Actually, they will be opening on Sunday. the US will not be opening their banks until Monday and syncing up with Iraq's banks then.

Hello all, I have been invested since December 2010 and a member here since January 2011. I haven't posted any predictions or rates, just read and usually commented. Now that I got all the entros out of the way, here's what I have. Many years ago my wife found out she was Physic (or is that Psychotic?). She doesn't read any posts, she doesn't folow any of the Iraqi news. Every once in a while, she'll ask me if I've heard anything about the Dinar or Dong. My usual responce is just the usual rumors. About a week ago, she looked at me and said she has a feeling something was going to happen on March 19th, and we would come into a lot of money on the 21st. She also said it's not the high amount I'd been throwing around. Probably closer to 1 = 1 ratio. So there ya have it. Take it for what it's worth. A rumor. But if it does come true, just remember, my wife predicted it. I hope she's right! GO RV!!!

Luigi1 if I am reading the charts correctly, the value is showing how many US $ it takes to make up 1 VND. The chart is showing it takes LESS US $ to make up 1 VND. We want it to go the other direction so it takes MORE US $ to make up one VND. The meetings may have gone well, however, I believe it may be some time before we see any positive outcome on the Dinar associated with the latest international economical changes.

CaptJohn, Yes, CBI's main page did not update, however, if you click on the Currency Exchange link you will see they updated it with the 11th rate of 1170.

It is a very good post and actually coming from the source of the CBI. My question is not "IF" it will RV (this is inevitable). My question is that when it does RV, will our 25,000 notes be accepted by CBI and if so, will they be worth anything other than TP.

Was anyone able to decipher this pdf? There were 3 dates at the top.. from left to right: 2011/2/23 95./2/9 or 950/2/9 and 2011/12/31 I hope there not planning on waiting on the RV till Dec 31!

The rate BOA is showing is not their Buy back rate (the rate we are looking for to sell our currency back to them for US Dollars). I could not find their Buy back rate on their site (this would be if I came back from their country and wanted to exchange the foreign currency back to US currency) The rate they are showing is their SELL to you rate (this includes their exchange fee). It is a higher rate than the 3.57 because they are in it to make themselves money!

Just remember.. you are reading in the rumors section and not in the news section. NOTHING in the rumors section has to be verified! EVERYTHING in the news section is verified with links and research. If you Do NOT want disappointment, don't read the rumors!

Are you kidding me Billo0? I think that a large portion of the posters that started in the last 2 to 3 months are probably in their teens! Proof being that a lot of them give rude and non constructive comments. There impatient. And to top it all off, most of them dissipated during the day when school started back up! Just my observation over the past several months. And those of you giving me negatives.. Your probably the children in this forum!
