  1. They are all closed: http://forex.timezoneconverter.com/index.cgi
  2. Counter Intel folks probably zapped the line... operational security violation to say, "something big is about to happen tomorrow"
  3. Buddy, your responses are more akened to party line quips that come straight off of Gibbs' talking points sheet than actual intellectually inspired points that address the true issues here. When you have some actual meat let me know... silly boy Trix are for kids
  4. So buddy (ajskj).... the significance of a "natural born" citizen who spent the majority of their formative years in another country has no bearing on the issue of whether someone should be eligible for our nation’s highest office? Someone who was born in another country, but moved to this country at age 1 and spent the rest of their life here in the US would not be qualified to be president, but someone who was born here in the US, but move at age 5 to another country and spent the remainder of their formative years learning and assimilating into another culture/country, maybe even becoming a citizen of that country WOULD be qualified? The purpose of this clause in the constitution was to make sure our president's allegiance to American, the constitution and its people was unquestionable. What influences did growing up in Indonesia have on Obama as a president today.... I don't know because I have never been to Indonesia. I would suspect that whatever it is, it is heavily doused in socialism. I for one would like to know that my president grew up in this nation as one of us, not over in another country. This is the issue at hand. The birth certificate is only a little spot compared to the issue of his growing up in another country and possibly being a de facto citizen of that nation. Also, specifically who are those two presidents you are referencing who grew up in other countries? Also, you did at least admit he was a citizen of another country at one point in his life.... up until 21.... wow... and this is not suppose to be important. If this was Bush, I would be saying the same thing. It has nothing to do with what I think of Obama.
  5. Look up Kenyan dual citizenship. If your parent is from Kenya and you are born in another country, you are considered to hold dual citizenship until the age of 21...unless you APPLY to keep it. We are talking about Indonesia not Kenya... and we are talking about the US law and not any other countries laws. What does US law say about an America who has a duel citizenship. If there are no laws, then we need to make some. This is a very important issue we cannot let go unadressed, whether it is Obama or Schwarzenegger (obviously not qualified) who is running for president. Sorry, buddy, it's up to YOU to prove that an American citizen who held a dual citizenship until the age of majority is NOT eligible. All the Constitution talks about is your citizenship AT BIRTH. But the significance of this issue goes beyond what the founders had considered. It is an issue that should be addressed either through an amendment to the constitution or a clarification by the Supreme Court... not a simple interpertation. Again... you sound intelligent, but give no source for your conclusion. You just assume what you know is right. Show me in the law where there is the basis for a US citizen that once held the citizenship of another country to be elligible for the office of the Presidency. This has never come up before as an issue. We at least need to refine the rules of our processes to address this particuar circustance. BTW I am born of a family where my mom is American and my dad was from Guyana of East Indian hearitage... I lived in Guyana for two years. I am kind of in the same boat as Obama. It would be nice to know explicitly if I am eligable for the office of the presidency rather than trying to figure it out from the vague laws that fail to provide clarity to the issue..... this is much like the RV tax question we all have... is it capital gains or is it ordinary income. This should be a simple answer, but for some reason it is not.
  6. ajskj..... show me where duel citizenship expires after age 22 and where in the constitution it allows someone who once held the citizenship of another country to be president? You state things as if they are facts but please cite a source. You talk about evidence, but the only thing you have presented is your unqualified opinion. Show me the law and I will acknowledge your point if you are right.
  7. ajskj.... you play the racist card very well. Good job. I now see what you are saying; this controversy could only surround a black American presidential candidate, because as you have concluded, most non-black Americans are racist in this country. ... and you have not said anything about a natural born American who may have a duel citizenship and their eligibility for the office of the presidency... oh, wait... that is a racist point also... ok... I'll shut up because you have conviced me that my ability to think critically is just another form of latent racism.
  8. Mr. President... just show us the freekin birth certificate so this can die. If it would be that easy to squash this issue, then why are you holding back on it? As long as you hold out on the actual birth certificate, you will always have this issue over your head. Or do you have something to hide? BTW, has there ever been a president in the history of the US that has not provided a "birth certificate" to the public for review/verification? And really, if Obama was white, no one would care if he was born in the US or not? Wow, the majority America voted for a black president, but they are still racists because they are demanding CONCLUSIVE proof (certificate of live birth is not conclusive) of their presidents constitutionally mandated credentials?????? WOW!!!!! Also, the real question here is not really if the president was born in the US, but what if he/she was raised in another country and given citizenship in that country as a youth. Can he/she still be elligible for the position of US president? The birth certificate issue I feel is secondary and a destraction to this very important question.... don't look at what the hand holding the magic coin is doing, it is the other that you have to look out for.

  10. Well, hell, why not just say screw everone and issue new currency and call the old currency junk? Why bother with 7 days? How about 1 day..or even one hour, that way they can say they gave everone a chance to cash in.
  11. For those who have seen the movie Envy... you wil understand when I say I need a can of VaPOOrize!!!!!
  12. You will be amazed how much information you can get over a bottle of Jack... Social Engineering, a hacker term for getting sensitive information, is a very powerful technique for getting information. Additionally, the RV community is large and very well connected. Put the two together and you can figure out how info like this may have been leaked. On the other side of the coin, the "RV" may be the biggest scam ever perpetrated in the history of global economics..... there goes that lopster again
  13. What site did this post come from... reference link please?
  14. Don't forget the 7-10% state income tax and another 5-10% sales tax on all purchases you make using that money... So, while I am blessed that I have an opportunity to be a part of this investment, how much is enough for the government? So in a high tax state you are looking at up to 55% tax on your investment profits. Now if it was only 35%, then I would agree that you would have very little to complain about, but your analysis left out the rest of the story. Oh... and let us not forget the 50% death tax that will be coming up if you try to pass your wealth to your family when you die; money that has already been taxed, being taxed again. Respectable and responsible tax rates are honorable and are an important part of being a citizen of this great nation, but the up to 55% tax rates, which it currently stands at now for many citizens is obscene. The grossly high tax rates of this country, coupled with the equally irresponsible national deficit/debt we have makes every one of our national leaders traitors to what our founding fathers had intended for this great nation. And for some reason we keep reelecting them: Polosi, Reid, Boxer, McCain, Franks..... and the list goes on and on and on......
