  1. I just have to join in on this. Rarely do I get my back up but this is something I am extremely passionate about. First let me make it perfectly clear that I am color blind. I grew up with Navajo, Pima, Hopi, African American, and Mexican kids in Arizona and was friends with them all. Diversity is what makes life interesting and rich! Having said that, illegal immigration is just that...ILLEGAL! Has this person ever gone to a foreign country? I've been to several and I know for a fact that if you are ever stopped and aren't carrying your "papers" (that term is a crock of crap, intended to inflame the issue)...it's called a passport...you will be held until it is produced. I slipped and fell, hurting my ankle, and needed medical attention in London. After the officer who saw me fall asked me if I was ok, he asked me for my passport. I was not offended in the least! In Arizona, we have a terrible problem with people from Mexico illegally coming here, getting more benefits that the ones who are American citizens. Regardless of their color! This person may choose to think this is prejudice simply because those being questioned have "brown" skin but.....Mexicans generally do! Get over it!! This is the United States of America. A land of immigrants! Those who would like to come here, should do so because they want to be a part of the greatest country in the world (still..), and come here with the desire to become part of the society that makes it great. Not faction off into "groups" who refuse to learn the language or assimilate in any other way. In no other country would the attitude of entitlement be tolerated and THAT is the very attitude these illegals are coming over with. Trust me...I see it everyday. Obama just opened a can of worms that will eat away at OUR civil liberties. Ok...had to get that off my chest. Whew!

  3. Another article from the Communist Party USA!! - umbertino - get a clue - this is our country! Foreigners either enter by our rules or get the he!! out. I doubt there is even a grain of truth in this article especially since the first sentence is totally false. NO ONE is asked for papers unless they have committed a crime - get that - a crime. They then have to tell the authorities WHO they are and Where they live and show a form of ID just like everyone else does when stopped for even a traffic violation. The first thing a policeman or highway patrol asks for is your drivers license and proof of insurance. If you don't have any then you are breaking the law and can be taken to jail - it doesn't matter what color your skin is or what state you live in. That's just the way it is. Also, the temperature was 97 degrees (considered mild in Arizona) NOT 105 - and he was not made to stand in the sun - he was in a shaded area and given a chair to sit on. It was a legitimate stop - it took 30 minutes to clear the governor and his vehicle. Just another communist propaganda rag!

  4. 7-1-2012 Babinaoz (Reuters): There is a tentative agreement between Iraq and Kuwait to get out of Chapter VII. The Iraqi government confirmed it had agreed in principle with Kuwait factors to achieve the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII, confirming the presence of the Kuwaiti side to understand the need for the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII. The Iraqi and Kuwaiti governments have agreed initially to the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII of the road map developed by the joint committees. The file of the missing file and humane Iraqi government will work to complete as much as possible even if it is not a condition of the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII. http://www.babnews.com/inp/view.asp?ID=54771

  5. Umbertino ,my friend I have traveled ,worked and lived all over the world and let me tell you most countries including your Italy have laws that if you do not have your papers on your person when stoped you will be arrested. That includes citizens . I have been in countries that treat and abuse their own citizens worse than any tourist or immagrant . Untill just recently (the last decade ) Americans didn't need to carry papers unless they were driving and if stoped by the police I didn't even have to give them my name . They had 24 hours to prove who I am or not . It is because of the illeagal immagration problem that americans now have to carry papers ,heck I remember when a credit card was enough identification to prove my identity . There is nothing rascist about the law in Arizona God Bless them. Please stick to music my friend ,we don't post chit about Italy .

  6. To NEODinar Since I am under the influence of medication - this is the last you will hear from me - I will not stoop to your level of discourse. If I were not a Mod, you would be on ignore. The vehicle was stopped and searched because of radiation detected at the check point. It had nothing to do with the actual "person" or "persons" inside. As it turned out, the governor had been in the hospital the day before for tests and his body had retained enough radiation to set off the detector. Had the border patrol agent not investigated, the result could have been terrorism - his instructions are to check it out, which he did - also had nothing to do with profiling. A simple search of the internet would have let this communist rag know the real truth but then it would not have fit their play book. Now - my statement was "Foreigners either enter by our rules or get the he!! out." So, from your response, you must support open borders - so glad you are willing to pay for everything - I am not. You completely ignore the legal / illegal part on immigration. Most Americans have NO problem with legal immigration - and you and the other "touters for illegal immigrants" know there is a huge difference but you still pull this "Get a clue, our country is flooded with immigrants always has been since our european ancestors came here." The point is they came here legally - not through some tunnel or across the Rio Grande, or over a fence built to protect our borders. They came by the hundreds of thousands and they went through all the red tape, took their citizenship classes and contributed to building this great country. They assimilated into our culture, accepted our laws, proudly fly our flag, say the pledge of allegiance and probably know all the words to "America The Beautiful". But even more important, they are thankful for our freedoms and the ability to pursue the American dream. They are what America stands for. This business about profiling is also "b.s." - when a person breaks the law, a physical description is released and it will always include the race - whether it is white, yellow, brown, black, etc. When the authorities start looking for that person, they do not detain a black person if the description is for a white or vice versa. The majority of the illegal immigrants coming across the southern borders are latino (brown) - also there is a large number of latino citizens living in this area so most of the stops will involve latinos whether they are legal citizens, documented aliens, or illegal aliens. There is no profiling involved. Most of the stops in Chicago, involve blacks - why? Because the population is predominantly "black". No profiling involved. And don't you dare tell me to get out - my family goes back to the Revolution and I have family members that have fought and died in every war since.

  9. This is all just a simple misunderstanding of "Let's don't let the facts get in the way". What a load of garbage "U". I used to think better of you. If you don't like the law that's fine but when your only recourse is to call racism it shows the ignorance of your point. Maybe you think the whole world should come here. Can you tell us of another country that lets everyone in on a free for all? If all these people are so good for us then why don't they stay in their country and support it. Or put the effort in to get rid of the corruption and create jobs. Bottom line is that racism sucks. When it's legitimate or when it's used like you did, it sucks. End. DW Oh, by the way, I'm an American citizen and as white as they come and when they ask me for my papers, I give them to the authorities.

  10. Hey TD again this is your perception. I think I have tried to make this point in the past with you. I enjoy these posts, I think critically and if there is sh***t going on on the fringe of norm, I am interested in learning about the nature of people. And I have been around long enough to see that anything is possible. I never thought I would experience enough in life to say the things that my grandparents once said. My children behave and say the things you say, having a very narrow view of what is going on outside of their world. Do you really have all the answers? Does anyone? If you don't have the time or inclination to do the research to find the truth in postings of this nature, why bother even commenting or defaming the posters character? This post made by Scrum is important because this person Drake has caught the attention of many, many who are feeling hopeless about our future. And it is not Scrums reputation we are judging here but the person who is spewing this information to the masses. Critical thinkers can think rationally for themselves therefore we need not put blame on a poster, please allow me and others who have this ability to continue to think critically. If this is not your thing, move on, please stop putting your pee pee all over the thread. This is not kind or thoughtful. We have lost some interesting folks here on this forum because of this judgmental behavior. Have a nice day tomorrow and see that cute pup, she sends dog kisses. peace

  11. ***/// Word to the wise: Be careful... when reacting to these issues one may believe you're exercising your rights.... HOWEVER: if you feel you must speak up ---Use aliases or wind up at the top of the list for a FEMA camp vacation! You run the risk of being identified and, thus, targeted...Agitator, free-thinker, Patriot... "Keep your head down and your powder dry" as Sarge used to say. Time for us to band together QUIETLY & COVERTLY or risk being eliminated and not available to jump in when it's time to... The PTB don't give a flaming rat's a$$ about how YOU feel about this. (It's too late for them at this juncture. They are all players now, either by force & intimidation or inclusiveness, they're in it up to their a$$es.) THEY ARE POWERLESS TO HELP US EVEN IF THEY WANTED TO. If they do, they'll just end up on an Illuminati hit list like so many before them who refused to be in the game... (Sucked into the machine and they cannot help you no matter how much you kvetch about it anyway.) Sarge always warned us that THE GAME IS ON --- every time we speak out as of now, we run the risk of being put on a hit or pick-up list, identified as someone to be taken out/away when it hits. Keep a low profile! Consort only with others you know and trust. PREPARE YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY Mobilize ourselves as a covert unit. Keep out of the enemy's sight/line of fire...DO NOT ATTRACT ATTENTION AS A DISSENTER They are running mass campaigns to identify who to round up first - DON'T PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE! Stop reacting and start mobilizing!

  12. We are hearing all kinds of rumors lately... Number one on the hit list... Is the dinar revaluation going to happen? In my humble opinion, Yes; unless God jumps in to stop it. The revaluation of the dinar is much more than the revaluation of one country's currency...It is a change and beginning of a new banking system in compliance with Basel III accord with information at the link below. The site has a lot of information. http://www.bis.org/ There are those continually bashing and saying that this is a scam due to fear, ignorance, and an inability to wrap their heads around economics and the coming of new banking systems and the correlation of the fiat banking system along with the current worldwide economic state of affairs. ...Suffice to say that this will happen to inject some false confidence into the fiat currency system before it collapses. This is just my humble opinion as I believe that the global government and one currency is still quite a ways away. Much has to be done and happen before all of Earth's countries and nations will accept one world currency and it will more than likely have to be done without choice. No country wants to be controlled by another country. Even dictatorships don't want to be controlled or messed with. Much is left to happen yet. I believe that Iraq is pivotal in the coming of the world's economic change and I also believe that the RV of the Iraqi currency is necessary to start the change in the shift of economic global power and the growth of the middle east economy which will eventually become the GCC with Iraq leading the way. Iraq is the most resource rich country in the area and will outshine all the other middle east countries as a democratic Muslim country which places some fear in the other Arab countries also. Regardless Iraq is destined for rapid growth and economic recognition shortly after it enters international trade and joins the World Trade Organization. We are getting close..and yes Iraq still has some glitches that will forcefully be worked out. Conflict always brings unity to destroy that which impedes the path forward and one rock can be moved out of the path no matter how big, stubborn, or deeply imbedded. The speed of the RV has a few factors with the biggest being inflation and the secondary being Maliki and the Iraqi cabinet. Parliament is on the side of the Central Bank of Iraq and the autonomy of the CBI to be free from government control to operate and make financial decisions. Better get used to this M as it would take the worldwide collapse of the entire fiat currency system to even give you a shot at controlling the activities of any central bank. This is still a ways off in my humble opionion as new currencies will need to backed by natural resources, precious metals, agriculture, and manufacturing including exportable services and goods. Precious metals will give backbone to currencies but food production will always be the greatest of demand and as a result of the most worth in times of hardship. Once cannot survive by eating gold or silver..think about how many wealthy would give up whatever precious metals were necessary just to go on living. Pride and arrogance have very little strength or power to those who are starving, sick, or dying. I do believe that inflation is not under control in Iraq currently, nor are the people of Iraq content with the amount of food, water, electricity, travel systems, and the access to work and means to better themselves. We all know how prideful the people are and it is tough to hold your head up while others hold you down. This needs to change in the near future. The CBI needs to interject life into the IQD and they cannot afford to pump in higher denominations that they have so long been working to remove from the local economy while they have been educating their citizens of a new Iraqi Dinar that will have lower denominations and greater purchasing power than the USD. Dr. Shabibi has stated that the Iraqi Dinar will be the greatest currency in the Middle East and the Arab world, as well as the international market place. The US dollar has been wrecking havoc with the IQD especially since Syria and Iran's currencies have little or no international value and have been dropped into the Iraqi economy. As Syria and Iran is not widely recognized and admitted into world trade right now...it is very difficult for the two countries to obtain resources to maintain the countries and the people of those countries. Syria and Iran have deflated the value of the IQD by removing US Dollars from the Iraqi economy. This has resulted in I do believe a very dramatic effect in the true worth of the IQD unofficial exchange rate which as been lowered 2X the value of the IQD against the US dollar loss. So now Iraq is constantly removing US dollars off of the streets of Iraq due to sanctions against Iran and also smuggling into Syria? The result is the IQD is losing consumer confidence and buying power within Iraq and a black market has been created which is further lowering the unofficial buying power of the IQD as compared to the US Federal Reserve Note as very few merchants want to use the IQD now. The US dollar is much more user friendly and internationally accepted currently as a reserve currency of strength and liquidity. OK now as Dr. Shabibi sees, a new ever developing problem on how to get your own citizens to gain confidence in your own currency, start using it, and bring strength and recognition to Iraq's economy while striving to reign in the avenues of international trade and global banking recognition to better His country and people. How can the introduction of large 000 denominations back into Iraq do anything now but further reduce confidence in the IQD and cause Iraq's inflation rate to do anything but rise faster and further than it was. Shabibi only has three options.. 1. RV the currency on the independent right of the CBI having the blessings of Iraq's parliament and either claim credit himself or share it with the Iraqi parliament while disgracing Maliki... 2. Wait upon the completion of the government of the CBI and for Maliki to be dealt with by removal or to have him start playing nicely with others in the sandbox.. or 3. Do nothing at all and watch all of his hard work stabilizing Iraq's Dinar to a point where it can once again RV and bring Pride to Iraq and the Middle East nations, quickly deteriorate and go down the tubes of failure. Not an easy decision right now...with sanctions on Shab's country and vulnerable DFI funds waiting for vulture countries to pick it apart and lay devastation to all that he has so dearly protected and allowed to blossom under his care. I believe that we are on the verge of the RV and that Maliki needs to be swiftly dealt with. I don't know how severely the reprimands have been taken to heart...but I also believe that he is too proud and arrogant to let Iraq fall apart under his seemingly all controlling dictatorship.. The CBI ball is in motion and it may well roll over more than one who stands in the way of the RV and the progress of Iraq into the global marketplace. Too many countries have forgiven way too much debt and invested way too much to the stability, infrastructure, and government of Iraq... I wouldn't want to be Maliki right now. Yes the RV is real and is going to happen.. How soon you may ask? Near future is the best that I can say and I will step out and voice my opinion on the rate of the dinar initially. According to inflation, Iraq's resources, and regaining it's place according to its last standing and also considering the Marshall Plan...; The IQD cannot come out lower initially that one to one in my opinion against the US Federal Reserve note. Even at a 1 to 1 rate, the Iraqi citizens will not want to use the IQD unless it is worth much more than the US Fed Note. An internal exchange rate of 2 US Fed Reserves notes to IQD would be easy to see and figure out. It would be very simple and anyone could tell that if I give you 1 dinar and you give me two US notes then the IQD is worth more. Within a month this will have spread through the mosques and the street markets about the new value of the IQD and how it buys twice as much as the US Federal Reserve not proving the Iraq is once rising to newfound strength and recognition after the downfall of the brutal Sadam dictatorship.. To those who say this will never happen...I say humbug and get a dose of reality.. To those who say 10 cents or under a dollar US I say get real and put yourself in Dr. Shabibi's shoes and you will get a reality check. Iraq's currency needs to rise quickly to offset the devastation of Iraq's economy and infrastructure while gaining access to worldwide trade and international banking recognition. If the Dinar is "pegged" initially or compared respectively to the Great Britain Pound when considering international exchange rates, it could be much higher agianst the US Federal Reserve Note. The US Federal Reserve Note has been devalued through credit rating reductions from AAA+ down to AA and loss of consumer confidence within the US but most inportantly internationally. The continued printing of Federal Rerseve Notes Flooding the international market has only served to further the devaluation and purchasing power of the US Federal Reserve Notes. As most of us are not privleledged to the current worth of the US Federal reserve note and as to how the IQD is to enter the global economy, we can only guess at exchange rates, but suffice to know that as each country has it's own worth and strength; so shall the IQD be reflected in the international exchange rate markets and forex. Iraq is a proud country and I believe that they will demonstarte strength and pride when the Iraqi Dinar regains its rightful place in the world's economy. Both Shabibi and Maliki have stated this will be the strongest currency of value and they have always wanted a currency of 5 plus when compared to a base currency such as the US Federal Reserve note or Great Britain Pound Sterling. It would be nice to see the IQD backed by precious metals when it hits the markets and not just another fiat currency prone to collapse that is backed by nothing but promise. Iraq will not see interest in their stock markets or development interests unless they have a strong currency and a functional government that agrees to put the needs of Iraq and It's citizens first.... A government is only as strong as those they govern over. Strife and unrest leads to weakness which destroys confidence, and starts the quest for change, stability, and satisfaction of the people. A government should never be satisfied if there is major discontent and strife amidst the population that it should be striving to Serve...."Not Control." There are always rumors circulating and the real truth will only be known upon completion of the project.. Try not to wear your heart on your sleeve and waste funds that are needed to keep your families safe and secure. This will happen..there are just too many factors to stick a date to the wall. Only God and Shabibi know when this is going to go down and the date is definitely a moving target... We sit upon the verge of change and the moment of history which shall never repeat. This is just my humble opinion in regard to what has been laid out before us. `

  13. QUOTE I started doing this blog in September of last year to address the crap that was being spewed by pumpers and gurus in the dinar community. Since then the BS has only intensified if anything. Speculated rates are going higher and higher, not based on anything substantive but likely just to draw traffic. You would think that after years of useless intel, baseless rumors, unrealistic predictions .... etc. leaders in the dinar community would have had enough and would have taken a stand against it but unfortunately very few have. Last Friday night there was a conference call where several very informed dinarians discussed the issues of liquidity and the Kuwait "RV" in a very honest and eye opening manner. Proteus, the leader of the revalue.us dinar hub hosted the call, accompanied by his right hand man Patriot. Other panelists included Conrad, Scooter, Enoch8, Marcus Curtis, TenMillion, Chuckles, and Russell. The gist of the conversation is that Iraq is not obligated to exchange US dollars for dinars outside of their country, which leaves that task to secondary institutions like banks and currency dealers. Since very few banks are even dealing with the dinar any more that leaves only the currency dealers as a means for investors to exchange dinars for dollars. If the dealers aren't able to get in to Iraq in the event of a redenomination people who hold dinar could very well be stuck with truly worthless currency. This is a subject I feel needed to be addressed. After all, as long as the IQD is not internationally recognized it really doesn't matter what it's valued at. If it goes up to $10 but you can't spend it or exchange it for dollars what good is it? I applaud these guys for having the gonads to take on this topic, but there were a few out there who weren't quite as thrilled to hear the subject addressed. Breitling, Dan and Tony from PTR, and the Gatekeepers all responded with criticism, ridicule, and outright animosity. It seems odd to me that with all of the hype and nonsense prevalent in the dinar community these people chose a conference call about a legitimate concern to express their outrage over. Where's the outrage over Okie's weekly RV announcement? Where's the outrage over all of the lies and rumours designed to promote dinar sales and traffic to dinar sites? Where's the outrage over the obvious fraud that this blog has exposed to the dinar community? Why save your venom for people trying to have an honest discussion about a very relevant topic? I suspect that the answer lies somewhere in the fact that the pumpers don't pose any threat to anybody's bottom line. Here's the document they were referencing. Articles 32 was the focus of the discussion, which says among other things: 1. The CBI shall have the exclusive right to issue banknotes and coins intended for circulation in Iraq. Banknotes issued under this Article shall be the first charge on the assets of the CBI. The CBI shall make appropriate arrangements for the issue of its banknotes and coins for circulation in Iraq. Banknotes and coins issued by the CBI and intended for circulation in Iraq are not: promissory Notes, Bills of Exchange, or any other type of commercial document under the applicable commercial law, and the CBI is obligated to honor them only as provided for in this Law. Like many statements involved in this investment this is open to interpretation. What was discussed in the call was the implications of a literal interpretation. The Gatekeepers chimed in on Sunday with an hour and a half filibuster from Vic1 (who referred to The Call Squad as The **** Squad) and great economic analysis from Joey (who admitted that she didn't even listen to the call) calling Patriot a jackass and saying to him "... you disgust me." The reason for her contempt for Patriot? Apparently she's upset because he had the audacity to question many of the things that were presumed to be true about this investment but upon further analysis turned out to be unsupported by the facts. She stated that he told her if there wasn't an RV by August 2011 he was going to take a break from the dinar. What a concept! They also seemed upset over a joke Patriot made about people slitting their wrists after listening to the discussion of the potential pitfalls of owning IQD. I'm baffled as to how a questionable joke about bringing people back to reality is the greater sin than the constant fantasy feeding that goes on with most of these guys, GK included. On Sunday Breitling responded in a knee-jerk fashion calling it "amateur hour". He later removed that video but not before somebody snagged a copy of it and uploaded it to YouTube. END QUOTE Part 2 QUOTE Then on Monday he posted a replacement video where he claims that all participants in this conference call are still invested in the dinar and still believe in it. Not true. Marcus Curtis has announced on his forum that he has sold ALL of his dinar! Chuckles sold most of his, too and has little confidence in it. And Patriot says that he no longer believes in a big RV. Breitling then goes on to say that there's no other side of the coin. (A one sided coin?) "Iraq is selling their currency internationally. Countries have dinar in their foreign currency reserves. END OF STORY!!!" blah blah blah ..... No documentation was offered to support those claims, of course. Dan from PTR responded on Monday with his usual stupidity claiming that the statement on the CBI website was referring to the old Saddam dinars. Actually the CBI wasn't even around prior to the overthrow of Saddam. Dan said he was offended because these guys disrespected all of the "real research" that he and his team do. So Scooter, Marcus Curtis, Enoch8 ... etc. don't do real research but Dan and Tony do? LOL!!! I dare say every participant on that call knows more about this investment than Dan and Tony combined. Then Dan says that the guys in the conference call said you won't be able to cash in without going to Iraq. Nobody said that. They said that it's a possibility that investors should take into consideration. (33 minutes into the revalue.us call Patriot states that they're not saying it will play out that way, but you have to be prepared for anything.) Then he went on to talk about the Kuwaiti RV (which never happened), saying that liquidity was a problem back then so Bush and Cheney set it up to where we won't have the same problem with this RV. Frank Bell from Dinar Banker stated in a message left for Proteus that the information presented in the call was essentially correct, although some of it could have been misconstrued. He even stated that in a subsequent call with The Gatekeepers. The point being raised isn't that Iraq is going to refuse to honor their currency or that they're going to pick and choose whose dinars they will redeem for dollars. The point was that if Iraq redenominates and the banks don't accept dinar and it becomes problematic for dealers to provide an exchange service for dinar investors, there is no obligation on the part of Iraq to come over here and provide that service. The dinar is not an internationally recognized currency and might not be for many years. John Jagerson addressed the issue of liquidity in his videos three years ago, and now many are beginning to understand why. Right now you can sell your dinar on ebay or sell it back to a dealer, but after the redenomination process begins what options will you have? That's the question. Whether you agree or disagree with the opinions expressed in the revalue.us conference call the proper response would have been an equally honest and informative discussion of the issue rather than a regurgitation of forum facts and unsupportable assumptions based on pumper hype. For their failure to do so the above parties (Gatekeepers, Breitling, Dan and Tony from PTR) are granted the first ever gang XXXXX. END QUOTE

  15. i would think if they gave the 10 million illegal mexicans amnesty that would set a presedent that anyone could just come here and get amnesty .. therefore the chinese could just send over 100 million chinese and they would get amnesty .. and while they are yet illegal they should have a "right ".. to our health care system and we should pay their bills for them .. and if you profile these chinese that would be racism .. like they should profile black people if the chinese invade our borders .. no if the chinese invade like the mexicans are doing .. then you profile chinese .. its that simple .. and they should have a right to vote .. even with no id .. and they could just vote for one of themselves to be the president of this country and vote themselves into the congress and senate .. and make laws to allow all the rest of china to come here for medical treatment and welefare and just raise taxes on us who live and work here .. yes the democrats think our country is up for grabs .. the spanish speaking need to go home to spain where they belong.. they came here long ago and killed off the indians and took over the south west and mexico .... and now think they will take over all of america....the spanish were removed long ago from this country .. and if you only speak spanish and are in this english speaking country .. yes you should be checked out and removed at the expense of the mexican govt ..or you should never be let out of jail and mexico should be sanctioned till they pay for all expenses these illegals cost us here for holding them in jail... that mexican govt is just as guilty as those coming here .. i say sanction the mexican govt ..maybe they would take responsibility for their border and if you dont like that .. you can go live with them and stay out of this country do you know how stupid those democrats sound while they run their mouths saying what they say .. it makes no sense vote every democrat out of office ...they are traders to the united states

  17. Its very easy these days. Since laws were passed, that an illegal alien cannot hold a job, collect benefits, and an employer is not allowed to hire an illegal under penalty of huge fines.......Almost every person I see in Az, of color, is here legally. All the rest went to Cali, or N. Mexico, or Colo, or back across the southern border. That makes it very simple.....If they get across the border, they head to these other states......They dont hang out here very long, and a lot are caught, trying to get to those other places....Its not racial profiling.....Its criminal profiling....Ask any Officer, that method is used every hour of the day, in every state. Also.....No Illegal alien could possibly grow a mustache like Geraldo's

  18. ]Is Obama a socialist or a fascist? Thomas Sowell explains why president seeks scapegoats for all his failed policies by Thomas SowellEmail | Archive Thomas Sowell is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution in Stanford, Calif. He is the author of 28 books, including "Dismantling America" and "Basic Economics: A It bothers me a little when conservatives call Barack Obama a “socialist.” He certainly is an enemy of the free market, and he wants politicians and bureaucrats to make the fundamental decisions about the economy. But that does not mean he wants government ownership of the means of production, which has long been a standard definition of socialism. What President Obama has been pushing for, and moving toward, is more insidious: government control of the economy, while leaving ownership in private hands. That way, politicians get to call the shots but, when their bright ideas lead to disaster, they can always blame those who own businesses in the private sector. Politically, it is heads-I-win when things go right, and tails-you-lose when things go wrong. This is far preferable, from Obama’s point of view, since it gives him a variety of scapegoats for all his failed policies, without having to use President Bush as a scapegoat all the time. Government ownership of the means of production means that politicians also own the consequences of their policies, and have to face responsibility when those consequences are disastrous – something Barack Obama avoids like the plague. Thus the Obama administration can arbitrarily force insurance companies to cover the children of their customers until the children are 26 years old. Obviously, this creates favorable publicity for President Obama. But if this and other government edicts cause insurance premiums to rise, then that is something that can be blamed on the “greed” of the insurance companies. The same principle, or lack of principle, applies to many other privately owned businesses. It is a very successful political ploy that can be adapted to all sorts of situations. One of the reasons why both pro-Obama and anti-Obama observers may be reluctant to see him as fascist is that both tend to accept the prevailing notion that fascism is on the political right, while it is obvious that Obama is on the political left. Back in the 1920s, however, when fascism was a new political development, it was widely – and correctly – regarded as being on the political left. Jonah Goldberg’s great book, “Liberal Fascism,” cites overwhelming evidence of the fascists’ consistent pursuit of the goals of the left, and of the left’s embrace of the fascists as one of their own during the 1920s. Mussolini, the originator of fascism, was lionized by the left, both in Europe and in America, during the 1920s. Even Hitler, who adopted fascist ideas in the 1920s, was seen by some, including W.E.B. Du Bois, as a man of the left. It was in the 1930s, when ugly internal and international actions by Hitler and Mussolini repelled the world, that the left distanced itself from fascism and its Nazi offshoot – and verbally transferred these totalitarian dictatorships to the right, saddling opponents with these pariahs. What socialism, fascism and other ideologies of the left have in common is an assumption that some very wise people – like themselves – need to take decisions out of the hands of lesser people, like the rest of us, and impose those decisions by government fiat. The left’s vision is not only a vision of the world, but also a vision of themselves as superior beings pursuing superior ends. In the United States, however, this vision conflicts with a Constitution that begins, “We the People …” That is why the left has for more than a century been trying to get the Constitution’s limitations on government loosened or evaded by judges’ new interpretations, based on notions of “a living Constitution” that will take decisions out of the hands of “We the People,” and transfer those decisions to our betters. The self-flattery of the vision of the left also gives its true believers a huge ego stake in that vision, which means that mere facts are unlikely to make them reconsider, regardless of what evidence piles up against the vision of the left and regardless of its disastrous consequences. Only our own awareness of the huge stakes involved can save us from the rampaging presumptions of our betters, whether they are called socialists or fascists. So long as we buy their heady rhetoric, we are selling our birthright of freedom.

  19. Tiff....I know you've read this from me before, but I feel i should reiterate...and I like to make my posts brief. brevity is the soul of wit, as quoted from another famous author. Does darkness exist....No, just the absence of light Does coldness exist....No, just the absence of heat Does evil exist.....No, just the absence of God "Evil does not exist, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love, that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light." This is attributed to Einstein, however, that aspect is unimportant. These are good words, and ones that I live by

  20. Chess just doesn't know you Maggie. Those that do know you would never think that, ever. I was completely against the war and still am against what we did. Purchasing dinar is a result of the invasion, to be sure, but I do not condone a war so that I can profit. This is an opportunity that was laid at our feet without a bow. I, and many others plan on giving money to many veteran charities to help disabled veterans and military families. They are the ones that I hope profit in a huge way from this, more than anyone else. Personally, I look at this as making money off of oil, which I don't like, but I plan on taking mucho dinero and giving it to alternative fuel research and development in my own way to fight the oil companies. I have to thank them for that. Chess, I understand your initial response, I really do. But if you knew many of us, and especially Maggie, nothing could be farther from the truth. Maggie is one of the nicest, most selfless people you could know. And Chess, I find it a little odd that you would strike out at Maggie for the same investment you have made. We are all here for one reason, and one reason only. There is no way to get around that one.

  22. Maliki has no creditability with me and I love the USA. It's a bit broken, but I will strive to do my part in fixing it. I am not brainwashed, I am a Zionist Infidel who believes everyone should have what we enjoy in the US. Everyone means, all people, Moslems/Islamist/Muslims/Jews/ etc etc. All are my brothers and sisters. They don't necessarily have to have our way of governing but have the basic needs of life and the pursuit of happiness. As long as I am part of "We the People" I will strive and work hard to bring it back to that status. PS Maliki speaks right out of the mouth of the Iranian President. Another one with no creditability.

  26. Umbertino, I am very surprised you posted this. Why would someone that lives in another country post something like this. You (and not only you) have no idea how frustrating it is to see your Country going down the tubes at a very rapid rate. We as Americans have got to quite policing the world and providing for others when we can not even take care of ourselves. We have got to get our house in order first. Everyday I drive down the street I see Vets sitting in wheelchairs on the sides of the roads, limbs missing begging for money and food while these ILLEGALS and even the LEGALS get benefits that should be going to the ones ALREADY here legally. We need to close the borders and make sure the citizens already here have jobs, medical care, education and so forth. Ship is going down and we have got to plug the hole, and sorry if that means people have to prove they are US citizens then so be it. Once we get our house in order again then we can take a look at where we can help, but you can not help anyone if you can not help yourself.

  27. If I was the author of the original post I would be upset that you stole it and DIDN'T give credit were credit was due! UNLESS....it helped to promote Dinar sales all over the web which seems to be the biggest reason for posting flat out LIES on these public forums! This stuff you posted was hypothetical nonsense which holds no water. **I am disgusted by the lies that get thrown around here by people like you. I wish Adam felt the same way, because this gives a BAD name to the Dinar "investment" and this crap should be censored! It is flat out LIES! You can say this is how you wish the world worked, or how it should work, but this is NOT how things work in the current financial system. On top of that, you ave no PROOF that things will change, just a bunch of hopium!!!!!! Lay off the weed man... It seems that you would rather post LIES and have people LIKE YOU then to post the truth...SERIOULSY!

  28. And a Dictator has spoken! Has he forgotten that he would not be in his position if it wasn't for the U.S. and other countries involved, does he really believe we will not express (force) our interest in Iraq after all the U.S. has sacraficed to liberate their people? Other countries want something to say as other countries paid with their own peoples lifes, money, equipment and supplies. If you want us not involved in your dealings than you have to pay us off for everything we have ever done for your country (RV in a BIG way)! I feel this is going down hill really fast and seems there is no-one that will remove him fast enough, JMHO.

  30. The great atheist philosopher Bertrand Russell was once asked what he would say if he found himself standing before God on Judgment Day? And God were to ask, “Russell, why didn’t you believe in me?” Russell replied, “Not enough evidence God, not enough evidence.” I think that most of the non-believers or atheists would say much the same thing – “there is not enough evidence.” This attitude is communicated to students by atheists professors and teachers on our university and college campuses, and the students repeat this like a mantra, “there is just not enough evidence.” But what do we mean when we say, “not enough evidence”? Not enough for what? Not enough to compel belief? Not enough to coerce someone to become a Christian or to believe in God? I think that is the way the majority of people think. Most people tend to be spiritually apathetic. They are either too busy or too unconcerned to be bothered about looking into spiritual things. Or, if they are “into” spirituality, they are chasing after false gods of their own making. Basically they just can’t be bothered to look into the evidence for Christianity. And, in my experience, most atheists are not even acquainted with the evidence. They haven’t looked! This is particularly true of university professors who are particularly abusive to their students. Most often they are skilled is physics, biology, or any number of disciplines, but not in the philosophy of religion. They are pretty good a beating up on a 18-24 year old student, they are no match for or will not go toe to toe with one of their peers. Once they trout out Hume and Kant, and a few more, they are out of anything to say. Most don’t know anything about the gospels and the New Testament and are just inflated blowhards with limited understanding. They have no idea of the proofs for the validity of the Bible, nor how it came to be in existence. But that’s not unusual. I have a fairly good knowledge of the Bible, but I know very little about finance, and nothing about biochemistry or quantum physics! We are schooled in our discipline. You see, it is possible to have a profound knowledge of your given area of specialization, but only have a Sunday morning Bible class understanding of the Bible. When you study the life of some of the great atheists you find that they lost their faith around the age of 12, and they have never studied it since. What this means is that these people reject a belief in God based on the findings of a 12 year old!! So when someone says that there is “not enough evidence,” what they really mean is that there is not enough evidence to coerce me out of my indifference and make me believe. In other words, if I choose to ignore it, the evidence is not going to grab me by the lapel and force me into believing. But of course the evidence is not going to be coercing in that sense, and why should it be? You see the Bible says that the knowledge of God is unique in that it is conditioned by moral and spiritual factors. A spiritually indifferent person can have a perfectly profound knowledge of history, science, literature, mathematics, biogenetics, or any discipline, even theology, but a spiritually indifferent person cannot know God. You see, the knowledge of God is promised to those who seek Him. Jeremiah writes, “ you shall seek me and you shall find me, if you seek me with all heart.” Jesus said, “he who seeks finds, he who knocks, the door will be opened to you.” In other words, God does not force himself upon us. He doesn’t grab us by the lapel and force us to look at the facts, even though He has given us evidence that is sufficiently clear for those with an open mind and heart, but is sufficiently vague to compel those whose heart and mind are closed. The great French mathematical genus Blaise Pascal, who came to know God at the age of 31, put it in this way, “willing to appear openly to those who seek him with all their heart and to be hidden from those who flee from him with all their heart. God so regulates the knowledge of himself that he has given indications of himself which are visible to those who seek Him and not to those who do not seek Him. There is enough light for those who see and enough obscurity to those who have a contrary position.” In other words, the evidence is there for those who have eyes to see. There is not enough evidence to be coercive, but that’s not the interesting question. The interesting question is, “Is there enough evidence for faith to be rational?” And the answer to that question is YES! There certainly is enough evidence for faith to be rational. The traditional arguments for the existence of God and the evidences of Christianity may not be coercive, but they are certainly sufficient in order to warrant the Christian belief to be rational. Just take, for example, the existence of God. There has been a revolution within American philosophy with regard to this question, during the second half of the 20th Century. Back in the 1940s and 50s, it was widely believed among philosophers that talk about God was meaningless. It was gibberish to say, “God loves you and has a plan for your life.” This movement reached its peak during the “Death of God” theology of the 1960s. On April 8, 1966, in an infamous cover story, TIME Magazine’s announced it’s major story by placing on the cover as totally black background except for the bright red letters which ask the question, “IS GOD DEAD?” And the article inside described the current Death of God movement among America theologians. Ironically however, at the same time theologians were writing God’s obituary, a new generation of philosophers was discovering His vitality. And just a few years after its Death of God issue, TIME ran a similar red on black cover story, but this time the question read, “IS GOD COMING BACK TO LIFE.” Indeed, that must have been what it seemed to those theological morticians of the 1960s. During the 1970s there was a continuing growth of interest in the philosophy of religion. In 1980 TIME ran another major story entitled, “Modernizing the Case for God” in which it described a new movement among theologians, who were reestablishing and defend all the traditional arguments for God’s existence. TIME quipped in the article that “God was making a come back. Most intriguingly this is happening not among theologians or ordinary believers, but in the crisp intellectual circles of academic philosophers where the Almighty had been banished from fruitful discourse.” According to the article, the noted American philosopher, Robert Chisum, believed that “the reason that Atheism was so influential decades ago is because the brightest philosophers were atheist, but today many of the brightest philosophers are theists or believers in God, and they are using a tough minded intellectualism in defense of that belief which was formerly lacking on their side of the debate.” Today, some of the most outstanding philosophers are believers in God: Robert Adams, Yale; William Allston, Syracuse; George McGrody, Michigan; Alvin Plantangan, Notre Dame; Eleanor Stump, St. Louis University; Dallas Willard, USC, etc. The idea that Christians are intellectual losers, irrational believers in magic, illogical, and brainwashed is bread of intellectual ignorance. Such statements need to be decisively repudiated.

  32. When it comes to this subject, I could care less if everyone on this board negs me. YES, I believe in God. In fact, with the way the world is today ( compared to when I was a kid) I honestly do not know how a person can survive without faith in God. I know many do.....I just don't know how. I am glad that I don't have too. RSS

  33. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) may now be invalid because the Supreme Court ruled that it relies on a tax for implementation. According to the United States Constitution, all tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives. This law originated in the Senate, because at the time the Democrats were selling it as a purchase - not a tax. Since the Supreme Court has ruled that the law is indeed based on a tax increase, it would have had to be initiated as a bill in the House of Representatives. Consequently, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Law is unconstitutional on a different criteria than the ones considered by the Supreme Court in this latest landmark decision. By calling the individual mandate unconstitutional but allowing the law as a federal program to be funded by new taxes, Justice Roberts essentially nullified the law. 36. NEO I vowed to myself that I wouldnt respond to your truly innocent and uninformed take on the state of life as it actually is in this country. Im a tall, good looking, white guy. And every time I go through TSA, I get pulled by the women there, along with white grandmothers and white children....every time, except for the last time. Making loud comments, and angrily asking a dozen TSA employees questions about the procedures, as they stand around idly, will get a white guy through the lines quickly. Also, being pulled over by the police, and having them cautiously sidle up to the drivers window with gun drawn, is common. Even for a white guy. Those situations I handle with humor, because I know there is a reason for their caution. I laugh and cooperate, and hand over my legal drivers license, registration, and insurance. There is a reason they are on edge.....anything could happen, and the stats show that is the case.....Criminal Profiling is almost always correct 95% of the time the criminal will indict themselves. Of course they are too ignorant to understand that the Officer has NO choice, once they've done that......They would be less likely to be arrested, with some education, but that seems unlikely to happen. Its not a color thing.....Its a criminal profiling thing....everyone is suspect, except at the TSA apparently....Thats a ridiculous PC thing, with no concern for the actual safety of the passengers.....As I stand, being groped, while 5 people of color walk blithely by.

  38. One more addition to this commentary. I "was" a small business owner for 12 years until last month. Yep...the economy took me down. But!..during that time, I personally sponsored a wonderful young man of Brazilian and Costa Rican descent. (Yep..a BROWN guy) It took quite a bit of $$ and time for him to quallify as a citizen but he did it. There were several times he was asked, by law enforcement, to see is I.D.. I asked him how this made him feel and these were his own words...."I feel blessed! I feel that way because I know that I have come into this great country through the proper channels and can say with pride that I AM AN AMERICAN! I will never get angry if I am stopped because I know I will have the oppportunity to prove my citizenship. It makes me angry when the illlegals come and expect everything you and I have worked so hard for." What a great example this young man is! Grateful and humble.

  40. Unirod: Another case of a bad translation... Subtitute "security feature" for "fraud" . Now it means The current dinar has 8 security features , that we know. The NEW currency will have 36 security featues! HOW does he know that? I think Shabibi has already picked the printer and the mint.. The NEW money may already be in production.. Has to be if Jan. 1, 2013 is the date. Ordinarily Iraqis are long on talk and short on DO . I will give Shabibi a +1 for getting this job done!

  41. I think you misstated what you wanted to say. But I understand it, though. Click Iraqi Dinar under All Currencies. Enter 1000 beside Iraqi Dinar (IQD) and click "Convert". The numbers will populate for all currencies. The exchange becomes 0.86 United States Dollar (USD). I'm not contradicting your thoughts, just clarifying. And like you said about exchanging old dinar for new. The 1000 IQD will become 1IQD. Then, 1 IQD will equal US$0.86. An increase in value of just 16% would bring the IQD to US$1.00. Take away the 20%-40% markup that everyone paid for their IQD and It's a wash.

  42. 7 - 1 - 2012 The Iraqi Central Bank to raise the draft law regulates the work of Islamic banks to the State Council. Deputy Bank Governor Mohammad Saleh appearance of correspondent/JD/he was raised to the draft law on the Organization of the work of the Islamic banks in Iraq to the State Council for approval. 43. 7 - 1- 2012 The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank suggested that the appearance of Mohamed Saleh set up a Joint Committee of the Central and deputies and Ministers and economic experts to study the draft deleted three zeros from the currency and a ceiling to be applied. He said Saleh (News Agency news): the Central Bank has completed all procedures concerning the restructuring of the local currency after deleting three zeros, and certain models of the currency format is ancient civilizations and Iraq raised religious and its archeologic attractions and infrastructure such as dams, bridges and submitted to the Executive and the legislature for ratification. He noted: it does not need enactment but needs a regulation issued by the Council of Ministers, published in the Official Gazette (facts) to the Central Bank Act No. (94) of 2004 specifically in article (37) gave power to the central issue new currency and its design and organize legal regulation called "regulation" is different from the law. 44. Can't say yes or no to this story, but I can say in the case of National Emergency, the President can suspend elections and continue in control as long as he sees the need. That would be a slick way to avoid giving up power to a new President, or even hold an election.

  45. I have been saying for quite a while now that I fully explect there to be something that Obama will be able to call a national emergency. A national emergency and FEMA kicks in and personal rights are suspended along with the Constitution. He has been setting things up for a civil war by pitting on one side the illegals, muslims, and black panthers and other radicals. The other side are conservatives who still believe in the Constitution and personal rights. He has been setting things up via executive orders to make take overs all perfectly legal in the case of national emergency. Travel is getting more limited via TSA and increased gas prices. It is already in place to control the internet which will control communications. If transportation is regulated then store supplies and food supplies are also reguated. This is not radical thinking. I am actually a conservative. But I am also a realist.

  47. Mormons "are not" Bibical Christians. Not until recently have they even wanted to be called Christians, their preference was "Saint". Their leader and founder, Joseph Smith said: Christian denomination were "all wrong"......all their creeds were and are an abomination in his sight and those that professors (Christians) were corrupt." (Pear of Great Price, Joseph Smith, 2:18-19) Christians, believe the Bible is God's authoritative, inerrant and complete self-revelation. Mormons, consider the book of Mormon, The Pear of Great Price, and Doctrine and Covenants as an additional authoritative revelation, thereby undermining the tru authority of Scripture and violating the principle of Rev.22:18 Christians, beleive in one and only One(1) God who eternally exist in (3) three co-equal persons. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Mormons, reject the doctrine of the Trinity, believing that there are many worlds controlled by many gods. Christians, believe Jesus Christ is pre-existent God who, became a man in His incarnation while maintaining His full deity. Mormons, claim Jesus was a "spirit child" and lucifer was His brother. They believe He has now been elevated to a level of deity. Christians, believe justification is by grace alone, thru faith alone in Christ alone. Mormons, believe a person's work in this life will determine his or her status in the life to come and that "salvation" is actually a progression towards godhood.. Mormons can call themselves what ever they may as Christians may also call themselves what ever they may.......but the Mormon faith and the Christian faith is not the same so the name, I supose doesn't really matter.....its the faith and belief that will count in the end on judgement day....barb

  49. Hello again fellow Iraqi Dinar Investors, It's been quite awhile since I've said anything here at DV, but I have kept up with most of what's been going on just the same. I decided to take a break from speaking my mind because of the seriously polarizing opinions of those who believe in the probability of our investment netting us a healthy return, and those who no longer or never believed it to be so. Quite honestly, I find it simply amazing that anyone who doesn't believe in it would even bother to say anything at all, but as I read here a moment ago, there are actually those like MrDinarman who openly admitted he enjoyed dashing the hopes and dreams of us who believe. Thus, I felt compelled to chime in once again in response to that line of thinking. I want to first thank FREEZE for bringing us this lengthy and well though out post. Although it somewhat kindly points out many of the reasons why we who believe we made a wise and prudent investment in the IQD are actually instead quite foolish simply because the "numbers, or math" says otherwise. Well, that's where I happen to strongly disagree. All of the numbers and math mentioned in the post fail to take into account the 2 most paramount reasons why I got involved with this investment, and shall continue to hold onto mine, no matter what, for as long as it takes to see it increase dramatically in value, or fail miserably. Those two reasons are the KNOWN FACT that the IQD was drastically DE-Valued to nearly nothing as a war strategy to help defeat Saddam's government, and the KNOWN FACT that many countries and large corporate investors also hold the same IQD that we do, and in the same 3-zero denominations. Those 2 facts alone are enough for me to continue to believe that no matter what happens to my investment in IQD, there is no way those other large investors and countries are going to lose on their investment, and as a consequence, neither are we who hold out and don't cave in to the skepticism and pessimism that seems to be running rampant of late. At least that's my observation here at DV. I admit I have no secret intel or high and mighty connections, and I don't even bother spending a whole lot of time researching this stuff anymore. Neither do I care much whether Maliki stays or goes, or anything else that occurs politically in Iraq. i am quite comfortable just waiting and hoping that sooner or later all of this intrigue will end, and we shall either be deemed as successful and astute investors after all, or the proven fools we have been called all along by the naysayers both here and most often when we have tried to share with others what we see as a golden opportunity of a lifetime. I have heard the doubters arguments many times over, and even on occasion allowed myself to get hot and bothered whenever that one fellow DV member with the sneer and cap on sideways who claims he was once a small time pimp manages to successfully incite some to anger, and dampen the hopes of many here time and time again. But I have yet to hear anyone put forth an acceptable argument explaining just where the value of the dinar went when it was devalued during the war, and exactly what process must occur to put such value back. It seems that this line of reasoning gets lost in the "bean counters" and their math of outstanding currency amounts and other such rubbish. So, my question to all of the so-called experts on how we believers are simply stupid, senseless, religious fanatics without a clue of how the world of high finance really works could please tell me just where did that former value go, and how is it, if ever, suppose to be returned? That is truly what I believe is the reason that the large investors and countries ever got involved with the IQD, and why I personally believe it will one day increase dramatically in value. In an earlier post I referred to us as the fleas on the elephant backside. So, that's all I have for now, but if the topic warrants it I shall be back again. Thanks to all who read this to its end, and for those bashers who are compelled to come after me, take your best shots!
