  1. I debated long and hard about posting this and when I finally decided to, I was so frazzled that it was hard for me to figure out how to do it since I am fairly new to this website. My sister went to the foreign currency exchange in Toronto a couple of hours ago to buy some more IQD. They told her that they received a call from Iraq today and are no longer permitted to sell the IQD anymore as "some business is being conducted in Iraq today". We are in shock here as we NEVER hear anything up here in Canada regarding the IQD!!!!

  4. The Truth about a LOP situation, IRAQ IS LOP'n BUT NOT WHAT OTHERS MAKE IT TO BE! Iraq will LOP, the word LOP lately has been misused by others who don't want any of us to become wealthy So listen closely and do your own DD after i present my DD w/ links Here we go! First article is about Turkey LOP'n, all the bashers just loooooove using this as an example so im going to use their own ammo against them, if you guys read some of my previous post you will know how sincerely I LOVE THE TRUTH. http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2004/dec/31/turkey-will-lop-six-zeros-from-its-currency-at/ I want you all to pay attention to the first three paragraphs which says: "ANKARA, Turkey – At midnight tonight, Turkey will cease to be the land of the millionaires and billionaires. That is when the government drops six zeros from the national currency and Turkey loses the dubious distinction of being the country with the largest denomination in circulation, the 20,000,000 lira, worth only about $15. The zeros are the result of decades of double-digit inflation that has taken the currency from 2.8 to the dollar throughout the 1950s to 1,350,000 per dollar today." This means that turkey will remove six zeros FROM THE 1,350,000. NOT THE PHYSICAL PAPER CURRENCY HELD BY PEOPLE BUT THE EXCHANGE RATE So that means the rate of the Turkish money would have changed to 1.35 lira to 1 USD. Now here is the proof that the Turkish lira was trading around that rate(1.35) http://www.netdania.com/Products/live-streaming-currency-exchange-rates/real-time-forex-charts/FinanceChartPopUp.aspx?symbol=USDTRYCOMP.fx|ms_dla&name=USD/TRY if you click on the M button above the chart you will see all the way back to the beginning of 2006 that the rate to the USD was 1.35, and has increased since then (slightly) the article about turkey was December 31, 2004, and the charts i gave link to start at Jan 4, 2005....So as anyone with half a brain can see, that TURKEY TOOK SIX ZEROS OFF THE EXCHANGE RATE, making it 1.35 TRY(lira) to 1 USD, the charts tell the truth...they don't lie, its right there, January 1, 2006 the Turkish lira was trading at 1.35 IRAQ WILL DO THE SAME, TAKE THREE ZEROS OFF THE EXCHANGE RATE, 1170 AND SET A NEW RATE of 1.17 <this is the bare minimum RV, THIS IS, im claiming it, THIS IS THE MINIMUM...NO LOWER THAN THAT, FACTS COUPLED WITH PROOF AND A DABBLE OF DD & ANALYZING SHOWS ALL!!!!!! drops the mic and walks off the amphitheatre stage

  6. OK LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT I'VE BEEN IN THIS INVESTMENT 8 YEARS THIS DECEMBER AND ON THIS FORUM FOR A FEW YEARS. I HAVE DONE A TON OF RESEARCH ON THE RV..IT IS CLEAR TO ME THAT THERE WANT BE A RV ANYTIME SOON AND THAT IS BECAUSE THERE ARE THINGS THAT HAS TO BE ACCOUMPLISHED BEFORE IT CAN RV.. THE GOI IS NOT FORMED, NOT UNTIL "M" MAKES THE ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONAL.. SHABIBI HAS REPEATLY SAID THAT THE RV WILL NOT HAPPEN NOT UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT IS FORMED. CHAPTER 7 IS NOT COMPLETLY CLEARED STILL SOME ARTICLES THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEARED UP, THE HCL LAW HAS NOT BEEN FORMALLY ANNOUNCED. ALSO I'VE BUSTED MY BUTT AND RESEARCHING THE STORY ABOUT THE UST HAVING TRILLIONS OF DINARS AND FOLKS I CAN NOT FIND ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE THAT UST HAS IN ITS POSSESSION TRILLIONS OF DINARS IF YOU CAN SHOW ME EVIDENCE, PROOF, LINKS OR WHATEVER I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD PASS IT ON TO OTHERS..SO FOLKS YOU CAN BASH AWAY IF YOU LIKE, BUT THIS IS MY OPINION ON WHAT I SEE AS THE HOLD UP OF THE RV..

  7. Kurdistan support the draft law of oil and gas prepared parliamentary Declared the Kurdistan Alliance in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Tuesday, expressed support for the draft law of oil and gas in Iraq prepared by the Commission on oil and energy, and voted unanimously by the sixteen members, and submitted it to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives. A member of the Kurdistan Alliance Qassim Mohammed said that "Kurdistan with the draft law of oil and gas, prepared by the relevant committee in the Council and the lifting to the presidency of the Council for discussion, because it is consistent with articles 111 and 112 of the permanent Iraqi constitution, and not have any reservations about it." He was a member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Farhad Atroshi said in an interview earlier (twilight) that his committee has prepared a draft law of oil and gas instead of the bill, passed by the Council of Ministers earlier, indicating that in the absence of a government bill, the Energy Commission agreed to provide alternative prepared by the House of Representatives for a vote. He said Mohammed, a member of the Commission on oil and gas that "is expected to be among some parties comments on the project, so there must be a political consensus to pass in the House of Representatives by a majority of votes." Article 111 of the Constitution of Iraq, which passed on a permanent basis in 2005 that "the oil and gas is the property of all Iraqi people in all the regions and governorates," while Article 112: First: The federal government will administer oil and gas extracted from current fields with the governments of the regions and governorates productive ... and is regulated by law, Second: The federal government and governments of producing regions and provinces together will draw up the necessary strategic policies to develop oil and gas wealth, (...) The special powers are oil and gas sector one of the outstanding contentious issues between the governments in Baghdad and Erbil, which is still moot between the two sides. http://www.shafaaq.com/sh2/news/economy-news/32734-2011-08-09-09-46-39.html

  8. Sorry for my lack of information but I really have nothing more. A friend of mine that got me into this whole investment called me saying she recieved a news alert with this information. It DID NOT say that anything had happened or that a rate was posted. It did say that we should see this sometime today. THAT IS NOT MY PREDICITON. For all of you that will no doubt bash me for saying that. If I actually thought it was truth I wouldn't have asked anyone for their opinion now would I? Simply asking if anyone had heard the same thing. APPARENTLY NOT.

  9. I went back to my 1st Convenience Bank on Rusk Street in Rockwall, Tx. to hopefully get a last buy in. I had a friend go with me so we could combine our resources, as there is a fee if you buy less than 350,000. Not being made of money, I usually have smaller buys. My bank tellers are also invested in it. I asked teller, Lou S., if she had any idea when we might see it RV. She said that Ramadan is slowing it down, but she had heard that it could be as early as the 22nd or 27th of August. She said that the new coins are already out. First Convenience sells them readily, and she said that they will be ready for the exchanges also. I guess I am going to have to hurry to get a name reserve in for OSI. I don't buy in large amounts, but I have bought steadily over the last couple of months, and it does mount up. No idea what the rate will be. If it is just even up, a dollar per dinar, I will be doing my happy dance. Naturally hoping it comes in higher.

HCL, this law prevents them from operating as a business, they need to be able to sell a product so they can back up the value of there currency. and yes i have invested in the dinar and i believe theres a chance of seeing chapter 7 and the HCL resolved before the new year (2012). 13. While driving in slow-moving traffic the other day and the car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8". My husband's Bible was lying on the seat of the car and he got it and opened it up to the scripture and read it. He started laughing and laughing..... then he read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said; I had a good laugh, too! Psalm 109:8 "Let his days be few; and let another take his office. " At last - I can voice a Biblical prayer for our president! Please share this scripture.

  15. If you have ever used an electric fence or know someone who has one you should read this. The language used is a bit salty, but 'he tells it like it is' without cursing. If you don't laugh hysterically at this,....CHECK YOUR PULSE...this is funny....and true. This was sent by a retired dentist. We have the standard 6 ft. fence in the backyard, and a few months ago, I heard about burglaries increasing dramatically in the entire city. To make sure this never happened to me, I got an electric fence and ran a single wire along the top of the fence. Actually, I got the biggest cattle charger Tractor Supply had, made for 26 miles of fence. I then used an 8 ft. long ground rod, and drove it 7.5 feet into the ground. The ground rod is the key, with the more you have in the ground, the better the fence works. One day I'm mowing the back yard with my cheapo Wal-Mart 6 hp big wheel push mower. The hot wire is broken and laying out in the yard. I knew for a fact that I unplugged the charger. I pushed the mower around the wire and reached down to grab it, to throw it out of the way. It seems as though I hadn't remembered to unplug it after all. Now I'm standing there, I've got the running lawnmower in my right hand and the 1.7 giga-volt fence wire in the other hand. Keep in mind the charger is about the size of a marine battery and has a picture of an upside down cow on fire on the cover. Time stood still. The first thing I notice is my pecker trying to climb up the front side of my body. My ears curled downwards and I could feel the lawnmower ignition firing in the backside of my brain. Every time that Briggs & Stratton rolled over, I could feel the spark in my head. I was literally at one with the engine. It seems as though the fence charger and the piece of **** lawnmower were fighting over who would control my electrical impulses. Science says you cannot crap, pee, and vomit at the same time. I beg to differ. Not only did I do all three at once, but my bowels emptied 3 different times in less than half of a second. It was a Matrix kind of bowel movement, where time is creeping along and you're all leaned back and BAM BAM BAM you just crap your pants 3 times. It seemed like there were minutes in between but in reality it was so close together it was like exhaust pulses from a big block Chevy turning 8 grand. At this point I'm about 30 minutes (maybe 2 seconds) into holding onto the fence wire. My hand is wrapped around the wire palm down so I can't let go. I grew up on a farm so I know all about electric fences ... but Dad always had those piece of **** chargers made by International or whoever that were like 9 volts and just kinda tickled. This one I could not let go of. The 8 foot long ground rod is now accepting signals from me through the permadamp Ark-La-Tex river bottom soil. At this point I'm thinking I'm going to have to just man up and take it, until the lawnmower runs out of gas. 'Damn!,' I think, as I remember I just filled the tank! Now the lawnmower is starting to run rough. It has settled into a loping run pattern as if it had some kind of big lawnmower race cam in it. Covered in poop, pee, and with my vomit on my chest I think 'Oh God please die .... Pleeeeaze die'. But nooooo, it settles into the rough lumpy cam idle nicely and remains there, like a big bore roller cam EFI motor waiting for the go command from its owner's right foot. So here I am in the middle of July, 104 degrees, 80% humidity, standing in my own backyard, begging God to kill me. God did not take me that day .... he left me there covered in my own fluids to writhe in the misery my own stupidity had created. I honestly don't know how I got loose from the wire .... I woke up laying on the ground hours later. The lawnmower was beside me, out of gas. It was later on in the day and I was sunburned. There were two large dead grass spots where I had been standing, and then another long skinny dead spot where the wire had laid while I was on the ground still holding on to it. I assume I finally had a seizure and in the resulting thrashing had somehow let go of the wire. Upon waking from my electrically induced sleep I realized a few things: 1 - Three of my teeth seem to have melted. 2 - I now have cramps in the bottoms of my feet and my right butt cheek (not the left, just the right). 3 - Poop, pee, and vomit when all mixed together, do not smell as bad as you might think. 4 - My left eye will not open. 5 - My right eye will not close. 6 - The lawnmower runs like a sumbitch now. Seriously! I think our little session cleared out some carbon fouling or something, because it was better than new after that. 7 - My nuts are still smaller than average yet they are almost a foot long. 8 - I can turn on the TV in the game room by farting while thinking of the number 4 (still don't understand this???). That day changed my life. I now have a newfound respect for things. I appreciate the little things more, and now I always triple check to make sure the fence is unplugged before I mow. The good news, is that if a burglar does try to come over the fence, I can clearly visualize what my security system will do to him, and THAT gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling all over, which also reminds me to triple check before I mow.

  18. Ok so I have observed alot of different thngs on this site in the 5 months Ive been around and I gotta tell you the members here need to take a step back and think about a few things. I see a lot of comments on here talking about how few people are logged on here at any gven time compared to how it used to be. Why is that? Adam commented to the fact there were over 800 members in hs chat last Wednesday night. Why was that? I think the answer to both questions is due to the fact of how extremely hard so many on here are, when a "newbie" post something. Comon guys people read the info on this site and stalk it WAYYYYYY before they become members......EVERY SINGLE post on here by a "newbie" is started by clarifying that they are a "newbie" and "you can bash me". The so called "newbies" are really not new at all. They are grown adults who wait to join until they have something to contribute and then they join to share it......but then as soon as they do you guys pick it a part like its going out of style! Just give the "newbies" a break....their just sharing the info they have tryng to contribute but you guys are starting to run them a way or keep them from posting. We may miss out on some valuable intel(you never know). I know we may also get some crap.....but hey we get crap from members who have been here forever! I know you guys will know when its crap! Lol Then I finally figured out the lopster...........................they are just negative by nature and just dont have it in them to think outside the box but hey thats ok! I have had several conversations with many of the lopsters and they really have no clue what to say when you question their motives or ask questions while asking questions outside the lopster trap. I guess my biggest problem with the lopsters is the fact that they NEVER start a topic of their own and only comment when someone says something positive about a post. Other than that they bring nothin. I have been warned again and put on mod review about a week ago and now back off due to my continued disagreement with the lopsters and now that I know where they are coming from I will not communcate with them any longer. One of them said he was "DONE" yesterday. I hope so! I think we miss out on a lot of information due to these people. There have been a lot of good people come and go on this site and these lopsters are to blame! I remember one time a few months ago when Pheonix came on and posted some info and was immediately attacked and never been back since. This man has some valuable insight and logic about this investment and everything he talks about looks really strong. Just lighten up already! This place is crazy! This is way bigger than anyone can imagine! Look around there are some crazy things going on in this world as it relates to MONEY! I feel we are really close people lets remember positive thoughts breeds positive results! Ps......Mods I have been warned a couple of times for arguing with some of the lopsters and did it with no malitiuos intent as I simply wanted to know why these people are here....I am done and can tell you now I will not communcate with any of the lopsters anylonger! BUT I ask the Mods and Adam to think about what these lopsters bring to the table and its nothing good! They are no longer sharing ther info they wait for a topic and ALL of them go in to promptly contradict and argue every little point and tell everyone how dumb they are! NOT very productive at all! Maybe these people should ALL be banned or at the very least put on Mod Preview..........its always the same ones....There was one in paticular that posted yesterday that they dont even OWN DINAR!!! WOW! Thanks to all the positive people out there who make this all enjoyable ................to the lopsters.............

  19. Well let that be a lesson to you! Never expect to be treated with kindness on this site. There are a few decent people on here but, the vast majority are rude, very unhappy people. I would caution anybody from asking a question or posting an opinion on here. The site was probably a good idea and more than likely turns a decent profit. Adam and the mods seem like good enough people, but the bottom feeding slugs that have invested this site ruin it for decent investors looking for news. JMO of course . DayTrader

  23. I was just reviewing an Advanced Placement Macroeconomics Document and this one question caught my attention: 7. The government of Eastlandia uses measures of monetary aggregates similar to those used by the United States, and the central bank of Eastlandia imposes a required reserve ratio of 10%. Given the following information, answer the questions below. Bank deposits at the central bank = $200 million Currency held by public = $150 million Currency in bank vaults = $100 million Checkable bank deposits = $500 million Traveler’s checks = $10 million a. What is M1? b. What is the monetary base? c. Are the commercial banks holding excess reserves? d. Can the commercial banks increase checkable bank deposits? If yes, by how much can checkable bank deposits increase? 7. a. M1 equals the sum of currency held by the public ($150 million), checkable deposits ($500 million), and traveler’s checks ($10 million) or $660. b. The monetary base is the sum of currency held by the public ($150 million) and the reserves of the commercial banks (currency in bank vaults ($100 million) and bank deposits ($200 million) at the central bank). The monetary base is $450 million. c. Required reserves are $50 million (10% of $500 million). Because total reserves are $300 million, the commercial banks are holding $250 million ($300 million − $50 million) in excess reserves. d. Since the commercial banks are holding excess reserves, they can increase deposits. With a required reserve ratio of 10%, reserves of $300 million can support a total of $3,000 million ($300/0.1) in deposits. Commercial banks can increase deposits by an additional $2,500 million. Look at the questions and answers for 7 a & b. It is interesting to note that the M1 does not include any deposits or reserves that are held by the Central Bank. Also, the currency in bank vaults is not considered M1 either! However, Central Bank deposits are part of the monetary base. This tells us a few things regarding the CBI financial reports: 1) Anything that the CBI is holding as far as deposits/reserves should not be considered to be part of the M1 money supply. 2) Commercial Banks "required reserves" and "vault cash" are also not considered part of the M1 money supply. The above tells us that the entire Monetary Base may be 61.5 trillion dinars (M1+M2) but we should look at the total amount that is actually held by the CBI, how much is in the commercial banks reserves, and how much is in the banks vaults. Dalite, thank you for the Financial Indicators (trimmed) document, but to be honest, I still can't understand it entirely. Could you (or somebody else) help me get the following figures from the report? 1) CBI Deposits - 2) CBI Reserves - 3) Commercial Bank Reserves - 4) Commercial Bank Vault Cash - This will tell us how much of the actual monetary base is technically in circulation at this time. Even if the entire Money Base is being considered as M1 at this time, it shouldn't because the above 4 are not considered M1. Hope I am not being redundant by creating this post. Just looking for more clarity. By the way, I believe Iraq follows a 25% commercial bank reserve, not 10% like the U.S. http://advanced-placement-macroe.stafford.forge.schoolfusion.us/modules/locker/files/get_group_file.phtml?fid=3663549&gid=511697

  24. There are so many tired broke and disgusted people, out of work with no jobs to be had, kids coming home from school with very little to eat, starting school with ruggedy cloths on free lunch programs coming from broken homes teens turning to drugs gangs and lawless behavior, banks and finance companies taking people homes because of non payment. I am not talking about the illegals thats a case in its on self. This is americans who are natural born citizens, our neighbors and friends who our elected leaders have abandoned. These are people and parents who 15 years ago had good jobs paying their taxes trying to do what right for the most part , their kids had allowances for doing chores to buy what their wanted and were respectful. These are people that once was a part of communites and neighborhoods that were friends associated together when out to eat together. These were the people that was considered a family unit and seen after their kids activites and supported their activites. These people, our people have been forgotten in favor of aid to foreign countries, infavor of corporate sending jobs out of country for money under the table. These are people that the Great Super Congress has forgotten and yet crime among teens has went up, more and more lawlessness. People are turning to drugs just to try to forget their situations if just for a moment. People our people who once made money having to have subsistance from the govt programs just to put food on the table. People living in old buses in their cars getting scraps of food out of dumpsters to survive. This sounds like a thrid world country don't it but sad to say it is right here in America...Greed and selfishness has turned america away from its true course and we have suffered. SAD yes it is, i never in a million years thought i would see the day America would treat its people the way Washington has. We are on a sinking titanic watching more and more of our own people loss everything they worked for thru no fault of their own. The American dream has become a American nitemare with no where to turn. Washington has become so bold that they are now labeling themselves as SuperCongress now i ask you after seeing the way they act does this sit well with you. It is better if Washington stayed on vacation at least they couldn't pass nothing to hurt us. Our friends and neighbors who have falling thru the cracks are not going to be helped until we, the mass of people decide to return to GOD and return to our Constitution and Declaration Of Independence. How many are hanging on and one paycheck away from being homeless. Its coming and you may be next. The mass of people has got to start thinking in a new way or this country will go down. Whats coming 5 or 10 years from now for us is what we allow to happen. Take the time to refresh yourself in what the Declaration says get a clear picture of what our roll is and what we can do by law, its worth it. JMO Heavyduty053

Iraq wont LOP they are just trying to reducce the money supply in the hands of the people not accounts, they have the reserves unlike Turkey did and thats why Turkey Lopped.

  32. Why does everyone seem to think Iraq is going to pay for the RV? When you go to your bank and exchange the dinar for US dollars guess who is giving you that money.........heres a hint.......its NOT iraq....... lol its the US......your getting US dollars right? Ok....the US is giving you the money....its not coming from Iraq unless you exchange IN iraq.....then the banks basically take the dinar we gave them and its either sent to our reserves to help prop up our own dollar, or it could be physically destroyed and added to reserves.....whatever kind of agreement they have for it which im sure none of us here would be able to figure out but none the less iraq is NOT paying out to everyone one of us when they RV.....I would suggest that some people not be so analytical because its going to drive you nuts and it WONT make 100% sense when you put too much thought into things. So basically we dont know how much they own but im sure they do own Dinar but again Iraq will not be paying out for all of us after an RV. The U.S. Government holds currency from every nation including Dinar from Iraq. http://www.sourcewat...ederal_Reserve) http://www.newyorkfe...oint/fed27.html

Several members did not approve of her extra curricular activities, But feared her enough to maintain their silence. She made a mistake, however, when she accused Frank, a new member, of being An alcoholic after she saw his old pickup parked in front of the town's Only bar one afternoon. She emphatically told Frank (and several others) that every one seeing it there WOULD KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING ! Frank, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just turned and walked away. He didn't explain, defend, or deny. He said nothing... Later that evening, Frank quietly parked his pickup in front of Mildred's house .... Walked home . . .and left it there all night. (You gotta love Frank!)

  35. I am convinced that this Iraqi Dinar issue has been too over advertised, over exposed and now every bit of exposure it gets, deepens someone's attitude to keep it from happening. Think about this, is our government or any government, PRO PEOPLE? Are the elite pro-people? Heck no, they are always screwing us in some way, depriving us, taking away our rights, our opportunities, our benefits. History has spoken, more laws than we know, more taxes than we can pay, less wages than we need, less safe guards in society than we've had, less freedom than we've had. They've shipped our jobs overseas at the expense of corporate greed, they've allowed illegal immigrants to infiltrate our society without adequately protecting our boarders, which in turn has caused Americans more financial burdens, less financial benefits and the lists go on. Please feel free to add to my commentary. So the bottom line is when a small percentage of us have a possibility to gain an advantage in life, they will find away to screw us. No, really, I am an optimist, but history speaks for itself! I almost guarantee you that if it's not the US fed.s or the US treasury, it will be Iraq itself who finds away to not allow an out of country RV, or RV news to get out of the country, to allow us to know when we need to exchange our Dinar. They will try to make a time limit on exchanging the Dinar, and try to include a minimum rate to have to exchange it at. I wish I could say I am optimistic about this as I am invested in this and want to get blessed as much as everyone else! But look at the misinformation campaign against it. Look at even the BS that comes out of the mouths of the so called guru's, how many lies can be told before we figure out that we have been had? I am sick of hearing every so called delay tied to some idiots imagination of what they think it is. They make stuff up, tie it to the news, blame it on politicians, blame it on procrastination, on people who can't get along, politicians who are greedy, conspiracy theories, the powerful, the elite, the Illuminati, my goodness people, take a vacation from the rhetoric and chill! Heavens to mergitroid!

  36. Tuesday came and Tuesday went All the Dinars still not spent Hopes and rumors of a jump Overnight just made a thump Gurus, Experts and the Faithful Thought and hoped this day was fateful Friends and colleagues on DV Watched computers and TV Waiting for the epic news Stayed up late then hit the "snooze" In the morning checked anew Finding all was still askew Others chortled "see, we said... Dinar RV is quite dead." Maliki and dear ol' Shabs Watch Iraq still up for grabs." All the while the USG Plays with money - value free Runs the debt into the earth To the peoples sorrow and mirth Rumors of their soon demise Seems the truth cannot disguise We The People will then hover Over tricks they tried to cover All the pieces on the table Are in movement, just not able To undo a tragic state So we all just sit and wait Pray we find the deep resolve With Iraq to near evolve Dinar is but symbol here For the overcome of fear Still I hold to my belief That Iraq will find relief With the prople of that land We'll rejoice all hand-in-hand So dear friends please keep your light Fired by faith, hope, love, and right! Best always! -gg

  39. The Dept of Defense briefed the President this morning. They told President Obama that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq . To everyone's surprise, he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken, almost in tears. Finally, he composed himself and asked, 'Just how many is a brazilian?' This is not surprising, since he obviously has no understanding of billion or trillion either.

  41. Fallen pilot's 10-year-old: Don't forget my dad (CNN) -- A week ago, 10-year-old Braydon Nichols started to think about his dad and how much he missed him. Army Chief Warrant Officer Bryan Nichols, a helicopter pilot, had been deployed for two months in Afghanistan. The little boy, in the car with his mother running errands, brushed back his dirty-blond hair and ran his hand over his cheek. Jessica Nichols looked over when she heard sniffles. Her son was crying. "When is Dad coming back so we go camping?" he asked her. Soon, she assured him. "Your dad is off fighting for this country." The boy replied, "As soon as he gets home, we're going to go on a camping trip, just me and him." Jessica Nichols cannot stop replaying that scene in her mind. That's because only a few days later, on Saturday night, she was cradling her boy who was crying once again. Except this time she could not tell him that his father was coming home. She had just received a call informing her that Bryan Nichols was one of the 30 Americans who died that afternoon when their Chinook helicopter was shot down in Wardak province in east-central Afghanistan. "It was just so devastating that a week ago or so Braydon had that worried look on his face, thinking about his dad," she said. "Braydon and Bryan were so connected. Braydon was like a little version of his dad." Bryan Nichols and Jessica Nichols met in sixth grade. Bryan was a born military buff. His father was a soldier and served in Vietnam. Bryan enlisted in the military before high school graduation. A few years later, he and Jessica married and had Braydon. Bryan worked his way up through the military ranks. "He always wanted to be in the Army," she said. "He came across the Chinook and was so fascinated. His father flew Chinooks." Bryan Nichols did three deployments during their marriage. It proved to be too much for their relationship, she said. They divorced when Braydon was 3, but remained close to raise Braydon. Bryan remarried, and his new wife and Jessica all got along. They all loved and cared for Braydon, she said. It was Bryan's wife, Mary, who contacted Jessica Saturday night to say that Bryan had died. "She was screaming," Jessica said. "She was screaming that Bryan was dead." Jessica couldn't believe what she was hearing. She hung up. Her heart was beating hard. Braydon was in his room, still awake and playing. Jessica walked toward the room, and stood by his door for a moment, overcome with grief. "I went to my room and tried to figure out what was going on," she said. Jessica pulled herself together as best she could and phoned her brother who lives nearby. He came to her house to support her. Together, they called Braydon downstairs. In his pajamas, Braydon stood in front of his mother and uncle. "I said, 'Braydon, do you know much your dad loves you? Do you know how proud of you he is?" Before she could say anything more, the boy wilted in her arms, sobbing. "I said, 'I'm sorry ... your ... dad died." The mother and son held each other and cried. An hour, maybe, went by. At one point Braydon got off the couch and ambled over to a Shih Tzu puppy, Lucy, that his mother bought him when his father got deployed. He held the dog for awhile. Then he fell asleep for a bit, and she went out to their porch. The night gave way to day. On Sunday morning, Jessica and Braydon Nichols watched the national news broadcast the first reports about the downing of a Chinook helicopter. They listened to reporters say that 38 U.S. and Afghan service personnel were killed, including 22 Navy SEALs. It was the single deadliest loss for American troops since the war in Afghanistan began in late 2001. "Braydon asked me why they weren't showing his dad's picture like they were showing some of the other guys," Jessica Nichols told CNN.com. "I told him it was because people had gone online and were posting photos." That gave the boy an idea. The two went to the family computer. She pulled up CNN.com. Braydon started saying, "iReport! iReport!" Like his father, Braydon is an information sponge. He's always on the hunt for facts, his loves the computer, and he likes watching the news, his mother said. Braydon knew that he could post something about his dad on CNN.com's iReport. So Jessica Nichols went to the iReport home page. Her son told her what to write. "My father was one of the 30 US Soldiers killed in Afghanistan yesterday with the Seals rescue mission," she typed. "My father was the pilot of the chinook. I have seen other pictures of victims from this deadly mission and wish you would include a picture of my father. He is the farthest to the left." See the iReport Braydon posted He told her to sign his name. Within hours, the iReport had become viral. Local news outlets across the country reported on it. More than 10,000 people on Facebook re-posted it. Twitter was abuzz about it. Many people left comments, expressing their sorrow for Braydon and telling him to be strong and that his father is a hero. CNN.com began trying to get in touch with the person who posted the iReport to verify it, first reaching the boy's aunt. Sue Keller of Palco, Kansas, told CNN late Monday night that the boy wanted the country to remember his father not just as a soldier but as a dad. On Monday night, Braydon's mother told him that a lot of people were talking about his iReport. "He didn't say anything," she said. "He's been reading it over and over. He doesn't understand the people can post comments so I'm telling him that people are trying to talk to him. He just looks at the comments and then he walks away. "He says, 'Mom, can we go watch a movie?'" Late Monday night, Jessica Nichols said she couldn't find her son for a moment. He had disappeared in the house. She was yelling for him. She found him in a closet, curled up on the floor, crying, going through a box of photo albums. The boy said he wanted to take one of the photos and put it in his wallet. He asked her, "'Can we go to be with Dad?'" She replied that they would go to his father's funeral and they would be there for anything and everything the boy wanted. "He said, 'Yeah, I'd like to go be with him when he comes home, and I said, 'OK, we will be.'" That awesome young man will be in my prayers tonight..... 45. Don't get defensive. First of all you are a Newbie with only 9 posts. Second Newbies create accounts on here all the time just to ruffle feathers or getting paid to pump another site. Third if you want to be believable give us a bank name and a phone number so we can confirm your info. You have 3 strikes against you from the start. You are going to get bashed. A call from Iraq???? That would be strike 4 if there was a 4th strike!!!
