  1. WAIT... DON'T PANIC!!! (Emaled in from TS) 12/21/2011 _WAIT.., DON'T PANIC!!! Before you go to yell at your Guru or sell back your IQD at a loss because of the harsh news and rumors that has flooded the boards over the last few days, read this first! Lets be Students of History – Kuwait's RV! When Kuwait RV'd their currency about 5 years ago, did you know that they had all kinds of propaganda in the news – including stating that their leader had died! Kuwait's Central Bank held a Currency Auction the day before Kuwait RV'd their currency! Kuwait's News Media said it would be months before there would be any chance for a RV! - Then it RV'd the next day! As I had just said, Kuwait's Leader was reported to have supposedly died – then, three days later he made the RV announcement! So, what does this Teach Us? Think about it, even back then when there was much less anticipation to what we have going with IRAQ's IQD – they felt it necessary to mislead their people and possibly the world of the timing of their Dinar. Read More Link on Right About two months ago an intelligent man, Vic (from The IQD Team) said on one of their Conference Calls in response to a question: (paraphrased) “Iraq will RV their currency when we least expect it!” Those wise words stuck with me, and should be of consequence to you as well. Think about it, What is Going on Right Now? It looks like the wheels are coming off the cart, everything is going to hell in a hand-basket over there in Iraq with Maliki and the whole Parliament – right???!!! Don't Panic - It IS “SMOKE”!!!! Today the Washington Post reported that a $640 Million Oil Contract was issued!!! What??? – I thought they were “falling apart”??? NOPE! Today we are hearing “Intel” (how reliable, I cannot confirm that) that many Contractors have been told by the GOI to get to IRAQ and start their Contracts ASAP!!! If true, then how can that be if the GOI is coming “unglued”??? You've heard it a million times.... “FOLLOW THE MONEY”!!!! Iraq would not be issuing huge mega million dollar contracts and telling other contractors to get over to Iraq if the place was falling apart like so many rumor mills and boards have been indicating! I hope this little walk through of logic has helped you my fellow Dinarian Friends! :-)

  2. HAHAHA.. garbage in garbage out... you are desperately trying to work up ANY angle, even though this was 20YEARS AGO !!! That only proves the progs are scared because they can see their reign of lies, innuendo, arrogance, and deception coming to a very abrupt end. I see they are admitting that Ron Paul "might" win Iowa, the truth is other polls have him leading with 52% of the vote. The sites motto says it all "read less, know more"... what crap, get your opinion from some progressive slob instead of bothering to research anything for yourself. How can you justify going after Paul for something a staff wrote 20 years ago, and yet ignore all the controversy about Obama? There is NOTHING "FAIR" about your attacks, but that's OK, it's fun watching the left wingnuts thrash about in their death throes. Did you hear about the democrats that had to plead guilty in New York to election fraud? Add that to the chairman of the Indiana Democratic Party that had to resign because of the Obama fraud, and you start to get a picture of how they actually operate. Oh wait, the ends justify the means for the mobs, huh?

  4. Who cares about all of the fine details?....Kuwait's currency took a dive into the crapper due to war...just like Iraq has.....then it came back up drastically...there were many who made a fortune off of this...how it happened and all of the details....I really don't give a Sh*t.....Sure, it was a different type scenario, but the damn currency fell and then it rose back up....Call it an RV or a UFO....but some did make money.....it was mostly those in the know...google and much of the computer technology was'nt available back then for as many to know what was really going on...and we still don't know every detail about how that actually went down in it's entirety...just like we probably never will know what all is actually behind the Iraqi Dinar...lol...All IMO....

I know you might say I don’t post anything or where the heck did you come from but have to believe me on this one. I watch all of the websites have been hearing bogus rumor after rumor after rumor about rates and dates or stupid screens that are blank and showing 0000's. The RV will happen but not until the beginning of the year so relax everyone enjoy your Holidays and don’t stress out anymore. It’s all tied to our troops once they get paid to leave then we get paid my contact works at the bank and she said it will happen beginning of next year thats when the Zero's will be romved and our RV will happen. I’m not here to pump anyone just sharing the information I receive. I hope you guys have a great Day RGD

  9. You know what I find curious, and a bit ironic. When George Bush went into Iraq in 2003 he was mauled by the mainstream U.S. media as being responsible for tens of thousands of Iraqi deaths...with blood on his hands. Now that our illustrious leader has precipitously pulled out all remaining American troops, against the advise of his military leaders (to essentially ingratiate himself with his rabid left base) he is throwing the Iraqi people to the wolves and into chaos...hence the bombings today on a wide scale. Don't hold your breath waiting for the same condemnation from the leftist mainstream media. Apparently they are only outraged when bloodshed is caused by the right, but remain silent when the same is done by one of their own on the extreme left. The media proves once again that they are motivated by political agenda and not by objective journalism (I do not include Fox News with this bunch). Neville Chamberlain would be proud of our president and his lackeys in the media.

  10. yes that is very clear. They are terrorist by their own words and deeds. Their leader got caught for terrorisim and has a warrant out for his arrest and how do they respond? More terrorist acts. If anyone cannot see who the bad guys are in all of this they must be blind. They need to serve that warrant and arrest Hassimi and get to the other terrorist leaders as well. My guess the man at the top of all of the terror attacks all these years has been Allawi.

  14. Thank you for your thoughts! While I agree with your points in someway, I have a little different perspective on it. First of all, all guru rants and raving, with all the high level intel only really happens in this section....Rumors. With that being said, everyone knows who the "guru's" are, and hopefully are able to determine for themselves, if the "guru" is credible. Second, titles are like excuses....everyone has one! Some of the experts are very knowledgeable, Bondlandy, Adam to name two. All others, as they say.......proceed with caution!!! Third, there is a disclaimer on almost all pages, that warned people that they should be careful what they read, and not to purchase anymore dinars than they can afford. I agree, that this is frustrating to read everyday, so once in a while when I get really frustrated, I just don't come here for a few days. Then, when I do come by, it is fun again. Taking a break is always a good idea, otherwise, you will go crazyyyyyy!! Good Luck to all, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to all my dinar brothers, and sisters out there!!! Go RV!!!

  15. I watched the situation room on CNN hosted by Wolf Blitzer Tuesday night. He said that Iraq is headed to a civil war.He lashed out about Maliki and the lack of forming a working government. He also added many things and talked to other people, about Iraq...There opinions all have been true, they also said American Contractors should get out of Iraq, as they say the situation is way to unstable their...Now look today , Bagdhad gets bombed, 60 are dead, over 100 injured...Sorry I do not have a link, but you should be able to find it very easilly....Now as far as Dinar goes, this is just my opinion, but we are screwed, never gonna happen.......God Bless all our military and a few good friends of mine that served in that country and did not come home...for I feel they died in vaine in a country so corrupt it makes me sick....Peace....sorry for any spelling errors.

  17. [Adam Montana] I'm going to get straight to this [Adam Montana] first - I want to let you all know that I don't think anything is happening before the end of the year [Adam Montana] simple reason: The WORLD banking systems need to all be on board and ready to cooperate with a major change in the Iraqi Dinar [Adam Montana] and with Christmas, NYE, the withdrawal of the troops, the political MESS going on in Iraq right now - I just don't see it happening immediately [Adam Montana] HOWEVER, don't despair! I'm not throwing the towel in by any means, in fact - I LOVE what I'm seeing [Adam Montana] let's analyze the entire situation from a rational point of view [Adam Montana] first, with a major change in the IQD value there is going to be a ton of scuttlebutt in the power areas in not only Iraq, but also every major agency that benefits or is affected by a major change in wealth [Adam Montana] a TON of it! Everything we're seeing right now is indicative of a major change coming soon, and I absolutely love it! [Adam Montana] you should too - for those of you that are new to this investment, "patience" is the word of the week, EVERY week [Adam Montana] for those of you that are not new to the investment, you know this already... but you should see it just like I do [Adam Montana] this change, this ruckus, and these "big" news events are all significant [Adam Montana] and they signify a coming change [Adam Montana] so, which way is that change going? [Adam Montana] look at the basics, as always. Nothing about the basics has changed [Adam Montana] Iraq is still moving forward, from a very very low point to a very stable and capable state [Adam Montana] that means PROGRESS is being made, not the opposite [Adam Montana] here's a great article that came out just recently: [Adam Montana] http://iqd.me/l/13s [Adam Montana] lots of great comments there too [Adam Montana] ok, so with all that said - I'm behind on shopping still, and it's the holidays... so I'm going to make this chat a little shorter [Adam Montana] kcw, let's blaze through these questions. OH! And before I forget, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you that read this, your families, and God bless this beautiful country, our troops, and our vets everywhere [kcw] Elixirbaby I heard you sister is Hannah Montana. Can I get an autograph? Just kidding. Just wanted to say thanks for this forum and the mods for all they do. Merry Christmas. Go RV [Adam Montana] I think it's been over a year since anyone brought her into this chat room! [Adam Montana] thanks for the laugh, and Merry Christmas to you too [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] SINGH I understand smoke and mirros, follow the money thing, but with all this in-fighting and arrest happening, do you think Maliki is cleaning house of the bad apples, for the betterment of the country/people or is he playing a dictator role? [Adam Montana] this is a great question [kcw] Thanks in advance for answering and if not still thank you for all you do. (forgot the last part) [Adam Montana] I'm not going to specifically point at Maliki, but YES house cleaning is going to happen. Heads will roll, people will be removed from power, changes will happen, and we are just seeing the start of some major changes [Adam Montana] if you're ever bored and want to learn about what's going on right now behind the scenes in Iraq [Adam Montana] check out these two books: [Adam Montana] 1. 48 laws of power by Robert Greene [Adam Montana] and [Adam Montana] give me a minute, I'll remember it in a second. The word is escaping me [Adam Montana] next please kcw, I'll come back to that one [kcw] chess Adam: Parliament out till 01/03/12 (?)....does that halt a RV until at least after then? [Adam Montana] In a word - yes. Not just because of the recess, but because everything has to take it's course [Adam Montana] one thing to keep in mind is that the fiscal year begins Jan 1. Since we don't expect to see a resolution to ALL of this by then, we're looking at LEAST 2 weeks out. [Adam Montana] I know the other sites are going to slam me for that, but I'm not here to yell "RV TOMORROW" when I know it's not going to happen [Adam Montana] next please kcw [[kcw] OregonHopeful Adam, since it is illegal to transport large amounts of IQD out of Iraq, how do the dinar dealers get all the dinar they sell? [Adam Montana] That's kind of a funny question, because it's one of the truly confusing things about the Paper Dina [Adam Montana] it's kind of like a "We reserve the right to refuse service" [Adam Montana] that allows them to get a better grip on counterfeiting, illegal activity, etc [Adam Montana] the dinars that the dealers in the US sell are legally obtained with the permission of the CBI [Adam Montana] I know that doesn't explain the complete policy that you're looking at [Adam Montana] but I hope it reassures you that you aren't buying something that is illegal [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] gakman Adam: In the last week there seems to be a rapid shift in negative articles hitting the press. Examples: No release from Ch. 7, Allawi has returned and is fighting with Maliki, Maliki assasination attempt, Parliament- since one bloc has pulled out; no quorum is established- another recess until January 3rd, HCL cannot even be discussed- how is it going to be voted on and passed? Seems a lot of turmoil as of late- your houghts? Thank you [Adam Montana] yep! Lots of turmoil [Adam Montana] and I love it [Adam Montana] we're going to see it get even crazier before they roll out the red carpet [Adam Montana] but it's something that simply has to happen [Adam Montana] at this time, Iraq is still perfectly stable and I don't see anything to worry about [Adam Montana] so, in my opinion - the crazier the better! Because the sooner they get their affairs in order, the better [Adam Montana] and we all know the "status quo" of the last few years didn't spark the RV [Adam Montana] so I am excited to see some major news [Adam Montana] call it smoke, call it necessary, call it whatever you want - the bottom line is things are moving [Adam Montana] and I am happy with that [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] swtdesign Adam, thank you for your assistance. I have a question about the speculation rate of .10. If Iraqi wants to secure the dinar that is in circulation, don't you think a 1:1 rate would be a better place to start? If it is .10 and buy back at bank is .085 minus cost of dinar and cost of dinarvets (good investment) and taxes; at 20 thousand per 500 I will reinvest and sit another 2 years. So how will that help them? I'm on econ 101, thanks. [Adam Montana] This is also a good question [Adam Montana] I wrote a thesis on it a few weeks back - check my blog for it [Adam Montana] basically - a 1:1 RV would work, and it would be great, BUT Iraq is missing out on potential profits if they do that. [Adam Montana] a .10 RV would also be great and would work just as well, the difference is the CBI can make extra money by charging a spread on people cashing in MULTIPLE TIMES [Adam Montana] if the RV hits at a dime, you're probably going to cash in some, then wait to see if it goes up. If it does, you just might buy some more. I know I will! [Adam Montana] the CBI can easily make 10X the money by coming out low and then raising it slowly and methodically [Adam Montana] the other side of the coin is that if they come out at a straight 1:1 value, it will be easier to educate the masses and might result in a more stable dinar [Adam Montana] either way we make money, so... I guess we wait and see [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] quadkidd1 Adam, Have you heard the Glen Beck conversation where he starts to discuss (a currency) not named that could have a great return and then says he will look into it more and comment next week about it.... and then nothing else was ever brought up again about this topic ? If so what do you make of this ? Thanks in advance [Adam Montana] [Adam Montana] I think Glenn Beck was about to talk about the Dinar [Adam Montana] and then realized how complicated the subject actually is [Adam Montana] and backed off [Adam Montana] he's a smart man - you don't get his ratings by doing foolish things [Adam Montana] by the way, the other book I was going to suggest is "The Perfect Courtier" by Baldassare Castiglione [Adam Montana] look it up, it's an interesting read and may help a lot of people understand what is going on behind the scenes as Maliki and the rest of the "power players" in Iraq struggle for the top seat. [Adam Montana] When I say "top seat", I'm not talking about Presidency or Director or a "title" [Adam Montana] I'm talking about the true power, because there is a LOT of "behind the scenes" power at stake here. [Adam Montana] next please kcw [kcw] javantez hi adam my question is if iraq decides to rv incountry those of us who live in the us how would that affect us ? [Adam Montana] uh oh... you're not going to like this [Adam Montana] if they RV in country, we're probably screwed. [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] pattyangel I was hoping that we wouldn't have a chat this time around, but more of a celebration. You said that the UN had to officially announce Iraq a Fully Sovereign Country and everything should follow through, do you still stand firm on this? MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND FAMILY [Adam Montana] I do! Even with everything happening at the local level in Iraq, the UN still needs to sign off and approve a full release from Chapter 7 [Adam Montana] again, I still don't see anything to worry about - once the dust settles over these last few issues, there is nothing that should stop the UN from signing off on that [Adam Montana] Iraq deserves it, the world will benefit, and it's just a short matter of time [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] pluMmet Hey Adam- Something seems strange to me.. In this article that came out after the whole trying to kill Maliki thing a GOI rep said the following "political crisis taking place now in Iraq has affected negatively on the Iraqi dinar exchange rate and the dinar fell by 4 percent during the past two days." As we can see the CBI remains unchanged yet as I reflect I seem to recall similar statements of fluctuations in the recent IQD news (past few months.) Where are these fluctuations being felt if not in our ordering of IQD and not on the CBI website? p.s. MODs rule [Adam Montana] MODs rule l0psters drool? [Adam Montana] This is a non-issue, when you take into account everything else that is going on [Adam Montana] a lot of currencies took a hit this week [Adam Montana] if you go back to that other article I mentioned at the beginning of this chat [Adam Montana] you'll see that even though things go up and down, the CBI still has a tight grip on their money supply, the value of it, and the future value [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] marnie Thank you Adam in advance for all your knowledge. Adam, In your opionion is the RV a part of the "plan" to deal with the global Financial Crisis? (i.e. bailout for European debt) If so, certainly will only be short term solution for a country that has gone from being the biggest "lender" to the biggest "borrower". [Adam Montana] hmm... ok, let me approach this from two angles [Adam Montana] #1, the Dinar is going to help the entire world - YES. [Adam Montana] but #2, I don't buy a large conspiracy theory that is putting the Dinar as the economic savior [Adam Montana] the Dinar will go up because of GREED, not because of CRISIS. [Adam Montana] in this case, the end result is the same - to quote Michael Douglas in Wall Street - "Greed is good". [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] waitingondinar hey Adam, I have read in one of the posts that this process could take to 2013?? With all the latest negativity, regarding Mutlaq and Malaki, and Hashemi, can this process continue to an RV? Does it appear at this point in time that 2011 is not in the cards for an RV? [Adam Montana] I don't see an RV in 2011 - they missed a critical window over the last 30 days [Adam Montana] Sorry to be the bearer of that opinion [Adam Montana] "Could" it take till 2013? Sure..... but I don't think it will. They are too close, too many things are ripe, and there are too few reasons to push it back that far [Adam Montana] It's not a concrete answer, but I hope it helps [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] luckyone Hi Adam, I have heard several times in this forum that if there is an RV first then there won't be a bunny-ear/RD later. What is your take on this? Thanks and have a good xmas. [Adam Montana] I agree with that [Adam Montana] except the RD part [Adam Montana] if they RV tomorrow [Adam Montana] they MUST issue new denominations [Adam Montana] so if that's what you consider an RD, then YES there will simply be an RV, then an RD [Adam Montana] but they would happen almost simultaneously [Adam Montana] so when an Iraqi citizen cashes in a 25k note [Adam Montana] they will have to get smaller notes in return [Adam Montana] hopefully that makes sense. Basically, I'm just saying that an RD does not mean a loss of value [Adam Montana] [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] truthful1 Adam, when you hear, parliament agrees with the need to delete the three zeroes, what is your understanding of this type of statement, rv or bunny-ear? Thanks for all you do here at dv, and the time you spend answering questions. Happy holidays! [Adam Montana] I don't believe a word they say [Adam Montana] they say one thing on Monday, then another on Tuesday, deny they said i on Wednesday, then take a break on Thursday [Adam Montana] you really can't pay attention to every article they put out. Look at what's actually happening, and you'll see that they are simply moving forward. [Adam Montana] ok everyone, I think that's it! I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, a happy new year, and I hope I'm wrong about my timeline. [Adam Montana] but if not, cherish your loved ones, don't let the holidays drive you crazy, and GO RV!!!!

  24. An IRS opinion on form 8938 Fortunately, none of this applies to private citizens who happen to be holding foreign currency. I took the time to call the IRS this afternoon. I spoke to a supervisor named Ms. Theresa Klier (Employee# 1000349035). She informed me that this form has been in existence since June of this year following heightened attempts by speculators in recent months to shield themselves from federal levies, so the obligation to report income derived from foreign currency didn’t suddenly become law last week. She said that the IRS is targeting a specific group of individuals who, until now, have been hiding assets with the specific intent of avoiding taxation by the Treasury Department. Per Ms. Klier, the federal government requires individuals to complete Form 8938 only under the following circumstances: 1) If you hold stock issued by a foreign corporation 2) If you earn capital or have accrued interest from profits earned through a foreign partnership 3) If you hold notes, bonds, debentures or other debt instruments issued by a foreign entity 4) If you’ve earned interest in a foreign trust or a foreign estate 5) If you hold options or other derivative instruments with respect to any of the forgoing examples or with respect to any currency or commodity that’s entered into with a foreign counter-party or issuer ***I made a point of asking her if currency secured through a licensed currency trader would bring a private citizen under the purview of the laws that Form 8938 is designed to enforce and she said “NO”. Other than the conditions referenced above, we would only be obliged to fill that form out if we purchased the currency directly from a foreign agent or any bank or agent operating outside of our borders***

I hope I'm wrong about my timeline. 12-21-2011 Guru Enorrste It seems that the RV will come in gradually, starting at 1 to 1 with the dollar, then moving up from there, although I have no idea how long it will take to get to $3.50. They announced the issuance of a "new" 50 dinar note that will be introduced in the very near future. It will be worth 50,000 dinars at the current rate ($43) and will help to tide over the problems of removing the final 25000 dinar notes. The new note will be different than the current 50 dinar note, which is essentially worthless anyway. Then, as the remaining 25000 notes are removed other smaller denoms of the new currency will be issued, including coins. This could happen at any time, but most likely beginning in 2012 as stated in articles. Then a "float" would be allowed to let the new currency find equilibrium, most likely above $3.50, but the timing is up in the air (at least for me). 12-21-2011 Guru Adam Montana Lots of turmoil...we're going to see it get even crazier before they roll out the red carpet but it's something that simply has to happen, at this time, Iraq is still perfectly stable and I don't see anything to worry about so, in my opinion - the crazier the better! Because the sooner they get their affairs in order, the better and we all know the "status quo" of the last few years didn't spark the RV so I am excited to see some major news call it smoke, call it necessary, call it whatever you want - the bottom line is things are moving and I am happy with that.

  26. You say Comrade Obama and his other half are "nice people?" Well, perhaps I don't know what "nice" would relate to in this instance, but I know what "liar" and "kickbacks" mean. If they mean "nice," then I understand. And why can't either of them practice "Law" in Illinios anymore? Enjoy and share with as many people as you can.

First of all, I salute this man among men who sacrificed more for their country than most of us veterens did in the Viet Nam War. For unselfish valor and only thinking about the well being of his fellow comrades, he braved enemy fire to save American lives and on four occasions was awarded the Purple Heart, Three Bronze Stars and One Silver Star among other decorations. When I talked to him about this, he said to me, "I was only doing my job." His job is still being done here on the Dinar Vets website and for this, He has my full support for a job well done!!!!!

  29. By Wolf Blitzer, CNN (CNN) – When I got up early Wednesday morning, I got an e-mail from CNN's Arwa Damon in Baghdad. She had been hearing that CIA Director David Petraeus was spotted in Iraq in recent days. She asked me to check it out with my sources in Washington, which, of course, I did. I learned that the retired U.S. Army general who once commanded U.S. forces in Iraq had indeed gone to Iraq, this time as head of the CIA. I was also told he was already back in Washington safe and sound. Petraeus has a long history in Iraq. I had dinner with him in 2005 in Baghdad when things were very gloomy for the entire U.S.-led operation. He later helped put together the surge strategy that tended to stabilize the situation. He knows the country well and, more importantly, the leadership. But things are really on the verge of meltdown right now. Tensions between the Shiite leadership of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and so many of his Sunni coalition partners are intense. The Kurdish leadership, the most pro-American of the bunch, is watching very cautiously and nervously from its semi-autonomous region in the north. There is a serious fear of violence breaking out among the three groups. Talk of a civil war – coming only days after all U.S. troops pulled out of the country – is rampant. Sen. John McCain, the ranking member of the Armed Services Committee and a frequent visitor to Iraq, told me Tuesday that he doesn’t have confidence in al-Maliki. I don’t think a lot of American experts both inside and outside the government do have confidence in him. His leadership is lacking. A deputy prime minister who’s a Sunni told Damon that al-Maliki is like a “mini-Saddam Hussein.” A vice president, also a Sunni, has been accused of supporting terrorism and is now holed up in Kurdistan. None of this bodes well for Iraq, or the 17,000 American diplomats and private security contractors who are still in the country. I’m very worried about their safety. Where's Wolf Blitzer when it comes to showing the billions and trillions that has been moving into Iraq...and still is....regardless of bombings....CNN out of Europe shows most of the progress pretty much....but here in the U.S....we see some of the same pics of stuff that was blown up even years ago...lol...IMO...there will always be problems in the entire middle eastern region,, as that's where it will all END anyway...but for now, Iraq is the only country doing anything monetarily positive on the planet...There are too many world superpowers invested, so as to let them fail...no matter how many bombs go off...as they've been going off before we came in, they've been going off while we were there, and why would it all just stop abruptly just because we just left...there is what in the corporate world of big money that's called "Expected Collatteral Liabilities"....as we see that the money is still flowing towards Iraq in an unprecedented flow like the world has never seen!...

  40. Can you imagine that! Having a sex slave shop next door to the 7-11? This is one of those contradictions that really puzzle me (it happens). The, let's say, more politically progressive people in the U.S. seem to have an affinity for the Arabization of western culture (as well as atheists, OWSists, abortionists, unionists, etc., but save that for another day). The embracing of a culture that tolerates this sex-slave thinking via Sharia Law, seems to contradict the whole women's rights, minorities rights, prisoner's rights, touchy-feely, amnesty international mind set - don't you think? Yet, our more liberal friends would have us ditch Israel and hand over their lands to a tribe of Palstinians, respect their rights to "honor killings" and allow their laws to either influence our laws or be practiced in areas of our country. We can't "profile" anyone wearing a burka at the airport, and have to respect their "rights" to not ever, ever, ever, ever having to be shocked at the sight of a nativity scene in a public place. Sorry, didn't mean to take all of the fun out of this really telling news item. P.S. Why should they stop there? They could empty orphanages all over the world. What about all of those Chinese kids that are "extra"?

Read more: Neighbors eye Iraq's sectarian rift with unease By Angus McDowall and Parisa Hafezi Riyadh/Tehran: Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah told US diplomats that by toppling the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, the United States had presented Iraq to Iran “on a golden platter”. That assessment, recorded in a 2005 embassy cable released by WikiLeaks, was affirmed in the eyes of Saudi Arabia’s Sunni Muslim rulers by the outbreak of sectarian squabbling that followed this week’s departure of the last American troops from Iraq after almost nine years of occupation. The decision by the Shi’ite prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to seek the arrest of his Sunni vice-president on terrorism charges has pushed Iraq’s fragile coalition to the verge of collapse, raising the spectre of renewed civil war — with alarming implications for all its neighbours. “The Saudi government is worried about the departure of American troops because now Iranian influence can become direct instead of indirect. There is nothing now to balance Iranian rule, so things might get worse,” one Saudi official said. The chaos that followed the 2003 US invasion and toppling of Saddam turned Iraq into a regional bear pit, where Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria and Turkey backed different sides in a messy struggle that pitted Shi’ites against Sunnis and Arabs against Kurds. For its part, Iraq’s Shi’ite-led government fears that the uprising in neighbouring Syria may unhinge its own delicate sectarian balance, no longer protected by an American military presence. Iraq’s Shi’ite leaders say they fear that a collapse of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s ruling establishment, dominated by members of the Alawite Shi’ite sect and allied with Iran, may usher in a hardline Sunni government on its doorstep, risking a spillover of violence into Iraq and encouraging Iraqi Sunni militants. Iraq's Shi'ite leaders say they fear that a collapse of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's ruling establishment, dominated by members of the Alawite Shi'ite sect and allied with Iran. Reuters “Nature abhors a vacuum, and the relative power vacuum in Baghdad is going to draw in the neighbours,” said Stephen Biddle at the US-based Council of Foreign Relations. High stakes Iran arguably now has more to lose from renewed fighting than the other regional heavyweights, particularly in light of the spiralling bloodshed in Syria, an ally that allowed Tehran to extend its influence as far as the Mediterranean. Tehran’s clerical rulers were widely seen to have come out as the biggest winners after the fall of Saddam, with the emergence of their old ally Maliki and his Dawa party as the strongest political force in Iraq. However, despite the risk that renewed unrest might alter this favourable political equation, Iran pushed for US troops to withdraw, regarding their presence on its western flank as a constant threat. “The US withdrawal has created a power vacuum in Iraq, provoking Iran and Saudi Arabia to fill it in order to increase their influence in the region,” said Iranian analyst Gholamhossein Mirvarzi. ”By increasing its influence in Iraq, Iran aims to challenge the regional Sunni rivals, particularly after (potentially) losing its close ally in Syria,” he added. Iranian officials say they want a calm and stable Iraq and are not seeking a Shi’ite monopoly on power. But as international sanctions have started to bite into the Iranian economy, inflating the prices of imported goods in Tehran’s warren-like bazaar, the rising tensions with Saudi Arabia have deepened its political isolation. Meanwhile, feuding between factions loyal to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has become increasingly open. “Considering Iran’s domestic problems and the developments in Syria, Iran will not be able to play a central security role in Iraq after the US withdrawal,” said Iranian analyst Hossein Farshchian. Across the Gulf, Saudi Arabia has long seen Iraq as the fulcrum of a sectarian divide that could stir unrest among its own Shi’ite minority, concentrated in its oil-producing Eastern Province. In recent months, those concerns seemed to become more urgent, as the Arab Spring inspired a revolt among the Shi’ite majority in Bahrain, whose Sunni ruling family is one of Saudi Arabia’s closest allies. Small protests erupted among Saudi Shi’ites, and persisted throughout the year. Riyadh accusing an unnamed foreign power of instigating violence, hinting that Iran was to blame. These tensions go some way towards explaining why King Abdullah, whose mother’s Shammar tribe includes thousands of Sunni Iraqis, has kept the Shi’ite Maliki at arm’s length. In 2008, Saudi intelligence chief Prince Muqrin told American diplomats that Abdullah viewed the Iraqi prime minister as untrustworthy and “Iranian 100 percent”, according to a cable released by WikiLeaks. In recent weeks, some Iraqi officials have seen a foreign hand behind the push for more autonomy by mainly Sunni provinces bordering Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan. Yet for all that, the influence of Saudi Arabia, which has still not reopened the Baghdad embassy that it closed when Saddam invaded Kuwait in 1991, remains limited. “What can be worse than what has already happened? The Americans leaving will affect Iran more than Saudi Arabia because Saudi Arabia does not have a heavy presence in Iraq,” said Jamal Khashoggi, a former Saudi newspaper editor with ties to the royal family. “It had its friends there, but it kept its distance.” Reuters These are the articles I used in my analysis of the reason for "dumping", or the increae in foreign currency where the cbi liquidated 1 trillion dinar in 48 hours. I love the fact the CBI pulled in a trillion, thats awesome. Is it a ploy to reign in dinar? Maybe. JWJM11 this is why I made my opinion.
