  1. I am currently selling one million dinar all uncirculated 25000 notes. Will take $900 including shipping. I am located in west central IL, so if anyone is interested please send me a message on here and I will contact you back with contact info. I also have the certificate where I bought them from that I can show . Thanks
  2. With all the news does it look like the rate may still be around the .86-$1.17 mark? I know its hard to say what the rate might be, just wondering if Adams rate of .10 is still more likely.
  3. I just filed my taxes and my tax rep said it would be a schedual D(capital gains). He even called the IRS while I was sitting right there and also called his tax att, and they both said the same thing. I know everyong is saying other income at 35% but he said that this is an investment and would be treadted that way on taxes, 35% short term and 15% long term. He and his tax att. said that unless the IRS comes out with a set directive that it would be counted as capital gains.
  4. I just checked the last million I bought last month and 250,000 of it is dated 2006 and the rest is 2010. I'm not sure how that happend. Everything else I have is either 2006 or earlier.
  5. Thats what I'm saying because Adam said in his last chat to not beleive any of the articals coming out. I'll read the articals that come out but I don't listen to a word they say.
  6. Hi Adam, I have heard several times in this forum that if there is an RV first then there won't be a LOP/RD later. What is your take on this? Thanks and have a good xmas.
  7. Thats what I was thinking and with pulling in notes after every RV would help make the next larger one easier. Just going off of what was reported that there was 30 trill dinar out there, and if there was only 10 trill (the roughly 30% he said) held be speculators then the first RV would only cost them 85 bill without the spread, and thats very possible. And they would probably draw in atleast 30-40% of the notes.
  8. I think what he ment was right now the rate is .000855 and the first zero comes off making it .00855 then .0855 and finally .855 to the dollar over the period before the release of thee new notes. So the way I take it from what he is saying is that the most we will get out of the large notes is .86 to the dollar. There would be about a 90 day window after the release of the smaller denominations to get the final large notes in before the are deemed worthless. He said that doing it this way probably 75% of the large notes would be take in before the release of the new notes, alowing you to exchange your large notes for an equal amount of small notes after they are released. But from what he said is that the notes we have now will probably never see anything over $1 if not only 86 cents. Also RVing in steps would help control the inflation of an RV because not everyone would cash in at the first RV, plus he said that the dinar that countries hold and that the Iraqi people hold will not be cashed in making only roughly 30-40% of whats out there to be cashed in.
  9. I talked to him on the phone and this is what he had to say. For them to LOP the currency right now it would actually be a devalue because a 25000 note would equal a 25 note. The way I understand it is that the larger notes wont lose there value after an RV they will just be taken out of circulation like the US did with its large notes. The Us did not turn a large note into a smaller one and make it worth the same amount. If a 50 note right now would equal a 50,000 note at about $43 the after an RV that 50,000 note would be worth $43,000 at 86 cents. He said the whole purpose for making notes without the three zeros would be to make transactions easier with a higher value diinar. So the way I take it from him is that after it RV's and they introduce the new lower denominations, there will be a short time period to cash them in. From what he said is that the RV probably won't be any higher then 86 cents over the time frame before they introduce the new notes, then after the old notes are all pulled out then there will be a RI to the former amount. He never said which ones but he told me that there have been countries that have done it this way before, and this guy used to work with forex so I believe what he says. He thinks they will remove the first zero off the exchange rate sometime in the first quarter of 2012 and the other two over the year. I was also told that there is a chance that they could do a straight up RD(LOP) without an RV, but he said it would be better for them to show something positive in their currency first. So if they RV'd first then did a LOP then you would get the same amout of lower denominatios to equal the larger ones, like one 25,000 note would be 1000 25 notes, and if they RD'd first then a 25'000 note would become a 25 note which is the one we don't want. Hope this helps Keep .
  10. I sure could. I'll see him again sometime tommorrow afternoon and I'll see if I can get a more detailed explination. The way I took it from him is that in order for them to do a RI they have to LOP first, but not to just RV even to $1. He said that they can't have 25,000 notes out there worth over $75,000 because transactions would be almost impossible. It's like trying to pay for a back of 25 cent gum with a $100 bill, you just don't do it. One thing he did say was that it would be a gradual raise in value over the period of time before the LOP, and have a full RI after the LOP. I never took economics or anything so I have no idea myself how it would work, so I'm just saying what I was told.
  11. With all the counterdicting articals coming out, this thing can still go either way. All one can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I was hoping atleast for a small RV because I'm planning on going back to school next year to finish getting my PHD in physics so I can get a job at a university instead of working at a community college. This would help with school and living expences since I have a family. Not to argue with Keep because he knows a lot, but one of my fellow professors that I posted about earlier said that you can have an RV followed by a RD (LOP). If there was to be a big RV then there would have to be smaller denomitaions without the zeros to keep from having to carry around a 25,000 note worth $75,000 or more. This is why he said that there would be smaller RV's to remove the zeros off the exchange rate before it RD's into smaller notes and a full RI. But I don't believe in a large RV at first like something over a $1.
  12. I just spoke with one of my fellow professors that teaches economics about this and what they could mean. He knows alot about curencies and said that the introduction of lower denominations (without the three zeros) doesn't always mean something bad. He was saying that if they LOP its going to be to allow the currency to reach its prior value of over $3 to 1. If they don't do LOP till 2013 then there would probably be several saller RV's to get to to around .86 to 1 dollor, but more then likely 86 cents because they said the 50 note would equal a 50,000 note right now. An 86 cent RV would be to get it ready fo the major RV after the LOP (by removing a zero off the exchange rate one at a time) which would be actually an RI of the formor value. One thing he did say is that your most likely not going to see a value over $1 before a LOP, but I'll take 86 cents anyday. This guy does know about currecies because he used to work for forex before becoming a professor.
  13. So if I'm hearing this right, are they talking about just issuing new lower denominations and not doing a RD making a 25,000 into 25?
  14. Hey Randalln, I have a question. In another post you was talking about the UN having two almost identical press releases in 6 months about the removal of ch 7, and you said they were possiblly hiding something. With ch 7 being a big issue why would they want to keep it hidden about being released?
  15. Why wouldn't they want anyone to know that ch. 7 was lifted?
