One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes My heart went out to him, so I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses. I saw a tear in his eye as I handed him his glasses, so I said, 'those guys are jerks they really should get lives.” 'He looked at me and said, 'hey thanks!' There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak Graduation day, I saw Kyle and he looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous and today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.' I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he talked about the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. 'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look around to see whose life you can impact.

Hey DV family I just wanted to share some info with you. First of all I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I gained a couple of pounds this last weekend. Alright I have some info that seems right on track with an RV coming in place in less then 3 weeks if not sooner. Also the rate will be around $3.50 - $4.00 mark. The budget will be out at anytime right now and it should have the RV in it. Please dont listen to other people with them saying its going to be at a $8.0 mark, thats crazy! We are at the end of the road DV family so please make sure you have in place on what you are going to do with it. Be smart with it. Only 2 seats need to be filled and some are saying the Kurds will fill those seats. Just in time for X-Mass or any other holidays to spend on loved ones and family. I thought it was going to happen this past weekend but I was off by a week, crap. Look for it to happen between 2-3 am EST on the other side of the world first and hitting us last. Also, you may want to learn the differences in terminology between a revaluation vs. a redenomination as you can be most assured your Dinars will NOT "redenominate". If you are riding this out awaiting a redenomination, your net gain will be ZERO & you will be out the commissions you paid. Perhaps you ought to just sit back & educate yourself more before hoping on here & slamming people. It really makes you look pretty foolish.

Not the CIA or the FBI or the Senate, and even in any of those organizations, is there a great deal of truth being handed out? No. In fact, again, this is a forums discussion site, much of what you read can be completely be made up! Take it for what it's worth... Hey DV family, hope everyone is doing well......I know we all need to be patient and optimistic( as we are told to do everyday with this investment), and true there are NO GUARANTEES when it comes to the RV. Its just so frustrating and a bit depressing that in the past 24hrs, it feels like so many people are jumpin ship and throwin in the towel, I mean the same people who for yrs are quoting rates and giving plauseable reasons why we all made a good investment, are now talking bout a LOP, and how the Dinar dealers and Iraq all scammed us like some great pyramid scam......I personally still dont believe its out there, and just like the pumpers trying to get more money with their $8+ rumors, I take the negative rumors with a grain of salt also, but all the same I just want some knowledgeable sound reasons from my extended family here on why the RV is still realistic and promising, just a little pick me up is all Im askin I guess, its been a long month personall...take care and God Bless you all!

Hey DV family I just wanted to share some info with you. First of all I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I gained a couple of pounds this last weekend. Alright I have some info that seems right on track with an RV coming in place in less then 3 weeks if not sooner. Also the rate will be around $3.50 - $4.00 mark. The budget will be out at anytime right now and it should have the RV in it. Please dont listen to other people with them saying its going to be at a $8.0 mark, that's crazy! We are at the end of the road DV family so please make sure you have in place on what you are going to do with it. Be smart with it. Only 2 seats need to be filled and some are saying the Kurds will fill those seats. Just in time for X-Mass or any other holidays to spend on loved ones and family. I thought it was going to happen this past weekend but I was off by a week, crap. Look for it to happen between 2-3 am EST on the other side of the world first and hitting us last. That's all right now but any new info I will share. God Bless you all.. GO RV.. All I want for X-mass is an RV!

I have pulled and read every Duck chat going back to last spring. He is the only one who has been consistently right. When everyone was saying last spring that the RV was going to happen, he said "no it isn't." He has consistently said "seat the PM = Chapter 7 release/RV. Now he is saying that this will conclude this month. I believe him. He has connected the dots all along. It is what it is.

All they do is come here to poo poo this investment. So when we DO ask why are they invested, they always say the same thing...."Well it might happen" If one thinks it might happen then they should really shut up about a lop. Don't be too quick to attack Dinarmoneyman......he made some excellent, and very easily defended points, even if they're not what we want to hear. Each and every one of them can be discussed and debated, but the bottom line is that there is no "proof" to dispute any of them. He, like the rest of us, got into this investment because he believed that there was a "chance" that something amazing could happen and that the potential reward outweighed the risk. Again, like most of us, his degree of confidence has eroded to some degree over time - something which is ALSO well supported by the available evidence. I think most of us have learned by now that the rumors have been 100% erroneous to date (and that's a diplomatic way of putting it). DD's post "diplomatically" expressed that concern without naming names or going into detail. It was a responsible way to remind people to be mindful of the FACTS, while maintaing a positive attitude and resisting the urge to act on impulse and rumor. It's blatantly obvious that a large majority of the rumors are designed and distributed with the specific purpose of increasing dinar sales. To deny or refuse to believe this is simply delusional. We have to learn to study the available facts, ignore the rumors, and hope that in the end, (whenever that might be) a profit will be made on our investment. Simple logic dictates that with every "believable" rumor comes a flood of profits in dinar sales. This has been the case for 7 years now, and is unlikely to end until: 1) we finally see the RV; or 2) People finally stop buying more dinars after reading these "believable" rumors. Meanwhile, we wait.

I wish DD was like the Drudge Report of news. Drudge is not commenting every other day on the news or suspected news like DD does. He's starting to seem very gullible to fake intel and fake sources that get him all pumped up for RV and then he in turn hypes everybody up then gets crushed when it doesn't happen. He has done this over and over again. I wish he would remain neutral in this investment like the real Drudge does.

The Govenment putting freezes on fed salaries is more symbolic like not taking earmarks. The $'s are minimal compared to the budget. I bet that when this rv's that our govenment will just talk about how Iraq paid for the war not discussing how much money that is.(Who really can comprehend trillions of dollars.) Then when the new budget comes out and it shows we do not have a deficit O will take credit for it contributing it to his policies not an Iraq rv. Let me answer, I invested because while exchanging money in Egypt (usd to egyptian pound) my associate asked if I wanted some iqd. Sure, wasn't expensive and there was an off chance it would rv. DD: 1) I’ve said time and again that the ONLY way we can really follow this investment is to ensure we are aware of ALL the information…. not just the information we HOPE is out there, but ALL the information DD: as such, I wish to point a few things out for us all to be aware of… DD: – Obama speech…. I dont know Duck personally, but have a freind that I get good info from that does kmow Duck well, my freind said Duck was old military guy with very good connections in the U.S. & Iraqs Govts. & My freind has always shot straight w/ me & I have known him a long time, so take it for what you want but my freind dont like rumors & has never been one to blow smoke & Duck has said all along that he thought end of year w/ possability of soner if govt seated , FIL, HCL laws in Gazette & then when Chapter 7 ilifted = RV in in that order!

With all the disappointments I've experienced since acquiring dinars, I feel that I'm finally at the end of the trip. Everything appears to be in place for the RV to happen any moment now. The government is in place, giving Dr. Shabibi his reason to release the RV. The rate that I've most recently heard is supposedly going to be between the $3 and $5 range - as a managed currency. That's great! If it comes out at the $.86 price but is left to be free floating - that's great, too. It'll probably exceed $6.00 within the next month! In no time during the years that I've been invested in the dinars have all the elements for the RV to happen come together as they have now! The rumored announcement of the RV to occur today, at 11:00 a.m., EST is the latest rumor, but based on more G2 than rumor from Iraq. That's 12 minutes away - on my PST clock. Since we have no control over what happens in Iraq, we should look at this latest rumor as another possibility that will hopefully turn into our crowning moment. If it doesn't, we need to continue hanging in there with the feeling that the dinar has to logically occur, because of all different steps that Iraq has apparently taken to get to that point. They’ve gotten far enough out from under Chapter 7 for the U.N. to allow them to RV. They’ve apparently reconciled their debts to Kuwait and other countries from the last twenty years of war. The ruling factions, by now, should have feathered their beds with riches to last several lifetimes. These are just a few of the major factors why Iraq is ready to RV while re-denominating the dinar at the same time. In looking back since the beginning of the year, when the election was supposed to have happened in January and then finally was held in March, the subsequent infighting for the top posts have been the main reason for the delay in the RV from happening. Evidently, the government formation issue has finally been resolved. That is what the CBI has been waiting for in order to justify the RV. We should be seeing something great and positive happening as early as today. Of course, this is only my opinion, based on my business experience, forever working at closing deals – so much is based on timing. Totally agree! We keep hearing that the US, China, GB, and so on, hold trillions of dinar. NO ONE has been able to prove this.

I don't mind paying taxes, but not the exorbitant amounts the federal, state, and local governments will require. Especially when there are LEGAL ways to reduce your taxes. Not eliminate, but reduce. Why give more than you have to? 35%!? If only! You're forgetting state tax which can be an additional 10% or more depending on where you live. Then there's the sales tax or VAT on the stuff you buy, the tax on giving it to your family or leaving it in an inheritance, etc. After all is said and done you'll wish it was only 35%! I love America and I'll pay my taxes, but not one penny more than I legally have to. I don't feel the need to subsidize the socialization of America any more than I legally have to! Honesty is paying your taxes. Wisdom is paying as little as you have to.
