  1. Respectfully, I really hope he returns this time, as in the past he has not always come back and completed the q+a's after he said he would. I understand he is quite busy, as am i with my businesses, family, etc. And I certainly mean no disrespect to he or anyone else, but isn't this site one of his businesess as well? (after all, it's no secret he has made a profit from this site...as he should). Anyways, thanks for the short chat and hope to hear back soon!

Iraq still has the same wealth that they did in the past, it's just hidden behind a ridiculously undervalued currency [Adam Montana] UNDERVALUED.   3. 4-4-2012 SWFloridaGuru: The CBI released a statement saying that the draft to delete the zeros does not need a new law, but simply regulation. A new law is not what is required. This includes the issuing of currency, which has already been approved. Great news for us. This is a tool for the CBI to regulate a law that has already been implemented. Shabibi is in control and new regulations will be implemented this week. The project needs to make a regulation and a directive published in the Official Gazette, and the CBI. The Central Bank law gave full power to the Monetary Authority to change the structure of the Iraqi currency. The law clearly states that the CBI shall issue regulations as necessary for the implementation of this law. We have tariffs going into effect on June 1st and a new currency they are prepping for release soon (LD's). When they are ready they will send an IMF approved, adjusted rate to the BIS and from there released back to all the central banks, which is when we will get our first public glimpse of it. I speculate that we don't have much further to go.

  5. Dear Abby, My husband has a long record of money problems. He runs up huge credit-card bills and at the end of the month, if I try to pay them off, he shouts at me, saying I am stealing his money. He says pay the minimum and let our kids worry about the rest, but already we can hardly keep up with the interest. Also he has been so arrogant and abusive toward our neighbors that most of them no longer speak to us. The few that do are an odd bunch, to whom he has been giving a lot of expensive gifts, running up our bills even more. Also, he has gotten religious. One week he hangs out with Catholics and the next with people who say the Pope is the Anti-Christ, and the next he's with Muslims.. Finally, the last straw. He's demanding that before anyone can be in the same room with him, they must sign a loyalty oath. It's just so horribly creepy! Can you help? Signed, Lost Dear Lost, Stop whining, Michelle.   6. The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have easily beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her mobile phone and makeup. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Honk if You Love Jesus' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

  7. This may be a good thing for us. If you are regulating the buying of US dollars, you are in fact regulating the selling of the Iraqi dinar. This is something that we have been waiting on for a long time. Granted the wording is a bit cryptic and he uses the funding of terrorists as the reasoning behind this, but by now most of us are getting pretty good at reading between the lines. When he says that they need to make sure that the exchange is for trade purposes, he is in effect saying that they need to make sure people are not purchasing dinar as an investment. He reinforces this when he talks about the change in the exchange rate of the Syrian pound and the Iranian rial. If you read this in light of the articles that have come out about reducing the value of the US dollar (raising the value of the dinar), the true motivation behind this becomes more obvious.   8. How do people get brainwashed so easily that common sense just gets up and walks out of the room??? I see it like this...you can either vote for Dr. Ron Paul or you can continue to vote for the establishment. I value my vote and will not be talked out of what I know to be right, especially by the media. Too many people like this are sold/told that you either vote for "in this case" Obama or Romney or you throw your vote away. The fact is if you want real change and your freedom and liberty back but vote for anyone but Ron Paul then you should be happy when they come for you by using the Patriot Act, the NDAA , or any other "so called" law that some how gets more authority than the United States Constitution! These people who get divided like a rooting for a sports team are the people causing the problems. If you don't know or understand the issues and just cast a vote because of your favorite program on the tv then you are miss informed. Most people who aren't with the Ron Paul Campaign is only because they haven't heard the real issues. I personally am so surprised that 60%+ of the people in this Country use cash everyday but have no understanding about the currency they use to live. It is like being told on tv how great it is to eat a week old mc D's cheeseburger when really you can have the best meal ever made... no thanks I'll have the week old burger?????? Are you kidding me???? WAKE up AMERICA! Turn your tv OFF and read these bills if nothing else that will cure your need for another puppet in office. We need you too Lutie!

  9. 1200 dinar to $1 is a WORSE rate than we have now, that would make 1000 dinar be worth $0.83 while now (at 1166 dinars to $1) it is worth $0.86 . 1300:1 is of course worse yet making 1000 dinars be worth $0.77 . Doing so with a "new currency" would also be pointless as this pretty close what the current IQD is exchanged at, so why have a new currency? i.e. this makes no sense.

  10. The Cab Ride I arrived at the address and honked the horn. after waiting a few minutes I walked to the door and knocked.. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor. After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940's movie. By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets. There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware.. 'Would you carry my bag out to the car?' she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman. She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb. She kept thanking me for my kindness. 'It's nothing', I told her.. 'I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother to be treated.' 'Oh, you're such a good boy, she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address and then asked, 'Could you drive through downtown?' 'It's not the shortest way,' I answered quickly.. 'Oh, I don't mind,' she said. 'I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice. I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. 'I don't have any family left,' she continued in a soft voice.. 'The doctor says I don't have very long.' I quietly reached over and shut off the meter. 'What route would you like me to take?' I asked. For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator. We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl. Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing. As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, 'I'm tired. Let's go now'. We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico. Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her. I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair. 'How much do I owe you?' She asked, reaching into her purse. 'Nothing,' I said 'You have to make a living,' she answered. 'There are other passengers,' I responded. Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly. 'You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,' she said 'Thank you.' I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light.. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life.. I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift? What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away? On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in my life. We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments. But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one. PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID ~BUT~THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL You won't get any big surprise in 10 days if you send this to ten people. But, you might help make the world a little kinder and more compassionate by sending. it on and reminding us that often it is the random acts of kindness that most benefit all of us. ­­ I wanted to share as I thought that this is a beautiful reminder that lifes moments can be too fleeting.

Pay more attantion to what the the IMF does, and if Iraq accepts putting their currency back into IMF Article 8...this will make the IQD internationally tradeable....CH7 has NOTHING to do with their currency being internationally tradeable...CH7 is simply a guideline under which sanctions are placed on a country that is a threat to it's neighbors and the surrounding region.   16. I haven't done the research to determine if those figures are accurate, but I know for a fact that the PREMISE of your post is legitimate. There is a LOT more money out there, and a LOT more POTENTIAL money, than the average investor has any clue of. If anyone thinks the government actually tells the truth, I guess you could argue my point. Those of us that know better.... well, we know better. It's not rocket surgery for the love of it all. It's common sense.

Commended the deputy governor of the Central Bank of the appearance of Mohammed that the project to delete the three zeroes from the Iraqi currency does not need new legislation but issued a regulation to serve as instructions as stipulated by the Central Bank Law. Saleh said (of the Agency news) on Tuesday: The Bank Act Central gave full authority of the monetary authority to change the structure of the Iraqi currency, or delete the zeros of which can not be new legislation for the project to delete the three zeroes from the currency as it has been discussed twice in the House and Minister, and became the executive and legislative branches more familiar with it, noting that the project needs to be issued regulation is an instruction published in the Official Gazette, and the Central Bank is in the process configured. He added that the central bank cut a long way stages of the preparation and implementation of this project through consultation with the States, which fought the experience of replacing the currency after you delete the zeros of and knowledge of cons of the project and its advantages, in addition to his extensive studies, and work is still going to be implemented, likely in its implementation (01/01/2013) after obtaining formal approval by the federal government.   22. Wealth Vs Value. What is Wealth? That is the question you must ask yourself. Money has no wealth and no value. It is given a value to be used as a base for which we can negotiate. This "value" is trying to level equivalents. How much of a Mc Donald's Big Mac is equal to 1 KWhr? Simple question difficult to answer with out some base rates. Now wealth is not currency. Wealth is what currency can BUY. Big difference. America is a VERY wealthy nation. We have acres of forest, tons of valuable minerals and entire states that can feed the world. We can supply a lot of wealth to the world. Money the paper bill you have in your hand has no wealth, it does nothing for society. It does not create Ideas, you could eat it but the five dollars would be more filling if you bought a value meal. In your example yes the individual value of the notes themselves decreases, but the wealth stayed the same. It is just a bigger number to represent the same wealth. Study economics before making statements to try and prove your points.

Judges order Justice Department to clarify Obama remarks on health law case Published April 03, 2012 A federal appeals court is striking back after President Obama cautioned the Supreme Court against overturning the health care overhaul and warned that such an act would be "unprecedented." A three-judge panel for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered the Justice Department to explain by Thursday whether the administration believes judges have the power to strike down a federal law. One justice in particular chided the administration for what he said was being perceived as a "challenge" to judicial authority -- referring directly to Obama's latest comments about the Supreme Court's review of the health care case. The testy exchange played out during a hearing over a separate ObamaCare challenge. It marked a new phase in the budding turf war between the executive and judicial branches. "Does the Department of Justice recognize that federal courts have the authority in appropriate circumstances to strike federal statutes because of one or more constitutional infirmities?" Judge Jerry Smith asked at the hearing. Justice Department attorney Dana Lydia Kaersvang answered "yes" to that question. A source inside the courtroom, speaking to Fox News afterward, described the questioning by Smith as pointed. Smith also made clear during that exchange that he was "referring to statements by the president in the past few days to the effect ... that it is somehow inappropriate for what he termed unelected judges to strike acts of Congress." Do we have articles or verification of any kind that we will turn in our IQD to the banks who will then sell it to the US Federal Reserve? ...anything acknowledging Dinars specifically? 3. Do we have articles or verification of any kind (other than hypothetical “what if” scenarios working their way around the dinar community) that confirm future/current IQD in the Federal Reserve will be used to buy oil (either at a discount or at future market value) from Iraq until all IQD is spent and made a round trip back to the CBI? For example, A heart is worth around 60,000, each lung, 60,000, a retina, 42,000; but since we cant go around harvesting each others organs this was not included in the 28.2 Trillion that make up the US.   42. Gold has gained for the last 11 years. Is it too late now to make a Gold Investment...?THERE ARE a lot of reasons we at Casey Research think gold is still a good investment, writes Casey's Big Gold editor Jeff Clark. From inflation fears and sovereign debt concerns to deeper, systemic economic problems. But let's be honest: It's been rising for over 11 years now, and only the imprudent would fail to think about when the run might end. Is it time to start eyeing the exit? In a word, no. Here's why. There's one indicator that clearly signals we're still in the bull market – and further, that we can expect prices to continue to rise. That indicator is negative real interest rates. The real interest rate is simply the nominal rate minus inflation. For example, if you earn 4% on an interest-bearing investment and inflation is 2%, your real return is +2%. Conversely, if your investment earns 1% but inflation is 3%, your real rate is -2%. This calculation is the same regardless of how high either rate may be: a 15% interest rate and 13% inflation still nets you 2%. This is why high interest rates are not necessarily negative for gold; it's the real rate that impacts what gold will ultimately do. The chart below calculates the real interest rate by extracting annualized inflation from the 10-year Treasury nominal rate. Gray highlighted areas are the periods when the real interest rate was below zero, and as you can see, this is when gold has performed well. Gold climbs when real interest rates are low or falling, while high or rising real rates negatively impact it. This pattern was true in the 1970s and it's true today. A closer study of this chart tells us there's actually a critical number for real rates that seem to have the most impact on gold. Take a look at how gold performs when real rates are at 2% or below. The reason for this phenomenon is straightforward. When real interest rates are at or below zero, cash or debt instruments (like bonds) cease being effective because the return is lower than inflation. In these cases, the investment is actually losing purchasing power – regardless of what the investment pays. An investor's interest thus shifts to assets that offer returns above inflation...or at least a vehicle where money doesn't lose value. Gold is one of the most reliable and proven tools in this scenario. Politicians in the US, EU, and a range of other countries are keeping interest rates low, which, in spite of a low CPI, pushes real rates below zero. This makes cash and Treasuries guaranteed losers right now. Not only are investors maintaining purchasing power with gold, they're outpacing most interest-bearing investments due to the rising price of the metal. Here's another way to verify this trend. As the following chart shows, from January 1970 through January 1980 gold returned a total of 1,832.6%. This is much higher than inflation during that decade, which totaled 105.8%. In the current bull market, gold has gained 556.3% since 2001, while inflation has thus far totaled 30%. Further supporting this thesis is the fact that when real rates are positive, gold has not performed well. You can see this in the following chart of when real interest rates were higher than inflation. The Gold Price fluctuated between $300 and $500 for the twenty-year period when rates were positive. This is a strong reminder that bull markets don't last forever – even golden ones – and that at some point we'll need to sell to lock in a profit. So if history demonstrates that gold does well during a negative-rate environment and poorly during positive periods, the natural question becomes... US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke stated in January that he expects to keep short-term interest rates close to zero "at least through late 2014." This low-rate, loose-money policy is intended to "support a stronger economic recovery and reduce unemployment." While his strategy is debatable, this implies that almost any inflation at all will continue to keep the real rate negative and thus gold will stay in a bull market. What if the economy improves? After all, there are economic data showing the economy may be finding its footing, making some believe interest rates could be raised earlier, as soon as next year. Based on the data above, the answer to the question is, "What does inflation do?" In other words, interest-rate fluctuations alone aren't important; it's how the rate interacts with the inflation rate. If inflation simultaneously rises and keeps the real rate negative, we should expect gold to remain in a bull market. With the obscene amount of money that's already been printed, high inflation seems almost certain at some point, even if there isn't any more money creation. This is why we think the end to the gold bull market is not yet in sight. One more point. You'll notice in the above charts that this trend doesn't reverse on a dime. It takes anywhere from months to years for investors to shift from interest-bearing investments to metals – and vice versa. And the longer the trend, the slower the change. Real rates have been negative for a decade now, and with broad institutional investment in gold largely still in absentia, it seems reasonable to expect that the trend in gold won't shift anytime soon. Armed with these data, there are reasonable expectations you can have going forward: You can Buy Gold today. As long as real interest rates are negative, gold will likely remain in a bull market. If you already own some gold, you can and should ask yourself if it's enough at a time when money in the bank is a losing proposition. Don't get flummoxed when you hear talk about rising rates. Watch the real rate instead. In our opinion, real rates will be negative for some time for the simple reason that we think inflation will be rising for some time. Ask yourself: Will the Fed and other central banks raise rates aggressively enough to catch up to inflation? Someday, sure...but not anytime soon. When real rates turn positive, especially above 2%, it may be time to sell. We'll have to see what's going on in the world at that time; if there's financial chaos, the fear factor could cause gold to depart from this historic pattern. But even if not, keep in mind that while the price of gold fluctuates every day, the shift out of gold-based investments won't occur overnight. There should be time to gain clarity. There are a lot of reasons to own gold today, and there will likely be more before it's time to say goodbye. In the meantime, we take comfort in the fact that the strongest historical indicator of all tells us the gold bull market is alive and well and has years to play out.
