  1. I'm sorry, but "unemployment is falling faster than expected"? Somebody has been reading too many U.S. media lies. Sheesh!
  2. I know it wasn't you who said it, and I was just making an observation at the knee-jerk, reactionary tongue-lashing by the original author who added some blatant lies of his own. There's no need for that. The truth can take care of itself and doesn't need embellishment. I know of at least two dinar web sites that have published links to one of the lengthy charges made againt Tony a few years ago (still pending), but I'm not here to smear Tony, only to state my observation. I do happen to believe that Tony is bringing to his board what he is told by numerous sources and is doing his best, and he isn't the only one out there saying what he says. I know that isn't a popular sentiment here, and his background doesn't help matters any, of course. As for being "brave enough" to come back here (lol) ... hmmm ... not quite sure what you mean by that, but should I say "you're welcome"? I just stay focused on Iraq and what is happening there. That's all we need to know. No matter what the "gurus" say, the rest will come when the time is right.
  3. Hey there! Yeah, I stepped away from Dinarland for quite some time, only to return and find that nothing has changed, except that there has apparently been an RV (Yeeeaaaahhhhh)!!!!! Anyway, here you go: I just received this from a reader - WOW! hi John this was posted underneath tnt call/blogtalk radio... this word need to be gotten out... this is who I have been listening to and todate he has been wrong.. It is an eye opener. I think it was posted on the Nov.19th but could not find any comment on it after the next show had aired.. I have grave concerns with cabal lead gurus that continue to keep people's hopes up.. Just FYI. written by Fennis Demboby....HEY look what i found on your con man TNT tony.. LOOK PEOPLE STOP LISTING TO THIS GUY HES THE BIGGEST DINAR CON MAN OUT THERE HIM OKIE AND CHECK-MATE FROM PEOPLES TALK RADIO LAST WARING STOP SENDING HIM MONEY AND STOP LISTING TO HIS BS INFO kaperoni Moderator Posts: 13630 This was sent to me today by an attorney who reviewed TNT Tonys charges... The last paragraph is really chilling. I hope we can spread this around so people do not get taken. My comment: The post was cut and pasted and embellished with personal comments to paint Tony Renfrow in as negative way as possible by mixing in fiction with fact at the author's whim. Some is true, and some is blatantly false. If someone wishes to educate the public about somebody else's wrongdoings, I would think that they would first get their facts straight and keep their own embellishments out of it. Otherwise, all you have is malicious gossip. In other words, the court documents are online, easily found, and do a better job of speaking for themselves. (and they aren't very pretty)
  4. Dinarthug said, "I hope we can spread this around so people do not get taken." I don't think that spreading rumors and allegations around about people helps anybody, and it certainly doesn't reflect well on the one doing the spreading. JMO.
  5. Stepping back, taking a look at the whole picture, knowing what we already know, I think it's easy to take this article out of context. I believe Iraq has way too much pride to proceed forward much further without switching to its own currency as a huge symbol of its renewed sovereignty. Continuing to rely on the USD is a symbol of weakness, and I submit that they want to get away from it ASAP. JMHO...
  6. Realistic or not, I believe that if they don't RV their currency, THEY are screwed.
  7. Thank you, 20Million. I have no plans to use Weiss for investment purposes but like to watch what they're up to, along with several other firms. I always appreciate input from those whose opinions I respect, and I can now now consider myself warned
  8. This is part of an email I just received from an investment firm, and I thought it was interesting. (The rest is basically an advertisement.) From the desk of Larry Edelson Amazing, but now our country’s most successful company ever, Apple, just announced that it will begin accepting payment in Chinese yuan for iTunes music and application downloads! If that’s not a sign of the growing importance of China’s currency, I don’t know what is. Fact is, China’s yuan now represents the fastest growing currency market in the world, while the U.S. dollar is second best. The yuan is now being used to pay for goods and services in Hong Kong, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and more countries, all of whom are starting to recognize that China’s currency is soon going to become as international a currency as the dollar or the euro. 9. I agree. To see even ultraconservative Adam cautiously excited tells me that somethin's up!! My sentiments exactly!!! Great "first post."
  10. Both feet planted firmly on the ground, ready to hit the pavement RUNNING...to the bank....!!!! C'mon, DEFEND YOURSELF (or I'll do it for you) -- It's pronounced "BAY-NER"!!!
  11. LOL -- well, if I may, perhaps it's a favorite toy of his/her child, or something. I am "FoxyRoxy" because Roxy is my "child" (cat, to be exact), and I call her "FoxyRoxy." I often wonder how people come up with their handles.
  12. Oh! Thanks, lonestar. It didn't occur to me that the bank might send it somewhere else for verification. (I wouldn't do that.) Thank you for the clarification. LOL -- DITTO! (I have some shoppin' to do...!!!)
  13. I'm sorry, but I don't understand. First of all, where did WeareRICH! get all that information in the first paragraph? Secondly, I'm totally confused by the second paragraph, from tummybed, regarding the $30, the $3.37, and "send it back." Could you please clarify this entire post???
  14. Believe me, I'm taking your post in the spirit with which you wrote it, but you are totally incorrect. The sentence you highlighted in blue contains only ONE subject and ONE verb, "sentence" and "went." Therefore, it is NOT a run-on sentence. Where would you put a period to split it? You would be left with a sentence fragment without a subject or verb. Secondly, what you highlighted in green is punctuated correctly the way I wrote it. Believe it or not, not all long sentences require punctuation. Where would you add it? It is unnecessary. Not only do most people use too many commas, but there is no rule to dictate further punctuation in that sentence. Thirdly, what you highlighted in red is blatantly wrong and is written correctly. However, I will concede that that sentence could be up for debate. Even with all that said, I make my living in the written word, and I've learned that "proper" isn't always the right way to go anymore. As language evolves, so does etymology, and unfortunately, eventually, the grammar books will be re-written to accommodate the illiterate. By the way, didn't you mean you have a POOR language streak??? And again, that said, your sentence could be taken the wrong way. (JK) Thanks for the post. I enjoyed the rebuttle! Kudos, and thx for more lafs... That figures. So what should I call you??? (Seriously, six languages is impressive!! )
