Hello. I have a confession. The happy-go-lucky personality has been hiding a secret. Up until now, it's worked fine, but now, things have changed. I've been unemployed now for almost 2 years. It's now getting real bad. I'm one step away from grabbing a piece of cardboard and begging on the streets. Savings is gone. IRA is gone. Stock portfolio is gone. Selling what little Dinar I still have isn't enough. Unemployment isn't enough and juggling is now catching up with us. Yes, I've hit rock bottom. I've lost my pride. Lost my dignity. Now I'm real close to losing everything. Never thought it would get this bad. Never thought that the automotive industry would crash so bad that GM would start closing dealerships and go to the government for a bailout. I'll still watch the forum, but after the conversation with the wife tonight, pretending to be happy isn't really an option anymore. To those of you that laughed at my off-the-wall posts, thank you. HEY P!, Just wanted to say! You are one of the ones that I ALWAYS click on to hear from.We are a lot alike I am also like Max where I put on a smiley face in the very difficult times we are now living.Things are not always as they seem! I have had a lot, and had literally nothing. Lost everything and was living at a KOA with my husband and 4 kids in an 8 man tent. Homeschoolng them on the outside pic-nic table.Yes it's all true. Mercifully, God allowed my children to enjoy it so much, that for years after we got back in a house, they were asking to spend their birthdays at the KOA! :lol: . I must say, I still have some very fond memories of a gracious God showing me that yes, I can now too live without many things as long as I have Him, and my family. We are now also facing losing it all again.We just closed our 15 year business, and we were served with foreclosure papers yesterday. But this time, I am passing the test with flying colors.I am trusting that God will carry us through. I see it as an adventure that could be one of the greatest things in my life! Chin up Mr P! We can go through this together....fight for what is yours! Your God, your wife, your kids???? Those are things that matter. Thats no surprise!! Most people do think we have lost it to invest in Iraq just because of what they see on TV day in and day out with the violence and crappy living situations......I guess we will see who has the last laugh.....

All, I’ve been debating whether to post this or not, as it has only come from one contact, but I can’t hold my tongue any longer about this, so here goes. I’m getting conflicting information to all the other information we’re hearing that this is imminent, stating we may not see a change in the valuation of the Iraqi currency until Q1 of 2011, so my expectations are now pushed back to the next tri-yearly UNSC meeting in February from the Oct 17th date I’ve been keying on since June. I don’t feel like getting into the specifics, as they don’t really matter. Take this as a “RUMOR“, as I can’t verify it. So, I will be placing it in the “Tidbits“ and “Rumor“ sections. Yes, this is my FIRST to be placing myself in this section. LOL! No one is immune. Here’s to hoping this information is wrong, and that ALL other information is accurate. If I’m being used to disseminate incorrect information, I’m sorry. It’s just too important for me to remain honest in both my excitement and disappointment here on the site. I’ve been told this DOES NOT impact the reality of this investment, only the timing. Furthermore, the value is said to only increase because of the delay, so please remain strong. Because of this information, I must unfortunately change my stance about “end of October”, as my heart says that it is no longer the case as I once believed. Candidly, I am torn, as I’ve heard so many good things about this coming month, but I can’t ignore the information in front of me, and who it is from. It's been mentioned before, but I will reiterate. This is positive movement!! Imagine if these tellers listened to what the customers are saying, then go home and do a little research. Imagine if these tellers then decide to buy their own dinar. When the RV hits, those tellers would have no reason to work at a job like that, and quit. If the lowly tellers at banks across America had their hands on what is going to happen, every one of them would quit, post RV. Very shaisty of banks to keep this info from getting to EVERYONE (tellers,) but there is business in everything and that business can't survive without the people that make it work. In conclusion, OF COURSE THEY WANT TO DISSUADE THE REALITY OF THIS INVESTMENT TO THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE BUSINESS ALIVE!!

If anyone has purchased IQD from them since November 2009 I would go & seek so legal advice on how to claim against Wells Fargo for selling something that they believe is a scam. In all honesty this just doesn’t sound correct & for a bank to release such a statement/memo claiming it’s a scam, yet continued to sale them for nearly 1 year is asking a world of dog dope Take back what you purchased & call there bluff, like to be the fly on the wall when that happens

Hello, Since yesterday, I have learned many things. First and foremost, I have learned that some of you know what you are involved with, and some of you do not. A few of you have even commented on my "newbie" status, referencing that I "must" be NEW to the investment world. I have been an investor for more than a decade, and I am well versed in public company valuation. Foreign currency is a somewhat new foray for me, but the financials of money investment remain the same. The Iraqi Dinar DOES have potential, and i DO own $5,000,000.00 Dinar myself. What I am disappointed in is the reaction of the pumpers on this forum. It would seem that anyone who poses a question regarding the revaluation of the Dinar is immediately attacked by the minority of ignorant members lurking about here. I have seen this behavior many times in the past, and it nearly ALWAYS leads to the dismay of those who bash legitimate questions. I DO believe the Iraqi Dinar has a potential to revalue at a rate that will please many of us, but I fear that there will be many on these boards who will misunderstand the timing of the revaluation and will cash in for inappropriate values, thereby creating an opportunity for yet another massive transfer of wealth into the hands of the already wealthy. Good luck to all those who chose to bash my simple question, that of "where" the money will come from. I hope you will do well. But in the long term, I truly hope you know what you are doing, because your actions will affect the world at large, and if you are not careful, you may just find yourself another casualty (at least fiscally) of a war that has been raging for more than three thousand years.

Thank You.... I want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery. I no longer open a bathroom door without using a paper towel, or have the waitress put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel. I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels. I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed. I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one's nose. Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years. I can't touch any woman's purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public bathroom. I MUST SEND MY SPECIAL THANKS to whoever sent me the one about rat poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing. ALSO, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason. I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die for the 1,387,258th time. I no longer have any money, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program. I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa's Novena has granted my every wish. I can't have a drink in a bar because I'll wake up in a bathtub full of ice with my kidneys gone. I can't eat at KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes, feet or feathers. I can't use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day. THANKS TO YOU I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes. BECAUSE OF YOUR CONCERN, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains. I no longer buy gas without taking someone along to watch the car so a serial killer doesn't crawl in my back seat when I'm filling up. I no longer drink Pepsi or Fanta since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put Under God on their cans. I no longer use Cling Wrap in the microwave because it causes seven different types of cancer. AND THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW I can't boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face.. Disfiguring me for life. I no longer go to the movies because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS when I sit down I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me. I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex since they are actually Al Qaeda agents in disguise. And I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , Uganda , Singapore , and Uzbekistan I no longer buy cookies from Neiman-Marcus since I now have their recipe. THANKS TO YOU I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big black snake could be lurking under the seat and cause me instant death when it bites my butt. AND THANKS TO YOUR GREAT ADVICE I can't ever pick up $2.00 coin dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting to grab me as I bend over.. I no longer drive my car because buying gas from some companies supports Al Qaeda, and buying gas from all the others supports South American dictators. I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the Violin Spider and my hand will fall off. If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,327 people in the next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, and the fleas from 120 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's best friend's beautician . . .. Oh, by the way..... A German scientist from Argentina , after a lengthy study, has discovered that people with insufficient brain activity read their e-mail with their hand on the mouse. Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late. PS: I now keep my toothbrush in the living room, because I was told by e-mail that water splashes over 6 ft. out of the toilet.

Just one thought...............regarding the word "SCAM" by definition:- 1. A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle. 2. To defraud; swindle. 3. Rip off, fraud, trick, robbery. 4. Scamming is getting someone to pay a lot of money from a worthless item. 5. Securing Confidence by Arranged Manipulations. 6. Securing Confidence with Attractive Misrepresentations. Now I have some dinar and was I scammed in buying it NOPE! Did I buy as a possible investment YES! Did I pay more than the market rate for it YES! But you do when buying any currency so do I think I have been scammed NOPE! The "SCAM" word is used many times in the wrong way to deter people from maybe profitable investments to effect prices etc Just bear that in mind too!!!

Mr Parrot, We have met with some similar times ourselves. Thing just could not be any bleaker, no light at the end of our tunnel. I am not an overly religious person so I will not tell you to pray, that is your decision. What I will share is the fact that it is important to keep your head up, spirits as high as you can possible muster and always look to your partner for support, and be just as willing to give it. Worry, woe is me attitudes only make bad situations worse. I know a few people right now in similar situations, trying to squeeze just one more payment out of that check . Chin up, you will prevail.

MrParrot, I Am so sorry to hear about your struggles. It's easy for all of us to hide behind these computer screens & enter a little yellow smiley face when on the other side we are crying in despair. I understand how you are feeling..I have been through not knowing how I was going to feed my children, this year alone my fiancé has had to take a job in Kuwait, my grandmother, a woman I loved more than anything in this world, became ill and passed away the end of July, I lost my job, my dad, the strongest, best man I know, had a major heart attack & may never work again (he is only 56), I have just found out if the RV doesn't happen soon my fiancé will have to stay in Kuwait or possibly afganistan until at least April. I feel useless without my job. I'm here alone trying to take care and love my 2 girls & his son & daughter. A few days ago I was just at the lowest point I could get. I was done, ready to give up. I begged God to please, not to give me anymore. It was just too much. He has given me a peace that everything is going to be ok. That's not to say I won't have another bad day, but I know as long as my eyes are on Him it will be ok. I understand too why you felt you wanted to share this personal information on this forum. There are so many wonderful people here. Even though they may be going through their own struggles they find the strength to encourage and care for others who need reminded that someone out there cares about you and is concerned for you. A TOTAL STRANGER cares! It's wonderful to know we can be there for eachother over all the miles stretched between us. I pray God gives you a peace & comfort to know He is walking right beside you. We have so much in common.. I lost my house a year ago, I had the owner of the company I worked for steal from the company and my lost portion was $250,000, I lost one of my cars, I have an MBA and can not find a job (or at least one that pays more that it takes for the gas to get to work), I have never been this broke in my life. I am in a unhappy realtionship of 11 year ( 1 1/2 years ago we started being unhappy). But I look at it that this is making me stronger. When this does hit, and it will (hopefully soon), I will look at the past year and smile and tell myself - WOW that really sucked- and order another beer and watch the sun rise over the ocean. These times that we are going through define the person that we are - so hang in there, it will get better.

The Fed answers to no one. They unfortunately don't need an RV to come up with the 500 Billion to add to their balance sheet. All they have to do is print more money. There is nothing positive about this process. It is another attempt by the Gov't. to stimulate the economy, and they know that the voting public will riot if they do another bailout/stimulus package like the last two. But this is just another way to accomplish the same objective. If the Fed wants to flood the market with US dollars, they can. (And by the way, they will). The unfortunate result of which will be the de-valuation of the US dollar. That's why, after an RV, you can't just stick your cash in a US bank and expect to make money on it forever. Because, with the Fed printing more money all the time, each dollar, over time will buy less and less. Two or three years from now, the US dollar will buy half of what it does right now. Apart from the RV, the Fed in essence will devalue the dollar relative to other currencies, so that we can pay back portions of our national debt in cheaper dollars, to China and other countries that are creditors of the US. The RV is the wild card. Without it, the US economy is doomed. With it, it will depend on what the gov't. does with the money. If they pay down debt, we have hope. If they blow it, which is unfortunately what they are more likely to do, then we're in deep doo-doo. Sorry for the bad news.

It is an inspiration to hear for GOOD people on this site that are struggling, yet trusting in the Lord that things WILL IMPROVE according to God's will. It is amazing what an encouragement people can be to others when humility and love is shown to others. I have a couple favorite songs that have lifted me and my wife in times of despair. It is hard to feel encouraged by just people's words at times, but God is always there via his word. For those discouraged right now, continue to be faithful. Mr Parrot, Not only am I where you are...MANY and I do mean MANY people that I love, know and respect are in similar circumstances....especially the ones who are trying to do something good with their lives, pastors, businessmen & women, teachers...I have seen the gamut...and I say to you what just this morning a dear friend and brother said to me....he is a businessman, a christian leader and witness, a man who uses his profits to got to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and other such places to build hospitals, schools, dig wells and he himself is barely hanging in there financially... no matter what you have lost or are losing thank GOD for what you have no matter how small because GOD inhabits the PRAISES of HIS people... you are now officially on my prayer list... The biggest trick dictators use is to make you give up your freedom for protection. Dont fall for it, stick with your freedom, God and guns! "Thats why a bunch of gov. officials are quoted and recorded saying they cant let a good crisis go to waste" - ie 9-11, housing bubble, etc. This is a fact weather or not they create the crisis is debatable
