  1. I'm ready to catch the firestorm, so here goes.... (NO LINKS!) It's why I posted in RUMORS! Just got a call from a friend that is a computer guru, he does a lot of work for banks and insurance firms around the country. He asked did I know anything about the dinar? He was not one I have told about my investment. He stated it was Iraq currency, I told him I had heard a little bit about it, and it sounded like a crazy investment to me, the guy is kinda an ass, and didn't know if he was baiting me. He went on to ask me did I know anything about the process of pinging. ( I know a little bit, but didn't let him know.) He went on to tell me it is a test process on the computer system that happens when a currency is about to change in its value. I replied yes? And? He said well... they have been pinging the dinar at a revaluation of between $3.88 and $4.32. I said it's just probably a systems test. He said it usually means more than a test. He then for a friend of ours # who does investments. I gave it to him, and he stated I ought to really consider looking into it. Hmmmmm..... Just an odd call maybe, just tests maybe... interesting none the less

  4. I'm actually suprised he called to even tell me about the ping testing. We didn't go any further in depth and doubt he knows anything more other than making sure the computers do what they are supposed to do when the time comes. I also don't understand why the variation between the ping markers. I don't think he will know any sooner than we will other than something is close. You can be rest assured that if he calls with any more info, I will post, no matter what criticism I get. I figure we're all on the same ship, so might as well pass on what time dinner is going to be served, or if a hole is in the boat. We sink or swim as we ride this together.

  5. OK LET'S BREAK THIS DOWN IN DEFINITION Saleh said in a press statement that the central bank is considering the idea of restructuring the currency in terms of specifications and therefore we're going to be new categories of currency have the capacity to reduce the large amounts of money, pointing out that continued to deal in the use of $100 is the biggest proof of the urgent need of a coin of that magnitude. http://dinarvets.com..._0entry308892 1)THIS TELLS ME THEY WANT 100 AS THERE BIGGEST DENOM. 2)THE 100 COIN IS THE ONLY DENOM THEY HAVE AT THIS TIME! Ali Akbar Salehi and that the process of lifting الاصفار needs time to وموافقات an official of the government and the parliament, adding that the current non-موهيا to remove six zeros from the currency. 1) IRAQ USES A DIFFERENT DECIMAL SYSTEM AT THIS TIME. FOR EXAMPLE 1000.00 TO US IS 1000.000 TO THEM, SO IF THEY REMOVE SIX DECIMALS IT IS 1 DINAR TO IRAQ (RIGHT)MAKES SENCE NOW! Palm-The Iraqi central bank adviser said the appearance of Muhammad Saleh that the Iraqi needed to be expanded, and we will work to make the currency of the 100 Thousand dinars. 1) TRANSLATION OF THIS QUOTE IS THE PROBLEM HERE YOU JUST SAW WHAT THEY REALLY MENT. IRAQ PRE KUWAIT WAR WAS AT 3.22 , BUT TO OUR GOV THE VALUE WAS ONLY 2.22. THE UNSC SAID THEY WERE TO GO BACK TO PRE WAR VALUE. 1) PRE WAR VALUE 2.22 + 20% INFLATION WILL BRING THEM RIGHT AROUND 2.66 AND STILL UNDER KUWAIT 2) I BELIEVE THEY WILL COME OUT SOMEWHERE AROUND 1.17 -- 2.66 MANY ARTICLES STATED RV WILL TAKE PLACE DIRECTLY AFTER GOV IS FORMED , AND BEFORE DEC, 31ST. 1) I DO BELIEVE THIS WILL HAPPEN , TO WHAT LEVEL WHO REALLY KNOWS, ONLY TIME WILL TELL MARY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL GOD BLESS VIZIOIRAQI

The expected announcement of Iraq's new government marks the culmination of a remarkable process. The former bully-boy of the Arab neighborhood has become its only functional democracy. What may be the world's richest resource economy, once the closed shop of a murderous clique, is today wide open for business. Driven by what many geologists consider the world's largest oil reserves, Iraq will probably be the world's biggest crude oil producer within a decade. The country currently ranks second to Saudi Arabia in official reserves, with 143 billion barrels. With much of Iraq's exploration still to come after a three-decade hiatus, and with Saudi Arabia's reserves substantially inflated and already in decline, Iraq could take the mantle as No. 1 in fairly short order. Iraq last year signed 12 oil contracts that promise to take output from under two million barrels per day currently—less than Algeria—to over 12 million by 2016. This timeline is probably optimistic, but the contracts will likely see Iraq surpass Saudi Arabia's 10 million to 11 million barrels per day within a decade. And these figures include no contributions from Iraqi Kurdistan, from natural gas reserves, or from new oil fields, with which the lightly-explored country is replete. The Saudi comparison suggests that as Iraq's oil production rises, its economy could grow approximately six-fold over the coming decade—gross domestic product is currently $66 billion—and add a mind-boggling $300 billion in annual GDP. This means one of the largest economic reconstruction and development booms in history. View Full Image David Gothard .The entire Iraqi economy is being rebuilt. The government's electricity program has a $50 billion price tag. Baghdad has awarded the reconstruction of Sadr City to six Turkish companies at a cost of $11 billion. Nationwide, thousands of police stations, schools and clinics will be built. Airports, bridges, dams, railways and roads are being planned. The $20 billion Al Faw port project will create the leading port in the Persian Gulf. A modern army, air force and navy will be trained and armed. The investment programs of last year's 12 oil deals alone add up to well more than $200 billion. The holy cities of Najaf and Karbala currently receive more annual visitors than Mecca but have almost no hotel space or modern residential facilities. Iraq's real-estate sector generally is warming up, with Abu Dhabi companies alone committing over $65 billion in the last year. New refineries, cement plants and steel mills are being financed across the country. Iraq's greatest resource is its famously resourceful, tough, educated and enterprising people. Whereas the capitals of the Gulf oil monarchies did not have paved streets a generation or two ago, Baghdad and Basra are ancient capitals of commerce, ideas and global finance. Oil, people and history are not Iraq's only advantages. One of the important food-exporting countries of world history, watered by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, Iraq possesses abundant agricultural potential. Located at the head of the Persian Gulf, Iraq is poised to regain its ancient role as a trade link between East and West. A modern rail system linking the Gulf to Europe via Turkey will provide Asian exports a faster, safer and cheaper alternative to the Suez Canal and the Horn of Africa. Perhaps most important of all, Iraq's is a free economy. There is no ruling family, party or tribe in Iraq, and there is no culture of religious imposition. There is strong evidence that Iraq can avoid much of the "oil curse" and build a more cosmopolitan and modern economy than those of its autocratic neighbors. In the last election, senior Iraqi leaders campaigned on, among other things, establishing individual oil accounts for Iraq citizens to receive their share of the nation's wealth directly. Unique among the region's resource economies, this would put the state at the mercy of the people, not the other way around. The quality of Iraq's economic management is visible in the soundness of its macroeconomic picture. Inflation is under control at 5% per year, the government budget will likely be balanced with increased exports in 2011, and the Iraqi dinar (soon to appreciate as exports take off) has held steady against the U.S. dollar since early 2009. GDP growth, forecast by the International Monetary Fund to be 11.5% for 2011, is already among the highest in the world, with the investment boom barely in its infancy and the export surge yet to begin. Corruption, of course, is a problem. But Iraq's oil industry, which accounts for 80% of the economy, is one of the world's most transparent. Last year's auctions were subject to competitive bidding, the contract terms were announced publicly, and the bids were opened live on national television. To followers of extractive industries, it was previously unimaginable that this could happen outside of a few highly developed countries like Norway or Australia. This year Iraq was accepted on the membership track for the international Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative. It is the only Middle Eastern oil country even to apply. Violence in Iraq is now mostly a criminal matter. Over the past two years, the country has suffered fewer than 40% of the deaths by violence that Mexico has. Iraqi fatalities are now well below the levels seen during the quiet months immediately following the U.S invasion in 2003. A visit to Baghdad or Basra today isn't intimidating for businessmen accustomed to Lagos or Rio de Janeiro. Bureaucracy is Iraq's biggest problem. Incorporating local entities is expensive and time-consuming. Obtaining a visitor's visa is absurdly difficult for a country requiring so much foreign investment. And numerous ministries and government agencies frequently claim authority over simple business matters. But the big picture for foreign companies is positive, as Iraq has a substantially more modern and liberal regulatory framework than almost any nearby country. Foreigners can own 100% of Iraqi companies, must pay only the 15% flat tax that the rest of the economy pays on profits, and may take 100% of those profits home when and how they please. Nine months has been a long time to wait for a new government, but the process has happened peacefully and constitutionally. That's far more encouraging than all the country's oil reserves together. Mr. Bull, a former journalist, is a founder of Northern Gulf Partners, an Iraq-focused investment bank.

  12. I just received an email that contained the following chat conversation between two of our members: mailboxmoney - could you please provide some more details regarding Article 40 along with how the government has now been directed to RV? What exactly did they say other than calling for Shabibi to take action? Thank goodness you were able to watch the English translation of this. I guess we now have to determine what exactly "immediate" means to the Iraqi government - is that tomorrow, this week, prior to January 1st, or what? Thanks for bringing this to our attention - a great find on your part!

  13. Currency Auctions Announcement No. (1798) The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 21-DEC-2010. The results were as follows: DetailsNotesNumber of banks23 Auction price selling dinar / US$1170 Auction price buying dinar / US$----- Amount sold at auction price (US$)189,861,000 Amount purchased at Auction price (US$)----- Total offers for buying (US$)189,861,000 Total offers for selling (US$)----- Exchange rates Dollar's exchange rates / in Baghdad markets Spot Oil~$90.25 big up Spot Gold $1384.60 ... gold had a weird spike at the NY open but is presently at this level Zeroes ... your call but I'm calling it 49 as the cash portion of the auction represented only .68% of the total volume of the auction with 23 banks participating (man, I lost count of the number of banks). Well, oil is up into the $90 range that Frank26 says that we have to have ... personally, I've been fine with it hovering in the high $88 to $89 range ... I just figured it was close enough. Gold is still insane. I know that we've called this the "perfect storm" but I keep getting questions from newbies on what that is so ... quick recap ... oil $90 and above and high gold prices is sort of the "spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down" (Julie Andrews sang about in the sound of music) that the Iraqis require (? it's conjecture but logical) to RI/RV not only successfully but easily. We have witnessed for months oil at $70something in the middle of the month only to rise in the last 4 or 5 days to be at peak at the beginning of the next month ... it would sit in the $80something range for about 12 to 15 days and then decrease to the $70somethings and start all over again. Now this is the part that is most interesting to me ... this last month it ran up into the $90 somethings and only settled into the $80 somethings ... now, with all of the hoopla surrounding al-Maliki and the complete formation, naming, and seating of the GOI ... it is now the 21st (a time where oil has typically slid down to the $70somethings) oil just peeked over $90! I don't know when it will happen ... only that it will ... but to even a casual observer ... combined with the zeroes/near zeroes, high gold, high oil, etc. this is all positioned perfectly to support a very strong RI/RV! ... that's what the term "perfect storm" means in this context! And THAT is exciting to me! I see that Frank26 told everyone to ignore Salea ... I'm certain he meant Salih/Saleh that I have been railing against for the last several weeks ... the guy who claims that he is an "advisor" (sometimes Chancellor) ... you know "chicken little". I'm thrilled that Frank26 did this ... they guy gets 24K to 55K hits a night ... we here are fortunate when we see 2000 in a day ... I don't care who says it ... just that it gets said ... I know that Salh will be right occassionally because often on consecutive days he will take one side of the issue and then the other! ... ignore him and get the news elsewhere in that event. Ok ... off the soap box ... sorry. I will be on DV less as I have family in town but I will check-in from time to time. Peace to all ... Merry Christmas Doc31

LOL, but really just relaying the call. He usually just works at nights on the different systems, but has been doing a lot of day work as of late. Not trying to take anything from TK or make any predictions, just relaying the conversation. LOL, thanks for keeping me level!

  19. Family, if you haven’t heard today is Frank26’s birthday……..I won’t divulge an age…..but do believe we may share a mighty fine year……be sure to wish him happy birthday in the way that is so great with our family here at KTFM. Frank and I talked over a week ago about him having this day off from posting but at that point we didn’t know of all the hot news that would be bouncing around. So what I am about to share with you in blue, came from Frank earlier this afternoon….Frank I pray I can do justice to your message. Seems we’ve had some news articles that have caused a great deal of concern….what else is new….watch what they do…..not so much of what they say or print…at especially when it doesn’t come from someone in charge…as is the case of what I’m about to relate to you. The 1st Issue: There is an article that has been found from the Central Bank of Iraq….note it was from the CBI…not the GOI…the author of this article is someone named Salea….note he is an “underling” or advisor to Shabibi…..don’t be overly concerned with articles from this “advisor”…he is sneaky and not to be trusted. We are interested in what Shabibi says…and what Shabibi wants…the same as what we seek…introducing the lower denoms on the streets of Iraq. Compare this article to what China did before they revalued their currency…..they put out a massive full page article that stated….no we will not be changing the value of our currency….then three days later…they did just that. Delta and the rest of the team…report the same about this “advisor”….they see reasons for mistrust and warn…..stay away from what this “advisor” writes. There were several words within this same article that caused great confusion with those who read it today. The first of these words can be found near the top of the article…..”asaddaramlp” that in Arabic means “introduction” or “to introduce”…knowing this now should help better understand the article….the second word was near the bottom, last paragraph, was mbinna and means “to build” or “to build on” or “to stay on”….the third or last word of concern is also in this last paragraph “muhio” and the simple generalized translation is “not”….now again remember…this article…like the Chinese article….is meant to cause confusion and misinformation. The IMF is not interested in “adding” zeros…but instead the opposite…lifting zeros from the Iraqi currency…..the same as Shabibi and the CBI…Shabibi’s reason is because the Iraqi inflation is so low they have no choice but to introduce the lower denoms. The 2nd Issue We were told that Maliki would announce or provide a list of 70% of the nominees of ministers today…but there was a delay in the process….nothing new right….a delay that took things right up to 6 PM EST….at that time Maliki gave not the 70%....but instead he provided the Speaker of the House of Parliament 100%....a total of 42…..more than the normal 38…..but I've said there would be more….VP’s and others. Another part of the delay from Maliki in addition to the list of proposed ministers…was M signing 19 papers with the Kurds….this sounds of particular interest to us….Family….I told you so…..I told you...…the Kurds are in control….they told Maliki what to do. Tomorrow there will be a vote of confidence for the ministers….this will be a very important vote…this tells the ministers they are a part of “us’…right now they don’t believe they are…but tomorrow they will learn differently....and there is more...... The 3rd Issue Why don’t banks around the world exchange the Iraqi currency? Because they await the new rate….the new Iraqi rate. The vote of confidence will occur first and then the vote will occur to put the ministers into their positions of Parliament all at 4 PM EST. Another key factor….Shabibi is no longer in the US….He has left and is back in Iraq….where he needs to be to accomplish what we need….also….the vote of confidence tomorrow is not the only important thing that will happen…the HCL….and many other important things will be done….you’ve heard me and Ali always tell you…...the moment the HCL is signed….the next second….we will see our blessing….so much is being compressed into such a very short period of time….to try and hurry through these issues. Interesting times family….I can remember…as many of our older members will recall….Frank talking of standing on the edge of a cliff…..the wind in our faces….the next step….the next move….sounds to be so very exciting. Go in Peace God Bless Randy

Respectful disagreement is cool and I for one appreciate an opposing view, just be courteous. As for the article. Not sure if the Iraqis are pulling a "China", a pre-RV denial if you will. Maybe its a short term, stop gap measure. Maybe it really is just plain bad news. I do know this, Saleh's opinion is not who I would be concerned with, Shabibi is the MAN and until he says we are all screwed, then I am chilling I also know that arabic translations of articles are hit-and-miss at best. This article doesnt worry me or sway my thoughts one way or another.

  36. The "ping" story has been around at least since this time last year when we were convinced that the RV was going to occur immediately after passing of the election law. Maliki supposedly "had to RV" in order to have any chance at all to retain the PM position. Needless to say, it didn't happen, and if they haven't pinged enough by now to know that the system works, then they better switch to playing "pong."

Not trying to insult a veteran IT guy, and maybe he was just explaining to me in a non-IT person kind of way, I can fumble around and do a few basic applications, but have no real idea about what you are talking about with the tech talk you just addressed. So, do you explain complexities about computer protocol with people who barely know how to turn one on? I'm sure they would look at you like you were speaking an unknown foreign language. Wasn't trying to push an agenda, just found it curious is all. I wouldn't run out and buy more either right now, unless I had more disposable income that I could sit on. The kids need presents and the smile on their faces mean more than getting a little bit more dinar. So thank you for your input.

Sorry Guru's>>>> most of you do a great job at getting close with the intel that you receive. If you asked me are we close, I would say YES, based on the intel and media. Now here is a thought,(wheels turning in the head) what if the RV is done, but not public knowledge yet, if they can keep a date and rate from us, why could they not keep the RV until they are ready for public knowledge? It is possible, hey over a year ago the dinar came out at 1.49 I believe and was pulled back off by shabibi, so that tells me that they can do it anytime, with or with out all the things the guru's say that they have to have. This is something I was thinking about today, what if it is done, made public knowledge in the next few days? It could happen!!!!! Would be the second greatest christmas ever!!!!!! The best christmas ever is the birth of jesus!!!!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year In God We Trust Dumbnar

  47. Christmas at the Gas Station The old man sat in his gas station on a cold Christmas Eve. He hadn't been anywhere in years since his wife had passed away. It was just another day to him. He didn't hate Christmas, just couldn't find a reason to celebrate. He was sitting there looking at the snow that had been falling for the last hour and wondering what it was all about when the door opened and a homeless man stepped through. Instead of throwing the man out, Old George as he was known by his customers, told the man to come and sit by the heater and warm up. "Thank you, but I don't mean to intrude," said the stranger. "I see you're busy, I'll just go." "Not without something hot in your belly." George said. He turned and opened a wide mouth Thermos and handed it to the stranger. "It ain't much, but it's hot and tasty. Stew ... Made it myself. When you're done, there's coffee and it's fresh." Just at that moment he heard the "ding" of the driveway bell. "Excuse me, be right back," George said. There in the driveway was an old '53 Chevy. Steam was rolling out of the front. The driver was panicked. "Mister can you help me!" said the driver, with a deep Spanish accent. "My wife is with child and my car is broken." George opened the hood. It was bad. The block looked cracked from the cold, the car was dead. "You ain't going in this thing," George said as he turned away. "But Mister, please help ..." The door of the office closed behind George as he went inside. He went to the office wall and got the keys to his old truck, and went back outside. He walked around the building, opened the garage, started the truck and drove it around to where the couple was waiting. "Here, take my truck," he said. "She ain't the best thing you ever looked at, but she runs real good." George helped put the woman in the truck and watched as it sped off into the night. He turned and walked back inside the office. "Glad I gave 'em the truck, their tires were shot too. That 'ol truck has brand new ." George thought he was talking to the stranger, but the man had gone. The Thermos was on the desk, empty, with a used coffee cup beside it. "Well, at least he got something in his belly," George thought. George went back outside to see if the old Chevy would start. It cranked slowly, but it started. He pulled it into the garage where the truck had been. He thought he would tinker with it for something to do. Christmas Eve meant no customers. He discovered the block hadn't cracked, it was just the bottom hose on the radiator. "Well, shoot, I can fix this," he said to himself. So he put a new one on. "Those tires ain't gonna get 'em through the winter either." He took the snow treads off of his wife's old Lincoln. They were like new and he wasn't going to drive the car anyway. As he was working, he heard shots being fired. He ran outside and beside a police car an officer lay on the cold ground. Bleeding from the left shoulder, the officer moaned, "Please help me." George helped the officer inside as he remembered the training he had received in the Army as a medic. He knew the wound needed attention. "Pressure to stop the bleeding," he thought. The uniform company had been there that morning and had left clean shop towels. He used those and duct tape to bind the wound. "Hey, they say duct tape can fix anythin'," he said, trying to make the policeman feel at ease. "Something for pain," George thought. All he had was the pills he used for his back. "These ought to work." He put some water in a cup and gave the policeman the pills. "You hang in there, I'm going to get you an ambulance." The phone was dead. "Maybe I can get one of your buddies on that there talk box out in your car." He went out only to find that a bullet had gone into the dashboard destroying the two way radio. He went back in to find the policeman sitting up. "Thanks," said the officer. "You could have left me there. The guy that shot me is still in the area." George sat down beside him, "I would never leave an injured man in the Army and I ain't gonna leave you." George pulled back the bandage to check for bleeding. "Looks worse than what it is. Bullet passed right through 'ya. Good thing it missed the important stuff though. I think with time your gonna be right as rain." George got up and poured a cup of coffee. "How do you take it?" he asked. "None for me," said the officer. "Oh, yer gonna drink this. Best in the city. Too bad I ain't got no donuts." The officer laughed and winced at the same time. The front door of the office flew open. In burst a young man with a gun. "Give me all your cash! Do it now!" the young man yelled. His hand was shaking and George could tell that he had never done anything like this before. "That's the guy that shot me!" exclaimed the officer. "Son, why are you doing this?" asked George, "You need to put the cannon away. Somebody else might get hurt." The young man was confused. "Shut up old man, or I'll shoot you, too. Now give me the cash!" The cop was reaching for his gun. "Put that thing away," George said to the cop, "we got one too many in here now." He turned his attention to the young man. "Son, it's Christmas Eve. If you need money, well then, here. It ain't much but it's all I got. Now put that pea shooter away." George pulled $150 out of his pocket and handed it to the young man, reaching for the barrel of the gun at the same time. The young man released his grip on the gun, fell to his knees and began to cry. "I'm not very good at this am I? All I wanted was to buy something for my wife and son," he went on. "I've lost my job, my rent is due, my car got repossessed last week." George handed the gun to the cop. "Son, we all get in a bit of squeeze now and then. The road gets hard sometimes, but we make it through the best we can." He got the young man to his feet, and sat him down on a chair across from the cop. "Sometimes we do stupid things." George handed the young man a cup of coffee. "Bein' stupid is one of the things that makes us human. Comin' in here with a gun ain't the answer. Now sit there and get warm and we'll sort this thing out." The young man had stopped crying. He looked over to the cop. "Sorry I shot you. It just went off. I'm sorry officer." "Shut up and drink your coffee " the cop said. George could hear the sounds of sirens outside. A police car and an ambulance skidded to a halt. Two cops came through the door, guns drawn. "Chuck! You ok?" one of the cops asked the wounded officer. "Not bad for a guy who took a bullet. How did you find me?" "GPS locator in the car. Best thing since sliced bread. Who did this?" the other cop asked as he approached the young man. Chuck answered him, "I don't know. The guy ran off into the dark. Just dropped his gun and ran." George and the young man both looked puzzled at each other. "That guy work here?" the wounded cop continued. "Yep," George said, "just hired him this morning. Boy lost his job." The paramedics came in and loaded Chuck onto the stretcher. The young man leaned over the wounded cop and whispered, "Why?" Chuck just said, "Merry Christmas boy ... and you too, George, and thanks for everything." "Well, looks like you got one doozy of a break there. That ought to solve some of your problems." George went into the back room and came out with a box. He pulled out a ring box. "Here you go, something for the little woman. I don't think Martha would mind. She said it would come in handy some day." The young man looked inside to see the biggest diamond ring he ever saw. "I can't take this," said the young man. "It means something to you." "And now it means something to you," replied George. "I got my memories. That's all I need." George reached into the box again. An airplane, a car and a truck appeared next. They were toys that the oil company had left for him to sell. "Here's something for that little man of yours." The young man began to cry again as he handed back the $150 that the old man had handed him earlier. "And what are you supposed to buy Christmas dinner with? You keep that too," George said. "Now git home to your family." The young man turned with tears streaming down his face. "I'll be here in the morning for work, if that job offer is still good." "Nope. I'm closed Christmas day," George said. "See ya the day after." George turned around to find that the stranger had returned. "Where'd you come from? I thought you left?" "I have been here. I have always been here," said the stranger. "You say you don't celebrate Christmas. Why?" "Well, after my wife passed away, I just couldn't see what all the bother was. Puttin' up a tree and all seemed a waste of a good pine tree. Bakin' cookies like I used to with Martha just wasn't the same by myself and besides I was gettin' a little chubby." The stranger put his hand on George's shoulder. "But you do celebrate the holiday, George. You gave me food and drink and warmed me when I was cold and hungry. The woman with child will bear a son and he will become a great doctor. The policeman you helped will go on to save 19 people from being killed by terrorists. The young man who tried to rob you will make you a rich man and not take any for himself. "That is the spirit of the season and you keep it as good as any man." George was taken aback by all this stranger had said. "And how do you know all this?" asked the old man. "Trust me, George. I have the inside track on this sort of thing. And when your days are done you will be with Martha again." The stranger moved toward the door. "If you will excuse me, George, I have to go now. I have to go home where there is a big celebration planned." George watched as the old leather jacket and the torn pants that the stranger was wearing turned into a white robe.
