Thank you, Joe Friday, for some respectful and intelligent dialog. It does get tiresome to see the ignorance that is thrown around here. I suppose it is because the radio stations folks listen to spew lies and nonsense in red states and that is all you get there. I feel lucky to be able to hear both sides of the story instead. It is a shame for folks without that opportunity. Folks in red states end up voting against themselves. Red states receive more federal funding than blue states and the blue states pay the bill! Our president is trying to get the country back on solid footing instead of 2% of the people having all the money. He is trying to get us back to what worked under the Clinton presidency where there was a surplus. Relax. Try working together instead of using hate speech against our president or any party.

It is interesting to me that the "red states" vote for the Republicans and they are the poorest states. You are voting against yourselves, for more taxes for the middle class and poor, a decrease in the support systems that keep you going in time of trouble such as Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare. I can't help but believe at the base there is racism going on here on this site about our president. Union busting by the Republican governors is a set up to break up a force that votes Democratic. That hurts the lower and middle class workers. Don't know who you listen to, but it sure is biased to end up with such hatred of Obama.

President Obama was on David Letterman to explain his policies to those who do not read or watch the news. Also, likability wins votes. The most likable candidate usually wins the election and he beats Romney in this way. Brilliant move and great show watching him with Dave. Our president has issues with the Israeli prime minister who wants the USA to commit to another war. Obama does not want to do it. The Prime Minister does not agree to anything that Obama and the United Nations asks for and that has strained the relationship. Israel consistently allows settlements to start and grow over the established UN line into Palestinian territory, the soldiers abuse Palestinians, Bedouin homes inside Israel are bulldozed, and water rights for non-Jewish citizens are disregarded. I have traveled to the Holy Land many times. The words that Obama says are used out of respect and as a means of joining with Muslims there. It does make him a Muslim to know quotes from the Koran, to have lived in countries that are predominantly Islamic, or to know how to greet Muslims in their language of peace. I do that and I am a Christian pastor who travels to create bridges of peace in these countries. He has tried to be respectful of others by being respectful of their traditions. Cutting off what he says in mid-sentence in the quote about John McCain to make him look like he is saying he is a Muslim is just plain ridiculous.

Hey Peoples Champ, this notion that Barack Obama is a Muslim has been debunked over and over again. Don't know what you are listening to, but they are not telling you the truth. I have watched Barack in worship and he knows every word of the Christian hymns. He also works at the Christian values of compassion, sharing, peace, and bridging the gap toward inclusion of all. We have the far greater hope with this man than Romney who is about exclusion. He can't help himself. I don't blame him, He was raised that way.

Israel is pressing the USA government to support an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, though Israel has at least 400 nukes themselves. The Israeli Lobby tries to control our politicians by using tons of money to support those who agree with the Israeli Zionist goals of land grab through the Occupation of the Palestinian territories. And they use money against those who don't agree. It is a set-up to push Obama into siding with them by doing this before the election. I pray that Obama stays out of this except to continue to push for peace. We do not need to be sucked into another war by the Zionists.

Do you think we need a Warka account for safety sake? Will it protect our dinar investment to have some of the money already in a bank in Iraq in electric balance form so that if they introduce new denominations, our money will just be translated into those formats? I often wonder how much these guys get paid by dinar sellers per post. They have been doing this for years so maybe they have already made their millions. There are Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem that are being bulldozed. 25% of children, women, adult men in the West Bank are imprisoned in their lifetime and can be taken off the street for nothing. In the West Bank roads are built that only Jews can travel on with white license plates....apartheid. Palestinian Christians and Muslims are cut off from their water, land, homes, jobs, schools, hospitals, families by the Wall and these roads. Arabs in Israel are given water once per week to store in tanks on top of their houses while Jews in settlements have water for pools, bushes and gardens 24/7 in the West Bank. Over 20,000 buildings including hospitals and schools were bombed in Gaza and now there is a blockade by Israel on medical and building supplies stopping all boats from bringing them in to Gaza. Americans need to look deeper. This is NOT a DEMOCRACY that we say we are supporting. Do not be tricked into supporting another war on behalf of Israel. It is not in Israel's best interest to support her behaviors that get her hated in her neighborhood. The best protection for the Jews there is to encourage that government to act with justice toward its citizens and the Palestinians. That means cutting off our funding of this government until it acts in just ways. We provide billions per year to Israel that supports the military acting in these ways and building the Wall. You must think what that does to the neighbors around Israel as they see us talk about bringing democracy to the region.
