  1. Enorrste Conference Call Q & A - Outside Source - 6/2/2010 June 3, 2010 · Posted in DDT - CHATS / POSTS highlander -> Supreme court said it is the single largest block that was elected gets chance at government. highlander -> This pulled the rug out from under malaki highlander -> Un said that is bullpucky and if you go down that path you will be under chapter 7 for another 19 years. highlander -> US backed this up highlander -> Allawi has stated he will begin serious negotiations next week highlander -> that would be the 6th and the first parliament meeting on the 10th highlander -> that means Allawi needs to get going to have everything in place by the 10th highlander -> Malaki is still posturing and trying to threaten that wars will break out but E thinks Allawi will get this resolved highlander -> he has plenty to getover the 163 seats needed to form the government highlander -> What we are gong to see in his opinion starting on sunday they are going to try and sew this up in 3 days. highlander -> they will go into the meeting on the 10th which is called to order by the oldest member of parliament which happens to be from Allawi party. highlander -> Bruise I can’t keep up with him! SSO_Scooby -> highlander ..do the best you can plz ur doing great tina ->highlander you wnat me to help tina -> you do question tina -> i will do answer highlander -> He reiterates that Allawi has stated that he will get rv done asap and we should see very near next thursday highlander -> tina yes\ ░░ START OF Q & A SESSION ░░ >Question: What is your longest guess and a date for the rv or ri? > Answer: June 15th. Absolute date would be june 30th. Shabibi said we will rv the currency in the near future Probably by the 15th please don’t take that date to heart. it is just an opinion. yes, and that many Rv have taken place on the 15 and IMF does their thing too > Question: how long will the chinese wait to raise the value of the VND > Answer: we have an article that said china was uging the dong to rv. he suspects that Iraq is posed to do this and they are posed to do it with Iraq and if allawi come in it will happen. he doesn’t believe it will be ahead of the dinar but if it did great for us! dont sure which will happen but they might not double dip E posted an article about Vit PM wants and RV. I don’t think that is an issue. the incomming PM will not be concern with any political issue.. anyone that is PM will benefits it was clearly stated of the 3 conditions; fair election, certified election, and he forgot the 3rd (Ed. Note: Approve the 2010 Budget) > Question: any thought on what the dong could rv at? > Answer: well only information is from terry and it is .06- .21. but in the final analysis.. they want to stay in line with china. china is in control. and most likely it will be around .06. **please note that while asking this question the caller shared some intel they had received from Iraq: “person just got off a call and the some of parliment has been sworn in. it will show up in gazzette. it is suppose to RV on the 8th per caller.. can’t give out caller” > Question: can the rv happen at the same time as the pm position is being filled? >Answer: the rv can happen at anytime from now to 15th and they are ready go to.. they want all of them to get this done > Question: What is the rate range we are looking at? > Answer: yes the rate will be around 3.22 because of the articles and recommendation to CBi.. to reinstate. with growth and economy it may be higher like kuiwait and Iraq is a proud contry.. and they might do it as a compromise.. and to avoid a major drain of employment they will work together. they will come out with a rate that is sustainable. they will not comeout low. > Question: what is the actual process of an rv coming from Iraq? Would it be an overnight process or what? >Answer: Insecure Due 2 Little Weiner Syndrome had a post that they will make an in country then 2 weeks later contry wide.. but that will not happen.. the country can’t do that. he(Enorrste) does not see anything else happening but an world wide RV > Question: How can the reinstate at the rate of 3.21? >Answer: it is a new currency … but it was devauled to get ride of saddam’s money. but once they can get back into control.. the will revalue and lift chapter 7. the devalued the money to remove cash flow from terroist. they can support a lot higher but the budget states 3.22 per Terry. It was a 7 year plan and shabibi said earlier this year they were 50% done. that leaves them removal of the large bills and then RV. they have been distroying bills. as these big bills come in they will destroy.. > Question: do you think that they could have pushed malaki out earlier than they did? > Answer: well i think that both the UN and USa it is important to appear we are not running the country.. they are totally fustrated with him.. and he is playing all his cards.. he has not done anything illegal. but it is democracy at work. he (Enorrste) posted information in forum about other country changing Pm and government all with in week and Iraq cant get er done becuase of Maliki but he is in a tight corner and if they get a chance to boot him out they will. iraq does not want him again. they ony have electricity in the nice areas for like 5 hours a day. he had his chance and he didn’t do it right. if Allaiwi come in. they will be doing good in the country. everyone will have water and food. >Question: Is there any truth to them being able to RV in country and then us? > Answer: No, because they need to be internationally recognized and they can’t do that if they tried to do an in country. It has never been done in history that way. it will be available to all at the same time is his (enorrste’s) opinion. the only delay would be if they did it on a Friday our time we might not be able to get to a bank until Monday. > Question: wanted to know.. his (the caller) wife gets info from him (******). based on intel that comes and goes.. now that we have ratification.. do you think we can get real information and just intel? ****** has on his site .86 > Answer: In regards to the .86 cents rate it is based on an article on xe.com. The man that wrote it combined 2 articles and then put his opinion on it. the problem with that is that the current value of the dinar is 1170 and you could say it would rv at 1.17. the CBI never said anything about moving the decimal point 3 positions. they said they would remove the 000 notes. intel is bogus and none of it has come true. E has based all his theories on research. he has posted articles stating that the intention since 2003 was to re-value the currency back to its original rate and then remove the large denomination notes. they have had an agreement in writing with the IMF stating the same thing for 2 years. Problem is the Iraqi government is as fickle as can be specifically malaki. malaki has been holding RV as a carrot for chapter 7. We are starting to see transparency coming out concerning the RV again and that is good.

  2. Member "REPUTATION" Number <Iraq: Dinar Vets> Hi Everyone, Recently in a post, K98nights was asked a question about the "Reputation" number and how it was calculated. He gave a good answer (but I can't find it to post here). It is really a good question, and one everyone who reads or posts here in DinarVets should understand. Essentially, as I understand it, each member is permitted a specified (limited) number of votes daily. Whenever you read a post, and feel it is a good article, or it is good research by the poster (even if it is negative information), or want to commend the author - you can select a (+) which adds a number to someone's reputation. You can add a post and remark on the article as well (ie: thanks, good info, good analysis, etc). Also, If you are commended by someone (with a post in the thread) after you posted a good article, you can thank them by a new response post in the thread or with a (+)....or both if you wish. CONVERESLY, if someone posts a foolish remark or bashes someone, you can select a (-) which reflects in their Reputation Number. As I understand it (by observation) you will also get a (+) for each new Thread you start - after a determined time (I suppose, to be approved as an acceptable post). If it's a well researched article but contains negative information you don't like, you should post a reply, but not select (-) because you don't like the info IMHO - because the poster is passing on information for your benefit (good or bad), so don't penalize him/her for the post. You can give them a (+) or no grade if this is the case. These are the guidelines, as I understand them from my observations. Each of us helps determine someones reputation. So, don't pass on the (+) button if you like the post, but you can also add a post in the thread with any remarks you might have. If you make good comments or give a good analysis regarding someone's post - as a follow-up post in the thread (as we often see from guys like DROX or KENT, and many others), you can also receive a (+) from others in acknowledging your contribution. It's a great system - but remember, you have a limited number of (+/-) each day. ATTENTION ALL MODS: Please add to this post as you see fit, and feel it is appropriate to expand on this topic. God bless all of us in DV, our troops, and Iraq & its people...! RON PS: You can also vote on the article using the stars in the upper right hand corner of each Thread.

  3. Sunni bloc declared victor in Iraq election June 3, 2010 · Posted in DDT - NEWS Associated Press BAGHDAD – A Sunni-backed secular alliance that challenged Iraq’s top Shiite leadership in parliamentary elections won a Supreme Court ruling Tuesday sealing its narrow edge over its closest rival. The court order, which cannot be appealed, begins a 15-day countdown for seating the legislature nearly three months after its members were elected in the March 7 vote. It still could take weeks for the parliament to select a prime minister and government ministers, raising fears that extremist groups may incite major violence by exploiting security gaps in the wake of Iraqi political deadlock and U.S. troop withdrawal. After a barrage of ballot recounts, charges of fraud and other legal challenges, a Supreme Court review concluded that initial election results awarding 91 seats to the secular Iraqiya alliance were “reliable,” Chief Judge Midhat al-Mahmoud told a news conference Tuesday. Iraqiya is led by Ayad Allawi, a former prime minister and secular Shiite, and is heavily backed by Iraq’s once-dominant Sunni Arab minority. It won two more seats than the State of Law coalition led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. None of Iraq’s major political coalitions captured an outright majority in the 325-seat legislature.

  5. The Coming Resignation of Barack Obama By Peter Ferrara on 6.2.10 @ 6:09AM Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection. I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership. Is the President Above the Law? Watergate was supposed to have established that Presidents are not above the law. If that is so, President Obama may have to resign for breaking the law in the Sestak affair. Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) is now the Democrat nominee for the Senate seat held far too long by Arlen Specter. President Obama induced Specter to switch parties and give the Democrats their very temporary, 60 vote, filibuster-proof majority, in return for endorsing him for reelection and promising him no opposition in the Democrat primary. But Sestak had already announced that he was running for the seat, and he refused to get out. Two week ago, Sestak defeated the unprincipled, opportunistic Specter for the Democrat nomination, continuing the perfect string of everyone who Obama endorses and campaigns for going down to defeat. For months now, Sestak has publicly claimed that President Obama tried to keep his promise to Specter by offering him a high-ranking administration appointment if he would get out of the race. The rumor is that Sestak, formerly an Admiral, was offered appointment as Secretary of the Navy. The problem is that a federal statute explicitly provides that it is a federal felony, punishable by up to one year in prison, to attempt to bribe a candidate with a federal job, or anything of value, to influence an election. As Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) has indicated, the White House is now engaged in a coverup that is only making matters worse. Former President Bill Clinton is now claiming that he carried the offer to Sestak of an appointment to an unpaid position on a Presidential Advisory Board in return for dropping out of the race. But that story is not plausible because as a sitting member of Congress he could not have legally served on such a Presidential Board. So is the White House now lying to the American people about the matter? Moreover, indirectly offering the job through former President Clinton still violates the statute, as does the offer of an unpaid position. That is why Issa, Mark Levin, and others are saying that what the White House is publicly admitting still amounts to a federal crime, which is an impeachable offense. Democrats are going to have to decide if they really believe that presidents are not above the law. Presently, one reason to vote Republican for president is that Republican presidents are subject to the rule of law, but Democrat presidents are not. Misfeasance or Malfeasance? But the Sestak affair is just the early breeze of the gathering political storm that threatens to envelop President Obama. A mysterious explosion over six weeks ago in a deep sea oil well a mile below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico continues to gush oil to this day, heading for Gulf beaches and fisheries. The White House says the President held a meeting on it in the Oval Office on Day One. But we have not heard a word on what was done in that meeting 44 days ago, other than develop political talking points. Democrat talking head Kirsten Powers, writing in the New York Post on May 27, explained what should have been done: "Turns out the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration back in 1994 drafted plans for responding to a major Gulf oil spill, a response called 'In Situ Burn.'…The idea was to use barriers called 'fire booms' to collect and contain the spill at sea -- and then burn it off." Powers cites former federal oil spill response coordinator Ron Gourget as believing "this could have captured 95 percent of the oil from the spill." But, Powers writes, "the Administration's chief response so far was to send out Interior Secretary Ken Salazar to do his best impersonation of a totalitarian thug, proclaiming that the government would 'have its boot on the throat of BP.'" It is too late for the fire boom plan now, with the oil spreading across the Gulf. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal quickly developed another plan to build temporary sand barrier islands off the coasts to absorb the oil and protect fragile wetlands and fisheries. The law requires federal approval for such activity. But perhaps because Jindal is a Republican, the hyperpartisan Obama Administration has failed to even respond to his proposal first made a month ago, except to say that it is studying the idea, while the oil starts to wash ashore. What President Obama has done instead is to suspend all offshore drilling in the Arctic, at least until the causes and solutions to the Gulf spill are discovered. No applications for drilling permits in the Arctic will even be considered now until 2011. Drilling scheduled to begin this summer under already issued Alaskan leases has also been halted. Investor’s Business Daily explains how this punishes the American people, saying on May 28, "Alaska's Chukchi Sea holds more oil and gas than anyone thought – 1,600 trillion cubic feet of undeveloped natural gas, or 30% of the world's supply, and 83 billion barrels of undeveloped oil, 4% of estimated global resources. You can be sure the Russians won't be as reluctant." Nor will the Cubans and their Chinese partners expected to drill in the Gulf of Mexico off of Florida's coasts as well, just as the Brits and others have not been reluctant to drill in the stormy North Sea. Moreover, President Obama has already begun to use the crisis to renew his political push for federal cap and tax legislation that will cripple the economy with arbitrary, unnecessary, soaring, energy cost increases. Does he plan to hold any future drilling hostage to passage of this legislation? In the response to Hurricane Katrina, federal law specifically provided that the then Democrat Governor of Louisiana and Mayor of New Orleans were in charge. The federal and FEMA role was to "support…state and local assistance efforts" with the necessary, primarily financial resources. Nevertheless, in the days after the hurricane, President Bush's federal government was the only functioning authority, as the Coast Guard rescued 30,000 people off of rooftops. Hundreds of school buses that could have been used to whisk those people out of harm's way were left ruined under water due to Mayor Nagin's inaction in response to federal hurricane warnings. The partisan Governor acted only to deny and delay President Bush's control over the state's national guard for political reasons. But the Gulf oil spill emanates from federal waters, which means President Obama is directly in charge, not state and local officials. And his derelictions are losing his own supporters. Democrat Powers writes, "If he promised us anything, Obama promised us competence. Instead, we've gotten the Keystone Cops." As Peggy Noonan said of the Democrats in last weekend's Wall Street Journal, "In time -- after the 2010 elections go badly -- they are going to start to peel off. The political operative James Carville, the most vocal and influential of the President's Gulf critics, signaled to Democrats this week that they can start to peel off. He did it through the passion of his denunciations." Therein lies the beginning of the end. That end will be greatly accelerated if any email, document, or other serious evidence turns up indicating that President Obama or his cronies delayed the federal response in any way because they thought the spreading spill would advance their political agenda. Or if any evidence arises that Obama failed to respond to Jindal for partisan political reasons. Geometric Downward Spiral Moreover, all of this is just what's happening now. What leads me to predict President Obama's early political demise are his numerous, enormous vulnerabilities to further adverse developments, threatening a geometrically accelerating downward spiral, for him politically, and for America substantively. Now and for the next six months, we will be enjoying the high point of the Obama economy, the tippy top of the Obamanomics, Keynesian, roller coaster. If Art Laffer's Coming Crash of 2011 arrives next year, or if the economy just dips into another downturn, President Obama no longer enjoys the political base to survive it. With African Americans suffering Depression-level unemployment for over a year now, even that most solid of all political bases will weaken and waver in the face of a renewed downturn. Under the President's leadership, Congressional Democrats continue to pile more and more taxes on the investment necessary to create jobs and prosperity, "the most punitive tax rates on investment income since the late 1970s," as The Wall Street Journal reported on May 27. Even before Obama and the New Left takeover of Washington, the top 1% of taxpayers were already paying more in income taxes than the bottom 95% combined, as the Tax Foundation has accurately reported based on official IRS data. But this is not enough for the Obamunistas, who are justifying still higher taxes saying the rich must pay their "fair share," sort of like the last of the Romanov family had to pay their fair share. This punitive tax piracy is already starting to cause capital flight from the U.S., which will accelerate into an outright capital jail break from America next year. That will only hasten a renewed downturn, cripple job creation, and restore rising unemployment. The American people will not endure mismanagement of the now two-year-old financial crisis into an extended depression. Moreover, with the federal deficit already at a record smashing $1.6 trillion this year, a renewed recession next year will only cause it to soar further. How long can that go on before we arrive at Greece, where the markets refuse to buy the bonds necessary to finance the deficit, at least without soaring interest rates, which would only cause further economic decline. Meanwhile, the Fed has long been busily creating new economic bubbles with its overly extended easy money and zero interest rate policies. Monetary policies so loose that they should be considered pornographic are creating new vulnerabilities for the President, which will arise as sudden surprises involving new dollar, interest rate or inflation scares. When the Fed finally decides it must pull back, it has laid the foundation for the bubbles to burst again, further inspiring economic downturn. Gold is already higher than the S&P 500. That is a blaring warning sign of trouble ahead. Another blind spot for the President is energy policy itself. Those opposed to further offshore drilling need to end their hypocrisy and stop using the remaining oil and gas still available to the rest of us. Cap and tax is one of the biggest economic and political blunders in history just waiting to happen, a greater potential party builder for the Republicans than Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt combined. The American people for once will be unified in coming together to get Democrats out of office so that the obvious, huge, fat, unnecessary, cap and tax cost sitting on top of the American economy can be removed. As the price of gas climbs over $4 a gallon due to that and to President Obama's anti-production policies, the public riot demanding immediate change in leadership will surprise establishment Washington. Adding to all of this are the grave vulnerabilities posed by Iran successfully developing nuclear weapons, and President Obama's foreign policy weaknesses generally, which just invite war. Devilishly pursuing the opposite of every one of Reagan's policies, instead of Peace Through Strength, Obama is inviting War Through Weakness. If Iran launches a bloody attack on Israel, open calls for his resignation will be widespread. If Iran uses a nuclear weapon in that attack, or in any other attack against American interests, the Obama Administration will be over politically. The President himself has laid the foundation for his biggest political vulnerability of all. He won our votes and the election in 2008 with "the firm pledge" not to raise taxes "in any form" on anyone making less than $250,000 a year. Now he has already backed away from that pledge to the American people by creating a Presidential Deficit Commission, with "everything on the table," including tax increases on working people in direct violation of the pledge. The much discussed Value Added Tax (VAT) could not be a more direct violation of the no tax increase pledge, increasing the prices of everything working families buy. When the President directly violates the pledge that got him elected by openly endorsing such a tax increase, his resignation will immediately become a central political issue. The above problems and vulnerabilities will come together to increase the pressure for resignation to unbearable levels. As Peggy Noonan suggested, the key will be the Democrats themselves (though she has never said a word about possible resignation). After suffering grievous losses in this year's elections, they will have limited tolerance for the above described political pressures and chaos. With the very survival of their party at stake, the Democrats will buckle and desert President Obama, joining the calls for his resignation. At that point, with zero prospects for reelection, and unable to govern effectively, he will resign. http://spectator.org/archives/2010/06/02/the-coming-resignation-of-bara/

  6. FRANK 26 POST: 2 June 2010 - KTF Missions Good evening Family, “Oh my God……..He winked at me”. A paradigm shift is unfolding within the government of Iraq. It is historical and very intriguing in the pages of time ………..of this planet. Yesterday we went over the dates that would encompass our 1…..2……….3. I am eager to see what A has to say in his televised speech. It will be tonight at 10:30pm. I am hoping that it is the first two steps with step three coming this Sunday. I also said that on the 8th the GOI/CBI should hand over these three steps to the UN so that on the 15th the UN can totally release them from Ch7. To remove this bondage would allow the GOI/CBI to make decisions on their own without the permission of mom and dad. I was asked last night what percentage I gave for the RI to happen by the 8th or the 15th. I gave it a 65 to 77% chance…….along with some prayers. What would happen if for some stupid reason the GOI/CBI would once again blow this opportunity. Oh buddy………a big can of whoopee!!! Civil war is the first thing I think of. All the projects for 2010 which is already half gone would dissipate. I’m sure we can think of many other negative results……..but let me give you margin for errors. BTW……..what I am about to tell you is what I promised you yesterday but I want you to keep in mind I do not offer the following as a substitute to what I presented yesterday. In other words I am not offering a cop out……….I am only giving you options to consider and to lay it at the throne of our Father in prayer. If the homework that the GOI/CBI hands in to the UN on the 8th is not passing then Iraq will continue its sloth pace …….period. It’s that simple. Will they get extensions? There are no extensions……….show me one that was ever activated. Look at what they do and listen not to what they say. The Plan will always stand authoritatively over Iraq. So if we continue with no RI after the 15th because they received no CH7…………what’s the next opportunity for you and me? Well we know very well that the CBI wants to remove their 000’s by re-denomination. We also know that there have been a variety of mechanisms to reduce these M figures and that it has been in progress for a few years now. That’s huge Family. This action alone is self evident that they never intended to have a LOP. We know their goals for the IQD in 2010!!! They slowly have been removing them from circulation……….THAT’S HUGE !!! Remember when God said to us as His first commandment……..be fruitful multiply and “replenish” the earth? I always said to myself there must have been something before me that did not please God so He removed it and now He asks us to replenish it by loving each other. Well………6 years ago when I bought my 000’s I knew very well that they were going to have to eventually collect these from me again. BUT ……..they would have to be replenished by something else………..like lower denoms and fils. So with about 80 + % of the 000’s already collected …….IMO……we are inches away from the NECESSITY to replenish them. This country is running out of currency! Why have a Cadillac that looks good on the outside ……….with no engine on the inside? Iraq looks pretty good right now. We constantly hear it from every source. Just this year alone our own television media finally admitted that the sky is the limit in Iraq. So if they blow it this time around …….IMO……….they have until August 31st because they are stressed out on the idea that we are leaving at that time. 50,000 troops deservingly so come home! They are frightened of being left alone to protect themselves………it’s not an easy thing to do in the ME. So it would behoove them to get this thing done in the next two weeks……….because we are coming home. Let me give you another example. Nobody took care of TINK’s and my children they way we did. To leave them with a babysitter would have said a lot about our confidence in that babysitter. Nobody messed with the Green Zone. Nobody got near it except for the cowardly mortar rounds that rained down upon them. Very important strategic components of the war are well protected in the Green Zone. It’s a little village within the city of Baghdad. Well ……..it’s being handed over to the Iraqis as of today. THAT’S HUGE!!! The Plan would not allow this……without results. As you get closer and closer to the hunt it is best to be still or risk the kill. As speculators of this investment we have climbed the highest mountains and screamed in the direction of Iraq demanding that she RI’s her currency! As we get closer …….watch how those that were running out of patience (remember?) ………climb that same mountain. Yesterday the Vietnamese Prime Minister Dung asked the State Bank of Vietnam to instruct Commercial Banks to implement measures to reduce deposit and lending interest rates and to make appropriate adjustments of the EXCHANGE RATE between the Vietnamese Dong and foreign currencies. It is for this reason Family that I told you about the Dong two months ago. But IMO……..the visit that two made to China last week will control this impatientness. The IQD must go first……….but the longer it takes the higher the odds go up that the Dong will RV. China will eventually tell Vietnam when they can RV. China may growl a lot but trust me they need a good relationship with us. Yes the world owes them………..but they need the world to continue with their economic growth and most of all they need Iraq’s oil. In fact Iraq is not very pleased and complained today that it is UNFAIR that the barrel of oil is only at 70 + dollars. What did I tell you Family………..why is it so low when we have the largest natural oil disaster in the Gulf right now and we just finished a Memorial Day weekend that should have shot it up over $3 at the pump. Did I not tell you that punishment comes in many forms……..as I kept quiet. Anyways……..today China also threw in its two cents of impatientness with the following lines. A nice way of saying……….GET IT DONE !!! You are messing us up. "We believe that will see the next few days the state of progress and development in resolving the crisis, to form a government on the basis that the political blocs would be very embarrassing to the Iraqi people in terms of time and the formation of the government and the abandonment of the case of the narrow view and interests China and the indifference of the public interest in forming a government. WOWJAM………yes I carry the banner of 3.86 because I strongly believe this is a reinstatement as CH7 claims. Yes I am aware that the site you mentioned is saying that the IQD will come out at .83. If I end up with 830,000 per million dinars I will gladly say I was wrong. Then I will tell you that if you give it a week………there is no way it will stay at .83. The whales and sharks may have affected their M figures in the last 7 years but I promise you the Bears and Wolves of serious investors and traders will drive the rate up very quickly. It will be embarrassing enough for Iraq to tell its fellow Arab nations that they have finally returned to the stage of internationally recognized currency………..oh and by the way……….you guys are still much higher than our currency and yet we have all the oil! So whether they come out at .83 or $1 ………I really do not care because I know deep in my heart its true target rate is 3.86. I would ask you to keep in mind and study the steps when KU reinstated its currency. It came out small …….but didn’t stay that way for long. So the CBI wants business. There was a beautiful article that came out today from them saying that Iraq has about 370 Civil Banking Companies with up to 600 million in capital. Then they also told us that they had a 5 day meeting last week for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies along with the USD. LOL……well if I was an elected official that is about to be involved in 1….2………..3 then I am in complete favor that they do this so that I can get paid………because nobody works for nothing………in the ME. IMO…….this is huge! So Maliki is claiming that he is stepping down. This is called ……..saving face. The last two months was hard to face for him. I guess the draino must have worked. We can move forward now. Rumor has it that school desktops and many trees in Iraq have the following carved into them : “Kurds love A”…………followed by “TLA” ……….true love always. Okay so I’m kidding ……..but you get my point. This is huge!!! If you read the articles about what Iran had to say today then this is what I have to say: “Hey Iran……….you got milk………..I mean gold?” Anybody want to bet me a nickel on who the next Oil Minister is going to be? RICKLIBBY…………I love you Sir and it was wonderful to spend some time with you today although limited. I will make it a point to call you weekly so you can update me on your condition. All of us here at KTFM will pray for you daily. It is amazing the miracles of science nowadays. You will only get stronger with each day passing Sir. BULLDOG………That was a wonderful prayer that you did with me this morning. I may have been quiet ……..but I want you to know it was because of the knot in my throat. Thank you for praying for my TINK. AZMAG……….Hello to you too good friend. REJOICE………I C U 2………..LOL. PEACEBESTILL……….I loved your prayer that you shared with us. I love it when members fall on their knees and share with us their testimony. Thank you kindly. XBARBARIAN……..Many people have quoted me and some at KTFM have used my quotes for their signature. I was thrilled to see you join the ranks of others by doing the same with…………… ” Unusual Miracle”. Love you Sir. God said that He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning of His Word and the end of it have something in common and in common……….with us. I wish to talk to you about this tomorrow with your permission if time allows. I have nothing more to say as we sit back and wait for the 15th. So tomorrow I want to tell you why I believe that a baton is about to be passed to us for safekeeping. I love you all and I want you to consider letting go of your pain because ………..it’s not yours to keep. Jesus took it away from you when He died on the cross. LOL………and you thought you came here just for dinar intel. Many found God. Many learned to pray again and to just be courteous to another human being because it is pleasing in God’s eyes. But I wonder ………last Monday when I prayed on the Conference Call……..I told God that I wanted to look in His eye. IMO……..God has looked down at KTFM and looked each of you directly in your eye. I can’t help but to wonder did any of you notice : “Oh My God………He winked at …………You” God bless you all. My Christian love and Aloha. 8. Published: June 3, 2010 at 1:11 PM BAGHDAD, June 3 (UPI) -- Talks between two leading Shiite coalitions on forming a new Iraqi government hit a snag over the post of prime minister, leaders said Thursday. The State of Law coalition of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is in talks with the Iraqi National Alliance to form a unity bloc that would be four seats short of the majority needed to form a new government. State of Law lost to the secular Iraqiya slate of former interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi in national elections nearly two months ago. Sources close to negotiations between Maliki's party and INA said talks broke down because of disputes over the post of prime minister, London's pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat reports. Khair-Allah al-Basri, a member of State of Law, told the news agency objections to Maliki by lawmakers loyal to Moqtada Sadr were holding up the negotiations. Basri said that Sadrists were upset over Maliki's crackdown on the Mehdi Army in recent years. Sadrists, he said, needed reassurances that acts of war were over. Meanwhile, Jalal al-Din al-Saghir with the INA said talks have not yet reached a "dead end" despite the recent "difficulties." Iraqiya officials, for their part, said developments on a new Iraqi government could emerge as early as next week. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/Special/2010/06/03/Iraqi-government-talks-hit-snag/UPI-62661275585117/

  14. UNSC welcomes certification of election results in Iraq, calls for the swift formation of a government 3 June 2010 - 11:22 PM - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) formation of gov't UNITED NATIONS, June 3 (KUNA) -- The Security Council members on Thursday congratulated the Iraqi people and Government on the certification by the Federal Supreme Court of the March 7 parliamentary election results as another "important step in the political process" and called for the formation of a government as soon as possible. Council President Claude Heller of Mexico said in a statement to the press that the members also condemned the terrorist attacks that accompanied the electoral process, stressing that no terrorist act can reverse the democratic process in the country. The members emphasized, at the same time, the importance of the stability and security of Iraq for its people, the region, and the international community, and reaffirmed their commitment to Iraq's independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. "The members of the Security Council call on all political entities to respect the certified election results and the choices of the Iraqi people, and for Iraq's leaders to engage, as quickly as possible, in an inclusive political process to form a government that represents the will and sovereignty of the Iraqi people and their hope for a strong, independent, unified and democratic Iraq," he said. He added that the members commended Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission for its work in holding this "successful" parliamentary election, including the electoral appeals and complaints processes, and also commended the work of the Iraqi Security Forces to strengthen stability and security for the people of Iraq, including their "important" work to provide security and public order throughout the election process. The members condemned the recent terrorist attacks by those who sought to deny the voice of the Iraqi people by attempting to disrupt the elections and the government formation process through violence, and "stands in solidarity with the Iraqi people in the face of these unacceptable and deplorable attacks. " "The members of the Security Council reiterate that no terrorist act can reverse a path towards peace, democracy and reconstruction in Iraq, which is supported by the people and the Government of Iraq and the international community," Heller said. The council members finally commended the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the role played by the Secretary-General's Special Representative for Iraq, Ad Melkert, for providing technical assistance and support throughout the electoral process. Melkert welcomed in turn in a statement from Baghdad distributed here the Court's decision and described it as a "crucial step towards the formation of a government that will shape the country's future for the next four years." He also encouraged the Iraqi leaders to "move swiftly and work together to complete the formation of the new government through an inclusive process." http://www.kuna.net.kw/NewsAgenciesPublicSite/ArticleDetails.aspx?id=2092284&Language=en

  18. In the aftermath of WW2, the question was asked many times (and is still today), "How could the Germans have been so blind and stupid as to allow Hitler to come to power?" I believe we Americans now understand the answer. There was plenty of evidence of Obama's true colors and lack of American birth, before the election. Just as there was plenty of evidence of Hitler's true colors (Mein Kampf), and his non-German (Austrian) birth before he was made chancellor.

Politically, I couldn't care less if you agree with Obama's policies....It just irritates me no end when someone posts an obvious lie about Obama and no one questions it....just repeats it endlessly.... And, no, WSJ is no more balanced than World Nut Daily, which is where I suspect that most right wingers get their lies about Obama. And the Annenburg Foundation is as far right as it is far left.

  23. Rebuilding Iraq: The century’s deal 2 June 2010 - KTF Missions Post Iraq is blessed with natural resources. It has water, oil, gas and sulphur, among many others. It also has adequate human resources. All that the country needs now is safety and security, and others to believe in its future. Rebuilding Iraq: The century’s deal’. The headline, which appeared in an Arabic-language newspaper shortly after the 1990-91 Gulf war ended, summarized it all. Iraq, which has an abundance of natural resources, could offer investors numerous rebuilding contracts. This after the Americans had warned that they would, through the US-led multinational alliance, take the country back to the pre-industrial era. Twenty years later, the circumstances look different. But the story has not changed much. Lack of total security and stability today is still obstructing the needed normal flow of investments into Iraq from different countries, including Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Yet, this doesn’t negate the fact that Iraq is an un-utilized treasure for investments, say experts and economists. “Iraq: the prize that outweighs all risks,” was chosen as a title for a paper presented at a conference on doing business in Iraq that was held in Dubai recently. The situation in Iraq has changed a lot since the 2003 war. The whole political regime of the country was changed and it was torn apart. One of the characteristics of the grand “prize” is the fact that it has a “$600 billion (Dh2.2 trillion) investment requirement,” Luay Al Khatteeb, Executive Director at the Iraqi Energy Institute and author of the paper, explained. Other features include nationwide reconstruction, long-term opportunities, constitutionally pro-market economy and plentiful oil and gas. So far, the biggest chunk of investment money has been pumped into the more stable and secure northern region of Kurdistan. According to Iraqi Kurdish estimates, foreign direct investment stands at $12.5 billion. However, things have started to change slowly. Security improvement “At the beginning, the trend was to invest in Kurdistan because of the security situation. However, the rest of Iraq is equally important,” Hadeel Hassan, senior Associate at the Baghdad’s office of Al Tamimi & Company law firm, explained to Gulf News. The company organized the Dubai conference on Iraq. “The central government in Baghdad is indispensable and there are also [vital cities and areas, namely] Kirkuk and Basra,” she said. Both cities have giant oil fields that are essential to the Iraqi economy. “There are bigger and wider investment opportunities all over Iraq,” she added. With an average crude oil production of 2.45 million barrels per day, Iraq is the third largest OPEC producer. Iraq is also among the top five countries in terms of oil reserves. The country is also rich in phosphates and sulphur. Foreign investment in oil extraction is not allowed in Iraq. However, foreign investment can be made in other oil-related services. “Iraq is still the land of the century’s deal, and it will continue to grow,” Adnan Blebil, Director-General of the Iraqi Civil Authority, told Gulf News. “Today, we are looking for the necessities. The day will come when we will be looking for the unessential items, and the another day will come when we will be looking for the luxury things,” he added. With its nearly 30-million population, Iraq is a big market. It is also a “virgin” one. “All the country and all its economic sectors are virgin ones. Iraqi sectors need everything,” Blebil added. After the government implemented its “Law Enforcement Plan” in 2008, in which state security forces launched a campaign against illegal weapons and outlawed militias, the security situation started to improve. “Even the security companies that had a presence in Kurdistan started heading towards Baghdad,” Hassan said. Changing economic circumstances “A huge amount of investments are going into Iraq in the past 18 months,” Rob Tolley, Director of Dubai-office of United Insurance Brokers Ltd, (UIP) pointed out. UIP is among the insurance companies that are studying opening an office in Iraq in the coming few years, Tolley says. Yet the image is still not that rosy. Cost of protection and personal security could be many times over of what could be paid in other places other than Iraq. Knowing the country well is a must, according to security specialists. While suicide attacks and insurgent bombings have tapered off in the past few years, local residents point to the fact that the attacks still taking place target Iraqis, a sign the attacks are political. In the past, the attacks targeted foreigners. “Security is the capital of investment,” said Jawhar Al Fahel, representative of Salah Al Deen province, in the Iraqi National Investment Authority. Some projects carry a 10-year tax exemption, depending on the approval of the Iraqi Investment Commission. Under the commission’s rules the exemption is usually applied to large projects in sectors such as health and energy. But there are an increasing number of big foreign companies that are waiting for the right time to undertake projects in other parts of Iraq. Among them are UAE companies. UAE companies Two Emirati real estate and international investment companies, Al Maabar and Bloom, are close to signing contracts with the Iraqi National Investment Authority for two major housing projects in Baghdad and Karbala. In late October 2008, the Abu Dhabi-based real estate investment company Al Maabar announced its plan to launch a $10 billion Al Rasheed Compound project in Baghdad. The project will cover 1,250 hectares in the centre of the city. It comprises several key clusters including residential units, a commercial district, a technology centre, a hotel and hospitality district, health care and educational districts, and public facilities such as mosques and petrol stations. The company is backed by all four major Abu Dhabi developers: Aldar, Sorouh, Reem and Al Qudra. It was described at the time as the first real estate project on this scale to be undertaken in Iraq since the 2003 invasion. However, the cost of the project, which involves a mixed use complex comprising residential, commercial, health, hotels and entertainment, is expected to reach $20 billion, according to recent Iraqi press reports. Growing interest The Banks of Karbala project, a $28-billion project, will overlook Ar Razazah Lake, 15 kilometers west of Karbala, according to Iraqi press reports. Other UAE companies are eyeing a third project, “The City of the Future”, according to top investment officials. Several companies want to participate in the construction of 150,000 housing units as part of a project envisaging one million new houses nationwide, they added. The total cost of the projects is an estimated $70 billion. “UAE companies are the top companies investing in Iraqi real estate,” said Sami Al Araji, chairman of the Iraqi National Investment Commission. While UAE companies have also shown interest in other fields, Araji said, “Talks are still in an early stage with the Investment Commission,” and there will be announcements once results are reached. He also alluded to other sectors, including energy, communications and banks. While some UAE companies already have a presence in Kurdistan, the negotiations underway are “on giant projects all over Iraq,” Araji said. Air and trade links UAE airlines, meanwhile, have added Iraqi cities to their schedules and are planning more. The two major UAE airlines are increasing their services. Abu-Dhabi’s Etihad has daily flights to Baghdad, and Dubai’s Emirates plans to follow suit starting July 1. Before the end of the year, some reports predict, the budget airlines, Dubai-based flydubai and Sharjah-based Air Arabia, will join them. Already Iraq is the UAE’s second biggest Arab trade partner after Saudi Arabia and the 11th globally. UAE exports to Iraq jumped 41 per cent last year to $4.24 billion and Iraq’s exports to the UAE grew 952 per cent to $778 million, according to Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade. Shaikha Lubna last week led a UAE delegation of representatives of nearly 40 companies to the inaugural UAE-Iraqi Businessmen’s Forum, which was attended by many senior Iraqi officials. Shaikha Lubna said during her visit last week to Kurdistan that non-oil trade between the two countries increased 63 per cent from $3.79 billion in 2008 to $5.19 billion in 2009. Turkey is Iraq’s biggest trade partner, mainly Kurdistan, Al Fahel said. With a volume of nearly $9 billion, Turkey tops the list of exporters to Kurdistan. Ankara also accounts for nearly 55 per cent of foreign companies registered in the region. Asked about the importance of companies rather than governments in the field of investment, Khatteeb replied: “In developed countries, it is the market economy that leads. The private sector, and not politics, leads the developed countries.”

Did you know that it will make it nearlly impossible for any one to sell thier house and if they did it would cost them $1000's and more? You say what does cap and trade have to do with selling my house? Well read the bill you wont believe whats in it and the control over the air you breath. 30. Frank26 Post - 3 June 2010 - KTF Missions Good evening Family, I know the Memorial weekend is over with but somebody in Iraq forgot to turn the bbq pits down. Cough cough. The smoke is pretty thick……..as if someone splashed water on the hot glowing embers. Choke choke………..that’s some hot steam to breathe in. Wait a minute……….they don’t celebrate Memorial weekend in Iraq do they? LOL………of course not. So what’s with all the thick billowing clouds of smothering smoke? Why is it that when you and I find ourselves excited to learn of some meeting or event with the GOI ………..they act like a kid with a bag of candies? Remember when we were young and your best friend who daily plays with you ……..always looks for you……..all of a sudden is nowhere to be found? Because he doesn’t want you to ask him any questions………about his candy. So A was supposed to do a public broadcast yesterday…….then they tell us it was late last night……….then they tell us it will be today……..at 2 or maybe tomorrow. Unbelievable………..and here we go again. Well I’m sorry……..I don’t play that game. Keep your stupid candy because I know very well what you are doing and when you are done would you be so kind as to let the rest of us know? All we want to know is how are you doing with 1….2………….3. I will ignore all of the ships coming into your harbor. In fact I will pretend that it’s a normal everyday occurrence for your country. Keep your stupid articles and your candy because I have all the watermelon that I want. Sorry if I sound perturbed but you know what………I am. The candy is that you have already done 1 and 2. What so bad about admitting that………silly rabbits! Heck I would be proud to announce it……why all the secrecy? Do you think we are going to go out and buy more dinars? We are a pimple on the rear end of an African bull elephant. We mean nothing to you. You tell us yesterday that parliament will be seated by the 10th . Then you tell us today they will be seated by the 15th. Have I told you lately that I watch you more than I listen to you? You guys find more reasons to argue than to love. If Warka was such a bad thing for the banking structure of Iraq…..then why didn’t you deal with it years ago? Why embarrass this bank within your own infrastructure unless you are looking to drive out competition from other Iraqi banks. This attitude of my bank’s service products are better than your bank’s……is just going to be another ball of arguments that lead to ridiculous delays. Personally ………..I don’t want to listen to a single word you have to say because I know your true goals. In fact come with me as we approach the bench. Excuse me your Honor……..may I present a legal team’s interpretation of articles coming out from Iraq at the present time? May I present exhibit A? In fact your Honor it is the only exhibit I wish to present……”Trial Balloons”! Conscious / Baghdad / T. R 3/6/2010 6:24pm3/6/2010 6:24 pm Conscious / Tariq Harb: What was the statements from leaders of political blocs is a political trial balloons Legal expert said Tariq Harb said the change in the positions of parliamentary blocs is a political balloons meant to know the position of the parties and political blocs of these statements. He said the war in a telephone conversation with (Iraqi News Agency Information / INA) that it has issued statements from leaders of political blocs winner in the elections may only be a test balloons political meant to know the position of the parties and the location of these words and what the impact her and a trend. He added that the statement was made, in particular has lagged Dr. Iyad Allawi's attendance at the conference held in Sulaimaniya two days ago. Indicating that the authentication of the Federal Supreme Court moved the political parties to look at things look serious but the majority of political entities were attached to it to authenticate the Federal Court, as is the case with the Kurdistan Alliance. He pointed out that the issue has taken on new dimensions and dimensions real, especially that for the (15) days elapsed, including two days and invited the Presidency to the first session of the House of Representatives has become an urgent need, especially since the President and members of the Presidential Council before approval have been urging the ratification and to invite the House of Representatives to convene meeting, things became much closer and therefore would have to issue such statements. Stressing that all these statements can not be the only take the side of truth For example, the Iraqi List, agrees Dr. Adel Abdul-Mahdi, I think it's a media issue rather than a real issue because the Iraqi List, the leaders and senior leaders know that Adel Abdul Mahdi, has limited support in the list National Coalition since Sadr's movement supported the Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the remaining (17) of the Supreme Council will not change anything in the Iraqi List, particularly that Iraq needs to 72 seats in order to complete the (163) votes, the number of votes required to form a new political power Trial balloon From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A trial balloon is information sent out in order to observe the reaction of an audience. It can be used by companies sending out press releases to judge reaction by customers, or it can be used by politicians who deliberately leak information on a policy change under consideration. In politics trial balloons often take the form of an intentional news "leak" to assess public opinion. For instance, a company might announce they are going to release a new computer program in a year, and then read the press coverage for hints on whether or not the product will have appeal in the marketplace. If the coverage is favourable the money will be spent on development, but if not the project can be cancelled before using up resources. A trial balloon under the company's own name is somewhat risky; if too many are "floated" the company risks becoming known as the company that cried wolf, and can find itself being ignored completely. In addition, the company can find that the product being planned is unworkable, leading to the phenomenon of vaporware You see your Honor I wish for the court to issue a gag order on all articles coming out from Iraq until 1…..2………..3 is confirmed by the UN. I do not appreciate the fact that Iraq’s media has been sending out false articles fishing for human reactions. We are not to be used in any test what so ever ……..as guinea pigs. If they wish to know the Iraqi citizens feelings………try something new………..ASK THEM !!! By putting out false articles it only adds to further confusion of the GOI’s true goals. Her goals are honorable and definitely reachable. A Democracy does not hide the truth nor oppress it. It is for the people…..by the people and of those same individuals. A government must respect its citizens in order for its citizens to support its government. So your Honor……..we are not asking for jail time nor any form of punishment to the Iraqi media. But with all of their smoke gagging me………I demand a gag order. I told you yesterday Family that I did not want to talk about Iraq today because my team is fed up with the articles. When the smoke clears ……..we will talk again. To be honest Monday…..Tuesday and Wednesday……….we said a lot. For now no need to share………just simply stare. So let me tell you why I believe that the IQD is about to rise from its ashes. Besides the Marshall Plan repeating itself every 10 years in the ME to acquire oil and establish strategic air bases in these countries……….I also believe in God being the Alpha and the Omega. If you look at the beginning of His Word in the Alpha which is Genesis……..He speaks to us of Babel. If you look at the end of His Word in the Omega which is Revelations………He speaks to us of Babel once again. I do not believe this is a coincidence. The three Wise men did not arrive in Bethlehem with three camels. They crossed great distances across deserts following a star that took many months to lead them to baby Jesus. There were camels upon camels in this caravan filled with the three blue chip stocks of that time. Frankincense……….Myrrh and Gold. Mary and Joseph received this baton from the three Wise men. They were guardians of this treasure so that Jesus could fulfill his mission for God in his 33 years. We are about to be blessed ………..from the same area. From the Alpha to the Omega once again. This is a blessing for your family but in the same breath it is a blessing for God’s family. I do not wish to drop the baton. God has taken His Hand and raked us together at KTFM. We will go to the four corners of the world and knock L’s teeth out. We will make a joyful noise unto the Lord long before we get to these corners so that L can hear us and commence his running. We will build churches for Her Bride. We will teach each other proper stewardship as God has laid it out for us. When this blessing comes I have no idea if the Beast will be around but if he is……….I will have no need to kneel to it! I will be able to afford to take care of my family………but it must be with proper stewardship!!! There is the love of money and there is the need of money to accomplish the goals that you know were put in your heart by God. If I should go to meet God before He comes back for us…….I have no worries. But if He should come to earth before I leave this earth………I want Him to be proud of His children ……….that did not drop the baton. Many of you tell me you believe we are in the end times. I don’t worry about that and I honestly don’t even think about it. Throughout the history of this planet I can show you many times when it was the perfect example that trumpets were blown…….seals were broken…….and bowls were spilled. As a Christian I focus day to day on how to please God and take care of His children. Yet as a human ……….I have five senses that I do not ignore. Curiosity always has me wondering about many things. I cannot help but to look at the Gulf spill right now and take note that the chemicals they are using to clean this spill……..turn the ocean’s waters………to blood red. If this spill……which is the largest on our planet so far………continues then it will only be a matter of months before half or THREE FOURTHS of the world’s waters are contaminated with this color. Hmmm……….3/4ths of the oceans blood red………sounds familiar………but I don’t worry about it. I trust and obey in God. My apologies for not being with you last night. We had a small outage that lasted past midnight and I was not able to answer your questions. Tonight I may be limited again. We are going to meet with some families and share some time together. Our admins and mods always do a great job. By the way…..have you noticed that no one has been banned from KTFM in many months. I think that says a lot for our admins and mods and I wish to bow to them with great respect. God bless you all and BRASS will be with you for the next three days. Next Monday I will rejoin you and pray with you on our Conference Call. BRASS has asked me to sing “In the Still of the Night”. IMO………I agree……….that it’s time to do so. My Christian love and Aloha. KTF, Frank

  31. Jun 3, 2010, 19:59 GMT New York - The UN Security Council on Thursday urged 'all political entities' in Iraq to form a new government now that the country's constitutional court has certified results of the March 7 parliamentarian elections. The council issued a statement read by its president, Mexican Ambassador Claude Heller, which called the elections an important step in Iraq's political process to reaffirm its sovereignty and territorial integrity. It called on Iraqi political parties to respect the certification and Iraqis' choice for its 'leaders to engage as quickly as possible in an inclusive political process to form a government to represent the will and sovereignty of the Iraqi people and their hope for a strong, independent, unified and democratic Iraq.' The results ratified by the constitutional court on Tuesday showed that former prime minister Iyad Allawi's Iraqiya List won 91 seats in the 325-member Iraqi parliament, while current prime minister Nuri al-Maliki's State of Law coalition came in second place with 89 seats. Both Allawi and al-Maliki have claimed the right to form the new government. Allawi insists he has the right to form a new government because his party won the highest number of seats. However, al-Maliki claims he has the right to form the government after his recent alliance with the Iraqi National list. Together, they form the largest faction in parliament with 159 deputies. Yet, that number is still four seats short of a working majority. Neither side can agree on who will head the government. The Iraqi parliament would be expected to hold a session within two weeks to begin negotiations to form the new government. http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/middleeast/news/article_1560630.php/UN-Security-Council-urges-Iraqis-to-form-new-government

  33. Very true... and they're reaping what they sowed... unfortunately so are the rational intelligent hard-working Americans as well, who did not vote for him. When we are tapped out from socialism, just who are the Obama-ites going to steal from to fund their nation-destroying programs?? EVERYBODY can't be on welfare and foodstamps... SOMEBODY'S gotta work for a living to support all the social parasites... If things keep going the way they are now, you'll see Texas and other states with balls stand up for themselves and leave the Union behind just in order to survive. Then all the Obama-ites can flock to the socialist states and create their own 3rd world country... and have their beloved national socialist dictatorship. Sieg Heil and shyte... morons.

I've said all along, based on what my gut is telling me, that it's going to be somewhere between $1.85 & $2.15, and before you ask, here's my reasoning; High enough to get the ball rolling with improvements in the country and hold the BIG speculators at bay (we hope), but low enough to hopefully reduce the risk of hyperinflation. They don't need too much money chasing after too few products and goods.

  41. What about Obama's support for the new 9/11 GI Bill which allows for veterans to go to a state school and get a 4 year degree while also receiving money to help pay for their bills. This new GI Bill was a great improvement over the last one. There were a lot of people who opposed passing this bill, such as war veteran John McCain, who thought it would encourage too many people to get out of the military after their first enlistment was up. As if serving your country for 4+ years wasn't good enough, Republicans were in favor of only offering the new and improved GI Bill to those who retired after 20 years. So who's action in this instance were noble and honoring to the veteran's?

  43. Maliki orders withdrawal of bloc’s contests against election results June 1, 2010 - 06:50:38 - Aswat al-Iraq News BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the leader of the Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law) bloc, gave instructions to withdraw all the contests forwarded by his bloc against the recent Iraqi parliamentary election results, a source close to Maliki said on Tuesday. “Maliki’s instructions to withdraw all the contests submitted to the federal court aim to accelerate the endorsement of the election results,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. Hammam Hammoudi, a leading member of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC), had appealed to Maliki on Sunday (May 30) to withdraw contests against the legislative elections results in a bid to accelerate the formation of a new Iraqi government. A parliamentary election was held in Iraq on 7 March 2010. The election decided the 325 members of the Council of Representatives who will elect the Iraqi prime minister and president. The election resulted in a partial victory for the Iraqi National Movement (Iraqiya), led by former Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, which won a total of 91 seats, making it the largest alliance in the Council. The State of Law, led by incumbent Prime Minister Maliki, was the second largest grouping with 89 seats. The election has been controversial. On January 15, 2010 Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission banned 499 candidates from the election due to alleged links with the Ba’ath Party. Before the start of the campaign on 12 February 2010, the IHEC confirmed that the appeals by banned candidates had been rejected and thus all 456 banned candidates would not be allowed to run for the election. A recount of the votes in Baghdad was ordered on 19 April 2010. On May 14, the IHEC announced that after 11,298 ballot boxes had been recounted, there was no sign of fraud or violations. And European banks also participated in this policy, the fear, crazy debt securities backed by the government (does not require capital almost) available to be used for short-term loans in the European Central Bank. And, above all, through the end of this past week pumped leadership euro everything owned (with the consent of the United States, everything is owned by International Monetary Fund) in terms of liquidity, to resolve the problem, and applauded the market in the beginning, but people are now calculating the solvency core. And Greece is a financial disaster, completely, and under the IMF program, with the new Greece growth soon to get rid of the debt problem of them, will be the ratio of debt to GDP of Greece to 145 at the end of 2011, using the growth figures more realistic example, with low growth 12 per cent at the end of 2011 can reach the ratio of debt to GDP to 155 per cent, and at this level, and with the real interest rate of 5 per cent and the lack of growth, they need to a surplus of considerable initial 8 per cent of GDP to maintain the stability of the ratio of debt to gross domestic product. And Portugal’s status as bad about the same. In order to keep its stock of debt and continuous payment of interest on debt at 5 per cent, by the Department of a primary surplus of 5.4 per cent of GDP by 2012. With a projected primary deficit of 5 per cent of gross domestic product this year, you need to almost 10 per cent of gross domestic product for fiscal tightening. It is almost impossible to do this system of fixed exchange rate without causing great unemployment. Referred to Ireland as an example of the usefulness of that, but in spite of austerity, even the European Commission optimistic believes that the budget deficit, the Irish would be about 11.7 per cent of GDP in 2010 and 12 per cent in 2011, and unless there is a miracle in global growth, will address shortly door mechanism of the European stability. In the last week, noted economist William Buiter that Governments have the biggest incentives to defaults when you run a preliminary budget balanced (ie, after the large budget cuts) and still have a large government debt outstanding. This means the structure of incentives they would postpone a decision to default, which would make sense now otherwise. Considering the problems of incentives in the euro area, it is not surprising that he wants more countries to join – the requirement that only seem wise for several years, and have the countries that have governments wasteful, or weak financial systems, sources of great wealth. In general, encourages the system (the race to the bottom), led by governments in smaller countries eased the financial and credit standards to win re-election (or to enjoy a period of prosperity), have borrowed money from the least wasteful in the euro area. The Germans Mottaghvin, while enjoying less developed countries a period of prosperity, now over a period of prosperity and must be paid one of them in Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and possibly Italy something – or at least stop its borrowing restrictions. Do not have external financial support makes sense only if accompanied by reforms to the euro zone incentives. But the action last weekend opened its credit window to the European Central Bank and sent a clear message to creditors that: You can profligate lending to countries again without risk. In fact, undermine the actions of these emergency readiness of any government to address problems relating to the ability to meet its financial obligations, “This could have two ways now, to give euro zone countries on the rule of substantial fiscal policy (such as sovereignty over budget deficits) and the establishment of the organization of strong banking one , or they can be allowed to continue the system that there is (God of destruction) of other global rise to cycles of boom and bust and rescue operations, and in the first scenario will be left behind countries such as Greece at the end of the day, and in the end will bring Europe more debt intertwined – that the (lagging behind the euro area ) in general for payment, either by refusing to pay, or inflation.

  45. None of these coins are of legal tender right now.....until the CBI releases them out again it makes no difference that your able to get them....the CBI let them out in 2004 and then retracted them all realizing they are useless to have out especially in the market place because they have no purchasing power....when we see the release of these along with the other smaller denomination coins and bills from the CBI then we will be much closer to what we all have been waiting for but as of now they are not part of the Iraqi currency....

  47. Letter from Warka Bank May 28, 2010 · Posted in CHATS / POSTS Letter from Warka Bank – 3 Zero News “Null and Void” Here is a statement from Warka Bank (largest privately owned Bank in Iraq 120+ branches approx.) – as you can se the CBI is using the media for propaganda purposes in order to curb speculation – if any of the 3 zero stories held water the bank(s) would of course be officially notified – as per the letter from Mr. I. below they have not been notified of any changes. I deal with this bank and have several emails from him over the years – as per an earlier agreement we have, as a group, decided to keep his full name off the internet. If you deal with the bank or their ISX dept, you are fully aware of his name and title – he is quite respected and revered as a true professional for Warka Bank and it’s ISX dept. Note – From Mr I of Warka Bank “The CBI has not provided official written notification to the banking sector and banks regarding this matter thus it is considered null and void by the Iraqi banking sector and this is the general law noting that we contacted the CBI regarding this matter where they did not provide anything official to comment on simply stating that this matter is under study and has been so for the past few years nothing more nothing less. The value the currency, shares, property…etc will be set in accordance with the value of IQD applied and affected by the CBI in accordance with the law where the value of the IQD is set in accordance with the value they set and this standard general practice. If a revalue takes the entire IQD will be revalued in accordance with the rate the CBI sets. From our prospective we can not comment and will not comment any further unless the CBI officially announces that the removing of the 3 zeros or revaluation will actually take place by providing the banking sector written documentation where this would be the standard general verification and confirmation currently practiced.”

  48. I have always been an RV guy ... mainly because of the following. When someone tells us that the IQD "sounds too good to be true" we always point them at Kuwait. But that's the last time we want to discuss Kuwait. However, to me, it's our template of sorts (yes, I know about Germany, etc. etc). And that is why RV makes sense to me. However, through posts on DV and elsewhere, I've heard 3 separate arguements for RI ... one mathematical, one from an economics standpoint (also mathematical), and one (almost) philosophical. A week or so ago a post was made (on the NEWS side of DV) disclosing that Iraq's oil money, in it's entirety, was not being utilized for the good of Iraq but was being deposited in a bank in the US (New York I believe) at the rate of $1B - $6B per month and if you did the math on the time frame it was about 72 months worth which made their deposit (speculatively) a minimum of $72B. We also noted that the pipeline is on and pumping NOW and that they had increased barrel output etc. so we believed that it might even be higher than the $6B/month that was disclosed. We went on to show, with the aforementioned math, how it WAS possible to RI ... supporting one of the above arguements ... speculative, mind you, but possible. We based our suppositions on the minimum of $72B. The problem was that we don't actually know how much is in that fund ... UNTIL NOW! CAPTMED posted an article in NEWS today entitled "69th Session of UNCC Governing Council" with a link: http://www.uncc.ch/p...l/69%20open.pdf The UNCC fields claims against those in Chapt 7. In this article it discusses how many claims were filed by individuals and countries against Iraq and what damages were actual (vs claimed) as determined by the UNCC. It tells what the total bill is, how much has been paid, and how it is being paid. Now here is where it gets interesting. On page two of the document it discloses that $28.9B has been paid and that it is coming from the oil revenues at a prescribed rate of 5% of the oil revenues. With a little math utilizing ratios we can calculate that if $28.9B is 5% then there must be a 100% which is the figure that we were needing in the aforementioned discussion and that is HOW MUCH IS IN THE FUND IN NY? And it is (mathematically) $578B Folks, I'm not telling you that they are going to RI ... I'm telling you that since 90% of the IQD sold belongs to countries (calculated by a retired State Dept Economist and posted on the NEWS site) that by IMF law they are required to hold a percentage of their standard trade with Iraq (meaning that it won't be cashed in all at once, but utilized for trade, and still held as per the IMF requirement) and that only 10% is held by folks like us who probably would cash in on RI ... together with the tons of gold that will be released upon lifting of Chapt 7 ... RI is actually feasible. Don't get me wrong I'm still an RV guy. Statistics tell me that 93% of the RV possibilities hit between $.86 and $2.10. That is simply too high to ignore. 60% of that at $.86 to $1.20. Another 21% between $1.21 and $1.86. and the last 12% between $1.87 and $2.10. Remember this though, as I always tell my IQD group that “that and $1.79 will get you a cup of coffee at 7/11!” IT”S JUST MY OPINION BASED ON NUMBERS (but it is pretty well sorted out). My own personal favorite is whatever the EURO is trading for on the day it RV’s. Last Novemeber when we got all excited …you remember, when we saw Baghdad bank rates set IQD at $1.49 for days during business hours. Guess what? That was the exact exchange rate of the USD vs EUR for those days! Today it is trading at $1.33. So, if it RV’d tomorrow my personal expectations would be $1.33. This would peg it superior to the dollar and even with the Euro (which many expect to be named the world’s next reserve currency if we don’t get our financial act together and quit printing money as per our new leadership … ahhhhh, I digress … and the European community gets Portugal, Greece and Spain straightened out or ousted). It would be a brilliant strategy placing it amidst the global currencies … above the Aussie’s and the Kiwis (which in my opinion it should be with it’s oil and agricultural prospects) … and well below the British Pound. It’s kind of a Goldilocks position. Not too high and not too low … just right. Please don’t pretend that I’m foolish enough to wish for an RV over an RI. And please don’t shoot the messenger. I was just trying to tie two posts together and put some sense to all of this. By the way many thanks to CAPTMED for his post to work off of. Peace Doc31 PS if you don’t agree … no need to bash … I realize it’s going to come out at what it’s going to come out at … and I will figure a way to ride it up higher still … just kicking around some numbers here and it’s why I changed the post to the rumor side of DV
