Phyllis (my mother) has a LONG list of interests. She's presently spending a lot of her time creating 1/4 scale miniatures, which is VERY, very small. The smaller the scale, the more difficult the execution, she's really quite amazing. She's traveled a GREAT deal and is now very content to stay home and play. I'm a retired ex-entrepreneur (if there is such a thing). I've owned 3 businesses here in town and am delighted that I no longer have to open and close stores every day! I now design and make jewelry which I occassionally sell at arts/crafts shows. Santa Barbara is a very active center for the arts, so there are always interesting venues to attend.
Phyllis and I are delighted to be a part of this group. We SO appreciate all of the help and info we've found on this site and hope to learn how to navigate it a bit better. We are not in the least tech-saavy and don't presently belong to any social networks although we're certainly willing to be friends with anyone interested.
