Dear Good Sir: In checking the IQD websites per Ol' Sarge's request, I read on the DinarVets website today that folks are thinking of and asking after The Old Sarge. I cannot find his information for logging into the site, that we mayrespond to their kindness, nor am I able to sign up as a new participant because he used my e-mail accountwhile he was here using the V.A. Hospitaland apparently it can't let two people using the same e-mail addresssign up. Please, on our behalf, let them know that Ol' Sarge went to his fishingcamp in Panama, a place he loved dearly. A fellow Veteran with a very nice boat cruised him down and let us all know how wonderful the trip was for Ol' Sarge. It was shortly after that that he went "home". His Aide(003) who took care of him down there shared with us that it was truly an experience she'll never forget. He was SO peaceful and content. God's well-deserved reward for him, I must say. As I shared with you at the time, he meticulously prepared for the event -the Old Boyscout that he was. He has left us 3 three - his 'Aide d' Camps' to continue onwith his work re: his Wounded Veterans' Project. Hence I check for this Dinar thing regularly. I would hate to drop his ball on my watch. And that's when I saw him mentioned today. We miss him terribly and when I come across mention of him, my heart sinksa little - until I recall all he meant to so many. 6-1-2012 SWFloridaGuy: We see a lot of reports coming from the CBI referencing "delete the zeros," "raise the zeros" and "remove the zeros." This information campaign is the Central Banks' way educating the public of the upcoming changes and give them reason to believe that soon they will again be able to have confidence in their own currency, and that the goal of their leaders is to eventually de-dollarize the economy. This is a sensitive balancing act. Furtiveness is imperative to the process. They must delicately educate the public without announcing to the world their plans to raise the exchange rate equal to, or higher than the USD. Removing of the zeros refers to the collection of the larger notes from circulation. It doesn't directly refer to the specific rate change, more to the process of introducing the new currency. When the time comes the CBI will send a new adjusted rate to the BIS (in accordance with the IMF and World Bank's approval and instruction) for release either alone or in a small basket back to all the Central Banks. The new rate will go live all around the world instantaneously. At that point people holding large notes will be given 2 choices: Trade in for lower denoms they can hold indefinitely or exchange for another currency, in our case USD. The rate won't have to spend months "working it's way through the system" at our local Wells Fargo branch. This isn't about the US banks. This currency reform project will have global financial implications and the US will witness this at the same time as the rest of the world.

I am Phoenix....and I would say...yes...my program is very accurate. Who am I ? I am a former special operations soldier with the United States Army. There are many people who are on these forums who think the concept of "redistribution of wealth" means the redistribution of your wealth to their pockets and I have always spoken out against such behavior. As "Secret Key I discovered something that exposed a serious weakness and danger in an investment that was and is still hot at this time and put forward the evidence of the potential problems for investors in same. As I made public this damning evidence in an attempt to warn the innocent investor I was attacked on line by the very individuals who were "pumping" said investment". (No surprise) Because I had come forward with this damning information that exposed the potential dangers to said "investment" (not the IQD) those who stood to profit from getting others into the investment went on a full attack to discredit any thing I may say. So...to me no big deal...the truth was the truth. After that "episode" I was invited to join a forum that was new but had no desire to what so ever but after much prompting by the forum owner said yes...BUT he (the forum owner) insisted that I not use the name "Secret Key" because of all of the consorted efforts at the time to discredit any thing I may say. So to appease the request of that forum owner I changed my name to "Ranger77" Why that name? Because I am a Ranger and I like the number 7 and 77 is twice as good! So...on we go. The next thing that happened was that forum owner was in contact with a currency dealer and was approached by said dealer to become partners and to host a forum for the dealer. This forum owner asked me on the phone my opinion on joining forces with a dealer and i was very forthcoming in telling that forum owner I felt it was a very bad idea to do so and list the reason why I thought so. The forum owner decided to join forces with the currency dealer for immediate economic gain and did so quickly. It was very apparent that I was not too happy with what he did and I stopped posting on his forum. The next thing I knew was the forum owner banned me from his forum and launched a huge attack on me in an attempt to discredit anything I may say because of his fear of me publicly speaking out on his position of being in the pocket of a currency dealer and my firm stance against any and all pumping of dinar or dinar sales. It is worthy to note that that forum owner went off the deep end in his efforts to discredit me not only on his forum but others and dedicate hundreds of man hours and much bandwidth to do so. (some funny stuff...very creative). So.....again no big deal....I could not have cared less. Next I was in touch with few people who wanted to start a forum of their own and they wanted me to also join...so again...I said yes. Now this time they came up with the idea that being a new forum everyone should have a new name just for fun. So that is what we all did...we all (including myself) selected new names...and of course the name I chose was...."Phoenix" Well that forum went along doing well for awhile until the "troll factor" kicked in and we began to have a few disruptive postings and problems (like are seen all over this forum) so we decided to open a smaller private chat for just a few of us. Long story short on that is the forum owners manipulated that situation into a way they could milk money out of people for a profit and I was not happy to see this. Soon after a situation came up where we had a dispute and I left the forum. In an attempt to save face they attempted to publicly accuse me of something I did not do but this effort failed. That effort to discredit me failed on their part because of my careful archiving of my e-mails, PMs, chat logs and telephone calls which I have done for years because of my former profession and position. The very people they attempted to discredit me with were simply presented with a small amount of the documentation, the truth was made known and that was the end of that. So after all of that I decided to open my own private forum and private chat which I did...and has been open for one year and ten months. The name of my forum is "Gimme Shelter" and we have a locked membership and accept no new members. We had an open membership for some time and began to have serious problems again Also as you know I host a nightly radio show on Blog Talk Radio every night at 11PM est. The show is called "Gimme Shelter Radio" and is a nightly 30 min. broadcast on current events and news. Why do I post here sometimes? Well even tho I have my own private forum and chat, I like most others read all sorts of places. A while back I noticed that there were quite a few newbies on this forum asking some basic questions and saw many times their questions go unanswered so I did a few postings to answer questions and a few for fun. Yes I said "Happy Trails" here in December and for many months did not post and would not have even posted today if it were not for the overt attempt to discredit me seen by the troll force in this thread and am only doing so to set the record straight not for me but for those who may not know the truth to the situation. Why is my forum private? Trolls...that's why. We had a situation where someone had come on to the forum in an effort to disrupt and they were effective to the point they caused some serious problems and cause the splitting of some friends by the telling of some lies and such and as taking false identity on chat and causing many problems so we shut down the forum to the public and just kept a small core of friends as members. We now have 80 members or so and it is a good, proactive positive place with zero problems. Our members are fun, intelligent and all in all a great group of folks with good intent and positive out looks. As can be seen in this thread the Internet offers a veil of anonymity so persons who feel empowered because they feel they are hidden and use the opportunity to "act out" and vent their frustrations. Most of the time it is just that and people who feel frustrated just lash out but in some cases you have people who are "not well" to put it in a nice way. Many of these people suffer from alcohol and drug abuse and the frustration due to pressing personal situations in their lives fueled by substance abuse will result in some interesting post by these people on public forums.' Now for the most part this is nothing but innocent venting but it can lead to compulsive rants by these people almost bordering on madness in a consistent stalking like stance. I in fact have a few stalkers who follow me around attempting their best to discredit anything I may say...they are quite fanatical and sometimes fun to watch. As far as me being crazy? Dang right!~ They say you must be crazy to jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute! Yes some of the topics I cover and some of my interest may be seen by many to be "crazy" or "out of the box" and that is just the way it is. I have been here for years and seen those that feel Iraq Dinar will RV, then there are those that feel Iraq will LOP. My role here today is to explain to those either new to Dinar or the oldies that have somehow got it in their heads that Iraq will LOP. In order to explain this properly and fairly, we need to understand what a LOP actually is and the reasons necessary for a LOP to happen. Here is a great article LINK that explains an actual LOP by Russia and Afghanistan. Both Russia and Afghanistan are countries who have zero lopped their currency. Lets look at their situations in relation to the Iraqi Dinar and the speculation and rumors about Iraq doing a zero lop on their currency: Afghanistan had 4 types of currency in circulation as a result of a civil war. It was unknown how much of each was in circulation. For the people and the government, this was a very difficult situation. As a result, the currency kept losing it's value. They needed something both credible and efficient to use as currency. You did not want people carrying around bags of money since everything is cash based. Their zero lop happened at the same time as they printed new currency to replace the confusing mix they had before. This ensured everyone had the same currency, there was a known amount in circulation, and people could buy and sell things with few notes. CBI has expressed in articles that there will be up to 10 years before they felt they will have retrieved all of the 3 zero notes. Even if you held the 3 zero notes for 25 years, you will still be able to redeem them at whatever the current rate would be. The new lower denom notes are not replacing the 3 zero notes, instead they are being added to the 3 zero notes and in time the 3 zero notes will be phased out. It has little in common to the Iraqi Dinar and the speculation about the zero lop. Iraq has already printed and established a single national currency, with secure features and knows exactly how much is in circulation. The Dinar denominations are already designed to carry high or low values without carrying around sacks of money. It makes no sense for them to change the face of the currency, when they are talking about increasing the value to fit their economic goals. Russia performed zero lopping to their currency in 1998. They did this in response to hyperinflation and to restore confidence in their currencies structure and value. Iraq has roughly only 20% inflation. Russia also had denominations that went too high - they had denominations of 5k, 10k, 50k, 100k, and 500k - which were replaced with denominations of 5, 10, 50, 100 , and 500. In comparison, Iraq's highest denomination is the 25k and has denominations all the way down to 25 Dinar. If Iraq did zero lopping off the structure of the bills, they would overlap denominations that already exist. This does not make sense or fit the stated goals with the Iraqi Dinar. It seems that a zero lop, or zero lopping would not occur with the denominations of the Dinar, but by increasing it's value with a revalue that would benefit their economy and their poor in a positive way. So a country LOP's its currency due to extreme inflation (which presently Iraq is at around 8.7%) or due to having an unestablished currency (which Iraq has an established currency). Iraq CBI has told the world in articles that the new currency and the old currency will co-exist. Best way to explain this is to think Iraq is not replacing the old currency with new currency. They are adding the lower denom notes to the current currency and over time will be removing the 3 zero notes as they raise the value of the Iraqi Dinar. United states did the same thing and this is being modeled in the same way. United states used to have a $10,000, $5,000 and $1,000 bills. We created lower denom currency and slowly phased out the 3 zero notes.

to those that mention amount of currency in circulation, your forgetting one key fact... what does the USD, Chinese yuan, and the Euro have in common? they are all on the fiat currency system. what is fiat currency? simple it is not backed by anything other then the credit, so money supply does not matter, it is simply worth what the issuing central bank says it is worth. Iraq is approved by the IMF to be the 4th currency to be allowed to use the fiat system. so to sum it up, how much dinar is in circulation does not matter if it is all a house of cards!

Well if any of you read my posts, you may know I've been contemplating gun ownership for almost a year. I spent the last 10 days at the range renting every brand, every model that I thought would work for me. One of the first I tried was a Glock 19, and try as i might, I could not find a pistol I liked better. That is until I tried the Glock 26 gen4. What a sweet weapon. Bought it yesterday, and am proud to say that after 62 years I have finally exercised my 2nd amendment constitutional right. Now for a couple of classes, and probably a cc permit. Yeah you know I watched BBC, read articles and followed the withdrawal of confidence here in the last month of Greece, Italy and Kuwait just in case Iraq was going to end up this way and folks it is not a very long process. That is why 5 names had to be turned in from the National Alliance tobe Maliki's replacement, the same seated PM party nominates their members as the NEW PM must be within the same party to finish out Maliki's term, then after this term is up the new elections will be held. My thought is that he will comply in the next two days before parliament comes in on what they call an Extraordinary Session; I estimate that to take place Sunday if it is true! Like the other countries we should see an announcement of this on main stream mediatoday or tomorrow...BBC is the best source for this IMO. If he doesn't comply and form the GOI or start implementing Erbil then expect him to resign, at least he will keep some face. Now if it is true and he is dumb enough to let it go to a vote and believe me it will be televised on a world news station that you can count on. I'm typing way to much here now so I'll cut it down by saying that this process that a few of you are down about is at tops a two week process, at the tops. If Parliament is called in and Maliki is voted out Parliament will not go back on vacation again until the 14th as they cannot leave that office open for days according to their constitution if I remember right. Well, the original claim on the RV was around $3 to $4, right? That's how much the Dinar was before the invasion of Iraq. Therefore, it will RV back to that level. That's why everyone follows the IQD and bought in. Everyone was looking to multiply their investment a thousand times. If you invested around $1000, then your reward after the RV would be around $1 million. Anything less would be negative thinking. Triple your money? Come on, guys and gals. Have you stopped believing? If the economy can support a 10 cent RV, then it should support $1 or even $3. What has changed since we all bought our IQD? In 1988, the Iraqi Dinar was $3.22. Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, War on Terror... I'm a young Jedi so I won't go back farther. I'm sure somebody can easily add to my list. It seems to me that the Iraq War was for control of oil, Afghanistan for control of the drug trade, War on Terror to scare Americans into submission and give an excuse for military expansion. Vietnam was before my time, but any war that requires a false flag operation is unjust imo. I don't agree that the US should be the police of the world. I believe that it is appropriate to respond with force at times, but I also believe in the idea of "innocent until proven guilty". There is too much corruption in powerful places and I'm skeptical of foreign intervention unless we are directly attacked. Me personally, I will fight if I am 99% sure of my cause, and then, watch out! I will defend my neighbors too, but I have to witness injustice that requires my assistance first. Hearsay is not enough to get me involved and I definitely don't condone violence as a means to an end, unless that end is survival. For the warmongers out there, I'm glad we got Hitler.

I'm not a religious kind of guy, but there are some principals from the Bible that ring true in my world. One being, "to those who have been given much, much is expected in return." So on one hand, I believe we (the U.S.A) should make a worldwide stand for human rights. But that is where things get tricky...where do we draw the line? I'm a Vietnam vet...was that war justified? No way. Why? Because the excuse given to the public was "communist are taking over the world." This of course was a lie, as time proved. Iraq? Well, they surely needed help. Saddam was ruthless and barbaric...but so is N. Korea, Sudan, Iran, Syria...the list is endless. Where do we draw the line? I believe most of the 300 or so wars our great country has been involved in have not been justified...it shames me to think like that. I'm a Marine...a proud Marine with a deep love for my country (although my Avatar may not reflect that love!). But for the most part, it seems most wars have been fought for selfish political reasons, zealous religious reasons, or misplaced fear. I suppose time will expose the truth behind all wars sooner or later (like it did with Vietnam). In the meantime, I hope our fearless leaders will come to understand we cannot control the entire world (and should not), so for the most part, when other countries start fighting among themselves, it might be wise to let things play out without our interference. What's the rate and date?

Ok, I haven't been here long and I've seen SOOOOO many guesses at what it's going to RV at and it's been from one extreme to the next. I've seen, as in posts in this thread, that it's going to RV at pre-war levels which is all well and good but we have to look at total circulation as well. I can't actually believe that I'm finally going to get to use this math I learned in school that I never thought I'd need but here goes. Hopefully this will come across correctly. Ok, from what I've seen in 1994 there was 11,500,000,000,000 dinar in circulation and it was valued at $3.22US. And in 2010 there was 61,393,100,000,000 in circulation, which is approximately 5.339X more in circulation than in 1994. That huge leap in circulation has to be taken into account. Factoring the increased circulation of dinar, "IF" they were to RV at pre-war numbers that would put them at a rate of $.603109 or $.60 cents. And if we look at an increase of 20% for inflation, as has been stated here, we would be looking at an RV of approximately $.72 cents. Again, I haven't been here long, but that's where I think we'll top out. Again, this is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth...

I listen every night (almost) and like "Going Global East Meets West" and think Lakehouse (Phoenix's wife) does a great job with the news. I have listened to Phoenix and read his stuff for over 3 years and I still do not understand why people call him a pumper? He and Lakehouse have never sold dinar and have never advertised for dinar sales and in fact he warns people about private currency dealers. (He tells people to support banks) I just read their new book "Iraqi Dinar the Good the Bad and the Ugly" that warns people about the scams on the forums and chats. Also they never share or talk about rumors and tell everyone to not listen to rumors. So how is it that someone who deals in factual news, who tells people to not use currency dealers and who warns people about scams and fraud, how is someone like that a "pumper"? I get the impression some people just go with what they hear ( negative BS) in stead of checking for themselves. But it is a free country and I enjoy Going Global and Phoenix.

Do you think the CBI would be planning a LOP and the US Gov would report to the Congress in the SIGIR report a raise in the IQD value just below the dollar? I don't think it works that way. What about special ops missions? I personally think they still need to be briefed to the leaders of congress including the Chairperson of the Senate Armed Services Committee. While my father thinks they were moved to Syria just prior to our invasion. But the point is, at the time, our top leaders did truly believe he had them. Did this justify us going in? The bigger question is pondering if the Bush Doctrine works. The Bush Doctrine is such that the United States had the right to secure itself against countries that harbor or give aid to terrorist groups, which was used to justify the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan and I believe Iraq as well. As Bush himself stated, only historians will be able to answer this one. In the world news the big discussion is whether Americans agree with Obama getting involved in the personal killing list done by our drones (predators). For my 2 cents, he IS the Command-in-Chief, so the buck stops there. He can do whatever he wants…that is, he can make the individual decision or delegate to the field commanders. But…again, he should be consulting with our Congressional Leaders of BOTH parties on an on-going basis.
