Hello, Acknowledging that this is my first post, and understanding that with all crap flying around, I have not established any credibility with this audience, allow me to offer a few perspectives. First, I am currently working in Iraq as a contractor (aviation related). I have been here in Northern Iraq for the last ~3 months, and this is my second rotation to the country, and this location, in the last 18 months. For security purposes, I'll leave it at that. If that's not good enough, read/believe at your own peril. I won't discuss my wages other than to say the pay is good enough to encourage this 19 yr military vet (active/reserve) to leave his family for months on end. My time is away is arguably less than others in similar situations, and I recognize and appreciate the sacrafice of all the people here, military or civilian/contractor. Second, I am relatively new to the Dinar game. I was introduced to the opportunity in Feb of this year by a coworker here, so I am hardly a 'Vet.' I do own Dinar and have purchased them as recently as yesterday. I will be returning stateside when my tour ends next month, and can only hope I have an additional buying opportunity after the first of the month (more on that in a minute), before ReVal. I am not in a position to broker or otherwise purchase for others, so if you were inclined to ask, don't bother. That having been said, I am a fan, and hoping for the best financial outcome while still acknowledging the possibility that my investment may offer, at best, a very nominal return How a contractor in Iraq can purchase Dinar (INFO): Army finance will allow individuals (military and civilian) on the base to purchase US$1000 worth of Dinar each month. The purchase is tied to your SSN in an Army computer, and they track/limit the purchases that way. They provide a receipt showing pertinent info about the purchase, as well as a separate sheet of paper that lists the denomination and quantity 'purchased.' This is a great aspect of the transaction as it lends validity to your acquisition of the Dinar, so that post ReVal the legitimacy of the Dinar you own is less likely to be questioned. Finance will allow you to purchase Dinar using US$ cash or using an Eagle Cash card (essentially a reloadable debit card tied to your checking account). The exchange rate of these transactions is IQD1170 to the US$, and it has been that rate for many months (note sure how far back that rate goes, but it goes farther back than I've been in country this rotation). On the removal of higher denomination bills from circulation (INFO): On a regular basis (daily/weekly), I have an opportunity to interact with Iraqi merchants who have been allowed to up shops on base for the benefit of soldiers/personnel here. These merchants live off base and are otherwise involved in their communities as you or I would be during our non-work hours. After hearing an individual (Breitling, on a recorded conference call posted on a different site) recently assert that the higher denomination notes (5k, 10, 25k) are no longer in circulation in country (i.e. removed intentionally), I spoke directly with one of these merchants to determine if that statement was true. The answer was flatly, 'No' When the real purchasing power of a 25k note is $20-$25, the number of smaller bills (500 and less) required to reach enough for a transaction of ANY significance is enough to make the prospect of carrying ONLY those smaller bills unreasonable. This merchant's explanation of such and statement that the higher denomination notes are very much in play in Iraq. (He promptly asked me if I wanted him to get some for me, for a small profit of course) I don't have the ability to leave the base and verify the existence of the bigger bills myself, but I have no reason to believe he would have anything to gain by being dishonest. He has been another source for me to purchase Dinar in smaller quantities, and I have received large denomination notes from him. In addition to the merchants, I am in daily contact with Iraqis through my work, and some of them have additional On the prospect of Revaluation: First, Army finance has no information (as of yesterday) that they are willing to share about any revaluation. I don't necessarily think they'd be the first to know, but the fact that I could walk in and still purchase Dinar yesterday makes me think the recent brouhaha about 5/3rd bank and their decision to stop selling Dinar may really be just as simple as their official explanation of not being able to keep up with the demand for what was originally just a simple service for their traveling customers. Sometimes the simplest answer is the real answer. When Army finance either changes their exchange rate or refuses to exchange Dinar for dollars, I'll put more credence in similar bank decisions. In addition to the merchants above, I am in daily contact with Iraqis of a different walk through my work. One in particular is a particularly astute businessman. I asked his opinion of the ReVal (when I was looking at acquiring more smaller bills). He was under the impression that the removal of three zeros from the existing currency (LOP) was the ReVal to expect. I can't say with any certainty how sure he was of this info. At the risk of generalizing, many Iraqis I've me will generally tell you what they think you want to hear just as readily as they'll tell you the truth. I don't necessarily place this man in that category, but I take everything I hear with a grain of salt. Getting Dinar out of Iraq: The post office (contractor run for the USPS), flatly refuses to ship currency, and if they know you are attempting ship Dinar, they will tell you no with no reservation. Special services like Registered Mail are not available. FedEx, operated by a local affiliate, also refuses to ship currency. To my knowledge, the only way to take the Dinar home with me is to physically carry it with me when I leave. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who as traveled with more than just a token amount of Iraqi currency and how they handled it with airport security and general security as they traveled home. If you have a different solution that is both legal and feasible, I would be very interested in that as well. If you've got any questions, shoot. i will tell you how i got my dinar home i was deployed to iraq from feb 09 to feb 10 i bought my dinar from the finance office and the rate was 1170 so it has not changed. when we re-deployed and went through all the customs there were signs everywhere saying that you can not travel with money over 10,000 usd my dinar was not equal to 10,000 usd so the customs people looked at it and it went right back into my back pack. i took it on the plane and it was always with me no issues what so ever! i would also like to put my input in on the dinar I would love to see the dinar RV and i believe it will one day but if it does not i look at it like this, i never bought more than i could afford, it never put me into finacial hardship, and if it never happens atleast when my daughter gets old enough she will have something to take to school with her for show and tell something her daddy brought home for her when he was in iraq. the point is i already spent the money i would have blew that in vegas anyways so if it happens it happens if it dont it dont i dont stress about it

Good to see more Americans waking up...Federal Reserve isn't Federal or any part of the USA, once people realize that then they can see who is ripping off trillions of your tax dollars. It doesn't stop there, it keeps going into more rabbit holes until you finally see that most of what you have been taught in school about history is false, as well as the Main Stream Media which is owned and controlled by the same people who run the Fed...there is only a few countries left which have NO "Central Banks" and one is Libya...hmm. Once that is complete, they simply “turn on the wells” and production will increase. [Kaperoni] Recent articles imply that Iraq will increase output from the current 2.7 mbpd, to ver 5 mbpd in 2012. You can see how the revaluation of the dinar simply cannot wait. [Kaperoni] Now what does that mean? I think we will see a RV in the range of just over 1 to $1. Possibly as high as 2.25 to $1 Then, in several months, another “step” to bring [Kaperoni] the dinar up to 3 to $1. This seems to correlate with the above statements. I do not see a straight rv for the dinar at 3+ initially. Though we will only know once it truly happens. [Kaperoni] With the abundance of articles in recent days “informing” the people of Iraq, Shabibi’s own comments, and the abundance of projects just waiting to be implemented, one can say, we are at the cusp of Iraq’s economic boom. [Kaperoni] Now, for a tidbit of rumor… [Kaperoni] I have been informed that there is a “high level” CBI meeting in Iraq at 7:30 am Iraqi time. What is the context of that meeting, I do not know. [Kaperoni] I think we all can be excited that this ride will end shortly, that is clear as stated by the CBI and is evident. [Kaperoni] Have a great Easter Holiday.

Happy Easter! No matter what you believe, believe in love and happiness! As we all wait for the RV find positivity in the small things and live each day as if it were your last. It is hard to focus on the important things in life when we become so distracted with what might be. It's hard to ride this roller coaster of ups and downs but never take for granted what you already have. I've struggled with these things myself but I have come to appreciate what I have much more than I did before I became invested in the dinar. First, the Iraqi language is backwards and I think they take joy in its confusion. Raising the 3 zeroes has to do with the 3 zero currency in Iraq alone. To that end, they have been taken in by Iraq and virtually are gone. Yes, there are some 25K notes stuck away somewhere. but for all intents and purposes the 3 zero notes are gone, or soon will be. This is probably why there has been such a delay in the RV, etc. Regarding all the talk of Iraq not having the funds to cover all their notes, they only need 15%, same as in the US. We only have about 10% in cash to cover actual currency in circulation. Everything else is electronic. Okay, now we have our 25K notes and this has nothing to do with Iraq, but has to do with the US treasury. Our 25,000 will be 25,000. Now, when there is talk of deleting the 3 zeroes, they are not talking about our notes, but, instead are talking about the rate. Thus, the $0.00086 becomes $0.86. Now, this doesn't mean that the rate for us is $0.86. A zero could be added and the numbers could change. But, the US treasury wants these notes because they will use it to buy the Iraq oil at $32 or so, and, this may be another hold up of the RV. The US treasury knows that Iraq wants to get back to over $3.00, but they need to get back the notes we hold. I think we would be happy with $0.86. The actual prediction is between a dollar and the Euro. So, are you going to continue to wait, stay on the dinar sites, you can do that to get that extra cash years from now. Is it worth it? And, ,ost of us will probably opt out to "Get out of Dodge". So, when George W. and Condi said the Iraq war would not cost the US anything, they were right. Also, by statements made by Trump, he is probably not invested, or is playing it coy. So, yes, this could come out real low at about $0.10, but the treasury is trying to suck out these notes. I don't think that will do it. So, my fellow dinarians, our trip is coming to a successful end - the end we were told about before we invested, and there positively will not be a LOP. Happy Easter, or Happy Anthing else that will make you happy. So, when we reap these benefits, do not fail to remember that we lost a lot of our troops. Shabibi’s meeting with the Iraqi bankers this morning gave us a true indication of the immensity of this undertaking. He told them they are working on a few things that could be handled very quickly and that they should be to go ready at a moments notice. He told them that the US and others are taking care of other key issues and that when completed the RV will happen within a matter of hours. He thanked them all for there hard work and dedication and got emotional when talking of Iraq climbing to new heights as a world power. They discussed the rates of exchange and I can assure you we will all be happy. This should be a big week for Iraq and all of us as they finalize the steps needed to RV. I was on a call today with two young men from Iraq who are friends with my son. They invited dinar callers on the conference and someone asked the question that absolutely drives me nuts. Here it is: "How can Iraq continue to use a worthless currency?" I'm going to answer this on behalf of everyone so we never have to deal with this useless question again. Iraq's dinars are not worthless. That are actually valued higher than the South Korean Won. And the last time I checked, the South Korean economy was "kicking butt". So why is their worthless currency producing such a fantastic economy? It's because the currency rate has absolutely nothing to do with the economy of a country! So can we please stop referring to the Iraqi Dinar as a worthless currency. It is simply priced at a rate based on its current ecconomy and amount of currency in circulation, among other factors. To call it worthless is simply stupidity. It's like calling the Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and Korean Won worthless. It simply is not true! So the next time you hear someone ask: "How can Iraq continue to use a worthless currency?" Ignore it as just an uneducated question.

Great post,, I am in Iraq too, I started this venture back in 2005 and have been to many bases.. Back in 2005 it was illegal to mail than, but I was able to sneek it out in the mail. One way is when you go to the post office have your box already taped on the bottom and on the bottom flap between the flapps tape your dinar, or you can also stick it in a lot of paperwork, I worked at the post office over here for 6 months and went back to the Firedept. When I worked at the postoffice we were not able to mail any dinar out and the rule still applies. However you can mail it out in cards if you want to mail a few bills at a time just make sure that envelope doesn't weigh too much and that there isn't somekind of bulge sticking out. ( Just make sure it's the free mail or throw a stamp on it and drop it off in the drop box ) ( ( don't forget all free mail needs a return address on it..with the correct APO )). But you can always take your dinar out with you thru the airport. Just remember to keep it in your wallet and your check book. I know of some people who have taken it out a million at a time. Just try to keep it on your person like in the wallet, if they catch you all they will do is take it from you. Maybe.... I know of somebody who snuck it thru in his carry on luggage, he had a lot of paperwork in there and they never checked it. Good Luck. About getting the larger denominations, the last time I purchased which was a month ago I got 25k, 10k, 5k, 1k, 100, and 50's so yes you can still get the big bills I know of guys who got some big ones a week or two ago... While being new to this site please let me leave you with something, Don't believe anybody here when they say they know the date or the rate,,, NOBODY KNOWS... So don't be suckered in to buying because of what you read on this forum or any forum.. We will know what the date and the rate is when it RV's and no time sooner.. I believe, that if we don't flush the giant toilet called Washington DC and flush it quick, we will very soon be past the point of a peaceful solution to our problem. We need to remove all the lifer politicians that wont do anything unless it benefits them personally. We need term limits on all elected offices. We need to install a flat tax that makes all adult Americans responsible for supporting this great country. Stop printing money we dont have. Make our country business friendly and stop importing all our goods and start making everything here again. Stop importing everything from the Chinese and pay off that debt. Secure our borders and remove all illegal aliens. Make welfare a one time, short term benefit, not a career than spans generations. Make teachers responsible for their teaching ability, and make them accountable for the grades of their students rather than giving them tenure and a free pass to do a lousy job and still keep it. So much more, but if we dont change soon, it will be too late, and the country that we know and love will cease to exist.

Maybe, it's those that can't handle negativity, keep their mouth shut, unless you can stop all the lying that goes on here. I'm as positive as the next guy, but I don't live in fantasy land. It seems most of the negativity is against someone that comes with complete B.S. that gets called on it, to discourage more of the same. Opinions are one thing, complete B.S. is another. But for the sake of argument lets assume they do. I am wondering if you have factored in non-liquid assets to your line of thought. When exactly do the non-liquid assets get monetized into liquidity and become part of the basis of the real equitable exchange rate? They have 150 billion barrels of proven reserves in oil which at $100 (yes I know it is selling for more but lets use this figure for simplicity) a barrel translates into 15 trillion IQD. There is an additional estimated 350 billion barrels which will translate into 35 trillion IQD. That would be 50 trillion IQD that will be added to the assets of Iraq. Then there is the CBI holdings of monetary gold, SDRs, Iraq’s reserve position in the IMF, foreign currency cash, and deposits abroad, except for the resources of the DFI but including the CBI DFI sub-account, natural gas, non mint precious metals, futures, etc. etc. etc. It is my opinion that Iraq is able to support the prewar value of exchange rate as they have stated they wanted to do. That rate is $3.22 Now it is very possible that they will come out low to shake out those investors that are ready to cash out. This will give Iraq added opportunity to purchase their IQD low and then resell as the rate increases for a profit. (They stand to make a mint doing this alone) If they are on a free float system as described then there will be plenty of investors looking to buy in considering the wealth of Iraq. Just a little food for thought for all those that think that they are gonna come out at .01 to .05 Taking these additional assets into consideration. It is feasible for them to come out comfortably at 1 : 1 ratio. I would think it would start there and climb relatively quickly to the prewar rate. How do the guru's get the first hand dialogue of Shabibi??? M told S S told the IMF.........so on and so forth. If Shabibbi is having conversations about a rv, your talking about approximately 5 people worldwide who would know. And those people would never, ever, ever, leak anything. If you will remember in January I believe, I told you about intel from a source involved in this process and was told that there are 5 steps a country must do to RV and at that time Iraq was on the third step. I was told from the horse’s mouth at that time it would be at least 3 weeks. However due to political infighting in Iraq and maybe some other places it has taken somewhat longer. I was told a drop dead date to get everything done and RV was May 1st but I haven’t said anything as not to disappoint anyone as we all try to be hopeful it will happen sooner. I was later told that things were accelerated due to the unrest in the ME. Last week I was told that Shabibi had completed EVERYTHING and that there would be tons of disinformation and smoke but disregard it as all is done. I was also told to not be concerned if the rate came out low as it would go up quickly. There are alot of moving parts to get this done but it is done. I’m hopeful this will be a monumental week.

I am new to this world in comparison to all of you "vets". I bought in to the RV about 2 months ago through info I was given by a relative. No personal knowledge, just regurgitation of info he read on sites/heard on pal talk. After starting at DinarDaddys to find up coming "intel", I eventually found this site, which after 2 months of imminent RV dates never coming to pass on DD, I found to be a breath of fresh air because there is a level of healthy skepticism here. My question is: To all the healthy skeptics. You all comment here on everything that people like Okie and his kind say and denounce them as pumpers and BS artists. Honestly, I tend to believe you after imminent RV after imminent RV that never come to pass. But why is it that you veterans of disappointment still remain on these sites? Do you believe that aside from all the BS "pumping" that this RV is actually a viable reality? As I said I am a newbie and I want desperately for this to be a reality. But with every failed forecast I become more bitter and fearful that I have fallen victim to a scam perpetrated by currency traders hoping to make a couple hundred here and there on every half wit sucker. Remember, we have gone so far passed the point of no return, government itself is now throwing it wherever they want to. They are funding wars, and we are getting ready to enter another round of mid east conflict. This was planned out as early as 2002. Also, wallstreet and their minion banks are laughing because they have had over 2 years of 'free' or near free money and once again have hosed the system. The only reason these folks are not in prison is because they are in collusion with each other. The Repubs and Dems are simply willing accomplices to the REAL culprits - the banks that make up the Federal Reserve. The only way we will end this madness is to dissolve the Fed, and go back to a REAL USD, NOT a Federal Reserve Note.

This segment sounds to me as if there will be BOTH RD & RV. A few things on the RD question: "We needed the zeroes back then (when they were added), but times are different now (?we don't need them now)", and "we have a plan for that (the RD, but can't say what or when)". Something else is clear: Both of these issues are exceedingly complex for Iraq, and Shabibi cannot just snap his fingers at a whim and an RD and/or RV will happen. I would agree that we are in the end-stages of whatever is going to happen.

The demise of the United States of America always was the plan of those who control all the money in the world. Nothing happens by accident. This is why they passed the law to allow the federal reserve in near secrecy. The United States had to be destroyed to easily assimilate into "one world order". Well his first few posts sounded believable and I even said that I thought he might be on the level. I am beginning to think just another pumper, as yesterday he had a post stating that Shabibi had just gotten out of a meeting in Switzerland, which I think was total B.S. I searched all my news sources and could find no evidence that said meeting occured. So now Longfellow has very little credability with me. Just once I wish there was someone you could believe.
