Chuckst3r, I am grateful and honored by your tenacity to seek the truth!!! I think we need more cross examination of statements that can't be backed up with supporting material. With that said, there's two items that you should know: The audience wasn't privy to the pre-show bantering between Charlie, Brad, and myself. Nor were they present when Rudy called me two hours prior and asked me to come on this evening's show, whereby I was sarcastically harassing him for being on Fox news with Hannity and O'Reilly and didn't have time for us little people. It was all in joking fun but then Brad brought that up during the show, and we all thought Rudy had entered and was online to respond. I must admit that I was caught off guard when Brad was serious and thought this actually did occur, particularly when I was the one that brought it up to Rudy earlier in the day. As I said, I committed to find out and communicate back to you with the truth!!! And, I will! Secondly, CREDIBILITY is like TIME and there's a shortage of it in the DinarWorld! It's something I take very seriously and I'm glad you do as well because it's very important to the membership here at the VETS. I'm very particular about where I post my material or do interviews. I hope Scooter doesn't mind me posting this here. I can be accessed by anyone through DD, so... Good Evening Dinarians, This investment experience truly STINKS and I am personally ready for it to be over!!!! Every fabric of my being has been mentally and physically challenged and I’ve often found myself of late questioning my original decision to jump into the game. However, after every evaluation of the situation, I find myself highly resolve and more confident. The experience may have STUNK over the past couple of years but we are truly coming to the end of the journey. Over the next two weeks, we’ll witness final meetings with all stake holders worldwide and rumors will fly around at a fervent speed within our community. Here’s my recommendation: Stay the course, be strong, and make sure you have a solid post RV plan for yourself. As I’ve said in the past, nobody knows who, what, when , or where, but we do know the list of benchmarks and task are very quickly being removed from the list of “to-do’s”. With that said, there’s strong indicators that show this could occur anytime but other indicators show the end of month is more optimal. Iraq closes file on “corrupt” oil-for-food contracts 14/06/2011 13:21 Baghdad, June 14 (AKnews) – The Iraqi government announced on Tuesday that it has closed the oil-for-food contracts file after resolving legal disputes with international companies accused of corruption. Companies that sold commodities via the Oil-for-Food Program were allegedly overcharging by up to 10%, with part of the overcharged amount being diverted into private bank accounts for Saddam Hussein and other regime officials and the other part being kept by the supplier. In February, the government announced that it was pursuing more than 150 international companies within the framework of the oil-for-food program corruption file. Legal Counsel Fadel Mohammed Jawad told AKnews that Iraq is now free from possible legal restrictions resulting from the program. “Iraq will not face legal problems regarding the oil-for-food program after the development of legal resolutions for all prior contracts drawn up with international companies,” he said. The Oil-for-Food Program was established by the United Nations in 1995 to relieve the extended suffering of civilians as the result of the comprehensive sanctions on Iraq from the UN, following Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in August 1990. Under the UN initiative, Iraq was able to sell oil on the world market in exchange for food, medicine, and other humanitarian needs for ordinary Iraqi citizens without allowing Iraq to boost its military capabilities. Throughout its existence, the program was dogged by accusations that some of its profits were unlawfully diverted to the government of Iraq and to UN officials. These accusations were made in many countries, including the US and Norway. The UN Security Council voted unanimously in mid-January on three resolutions. The embargo imposed on Iraq on the import of nuclear materials for peaceful purposes was duly lifted; the oil-for-work program was terminated and the chapter VII immunity from compensation clause was extended until the end of June 2011. Email i received from my father: Reading a book about the Secret Service where they reveal an awful lot about the presidents and Vice Presidents...very interesting..recap thus far: JFK and LBJ = Philanderers of the highest order.both kept a lot of women in White House for affairs. Both set up "early warning" systems for if and when their wives were nearby. Total immoral men. In addition, LBJ was as crude as the day is long. Nixon = Weird, moral man but very odd and weird. Paranoid etc. horrible relationship with his family, almost a recluse. Agnew = nice, decent man, everyone was surprised at his downfall. Ford = A true gentlemen who treated them with respect and dignity Jimmy Carter = A complete phony who would portray one picture of himself to public and very different in private. I.E. Would be shown carrying his own luggage, suit cases were always empty, he kept empty ones just for photo ops. Wanted the people to see him as pious and a non drinker, he and family drank alcohol a lot. Had disdain for the Secret Service, and was very irresponsible with the "football" nuclear codes. Didn't think it was a big deal and would keep military aides at a great distance. Would never acknowledge military or Secret service they were there to serve him. Ronald Reagan = The real deal. Moral, Honest, respectful and dignified. Treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor. Would always thank everyone all the time. He took the time to know everyone on a personal level. One story was early on in Presidency the President came out of his room with a side arm attached to his hip. The Agent in charge said "Why the pistol Mr. President." Ronald Reagan replied, "In case you boys can't get the job done, I can help." It was common for him to carry a pistol. People do not know that when he met with Gorbachev, he had a pistol in his briefcase. Upon learning that Gary Hart was caught with Donna Rice during the election Ronald Reagan said, "Boys will be boys, but boys will not be President" Nancy Reagan = Very nice but very protective of the President..the Secret Service was always caught in the middle. Nancy would try to control what the President ate all the time (healthy) and he would say to the Agents "come on you gotta help me out." The Reagans rarely drank alcohol. Secret Service said they could count on one hand the times the Reagans were served alcohol other than wine during dinner. They made the comment for all the fake bluster of the Carters it was the Reagans who lived life as genuinely moral people. George and Barbara Bush = Extremely kind and considerate. Always respectful. Took great care in making sure the agents comforts were taken care of. They would bring them meals etc. One time Barbara Bush brought warm clothes to agents standing outside a kennebunkport . One agent who was given a warm hat tried to nicely say no thanks when he was obviously freezing and President Bush said "Son, don't argue with the first lady, put the hat on." Bill Clinton = Presidency was one giant party. Not trustworthy, he was nice because he wanted everyone to like him but life is just one big game and party to him Hillarious Clinton = Another phony. Personality would change the instant cameras were near. She hated with open disdain the military and Secret Service. Again another one who felt people are there to serve her. She was always trying to keep tabs on Bill Clinton .. Al Gore = An egotistical ass who was once overheard by his Secret Service detail when he told his son he needed to do better in school or he "would end up like these guys" and pointed to the agents. G W Bush = They loved him and Laura Bush. They said no one is a nicer person than Laura Bush who never has a harsh word to say about anyone. The Bush's went out of their way to take care of the Secret Service and made sure they were well cared for with meals and other comforts. GW was the most prompt of the Presidents. He ran like a well oiled machine. He was also the most in shape who had a very strict work out regimen. The Bush's made sure their entire administration understood to respect and be considerate of the Secret Service. Karl Rove was the one who was the most caring of the Secret Service in the administration Barack Obama - Clintons over again - hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. Dan: Hopefully a decent call. Will recap what’s happened over the weekend. A lot to go over. One thing – when we do these calls – we get information throughout the day. We judge what we bring to the table and deem as credible. We are bearing a lot of information from credible sources that tell us literally times. Everyone’s asked us to tell them. I don’t normally believe that stuff. What we will find out at the ends is what the real date was. Until that won’t know what it is. Had a call Friday Saturday Sunday… Monday is not over yet. We get information as to why happening or not. Want to address one thing. Something put up from a call - .86 - $12.5. Should be able to debate it with reason. When you get down to facts like this – you have to get involved in reasoning. Had to look at the foundation of why we are involved in this. The US Govt as well as the UK and the UN – went into Iraq to oust a dictator, named them a terrorist country, put in sanctions and dropped currency from $3 plus to 1/10th of a penny. There’s the strongest part of the foundation. Already up with Kuwait dinar. Currently over $3.59. Bush said the US would not pay for the war. This is the most oil rich countrys in the world. Eventually would restore their dollar to its value. Have to go to the greed factor when talking about govts and large business. The big boys benefit the most the higher it is. They have invested trillions of US$. Lost lives etc. to do this. Why would they go in with all the banks – major contractors, major countries to bring it to 1/3rd of the Kuwait dollar? Especially when it benefits them to be higher? Last year the G20 met and on the 2009 statement the IQD would be $3.22 to the USD as of 2009. Where were we in 2009? The IUSD was greater value than today. It goes to reason it would be as low as $3.22 – why would they go through all they did do come to less than that in 2011? Stands to reason just to stay equal would be $3.22 that would be an ri not an rv. Why would they come out at ,86? Why would they come out and gradually build this up. Some people can only value it coming out at .10 and go up slowly to $1 , $2 etc…. Last Weds banks lost billions of $$. They were highly upset. Banks all around the world. Everyone got positioned for that. They spend 4-5 days trying to re-coop and d go today and guess what happened again. I am still happening it could happen tonight. Hearing they are still expecting it tonight… their morning our night. The truth to it is some of you have no business even being on this site cause you can’t handle the ride. But the problem is, since the dinar has so little purchasing power, the large bills are needed for transactions. So since prices are high, if something is 15,000 Dinars And the bank is handing out 250 Dinar bills or whatever Then you have to carry around a huge stack of the lower bills To even be able to buy regular stuff So the clip goes on to say that the people are ashamed of the currency Because it is embarrassing to have to carry around all these little bills. And they have no purchasing power whatsoever. They go on to complain that the smaller denomination coins are also being handed out by banks. But since you would need a whole gallon size zip lock bag to even buy something small with the coins That no one uses them And that they toss them in the garbage or give them to the children to play with So the commentators suggest to Cbi that they should cancel the printing of all these lower denoms and coins And just keep issuing the big bills But another solution to this problem is what we've been waiting for... the Rv!!!! Because when they Rv, prices will be adjusted and the dinar will have greater purchasing power. And the large denoms will not be needed And the smaller denoms will buy much more than they do now. Kap, The article starts off by talking about the new plans to change the Dinar and they say that Saleh from CBI says that they will remove the 3 zeros as well as put new Kurdish language along with the English and Arabic on the bills. The article states that the goal of the change is to decrease the amount of Dinars in circulation and to increase the purchasing power of the Dinar. However, the article states that they expect the change to take a bit because there would need to be approvals for the change to occur, etc (The language used in the article is not clear about when they think this will occur, but it is simply their opinion. They make it appear that they think it will happen in the near term, but not immediately). The article goes on to say that they need to do this in order to reduce inflation and to reduce the monetary supply by 1/3. They also say that this is necessary because they expect inflation to go up drastically from investment and other business activities and development. They also say that this will be better for the people and for business transactions because it will reduce the amount of physical currency that has to be handled, counted, and processed. The remainder of the article re-states that the 3 zeros will be removed and that the Kurdish language will be added to it. They also say that it will be returned to the same value that it was in the 1980s (which is the 3+ rate range that we are aware of). They also say that they will build in more anti-counterfit and security measures into the new printed bills. This sounds very optimistic because they have finally stated in the press exactly what we suspected and exactly what we've been waiting to hear. This further supports our suspicions that the RV is soon to be here! Kap, I did take a look at the article and what the person who wrote the article did was take the excerpt from the previous statement in the articles this past week by Saleh and the CBI and paste it into the article, and then they just interviewed different people about their opinion of how they think the change in the currency will affect everyone in Iraq. So this article doesn't really have any solid evidence or expert advice. It is just asking people's opinions and views. The first two statements were made by shop/business owners and they said that they are in favor of the change and that, aside from any possible complications, it would help to restore confidence in the Dinar and bring more purchasing power. The other two statements were by citizens and they also shared the same view. The fifth statement was by another individual who is an economist and he says that removing the 3 zeros (which to me means releasing lower denomination bills) would help to reduce the physical money supply but would be pointless unless they change the rate as well (doing a full RV, which we know is what they have to do in order to RV (release new bills and change the rate)). The last statement says that they need to change the exchange rate, and even if they change it to 1 to 1 with Dinar equaling 1 US Dollar, then that would help the economy (This is his opinion and he is right, but he is not saying that CBI is going to put the rate at 1 to 1. This is just his example.). The end of the article talks about how complicated of a process this is and that CBI has been studying it thoroughly and will present the facts of the pros and cons to Parliament (it doesn't say if it was already presented or if they are going to). All in all, I really believe that people should have nothing to worry about. The more there is talk of the CBI articles, the more I feel like we are getting closer. It just doesn't seem normal that CBI and the media would be quite about the RV for so long and then start talking about it frequently all of a sudden unless there was a serious reason to discuss it (meaning that they know it will happen soon, so they are trying to get people to recognize that this is a serious possibility that it being considered and that they should be aware of it). And everyone is trying to analyze the 3 zeros statement to death and are afraid that means a LOP with no currency change. So for them to become chatty in the media and with Shabibi's appearance, etc all of a sudden is very surprising and it leads me to believe that this is all part of a well orchestrated plan and I am beginning to suspect that Shabibi may know exactly when the RV will happen. As for a LOP, I didn't see anything that would suggest that this is true. I know that there are people that are very worried about the interpretation of removing the 3 zeros, etc, but I think that is just their way of referring to the currency change. Because to me, it doesn't make sense to go from less than a cent to 85 cents per Dinar. I mean, that is not that strong of an improvement, and they might as well should have left it at what it is right now. So I wouldn't believe any of the LOP stuff because it isn't practical for them, and if the point is that the world is waiting for the RV to cash in and pay off their debts, etc and all the "powers to be" are greedy and want to make tons and tons of money, well 85 cents really makes it difficult for them to do that. So I am not too concerned about it at all, and even if (goodness forbid) that happens, well it is still 85 cents X how many every dinar we hold and that is more money that we had to begin with and I would be okay. Not as okay as I would have been at $3+, which is what I truly believe it will come out, but still. I am ready for this to be done and over with! LOL!. Then there was more confusion on the forums about pulling the big bills off the market and people were mis-interpreting it by saying that this is not true and that they have all these trillions of dinars and that there is no cash shortage or pressure on the cash supply inside Iraq. Those chats were very misleading because no one said that there was no cash inside of Iraq. What was said that all of the BIG BILLS were pulled out of circulation inside Iraq and that any remaining Dinars in circulation inside Iraq are in the lower denoms, such as 1,000, 500, or 250 Dinars. So this makes it very difficult to do everyday business transactions and everyday purchases with huge amounts of small bills for even the smallest purchases. When you go cash your pay check, you will get it in those small bills in Iraq, not the big bills. And so it is true that there is still alot of money in Dinar form in the market (as indicated by CBI Auctions and statistics, etc) but it is all in lower form inside of Iraq. I think what is also confusing people is that when we order Dinars here in the states, we still get the big bills. And so people are saying, well if we can get the big bills, then it must be a lie that they were pulled out of circulation. Well, CBI has purposely left those big bills outside of the country to facilitate international transactions and demand for Dinars because it is easier than have the world deal with thousands upon thousands of lower bills. Plus, these big bills were already out of the country long before Iraq started pulling them in, and so they know that when an RV happens, they have most of the big bills, and the rest will eventually be returned to them to be destroyed. So my point with all this is that there is so much misinformation going on and all the rumors and news and even Intel are conflicting with each other and at this point, I don't even believe the news articles much less the rumors. The news articles have been wrong and misleading since December with respect to the 3 remaining ministers. Almost every week since the GOI was formed in December, they have had article after article talking about oh, the ministers will be selected soon or this week or next week or on Sunday they will vote on them or there was a meeting to resolve them or there is a deadline to get them done, and for 6 months since December, they have been wrong every week and nothing has been done or announced with the 3 remaining ministers. Up until this past week, they had said we were supposed to have them done and voted on in Parliament, but now they changed it to this coming week. It is getting very hard for me to believe that they cannot agree about the ministers because if they are in that much disagreement and it has taken 6 months to try to pick ministers, then there is no way that they were able to agree on the 39 or so other ministers that were selected in December. And I think that 6 months is plenty enough time to work out any disputes about those positions, so it seems very strange to me and I am just not buying the minister story anymore. Some say that they were already put in place long ago. Well, I would be more willing to believe that they already picked them and know who they want, but that they are waiting for some particular time or event to announce them and put them into the positions. What are they waiting for, I have no idea. All I am doing is continuing to watch the Forex and CBI, and that is the only truth that I know at this point. If it isn't on the Forex or CBI, then it hasn't happened yet, LOL. What is the hold up? I don't know and I am beginning to think that this was planned all along and maybe they are waiting for the beginning of May with thetransfer or funds or the end of June. The end of June is the end of the 2nd quarter and it would be a nice way to do it where they finish off half the year with the old money and the 2nd half of the year with the new money and new rate. I grew up in a small town and unfortunately I don't now. Those of you that didn't, have no idea what you have missed. There is something to be said for knowing everyone in town. Being able to walk or drive down a street and wave or say hello to every person you see and be able to follow the hello with the persons first name. To be able to go to bed at night and leave your doors unlocked. I never removed the keys from any of my vehicles. The point I am trying to make here is that I wouldn't be so quick to discount this information. There is a way to say that you don't believe a certain post without coming across like a jerk. My grandfather taught me early on that is better to remain silent and thought a fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt. I have lost count on the number of posts I have read that the poster owes the person they are commenting to an apology. We are all searching for the same thing here. We all want the same outcome. The difference between you and those who you believe are "detached from reality" is that we can find hope in spite of the " wars, violence, starvation,poverty, suffering, injustice,oppression,natural disasters, etc, etc,etc." Aside from natural disasters, there is absolutely no "bad thing" that we aren't all responsible for. On the other hand, a large majority of those "bad things" would cease to exist if we all could love one another. I don't lump all Aethists and Agnostics into one big group of haters, so I think you need to realize that even within Christianity, there are going to be people who do not represent us very well. There are many who do not understand their own faith (and in some cases may not actually have faith at all) and they come off as the Pharisees who new the laws but didn't no how to love. God blesses all of us by a measure that He decides and by whatever means, be it a child, a soul mate, a job, money, an ability, or whatever it takes to fulfill His purpose in our lives. He doesn't pay us to love Him, He blesses us for trusting Him. His gift is available to everyone and accepted by only a few. The relationship is between Him and you. Everyone else (Christians) is just a support group for that relationship, but does not require membership to be blessed by Him. You will recognize us by our fruits. If you see us as bad people, then either we are doing something wrong or you are looking at the wrong people. When you ar enticed to ask about why we have hope and want the same thing for your life, then we are doing it right. Then we are doing His work.
