Your post seemed clear: you were drawing parallels between the "gurus" and their lies, whose sole purpose was to increase dinar sales to line their own pockets. I just don't see how you can draw such a conclusion when to do so means every single person who has claimed an RV date and was wrong, did it on purpose knowing it was NOT in fact an RV date. Color me naive if you like, but I cannot accept such a conclusion. Yes, even when they've done it hundreds of times over the past several years. It seems much more likely to me that they are simply people with various sources of "intel" who are very enthusiastic about this investment. I mean really? What sounds more logical or reasonable to you? And again, the very fact that you're making such an egregious claim completely (to me at least) undermines your entire argument. On an aside I agree with the poster who said this thread would be much more appropriate in an "opinion" forum. If you are somehow simply trying to use the word "lie" to mean any claim of an RV date that didn't come to pass, well then I point you back to the definition of the word. It's not simply the opposite of truth. I don't know. Maybe I'm just arguing semantics but I'm sure you see where I'm coming from. The definition of the word "lie" contains more than just a false statement. It implies duplicity. It implies deliberation. It implies knowing the truth then misrepresenting it. None of which I think apply to the overzealous gurus who have repeatedly for the past several years given us "intel" that the dinar will RV in the next few days. I get irritated when people try to make a point without properly utilizing the words they are conveying. I understand there is a lot of frustration floating around but using inflammatory rhetoric to "prove" your point...in my humble opinion you totally undermine your entire argument thereby. Consider... While it is POSSIBLE that some "gurus" and/or "pumpers" are in fact LYING, to claim that ALL gurus are doing so is at best (as I've mentioned above) inflammatory rhetoric. At worst you're guilty of the same "crap" you mention being brought here. Look, you're obviously very intelligent. As many others have done so I applaud your logical, reasonable argument. But to cast heaping piles of disdain and to level false accusations on anybody posting in the RUMOR forum, nay on EVERYBODY posting in the rumor forum...for the past what, several years? Kim Clements added this tonight to his prophetical utterances regarding the IQD: Three times nothing is something. So now we've got that and his previous: Hasn't been time, hasn't been time, sudden change! Frank went on to explain that he believed the three times nothing was related to the lifting of the three zeroes (nothings). I had to leave and didn't get to finish listening after that, but I wanted to hear what Kim had to say. Kim also went on to say that he definitely believed this investment was going to "pan out" (my words) this summer, and that he felt good about July being the month. Those last two were his "feelings" regarding how the Lord was leading him on this whole thing and not prophecy per se. Or at least how I understood him. I am impressed with Kim's ministry, just like I was with George Robinson's (and still am). But I can't help but think about how it seems that Frank is now on his second prophet...I dunno'. On the one hand it all seems kind've corny. On the other hand I am fully aware and will never deny the power of God, and how his ways are above our ways. Hopefully when this is all over we can look back and see that we simply misunderstood the prophecies at the time and how they were actually quite accurate. I'll be honest: I'm still waiting to see if the rate comes out at $3.89 like George said. Take care.

I really don't want to descend into the realm of arguing semantics, but a proper understanding and usage of the language is necessary to effective communication. When you come to Dinarvets.com you have a button up on the top labeled Forums, do you not? And when you click on it are you not presented with a list of links to various forums? Yes, and yes. This *IS* in fact a Rumor Forum on a Dinar Investment website. I am also not aware of any requirement for disclaimers preceding any of our posts here in the Rumor forum. When signing up we are claiming to be at least 18 years of age. With that claim comes the assumption that we are mature enough to make adult decisions about what we read and how we let it affect our lives. Just like you are adult enough to make choices about whether or not to abide by the Terms of Service you agreed to before posting here. Calling Easy a pet is a good example. I personally wouldn't want to be called a pet, and I'm sure you wouldn't either. So why do you blatantly violate this site's rules by continuing to do something which is at best simply rude? I can no more prove that they are telling the truth than you can prove they are telling a lie. Before you respond, please visit your nearest dictionary and look up the meaning of the word 'lie'. Thank you. I've got to get back to work. It all boils down to this: you (among others) are violating the Terms of Service of this site. Easy is NOT. Please leave those of us who choose to abide by the rules and have rational, adult POLITE conversation alone. It's that simple. It has nothing to do with loyalty, unless you mean loyalty to common decency and respect. Look, this is the RUMOR forum. Prove that these people are actually lying (i.e., DELIBERATELY misrepresenting the truth) or keep your "...abusive, harassing, ... defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, ... hateful ...." comments to yourself! And yeah, that's straight from the Terms of Service we all agreed to abide by when signing up to post here. There is nothing wrong with discussing the rumors that Easy posts. There is EVERYTHING wrong with harassing Easy for doing so. You are NOT contributing to meaningful exchange. You are, in fact, "act[ing] in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in exchanges" by inserting your inflammatory rhetoric into discussions. I was referring to the stir things up comment you made above. No biggie. Should have prefaced my motivational comment with a /tongue-in-cheek smiley or something. Do those even exist? I concur to agree to disagree. Not to "stir things up" again (hee hee hee) but my whole angle was simply logical thought. I can leave the word "prophet" out of my argument if you'd like, and I'm curious if that would actually change anything concerning your rebuttal. Here goes... If someone foretells the future in the name of the Lord and their foretelling fails to come to pass as foretold, what does that make them? Perhaps more to the point, should they keep foretelling the future in the name of the Lord? I've enjoyed the civil discussion thus far! Take care.

Easy, thank you for the post. I for one appreciate the links and more importantly the effort you expend to collect information from various sites/sources. Saves me from having to go anywhere else, pretty much. As for those of you "bashing" Easy...really? On the Rumors forum? I agree with the poster above that suggested administrative action be taken against those who continue to harass those posters on this forum. I mean it's the RUMORS forum and Easy brings some RUMORS over and is subsequently lambasted for it. In fact, those of you who do so are in blatant violation of this very forum's Terms of Service. So Sam T, are you saying that someone who prophesies falsely is NOT a false prophet? I mean really, what ARE you saying? Mr. Robinson's own words were "...I prophesied...", and his prophecy didn't come to pass. Concerning my discussion, I don't care if he's in what you call the "office of a prophet" or not. He foretold the future at the leading of the Lord, and his foretelling did not come to pass. I've got an idea: what DOES that make Mr. Robinson? Before you answer recall that Mr. Robinson claimed to know this future (the RV of the IQD) based on what he said the Lord revealed to him. And regarding your warning I point you to Deuteronomy. If a prophecy fails, fear not the prophet! Take care. p.s. It concerns me that you've apparently started to assume things about my motivation/personality. I ask you to stop and re-read my posts regarding Mr. Robinson before doing so again. Furthermore I'll go ahead and restate what I've written numerous times in the past: I love Mr. Robinson and am greatly impressed by his testimony and ministry. I feel he is a great and genuine minister of the Lord. It's his prophesying that has me concerned.

And your last statement is exactly my point: Mr. Robinson is NOT one of this site's "gurus". He is a minister of the LORD. Let me say that again. He is a minister of the LORD! He was given revelation/visions/whatever that he claimed were from the LORD regarding the RV of the IQD. He did NOT take the advice of Paul in Corinthians 14:29, which says, "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge." Are we not OBLIGATED as Mr. Robinson's brothers in Christ to draw attention to the fact that his prophecy has for all intents and purposes, failed to come to pass as he revealed it? Or do we brush it under the rug? I believe the point of God giving us a litmus test for prophecy and Paul's admonition in Corinthians 14:29 is so we don't get repeat offenders. If Mr. Robinson's prophecy concerning the RV of the IQD failed, then we are told by God that we do not need to "fear" Mr. Robinson any more. Whatever else he may prophesy is now suspect. THAT is the whole point of my drawing attention to this, of others drawing attention to this. So we won't be led to act based on Mr. Robinson's "revelations". Because I'm not gonna' lie, I TOTALLY believed it was going to happen based on my understanding of Christianity, of spiritual matters, and Mr. Robinson's testimony. Did I go and spend all my rent money and utility money on dinar after hearing Mr. Robinson? No, thankfully God has kept me from being stupid. But still. Now we know, at least as far as Mr. Robinson's prophecies are concerned, that he is just as likely to be right as any of the other so called "gurus" or financial advisors. Or so it appears to my finite human mind. Just, really people. I love Mr. Robinson. I praise God for him, his testimonies, and his ministry. Again, he seems to be a genuine minister of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 18:22) A quick preface: PLEASE don't confuse the issue by claiming George Robinson never said he was a prophet. He claimed the Lord SHOWED him what was to come to pass regarding the RV of the Iraqi Dinar. How much plainer can it be? I hung in there to the last possible second. I really, REALLY wanted Mr. Robinson to be correct. Not so much because I wanted to be monetarily rich (God be praised I'm already abundantly blessed in this life), but because he appeared to be a genuine minister of the Lord and had some very exciting things to tell about, for example, next year. Now I must take the advice of God himself and categorize Mr. Robinson as a "presumptuous" person, and pretty much discount anything he has to say in future. I admit this grudgingly, to be honest, but how long can you make excuses for someone? End of May came and went. First [half] of June came and went. June 29th came and went. No RV. No RV. No RV. Are we to assume the 29 meant July? August? September? This doesn't lessen the magnitude or awesomeness of God's glory or power in the slightest to me. Just Mr. Robinson's. So my question: can we all now safely conclude that Mr. Robinson is a false prophet? I hate to admit it, but yes, unfortunately it appears that we can. Take care.
