I come from a farming/ranching family for many generations back. I am a leader in my community and
church. I had a great grandfather that was a very successful business man and his legacy lives on today
in the land my family now manages.
I believe America has the most safe and affordable food supply on the planet. I'm proud to have a part in that.
I want to leave a legacy behind me that my children and grandchildren can be proud of, just as I'm proud
of the ones who came before me. I have told my kids they are to be give back to God and charity. When much is gained, much is expected.
One goal I have is to visit St. Jude's Hospital with a million dollar check. While I'm there I want to tell the
children about God's love for them and how he sent his Son to die for us to pay our way into heaven.
I get a blessing from helping others and leading a Christian lifestyle. In our hometown was a recent apartment fire. Over 20 families lost most or all their belongings. Our town gave food, clothes and many
other necessities.
I stopped by our church a couple days after the fire and made a donation for the victims. While I was there, the director of our day care came in the office and told us about a little boy in our day care who had lost his new shoes in the fire. I pulled my wallet out and handed her some money. I told her to find out what size he needed and get him some more shoes. She sent me a text a few days later of the boy opening his new shoes. I got a great blessing from the big smile on his face. When we can sieze opportunities like this, we make a tremendous impact on others.
