Team 7/21/10 July 21, 2010 · Posted on another site I have decided tonight to give you all a brief review of the FACTS of the situation prior to offering my take on the “where we are” part of my presentation. I don’t do this to fill time but do it instead for two simple reasons: first, there are “newbies” who have hardly a clue as to why they are involved in this investment. Second, there are many among you who are truly frustrated with the incessant delays and have come to question whether you have made a bad investment. In the next few minutes I hope to show you both that you have not only made a good investment, but also to show you that your investment is about to pay off for you. I will be as specific as I can in this effort, and I will also be as concise as I am able. I am aware from your comments in the forums that you appreciate how I “make it simple to understand”. Therefore, with your blessing, I will begin. Many people have questioned over the last several years whether this is a “pipe dream” or a real investment. We need to deal with that first, and foremost, so that we can dispense with it once and for all. In short, the question is this: Is this investment an “if” or is it a “when”? After that, we will ask another much more important question. Please bear with me. Our journey begins with information received from two sources. The first is truly amazing. It is also quite new to you all. This is not all review. You will be surprised to find out that the United States government made a decision as far back as the end of the Saddam Hussein regime to do what they did, and at that very time they also made it clear that this was a temporary decision. I had been told this some time ago, and actually believed it. But it was Muffin, from our own site, who presented me with the proof of this amazing reality. She sent me a file of 198 pages that says quite clearly that the decision to reduce the value of the IQD to toilet paper value was intentional on the part of the US. Furthermore, the document that she sent me, which I will post in the “files to download” section of our forums, says clearly that it was the intention of the US, as occupier of Iraq, to eventually re-instate the value of the IQD (known as the “new Dinar” in the file) to the value that it held in the 1970s. Furthermore, and this is extremely important, the same unclassified document also said in a footnote that it was important that this not be revealed too soon because of the potential speculative affect that it would have on the international markets when the currency was brought back to that 1970s level. Incidentally, that level, in the 1970s, was over $3.00 per dinar. This is totally new information to you all, and to the internet in general, and Muffin deserves the credit for having found it. We will post it on our site as a “file to download”, which, incidentally, no other website that I am aware of offers at this time. Our position is clear: the truth will come forth freely! Now, having said that, I’d like to present a brief synopsis of what happened after that classified document was written, and how it eventually became a reality, and how we can now know that we will see the dinar at its 1970s value of over $3.00 in the near future. Incidentally, friends, you won’t find this anywhere else, period. I’m not boasting. I’m just telling you the truth. Since that document was written as a classified document here is exactly what has occurred. I have written this in my book, which is free for download only on our site, but also may exist elsewhere, since I do have a history of moving from home to home. In any case, what I present here is a brief review of what I know to be true and can prove, and that is what is important, in my opinion. All of my comments are available in my book, with links, until I state otherwise. In September of 2005 an official statement was made in which it was announced that the “value” of the dinar was the responsibility of the Central Bank of Iraq while the “fiscal policy” was the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. At that time it was stated that the dinar was grossly undervalued. More to the point is this fact from the article, which I have not presented before other than in my book, and which is quite telling. Here is the quote: “Lastly Zubaidi [in his] correspondence in reference to the International Monetary Fund in supporting the resolution of the Iraqi dinar noted that it was remarkable considering that the Central Bank of Iraq financially covers $ 11 billion dollars to support the value of the Iraqi dinar and that amount of cover is rarely found in the third world.” Now this was in 2005, folks, and it was clear then that the CBI was totally on top of things. They were way over the top in terms of supporting the value of the dinar, which then, as now, was toilet paper. Their reserves of 11 billion dollars were enormous in terms of what other third world countries had to cover their own currencies. I am just beginning. Please fasten your seat belts. On June 29, 2006 a statement was made by Mr. Al-Zubaidi that will blow your minds. I will quote what was written in the article posted that day: “The Ministry of Finance together with the Central Bank are studying a proposal to raise the value of the Iraqi dinar in order to return it to previous levels where one Iraqi dinar was valued at 3.33 US dollars.” For those of you who are new to this investment you are beginning to see why I am optimistic. But we are only at 2006. Let’s move on. I have to stop a moment. Does any other site do this? Think about that for a moment. Now, on January 21, 2007 Mr. Al-Zubaidi made another statement which was posted in the press. Here it is, and I quote: Al Zubaidi emphasized that the Ministry of Finance and in consultation with the Central Bank seeks to identify the exchange rate of the dollar at 1260 dinar during the this year. It also laid down a plan to restore the Iraqi dinar to its former era during the coming three years expressing his hope to stabilize its exchange rate at 1000 dinar for the dollar during the coming period. Now it is important to note that he stated that it was his “hope”, clear back in 2007, that the exchange rate would reach its value from the “former era”, namely before Saddam’ regime, for the dinar. This is not reported anywhere else on the internet, and we have him on record from that date that the dinar should return to the pre-Saddam value, for the second time! This was in January of 2007. In August of 2008, about 18 months later we received another article of confirmation regarding the intentions of the Iraqi government. Here is a quote: “The Finance Ministry has prepared a plan to increase the value of the dinar against the dollar and then delete the three zeroes from the dinar’s value to contribute to the advancement of the Iraqi economy during the coming period.” It was here that the problems with the “lop” theory began, because the term “delete the three zeros from the dinar’s value” was introduced into the discussion. However, this was way back in 2008. All we needed to do was wait for the Iraqis to give us more information, and it would all become clear. We finally got their answer on February 10, 2010, this year. Here are the clear quotes from the the Radio Free Iraq press: The Iraqi Central Bank is planning to redenominate the national currency in an effort to ease transactions and allow people to carry less paper money. That seems clear enough. But there was more: “Muhammad Salih, a member of a Central Bank advisory panel, told RFI that a plan has been made to remove three zeros from the currency and phase out the current banknotes late this year. “Salih said by the end of 2010 the new banknotes will be fully introduced while the old banknotes will be gradually removed from circulation. “Both will be legal tender in Iraq until the old notes are completely withdrawn.” Now, if this was unclear to anyone, and it certainly should not be, a statement was made again on February 10, only four days later, to clarify the intentions of the Central Bank of Iraq and the Ministry of Finance. Here is a quote from the article: The CBI begins at the end of the year and gradually will replace the currency now in circulation and a new currency in which zeroes are deleted is within the strategy to reform the monetary system started in 2005. It is important to note here that this article is stating exactly what I have stated, namely that this process was started in 2005. Muffin’s sending me this confirmed to me absolutely that this is not just an Iraqi plan but more importantly that it is the UN/US plan, and has been from the beginning. This is very important, my friends. I’m just getting going now. On the very next day Mr. Al-Zubaidi, the head of the Ministry of Finance, said the following, and I quote from the article: The proposal to raise three zeroes from the currency will be in accordance with the right monetary policy and is not gradual, as happened in Turkey and this policy will raise the monetary value of the Iraqi currency and will Strengthen the Iraqi dinar against all currencies. I have shortened the actual quote there but the content remains the same. Not a week later Mr. Shabibi, the head of the Central Bank of Iraq went on record himself before the IMF. He wrote a “Letter of Intent” to them which was written just before Al-Zubaidi’s public announcement but was published shortly thereafter. The letter itself is dated February 8, 2010. In his Letter of Intent to the IMF he announced, essentially to the world, that the Iraqi dinar would “enter the international financial markets”. Furthermore, he stated that it would happen in “the near future”. Even more telling, he announced that on entering that market that the IQD would be on a “managed float”. Now, all of this is consistent with the following, and this is why I have presented it: First, it is now known that this was the plan of the United States for Iraq from the beginning. This comes from the 198 page document that Muffin sent me and confirms what I had written in my book, but adds that it was the US plan and not just an Iraqi plan. Second, this has been shown to have been planned from 2005 and that Iraq is only following the plan. Third, by announcing that Iraq is ready to bring the IQD to the international market “in the near future” we can clearly see that Shabibi of the CBI was ready clear back in February when I published my book. So, what has happened since then, and, more particularly, what is holding up the RV? If you will indulge me a little longer I will give you the outline of what has happened since then. At the end of this, hopefully, everyone on this call will know, without a hesitation of a doubt, that your investment is not only real, but also that it will pay off, big time. So, let’s move forward. I hope I haven’t lost you all, yet. We see now that the entire issue of the revaluing of the dinar was set in stone by the US government 5 years ago and that the plan was well underway by the Iraqi government. We also see that they were following the “orders” as written for 5 years now. This should seal for all of you this fact: this is not an “if” question; it is now a “when” question. Therefore for those of you who have been in this for years, relax. This will happen, and soon. Let’s see why that is the case. The dinar was set to RV in late December or early this year. Both Maliki and Shabibi indicated that in correspondence with the UN, in Maliki’s case, and in the press, in Shabibi’s case. I won’t bother you with the quotes from here on since it is available somewhere on the net, either on Adam’s site, dont promote other sitess’, or another site. It was presented there by me and is still in there archives. In any case, I will reproduce this at the GET TEAM site in short order so that you will all know that I’m not a “bloviator”, as O’Reilly uses the term. Unfortunately the entire RV scenario came to a halt with the election in Iraq. Our “blessing” as Frank calls it, has been delayed. We all know what has happened over that last four months. I will state this simple fact: the entire delay is due to one man only. If you are not aware of whom I am speaking then I suggest you find another site to follow. This is not a game. This is our investment. I am trying very hard to elevate the discussion so that we all can see what is happening and where we are, today. Now, 20 minutes into our time together, let’s figure out where we are. I will now move into the immediate present and the near future, since I’ve bored you enough. As I predicted some weeks ago the alliances have now been formed. I am confident in stating this since Al-Sadr himself has stated it. Here is the way that this will play out. Al-Sadr has finally made a commitment, as of today only. He has sided with Allawi. This is in spite of Maliki’s attempt to sway him to the State of Law side by offering to release prisoners. However, Al-Sadr, a cleric, and a Shiite, has figured out that Maliki cannot be trusted. He knew this from the beginning but gave the man an opportunity to show his cards. Clearly, the cards were not sufficient to sway Al-Sadr. What was amazing, to me, was that Al-Sadr also failed to show his own cards with Allawi when they met in Damascus a couple of days ago. Yet today he said it, and he said it clearly. Without endorsing Allawi directly he stated that the Iraqiya List, which is the Allawi group, has finally found the solution to form the new government. Having said this, I predict that the new government will be announced within the next day or two at the most, and almost certainly tomorrow (I’m writing this on Tuesday night). Whether Maliki has a place in the government is now, in my opinion, a moot point. I’m interested in my investment! I expect the announcement of the new government to be made forthwith, as in the next day or so. The government will be based on a Triangle, as Al-Sadr hinted, made of three bases. The three bases, as I predicted some weeks ago, will be the Kurdish Alliance, The Iraqiya List, which is Sunnis, and the National Alliance, which is the Shiites. Whether, and to what extent, Maliki participates, will not change the results. Shortly thereafter, and I suspect within a day or so, we will see two things happen. Those two things are the release of Iraq from Chapter 7 and the revaluation of the currency. The fact is that the release from Chapter 7 has, in my opinion, always been conditioned on the position of Maliki in the new government. As long as he is not in the PM position, Chapter 7 will be released. Along with that will come the revaluation. I have always believed that the Chapter 7 and the revaluation were “quid pro quo” deals, meaning that one went with the other. But I’ve also contended that Chapter 7 release was Maliki’s hang up and not that of the entire country of Iraq. Furthermore, I’ve held that the UN has withheld the release of Chapter 7 almost solely because it was so important to Maliki. This ultimately has come down to politics. Unfortunately for Maliki, he was playing in a bigger league than he knew. The UN held firm while at the same time the IMF pressed forward toward the finish line. The RV was always the prize. Yet Maliki will be shown to be the one who could not deliver, in my opinion. That “crown” will go to Allawi. With that crown, incidentally, will come a lot of “perks”. It is my view that because Allawi will be shown to have “come through” for the people, this will benefit him tremendously and he will become a very powerful man. I’d love to talk more about that, but my investment, and yours, is the first item on the plate. I look for our investment to pay off before Ramadan, before August 4, which is one of Frank’s dates, and, hopefully, later this week. Of course I could be wrong.

Basically that is correct but that dinar may be in the Federal Reserve. Which means that it is not owned by that US Gov. If the US gov. has some stashed somewhere else that someone can bring that forward but in either case do not ever think for one minute that this government will ever announce that our debt is paid off to any degree. Even though this war and recovery was paid for by the blood of our soldiers and the hard earned dollars of US citizens it is my opinion that it will never be announce that we have been reimbursed in any way. To do so would mean that they would have to lower our taxes in some way and that will never happen. Government is not in the business of making money they only take and spend it.

Thanks for the post sparklingblue. While that RV date range is certainly possible, it doesn't make sense to me that the democrats would want to hold off the RV for the reasons given of "Tax and Political." If Biden, et al, were truly concerned about the Tax implications they would be better off pushing the RV date to 2011 when the tax rates will be so much higher. They will get a lot more of our money in 2011 so why wouldn't they just hold off until that point? If it RV's in Sept/October it's still in the 2010 tax year when rates are cheaper. Also, I'm not seeing how the late September/October RV date will help the mid-term elections as well as an early RV will. Yes, the situation in Iraq is important to us and we follow it every day but the majority of Americans don't know or really care about what's going on there except most want the troops out of there which is being done regardless of RV date. It takes a while for good things to trickle down through the economy and affect every day people. If the deficit will be helped by the RV it seems that the politicians would want to get the word out about that as early as possible and loudly as possible to ensure it gets out to as many people as possible. Another thing is the whole 'suitcase of cash' story. Since the IMF apparently controls when the RV happens and there's no government leader in Iraq yet, who in Iraq would Biden give the suitcase too? If the IMF says to RV Shabibi will pull the trigger. No suitcase of cash will prevent that. I don't know. I could be wrong but none of these reasons or stories make sense to me.

Quick update... Called a friend from another international firm that works on major construction sites throughout the world and mostly in third world countries. He said it is common to always have the country pay in the contractor's own country currency. It is something called currency risk and helps to avoid substantial currency fluctuations in their currency. Obviously it goes the other way too. That country may not want to pay a premium if it goes up too much. Sometimes they work out agreements that if it goes up more than 10% or so that adjustments will be made. It is also entirely possible that a corporation may see opportunity in the host country's currency and will elect to be paid in it sometimes too. Free money he says. This kind of debunks my last sentence in my post about making the contractor convert the currency. Should've waited...

Weren't they supposed to announce a big surprise to the Iraqi people? Did I sleep Through it? When I was a bouncer I had a lot less problems telling drunk, beligerant, combative people to SIT DOWN!!!! This is just a rant and I don't want to offend any body but those idiots over there would argue over who won the camel race even if the second place rider crossed the finish line 2 days later. sheesh!!!! enough already just make your annoucements and get on with the formation of the GOI. I would say that we should all sign a petition for them in favor of taking a seat but they would just assign a ministry to evaluate it. Then they will ask for 15 days to release there findings and 20 days after they were supposed to release there findings they would ask for another 15 days. Quit wipping your buts with the dinar, revalue it so you can afford to buy some Charmin, and if it will help you decide faster I will over night a roll of it to you. Al- Maliki you lost so get off the pot it's Allawi's turn. We should have a rant forum LOL!!!!!!!!

I have been with BoA since 1986. And I know my banker very well. I have also been at this dinar stuff for almost 6 years now.......................This is what I do know..............1st post.........in a rumor thread............about a bank in the US taking dinar as a depost...............=......... not only BS but is just not even in the realm of the truth..........I HATE WHEN KIDS ARE OUT ON SUMMER BREAK! Personally, I am sick of all the Obama bashing, Bush bashing and bashing of the government in general. Can we please focus on why we all are really here? I thought we wanted information about our dinar investment. At least that's why I come to this site. I'm starting to believe that I made a mistake in joining because all you people want to do is see how many agree with your right wing ideals. It is a waste of time. My feelings are this ---> In order to use this for political gain you would need the RV before October. The trickle down affect of the RV will take longer than a month in my opinion. So I am not buying the fact this will help politically in the USA. I do however think the RV will be in or around October …. I also do not think our government wants the average Joe to know how they are going to wipe out US debt. So I am of the opinion they will make it look like Obama policy erased the debt. In order for this to work it will need to look like it happen over the next few years. I could be wrong but a sudden decrease in the debt would require some explanation to the people of this country. From about 36,000 flying hours in 2005, the Predators are expected to log 66,000 hours this year over Iraq and Afghanistan . The MQ-9 Reaper, when compared with the 1995-vintage Predator, represents a major evolution of the unmanned aerial vehicle, or UAV. After watching this unfold for several years, I'm nearly certain at this point that if this doesn't happen almost immediately after the formation of the Iraqi government, we might as well glue the dinars to the wall to make interesting wallpaper for our friends to laugh at. We've been hearing excuse after excuse for more than a year now as to why it hasn't, and when it will happen - all of them wrong incidentally. The truth is that it needed to happen at least 6 months ago, if not longer, and the delays have done nothing but cause additional financial problems throughout the world. IF the RV is real, and we certainly hope that it is, the U.S. is not going to be able to delay it for anyone's conceived political gain, nor would they want to. I think it will happen sooner so they can get as much public exposure on their achievements (haha) in hopes of helping them on the elections. I will be voting all of the incumbents out anyway. For any of you interested, I wanted to understand how a company working in Iraq gets paid by Iraq. The reasons are obvious. I had a very brief email to an Investor liaison in a large international corporation that has a project or two in Iraq. I do not know this person and approached my general question as an investor in his company. Take of it what you like. It added insight to my research in our Dinar investment and so I thought I would share it. I see no need to disclose who it was and to bug him or anyone else with further questions. Believe me, we take a very careful look at the risk associated with any potential job before we pursue it. In this case, the job will be executed by our office in the U.K. and so, per standard practice, we will be paid in pounds sterling. Jobs like this are typically done on a reimbursable basis, meaning that we bill the client monthly for the number of man-hours that have been devoted to the project. As a general rule, reimbursable contracts carry a reasonably low risk as compared to lump-sum/fixed-price contracts. Hope this helps. Regards,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I think the key is that some of these contracts are structured as reimbursable and that it varies per project. Reimbursable are billed monthly to limit risk in case they need to bail quickly for security or financial reasons. He specifically mentions man hours and not for the fixtures themselves. A lump sum contract is entirely different. Perhaps there could be more leverage/influence by a corporation with a government if the project need and fulfillment commitment were substantial and important enough to that country? I don't know. Guess we will see. I take from it that Iraq does pay in the contractor's country currency and not necessarily in IQD. This same principle should apply to repaying IMF debts and should put to bed the notion that they required payment only in an internationally recognized IQD. When the currency revalues it will be because it helps Iraq and the citizens. Paying for redevelopment projects helps both and is as good of a reason to RV as any. Wouldn't it make more sense though to RV and make it internationally recognized and make the payments universal for all projects? Make the contractor worry about converting to their preferred currency on their own accord through normal means. Thoughts? Drox

I really like Breitling's posts and some of his theories. However this one I don't entirely agree with as far as putting off the RV for political purposes. Here's why: 1) If the dems were going to use this as a grand stage and milk this for the elections in November, it would make sense to get started much earlier. Not 30 days away from election day They need the time to get the word out and let Americans feel (financially) the RV. 2) The entire world is involved with this investment in iraq including power houses China, Europe etc. Delaying it to give some dems an advantage in November would not sit well with other world powers. 3) The White House and Biden have already acknowledged the Bush administration's strategy as sound... so this theory that they're going to steal credit for this is a bit absurd. Most Americans are not that stupid. 4) The people of Iraq need this more than anybody... delaying it risks civil war and future stability with only 50,000 troops staying behind. While this investment may take until the fall to RV... it won't be due to any political delay by the US. That's just political propaganda! Fingers are still crossed it's by mid August

I know this is a rumors site, I have to say this and the people who read this will know what I am talking about or who, I have read many post, lots of bashing,people saying we spend to much time on this board,posting nonsense......Well I want to say shame on them, there are some great people on this site.....A few months back I was laid off from my job of many years, I was crushed, was afraid to talk to my own family, even tho I new it was not my fault , I felt like I let them down, how could I explain it, well I came to this board and told everyone......The outpourring of support brought this man to tears, so many good hearts that touched my soul will never be forgotten.It bothers me to see the rude and unthoughtfull things people say.Please understand we all have the same intrest, thats why we are members, so I just want to say thank you, god bless you all....Even if this never happens, you have helped this person through a very tough time, peace.

They found this out and wanted to know in detail about how he would benefit from this. The reasons they were given when acquiring this information, and when it was going to happen in this time frame were surrounding these two subjects, “Tax and Political”. This is amazing because you and I have talked about this based on your Intel for months, but we could not figure out why. Also I talked to one of my good friends this AM, and his best contact has always stated the same thing Oct 17th or just before. I consider these contacts the best that I have. One of the questions I have is, if Biden really did have a suitcase full of cash, then why would he need to pay any one off if they were about to RV? That made no sense to me at the time I received that information. Prospects of Iraqi blocs meetings in Erbil AK News - Thursday, July 22nd 2010 @ 3:02 PM Erbil, July 22 (AKnews) – The second meeting between the leaders of the Iraqi parliamentary blocs due to take place in Erbil ahead of the second parliamentary session is perceived differently by Iraqi politicians. The blocs are to meet next Sunday in Erbil but how many leaders would attend the meeting is yet known, said Haydar Mula, the Spokesman of al-Iraqia bloc led by Iyad Allawi, on Thursday. "The initiative by the Region's President, Massoud Barzani, to invite all the parties to gather in Erbil is a testimony for his determination to accelerate the formation of the next cabinet and to rescue Iraq from the current political vacancy ", he said. "Thanks to Kurdistan Factions Alliance (KFA)'s initiative, the issue of forming the government seems to be solved", he noted, appreciating Barzani's stance in his regard. According to Mula even before the first session of the parliament on June 14 the Iraqi political players were invited to take their negotiations to Erbil but some blocs under the pressure from the neighboring counties refused Barzani's call. As for the allocation of the three key Iraqi posts, the Spokesman of al-Iraqia stated "If the State of Law Coalition (led by the outgoing Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki) compromises for the prime minister position, maybe the blocs can come to terms with each other". Yet, Mula was of the opinion that the coalition would not back down from its demand, stressing that aside from coalition's conciliation for the post there would be no other political options to speed up government formation. On the other hand, Salah 'Obeidi, the Spokesman of Sadr Movement, led by Muqtada Sadr and allied with Iraqi National Alliance (INA), the third major parliamentary bloc, said that the leader of the movement would attend the meeting along with the other leaders, noting that it is the first time the leader of Sadr Movement visits Erbil "Though the political parties still confer but it is unlikely for them to work out an agreement in a near future", 'Obeidi said. Sadr Movement Spokesman blamed the blocs for the delay in government formation, hoping that they can resolve their disputes within the short time they are left with. "The parties seem to approach each other but it is difficult for them to come to terms on Sunday's meeting", 'Obeidi declared. Izzat Shabandar, a member of the State of Law Coalition pointed the finger at al-Iraqia list, blaming the bloc for the delay in constituting the next cabinet. "If al-Iraqia had nominated its parliament speaker candidate, we would not have been in this political limbo in Iraq", Shabandar said, advising al-Iraqia to forget about the prime minister position. On June 6 both Shiite blocs of INA led by Ammar al-Hakim and The State of Law Coalition merged, forming a new bloc called National Alliance. On July 10th their new alliance was formally declared. "INA and the State of Law Coalition will name their single prime minister candidate in a near future", he concluded. As the largest parliamentary bloc by wining 91 seats Al-Iraqia insists on its right to be entitled to from the new government. While the National Alliance of Maliki and Hakim may beat out the bloc for if they remain united they can become the largest bloc. The controversy over the largest bloc stems from the diverse interpretations by the Iraqi Federal Court of a constitutional article. The largest bloc might be the one which has secured the majority of the votes in the elections or the one formed after the elections out of the unification of two or more independent blocs. We all know that we have been hinging on the formation of the government or at least the seating of it. We know how crooked the officials and GOI has been. But I say that this is comming to a close within the week. RV…. in August. Hopefully earlier in August. However Ramadan will not effect when the RV happens. The rest of the world does not participate in this event only portions. This is a worldwide issue. As I have said before, the GOI is not going to be corncerned as much with payments to creditors, suppliers, or whiners that say they are owed money (Not trying to make fun of them, the people or in a bad circumstance), so the inferrance that they will be sure to pay GE on time is not a clear indicator of an RV. They will not pay them, end of story. There will be late fee associated with the payment when they do have the money and this late fee will be negotiated away. Now with seating of Government this should come very soon. I would now even lean to say within 2 days we will have concrete names and agreements to be able to move forward. This comes in light of the meeting with Sadr who is strong in the INA. the Sadrist and ISCI was basically the strength of Maliki since SOL only recieved 89 votes and Allai beat him. Well they don’t like Maliki. I don’t think some like Jafaari. They dont even like Allawi, but according to Sadr, Allawi makes the most sense overall and we have to look at the fact that Allawi’s platform is one of conssessions for everybody. He is promising to include everybody. The key words for Sadr is that “the meeting was “FRUITFUL”, meaning that there was something that was born from this meeting. Something tangeable. It is very akward to me but Sadr seemed to make a lot of sense in my opinion and was still painfully honest in his display of hatred for the Americans. Hey, I trust this guy. Sadr big concern is that he doesnt want the US/UN to force their hand which could ultimately leave them out of power completely. He and many others understand that if Allawi is PM that they will at least get to share in some of the decision making and power but it is obscure of what will happen if the UN has to decide. Within the next two days, look for a legitamate alliance between INA, the Kurds, and the List with the the three main posistions in place as called by Allawi (Allawi, Talibani, and HAqusotha whatever as speaker) It is possible that the same day of the seating or acceptance that the RV may happen. It will not be a waiting process because everyone has agreed on Iraq meeting conditions of lifting the chapter VII, (although they didnt but this is more about the global economy now, not ethics ) Look for this to happen all in one day. I know I have said that the UN will step in and it will happen before but this was prior to the meeting with Sadr. Now I have to retract my words and give a date of RV NLT Aug 3rd. I believe it will be before then.

Haydar Mala, the Spokesman of al-Iraqia list, led by Iyad Allawi, speaking to AKnews on Thursday said that in the past four months the government confined itself to passing on some files, most of them suspected to be beyond government's authority to ratify, and the new parliament should review them. "The executive institutions of the government are still in effect with full authority and the delay in government formation is in their interest as right now the government's performance is not evaluated by the parliament or the presidency council", he added. "The ministries are outdated and constitutionally have no authorities because 30 days after the general elections in the country the chosen lawmakers should have met to name the parliament speaker and his two deputies", said the political commentator, Tariq Harb, expanding on the reason for the independence of the government from the council of ministers in taking decisions. "Later on, the president had to be elected by a majority vote and he would also entrust the head of the winning parliamentary bloc to from the new government in 30 days but it is four months that the current government is outdated", he added. The new parliament has the right to review the performance of the former government, provided that the majority of the lawmakers back the call, according to Harb. The Iraqi parliamentary elections took place on March 7 and on 26 the same month the results were announced.
