  4. Why would the the IMF want to quell the BRICS movement? The way I understand it they are only doing what the IMF was intending to to With the 2010 IMF code of reforms. Which was supposed to be passed by US congress years ago but never was. Any notion that the BRICS are working to Undermine the IMF is incorrect...

  7. Seems legit to me. Most of the Anti-maliki stuff being posted here and other places is Misleading or out and out disinfo. Is maliki completly free of corruption? I doubt it. Show me a politician here or anywhere that isnt corrupt to some degree. Is he the Lawless dictator that everybody seems to want to portray him as?? I,d say No!! love him or hate him. He,s been the most internationally scrutinized Prime Minister in the world for the last 8 years and has recieved commendation from the UN for his aderence to the rule law in his country...If the UN thought he was a lawless dictator do you really think they would have let Iraq out of Chapter 7 sanctions? let the bashing begin.
  8. if you look at the link. This article is dated june 27 2014. Im not sure where that other date came from..
  9. Looks like Maliki,s back in for another term. Read it here first! http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/05/23/363841/nouri-almaliki-nominated-for-pm/ Fri May 23, 2014 1:40PM GMT 0 2 5 Download | Embed Related Interviews: 'Huge turnout sign of democracy in Iraq' ‘Iraq violence aimed at undermining PM’ Related Viewpoints: Al-Qaeda’s real origins exposed Iraq’s State of Law Coalition has officially named incumbent Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki as its only candidate for premiership. The coalition says it is ready to negotiate with all political parties in Iraq over its choice for prime minister. Reports say all the members of the coalition have voted for al-Maliki. The alliance won 92 seats in Iraq's recent parliamentary elections. State of Law Coalition, however, fell short of an overall majority. This means that Maliki's chances for a new term are high, but he requires approaching other groups in order to secure a broader majority coalition inside parliament. Al-Maliki needs the support of smaller parties such as those of Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, and Kurdish regional President Massud Barzani. The announced results could still be challenged or change before they are finally certified by Iraq’s Supreme Court. The formation of the Iraqi government is anticipated to take months as the president and the speaker of parliament should be also selected. Under a de facto agreement among communities in Iraq, the prime minister is a Shia Arab, the president a Kurd and the parliament speaker a Sunni Arab. The vote came amid a surge in violence that has reportedly left more than 3,500 people dead this year. Maliki has said Saudi Arabia and Qatar are responsible for the security crisis and growing terrorism in his country.
