Here we go again. I feel the anticipation building once more hopefully for the last time as we approach what we hope is the end of this long, very long, ride. GREAT POST!

rtrusty, I agree with your post, especially about the 2012 election! I am preparing for the worst of times, and praying for the best of times.

Last month I woke up three nights (mornings) in a row at exactly 3:33...that was really strange! I believe in signs, miracles, and positive thinking. I think if the Dinar was revalued around that amount they would be sending a loud message to the world that they are back in business. : )

This is under FAQ's on the snopes.com site.... Q: Who creates the material for this site? A: With very few exceptions, all of the material on this site is prepared by the same people who operate this site, Barbara and David Mikkelson. Q: How do I know the information you've presented is accurate? A: We don't expect anyone to accept us as the ultimate authority on any topic. Unlike the plethora of anonymous individuals who create and send the unsigned, unsourced e-mail messages that are forwarded all over the Internet, we show our work. The research materials we've used in the preparation of any particular page are listed in the bibliography displayed at the bottom of that page so that readers who wish to verify the validity of our information may check those sources for themselves.

Great post Steve. I agree we are truly blessed to be a part of this great event. We have free will to make choices, but I believe each choice comes certain things that are non-negotiable. So we must be careful of the choices we make. Sometimes it is difficult, but that is when you need to pay attention to your inner voice, gut feeling, guardian angel, guide, higher power; whatever you want to call it, it is there. It will NEVER steer you wrong. Adam made a choice to develop this site, we made choices to be a part of it, and we all will have choices to make when the RV happens. Life is truly amazing and I have enjoyed our dinarvet family and have learned alot; I hope we can continue to share our experiences after the RV; there is strength in numbers and we can continue to learn from each other. We have empowered Adam on our behalf and it will be interesting to see the choices/opportunities he has created. Happy Thanksgiving, God Bless, and Be Safe

Iraq News Summary 8-30-10 (UPDATED)

Thanks! -
ayaimmortal I was told by a Bank of America teller that exchanges currency that they could definitely exchange the dinar; but when I checked further it was not IRAQI Dinar. "The Dinar is the name of the official currency in several countries." There are eight different countries that have "dinar;" and one that has "denar." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinar The Bahraini Dinar, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Libyan Dinar are on the Forex. See rates: http://www.x-rates.com/d/KWD/table.html On April 30th, the day you said it was "locked in" the Bahraini Dinar was at 2.65957 USD, the Kuwaiti Dinar at 3.4632 USD, and the Libyan Dinar at 0.517491 USD. So if they were seeing a rate of $2.88 for the dinar, I don't think it was mistaken for one of these three. Would be nice!
