is HUGE!! 10-10-2012 Newshound Guru Breitling We all know that they are artificially holding down the value of the dinar. There is an article that says they will start giving people dinar for U.S. dollars. That means the start of reversing the policy that has kept the dinar artificially down. This is one of the biggest pieces of news we have had since we have been in the dinar community. [Does Iraq need to be released from Chapter 7 prior to being able to revalue their currency...] They can raise the value of their currency without being out of Chapter 7, there is no law against that. If I was them that is what I would do. But, them having a managed float, that is very hard for me to swallow. They can revalue whenever they want. It's a timing issue. It is important that they get out of Chapter 7, but can revalue and never be out of Chapter 7. The getting out of Chapter 7 isn't dependent on their currency. Their are other stipulations that they have to comply to also. There might be more to it than revaluing their currency to getting out of Chapter 7.

  11. American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed, against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared for on and off during the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather than the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blinds the foolish. Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were, for the most part, little more than Sunday circuses. Their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more than happy to sell out their souls and flocks so that they were on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when the chursh leaders explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America . The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America 's short history, but in the world. If this keeps up for more than another year, (and there is no sign that it will not) America, at best, will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe. These past two weeks have been the most breath-taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, brought about by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, losses, and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look like little more than ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the sheer volumes. Should we congratulate them? These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties, and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, Congress has put up little more than a whimper to their masters. Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motors) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self-given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions. So it should be no surprise that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less than two months ago, warned Obama and UK 's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western-sponsored horror show, we know nothing, but are foolish, drunken Russians, and so we will let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride. Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "free man" whimper. So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance, and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Frank, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked-down-upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and if taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive. The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left. The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest, and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker. http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/27-04-2009/107459-american_capitalism-0/

Also, they don't usually wear a ring on their left "ring" finger. Because a wedding ring on the left ring finger is a symbol of a Christian marriage, no muslim wears rings on the left hand. (Besides, that's the hand they wipe their a$$es with. )

  18. Saw this and it just really struck me to the core.... Yes... I know there are a lot of varying political views and beliefs here at DV... there is bound to be, cause we are all different. The point is if you think the direction our country is heading in is just fine with you... then just go ahead and go back to sleep. But I for one want to be aware of what's happening, and do something about it... and not be one of these.... I remember something my bro. in-law said right after the last election... "finally... this may just be what America needs to shake them up... to be pushed so hard into Socialism that they finally wake up from their complacency"!!! This is no game folks... blood has been spilled for generations for our freedom and at the rate it's going it could sink beyond return very quickly. Is that a scare tactic of mine???... No... just the truth as I see it. Is Mitt Romney and The Republican Party the Answer???... probably not long term. But Obama is definitely not the answer imo. Oh you can go ahead and vote for him if you like Socialism, and apologizing to every corrupt dictator and terrorist in the world! Sorry, but I won't be joining that line... I believe in Independence for our country politically, and dependence upon God for our moral foundation and how we treat our fellow man. No... America isn't perfect... I never said it was... but it's got some very good qualities if we will let those shine. If we get our voice taken away however... how are we going to stand up for what we believe and make a difference in the world??? These are just some of my thoughts, opinions, and ramblings... let the bashing begin!!! This is one quote that has never been more true for me... ."I love my country, I just don't trust my government"!!!

WE CAN REMOVE THE ENTIRE GOVT AND PUT IN A MILITARY GOVT WITH A PLAN. 10-9-2012 Newshound Gurus Med & Mailman17 REMEMBER THE ORIGINAL CHAPTER VII, WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE UNDER, ALLOWS THE COALITION FORCES TO REMOVE THE GOI. 24. The article is long but this is addressed.... Gabriel believes it would be impossible for Obama not to be aware of what is written on the ring, calling it a “blessed statement in Islam.” “By wearing this religious statement on one’s hand, it connects the person to Islam,” he said. “It is worn in hopes that Allah’s protections would be with the person, in hopes of gaining favor with Allah.” He affirmed that Muslim men do wear gold rings, despite prohibitions in Islamic law. “Though Islamic law prohibits the wearing of gold jewelry by men, it is a widely accepted custom, even in strictly Muslim countries,” he said. “The wearing of gold rings is even more acceptable when it contains a religious message, such as ‘There is no god except Allah.’” He noted there is also widespread acceptance of men wearing gold jewelry in non-Arab Islamic societies such as Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Pakistan, where Muslims generally understand that Muslims are subject to strong influences of local non-Arab cultures. “Therefore, even though technically prohibited, a Muslim man wearing a gold ring is not looked down upon, especially if the jewelry reflects a love of Islam and a connection to Islamic society,” he said. “An even greater level of acceptance is for businessmen who deal with infidels, because such a person would be regarded as a person of influence.”

  25. Also FYI, Muslim men do not wear gold (nor silk). These are haraam (forbidden) for men. A silver or tungsten ring could be worn, but only if worn without any superstition. If tainted by a belief that the ring itself can affect the quality of the marriage, then the ring becomes shirk, a form of idolatry. If the ring is worn with the desire to "fit in" with unislamic westerners, then it becomes a form of imitating unbelievers, and that is haraam. A man's ring should be relatively small (less than 4.5 grams) and should be functional: it is recommended that it have a single stone and be engraved with his name so that it can be used as a signet for stamping or sealing, or engraved with a or with a rememberance of God (zikr); and it should be worn on the pinky finger.

BAGHDAD / future Iraqi Sources close access for the dozens of giant American transport aircraft Hercules C-130 to land at Al Asad west of Baghdad on successive trips. The sources pointed out that required anonymity that the fall of such aircraft and this size is suspicious and confirms reports of serious U.S. administration re troops to Iraq again, especially after the failure of Iraqi forces to holding file security in the country with that its numbers up to a million people, which addressed Western media last week. U.S. magazine The Nation quoted last week that U.S. military official squad of U.S. Special Forces recently returned to Iraq on a mission and described the fight against terrorism, in the magazine said. The magazine found that this return means admission of failure, and that the situation in the troubled country not stabilized, and that the decision for a full withdrawal from Iraq was a mistake. Observers believe that the return of U.S. troops come because of fears of infiltration Sunni insurgent groups in Iraq in the event of the fall of the regime of Bashar Assad in Syria which will strengthen down counterparts there raises fears of a return of sectarian fighting in the country and may be bloodier than what happened years 2006 - 2007 . their part, others argue that these things come under intense electoral battle between U.S. President Obama and Romney, especially since the opponents I loathe it describe it weak foreign policy, arguing that the U.S. military withdrawal from Iraq make it fall under Iranian influence. The third opinion goes to the American presence return to Iraq comes in line with the high frequency statements on the implementation of an imminent military strike on Iran targeting its nuclear facilities after refusing to bow to the decisions of the international community. http://www.nenosplace.com/showthread.php?64611-Hercules-C-130-aircraft-landing-at-Baghdad-airport-base-Large-American-force-up-to

  33. Desmo the only personal connection I have with the ring is the one I have given it. The purpose of buying it and wearing it is to appreciate my time in Africa and to always remember the wonderful experiences I had there. Perhaps Obama bought this ring as a momento of his trip to Africa or to honor his healing with the death of his father. I don't know and you don't either. Even though he is our President he is free to hold his own personal connections to his ring as he chooses. He is an American, Right? Also I think dinar_stud pretty well debunked this...

  35. You win the prize.. If there is any truth, or follow through on these accusations, the CBI would face take over by the brother-in-law guild of the "financial experts" in parliament. The western world has a term for this chain of events; it is known as " Nationalization ". Maliki gets the opportunity to pilfer $67 billion USD worth of Foreign Reserves, and reprint the currency with his picture on the front. BTW, for those who wonder, this will not trigger a RV. If this happens, the exchange rate we see today, would be a high point. Maliki can "declare" the value to be higher, but the only ones ignorant enough to believe that are members of the Ministry of Finance in Parliament. The rest of the world won't be buying that steaming, hot, pile... We can all hope that this attempt will be the straw that breaks Maliki's Political Back. Hopefully, someone there, who realizes the outcome of this ploy, will "convince" Maliki that this is a bad approach..

  36. How Many Chevy Volt Batteries Did $150 Million in Gov’t Money Make? (Hint: Less Than One) Just days after President Obama spoke to supporters in Los Angeles about his push for green energy, another government-sponsored, green energy-related manufacturing company announced layoffs. The company, Compact Power, was the recipient of $150 million taxpayer dollars and millions more in tax deferments and credits. Compact Power was supposed to be building thousands of batteries for the Chevy Volt here in America. Instead, they are furloughing workers before producing a single battery, Fox News reports. Not one. Chevy Volt Battery Maker Compact Power Lays Off Employees Compact Power’s parent company, LG Chem announced that workers will be placed on “rotating furloughs” (they’ll be working just three weeks each month). The South Korea-based operation is a $14 billion dollar manufacturing enterprise that employs over 14,000 workers worldwide — approximately 200 in Michigan. Chevy Volt Battery Maker Compact Power Lays Off Employees It was in 2010 that the Obama administration announced that the government would be awarding $150 million of the $300 million needed to construct the 650,000 square foot plant. Over two years ago, President Obama spoke at the ground breaking ceremony in Holland, Michigan. During his speech to the crowd gathered to declare Michigan to be the “North American Battery Capitol” President Obama told the crowd: “The workers at this plant are already slated to produce batteries for the new Chevy Volt, learned the other day that they’re also going to be supplying batteries for the new electric Ford Focus as soon as this operation gears up. And that means, by 2012, the batteries that will be manufactured here in Holland, Michigan. So when you buy one of these vehicles, the battery could be stamped — made in America.” Initial estimates projected that the facility would be cranking out 15,000 of those “Made In America” Volt batteries each year. Contrary to Mr. Obama’s statement, and despite a $150 million dollar injection of taxpayer dollars, plus millions in tax credits to the company, not one battery for the Chevy Volt has come from the Michigan plant. Currently, all of the Volt batteries are being built in South Korea and shipped to America. The blame is placed on lagging sales of GM’s alleged “game changing” vehicle. Fox News spoke with Randy Boileau, a representative for LG Chem about the layoffs, and he stressed that the plant will return to its projected output once Volt production returns later this month and demand for batteries increases. Boileau was also quick to point out that workers will be able to file for and collect unemployment benefits for the week of work they will lose each month of the furlough. Exactly one month ago we reported that GM is losing and estimated $50,000 per Chevy Volt. We speculate that the $150 million spent to build a battery plant that has yet to provide a single battery for the unpopular car might drive that loss per vehicle even higher. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/how-many-chevy-volt-batteries-will-150-million-make-hint-less-than-one/

  37. Let’s look at the evidence itself. Here’s a photograph of Barack Obama’s golden ring, along with some rings that are clearly identified as Shahadah rings worn by actual Muslims. There isn’t much similarity between Barack Obama’s ring and the examples of Shahadah rings that I found. In fact, I couldn’t find a single example of a Shahadah ring that looks anything all like Barack Obama’s ring. (In case you’re wondering, Snopes hasn’t written on this particular conspiracy theory yet.) Next, let’s look at the part of the Shahadah script that Jerome Corsi, Mark Gabriel and Joel Gilbert say can be seen in the photograph of Obama’s ring, along with other representations of the same piece of the Shahadah script, found elsewhere. As you can see, there is a great deal of variability in representations of the Arabic script of the part of the the Shahadah that is translated as “there is no god but Allah”. The versions of this section of the Shahadah that I could find look little like the script that Corsi and his “experts” say they see on that ring. Just more Corsi birther BS, how about we look up Corsi's pic and see what we can find.. Well look at that a Confederate flag on his lapel, now we know why he attacks Obama. Better proof of why Corsi pushes the birther BS will never be found.

  39. An electronic communication network (ECN) is a financial term for a type of computer system that facilitates trading of financial products outside of stock exchanges. The primary products that are traded on ECNs are stocks and currencies. The first ECN, Instinet, was created in 1969. ECNs increase competition among trading firms by lowering transaction costs, giving clients full access to their order books, and offering order matching outside of traditional exchange hours.[citation needed] ECNs are sometimes also referred to as Alternative Trading Systems or Alternative Trading Networks. To trade with an ECN, one must be a subscriber or have an account with a broker that provides direct access trading. ECN subscribers can enter orders into the ECN via a custom computer terminal or network protocols. The ECN will then match contra-side orders (i.e. a sell-order is "contra-side" to a buy-order with the same price and share count) for execution. The ECN will post unmatched orders on the system for other subscribers to view. Generally, the buyer and seller are anonymous, with the trade execution reports listing the ECN as the party. Some ECN brokers may offer additional features to subscribers such as negotiation, reserve size, and pegging, and may have access to the entire ECN book (as opposed to the "top of the book") that real-time market data regarding depth of trading interest. ECNs are generally facilitated by electronic negotiation, a type of communication between agents that allows cooperative and competitive sharing of information to determine a proper price. [edit] Negotiation types The most common paradigm is the electronic auction type. As of 2005, most e-business negotiation systems can only support price negotiations. Traditional negotiations typically include discussion of other attributes of a deal, such as delivery terms or payment conditions. This one-dimensional approach is one of the reasons why electronic markets struggle for acceptance. Multiattributive and combinatorial auction mechanisms are emerging to allow further types of negotiation. Support for complex multi-attribute negotiations is a critical success factor for the next generation of electronic markets and, more generally, for all types of electronic exchanges. This is what the second type of Electronic negotiation, namely Negotiation Support, addresses. While auctions are essentially mechanisms, bargaining is often the only choice in complex cases or those cases where no choice of partners is given. Bargaining is a hard, error-prone, ambiguous task often performed under time pressure. Information technology has some potential to facilitate negotiation processes which is analyzed in research projects/prototypes such as INSPIRE, Negoisst or WebNS. The third type of negotiation is automated argumentation, where agents exchange not only values, but also arguments for their offers/counter-offers. This requires agents to be able to reason about the mental states of other market participants. [edit] Technologies One research area that has paid particular attention to modeling automated negotiations is that of autonomous agents. If negotiations occur frequently, possibly on a minute per minute basis in order to schedule network capacity, or negotiation topics can be clearly defined it may be desirable to automate this coordination effort. Automated negotiation is a key form of interaction in complex systems composed of autonomous agents. Negotiation is a process of making offers and counteroffers, with the aim of finding an acceptable agreement. During negotiation, each offer is based on its own utility and expectation of what other agents do. This means that a multi criteria decision making is need to be taken for each offer. [edit] In the stock market For stock trading, ECNs exist as a class of SEC-permitted Alternative Trading Systems (ATS). As an ATS, ECNs exclude broker-dealers' internal crossing networks – i.e., systems that match orders in private using prices from a public exchange. [edit] Fee structure ECN's fee structure can be grouped in two basic structures: a classic structure and a credit (or rebate) structure. Both fee structures offer advantages of their own. The classic structure tends to attract liquidity removers while the credit structure appeals to liquidity providers. However since both removers and providers of liquidity are necessary to create a market, ECNs must choose their fee structures carefully. In a credit structure ECNs make a profit from paying liquidity providers a credit while charging a debit to liquidity removers. Credits range from $0.002 to $0.00295 per share for liquidity providers, and debits from $0.0025 to $0.003 per share for liquidity removers. The fee can be determined by monthly volume provided and removed, or by a fixed structure, depending on the ECN. This structure is common on the NASDAQ market.[1]. Traders commonly quote the fees in millicents or mils (e.g. $0.00295 is 29.5 mils). In a classic structure, the ECN will charge a small fee to all market participants using their network, both liquidity providers and removers. They also can attract volume to their networks by giving lower prices to large liquidity providers. Fees for ECNs that operate under a classic structure range from $0 to $0.0015, or even higher depending on each ECN. This fee structure is more common in the NYSE, however recently some ECNs have moved their NYSE operations into a credit structure. [edit] Currency trading The first ECN for internet currency trading was New-York based Matchbook FX formed in 1999. Back then, all the prices were created & supplied by Matchbook FX's traders/users, including banks, within its ECN network. This was quite unique at the time, as it empowered buy-side FX market participants, historically always "price takers", to finally be price makers as well. Today, FX ECNs like Currenex, Bloomberg Tradebook (an affiliate of Bloomberg L.P.), Hotspot FX, 360T, FXall & BAXTER Financial Services Ltd with Currency Dealing provide access to an electronic trading network, supplied with streaming quotes from the top tier banks in the world. Their matching engines perform limit checks and match orders, usually in less than 100 milliseconds per order. The matching is quote driven and these are the prices that match against all orders. Spreads are discretionary but in general multibank competition creates 1-2 pip spreads on USD Majors and Euro Crosses. The order book is not a routing system that sends orders to individual market makers. It is a live exchange type book working against the best bid/offer of all quotes. By trading through an ECN, a currency trader generally benefits from greater price transparency, faster processing, increased liquidity and more availability in the marketplace. Banks also reduce their costs as there is less manual effort involved in using an ECN for trading. [edit] History ECN: Hope this helps! One of the key developments in the history of ECNs was the NASDAQ over-the-counter quotation system. NASDAQ was created following a 1969 American Stock Exchange study which estimated that errors in the processing of hand-written securities orders cost brokerage firms approximately $100 million per year. The NASDAQ system automated such order processing and provided brokers with the latest competitive price quotes via a computer terminal. In March 1994, a study by two economists, William Christie and Paul Schultz, noted that NASDAQ bid-ask spreads were larger than was statistically likely, indicating "We are unable to envision any scenario in which 40 to 60 dealers who are competing for order flow would simultaneously and consistently avoid using odd-eighth quotes without an implicit agreement to post quotes only on the even price fractions. However, our data do not provide direct evidence of tacit collusion among NASDAQ market makers." These results led to an antitrust lawsuit being filed against NASDAQ. As part of NASDAQ's settlement of the antitrust charges, NASDAQ adopted new order handling rules that integrated ECNs into the NASDAQ system. Shortly after this settlement, the SEC adopted Regulation ATS, which permitted ECNs the option of registering as stock exchanges or else being regulated under a separate set of standards for ECNs.[2][3] At that time major ECNs that became active were Instinet and Island (part of Instinet was spun off, merged with Island into Inet, and acquired by NASDAQ), Archipelago Exchange (which was acquired by the NYSE) and Brut (now acquired by NASDAQ). ECNs enjoyed a resurgence after the adoption of SEC Regulation NMS, which required "trade through" protection of orders in the market, regardless of where those orders are placed.

  40. Actually it was Yesterday Obama slams Romney on Iraq Posted at 10/10/2012 7:37 AM | Updated as of 10/10/2012 7:44 AM COLUMBUS, Ohio - US President Barack Obama hit out at his Republican foe Mitt Romney on Iraq Tuesday, warning that America did not need a another president who started wars with no plan to end them. Obama pounced on Romney's complaint in a major foreign policy speech on Monday that the president had failed to secure Iraqi agreement for a residual US troop presence after the withdrawal of troops last year. "Governor Romney said it was tragic to end the war in Iraq. I disagree. I think bringing our troops home to their families was the right thing to do," Obama told a 15,000-strong crowd in Columbus, Ohio. If he'd gotten his way, those troops would still be there. In his speech yesterday, he doubled down on that belief. He said ending that war was a mistake." "Ohio, you can't turn a page on the failed policies of the past if you're promising to repeat them. "We cannot afford to go back to a foreign policy that gets us into wars with no plan to end them. We're moving forward, not going back." Obama made his name on his early opposition of the Iraq war, when he was a lowly state lawmaker in Illinois, and he promised as part of his 2008 presidential campaign to get all US troops home. He is promising to end the Afghan war in the same "responsible" way as he said he ended the Iraq war. Republican critics, however, have argued that the failure of the administration to secure agreement for a small US force in Iraq cost America influence in Baghdad and contributed to current instability in the country. Romney also accuses Obama of using political calculations to manage the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, though says he would also mandate the pullout of all combat soldiers by 2014, as Obama has proposed. The Republican candidate said on Monday that "America's ability to influence events for the better in Iraq has been undermined by the abrupt withdrawal of our entire troop presence." In an earlier comments in November 2011, Romney said the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq was "tragic." http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/global-filipino/world/10/09/12/obama-slams-romney-iraq

  42. Here is more of Big Puller's post from which I took the above info from. jland47: This is all well and good. But what about Talibani and the National Conference? I thought that is what was going to get the RV in motion. Now its being said that bringing troops back in to provide security will get the RV rolling? Help me here folks... I'm a little confused. -bigpuller: I kind of look at it like this.. the US wanted troops to remain and they could have but the GOI would not give immunity..which meant we were at the mercy of the GOI.. now all diplomats and contractors that are working at the US embassy there will have diplomatic immunity..totally different than the Geneva or the Vienna Convention.. that is for military.. the US always has an contigency force that stays behind when we exit out of a country that we have occupied, this is what this is..they knew that Maliki was deep with Iran and Syria, and they watched and took pics, and satellite images, and had the Fab 5 also letting them know what Maliki and his cronies were up to and also Iran that had been running weapons and QUD forces to Syria , through Iraq.. a big no no while both Iraq and Iran are under sanctions..the US played their political chess game and gave Maliki enough rope to hang himself, and then we hide it under the banner of the UN and other national organizations.. Barzani said months ago that they wanted US troops back and made a deal with the US that the US would get back the terrorist daduk, who the US had to give back at the end of last year in the prisoner exchange with Iraq when we exited the country.. another one of Maliki's dumb moves.. anyways, as far as Talabani, he had knee surgery on the 20th of June, and has been recuperating in the mountains of Kurdistan..they had to protect Talabani, because with Hasheimi out of the country then the president and the deputy prime minister would both have been targets.. no one trusts Maliki as he has tried to kill just about everyone or anyone that steps in his way..so theHhouse of Reps got together formed a quorum from the votes they knew they had from the no confidence vote (and they are still looking at doing that) and they had Council of Reps meetings in Sulmeniya and passed some laws.. these laws are in the law library and the times they were put in were as late as July 14th.. only Talabani can ratify a law once the house of reps votes it in..so there is proof he has been back for quite awhile..he cannot vote in abstentia because he has to be present or he would have to have someone take his spot for a short time and as we all know that has not happened.. so all in all these guys have been super busy, passing laws, bringing out the corruption files, coming to agreements on the amnesty and the judicial court laws, and the last item I see is the electoral commission needs to have the members picked and then that completes the federation council that Allawi will head up.. he will not have the National Council for Strategic Policy because it over laps what the judiciary systems already do and will do once their constitution is completed..so in the constitution they were to have made the second legislative branch of the Council of Reps and they never did, and now in February they started it and the Council of Reps has the authority to make this council what they wish and so they combined some of what the NCSP would have done and put it with the fed council and it represents all the regions and provinces and has all the independent committees with it and they oversee the whole legislative branch of the government..massive transparency and oversight.. so Maliki didn’t want to share power with Allawi and he never wanted this 2nd chamber of the government because like I said it is all laws and transparency ..could explain a lot more but I think all will get the drift..this is kind of how I see this maybe coming to a close.. we need the electoral members, which they are soon to pass, and we need the amnesty law, which is on the books and may have already been passed, I know it had a second reading.. then the Ministers , the HCL the Peshmerga, and the article 140.. which in a nut shell is the remainder of Erbil..they need to get the disputed areas taken care of because it was found out that the 2010 election was actually unconstitutional because the Kurds did not count their newborns in the ration card count and that is what they went off of for a census, so now they are going to go off of the Minister of Plannings census i believe, and when all is said and done Maliki will find out (which he tried to prevent), that the Kurds should have had an extra 15 seats in the Council of Reps that they were cheated out of, which would have made them the largest bloc and not the National Alliance.. the troops were a plan and executed quite nicely I might add.. there is no way the US is gonna let anyone step on the democracy that we all fought so hard for and when Assad falls, I think we may see Maliki go too, if not he will be gagged and sat in a corner until his term runs out..now as far as Iran..Achmed looked like a fool at the non-aligned meeting in Tehran and has gotten a scolding from the King of Saudi and well lets just say with their money problems and the nice satellite photos of the QUD forces going to Syria , he will just remain the nut case he is from within his own borders..I see no threat from Iran..he is the boogey man that the US needs so we can be in the Middle East..wow.. guess I should post more so i don’t babble so much.. lol.. anyways , I don’t think we are far off at all ..they have made tremendous leaps in the last four months, and the last of the items that we have been waiting for we are seeing them getting them done.. so rest easy, its coming. - End -

  43. Yes, I think I have a pretty good idea. The short answer is inflation caused by the fed's disastrous monetary policies - printing money that deflates the value of our dollar. In addition to that, we have the refusal of the regime to allow us to move toward energy independence - in fact O has been determined to drive up energy costs for everyone (causing the closure of coal fire electricity plants and denying permits to drill on public lands and off-shore making us more - not less - dependent on foreign oil) which drives up the cost of everything. Add to that the exploding burdens on taxpayers due to policies that invite, rather than deter illegal immigrant's dependence on our welfare system (healthcare, food, housing, etc.). Foreign aid - especially to countries that hate us, a seemingly endless string of social programs that keep people just comfortable enough in poverty that they lose their incentive to rely on themselves, the rising cost of healthcare due to lack of true reform (free market choice and competition, tort reform), the devastated housing market caused by years of banks being forced to make loans to folks that didn't qualify, artificially low interest rates that deter people from saving and investing, bail outs to the "too big to fail" banks and the auto industry......there are so many more examples of progressive/liberal policy (throwing money at a problem)...but I did say "short list"! Basically, mortaging our future by borrowing money from China to pay for crap we don't need with money we don't have. A president can and does influence the economy and O has been a disaster. My hope (and I'm willing to stake my children's future on it) is that Romney can and will stop the bleeding of the "THOUSANDS of knife wounds" Divemaster so artfully referred to in post #95. He wasn't my first choice but I do think he has what it takes.

  47. The RD is the way the Dinar will be on par with the dollar, and only if the exchange rate changes the ratio to 1000:1 first. They will not increase the value of the dinar to a dollar as long as the circulation is in the trillions. The only way it will ever happen, and dedollarization to occur is to drop 3 zeros from the existing currency to reduce the liability of trillions to billions. To the Iraqis, it is value neutral. To the speculators, it will also be value neutral, after you strip the dealer's spread and the Pumper's commissions. It would be very nice if it would increase in value to offset the premium price that was paid by speculators, prior to redenomination, and let everyone start off even. When they release hundreds of press releases saying it will be a value-neutral event, it is a very likely possibility it will be just that. The longer they put off a RD, the better chance there is that some of the spreads and commissions will partially offset. It is what it is.
