  2. Posted 03 November 2012 - 11:08 PM Hello all, once again as I sit here and watch this board waiting for something to happen, I feel it is time for a reminder for the vets, and hopefully a lesson for the newbies. Its been a while since I put in my 2 cents worth, but when I sit here and watch all the newbies who are spending countless hours watching and waiting for this thing to pop, I figured it was time to re-post something I posted a couple years ago at about this time. It should be a reality check for some, and a reminder for others. While my information in this post with regards to the Dinar is mostly outdated now, you'll find there are somethings that are the same as they were 2 years ago. You may find it interesting that some of what I posted we have been waiting for since then and is still being talked about today. I'm not here to be a debbie downer, but to be a voice of reason and reality of what this investment can do to you. This post is from me 2 years ago when I got involved in this investment and let the dream of being rich consume me. I posted as much info as you see others post today. There have been many others, We come and go, Eventually you need to step back and take a close look at what you are waiting for and realize you need to be more than patient in this investment. Don't let it consume you, because it may be to late by the time you realize it. I may have caught myself in time, but I am still paying for it today. It's a long read, but worth your time. I would be willing to bet that most will not bother thinking they know what they are doing...just like I did. For you I pray you are right. Facing the reality, My 2 Cents PS Don't let my rep fool you, it was well over a 1000 before the reset about 2 years ago. I don't pay much attention to the reps, but I know many here use it as a tool of who is and is not worth listening too. Many vets here will tell you I am one who knows what I am talking about.
  3. This, in my opinion is why we are not going to see any kind of RV anytime soon. At least 64 people killed in Iraq; U.S. offers reward By Michael Martinez and Mohammed Tawfeeq, CNN updated 10:05 PM EDT, Sat August 10, 2013 Smoke rising from a bomb attack in Tuz Khormato can be seen from a rooftop on August 10. HIDE CAPTION Wave of deadly bombings strike Iraq << < 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 > >> STORY HIGHLIGHTS NEW: U.S. State Department offers $10 million reward Death toll grows quickly as explosions erupt throughout Iraq Celebrations marked end of Ramadan July was deadliest in Iraq since the peak of Sunni-Shiite violence in 2006 and 2007 (CNN) -- In the wake of dramatic bloodshed in Iraq on Saturday, the U.S. State Department said it has offered a $10 million reward for information that helps authorities kill or capture the head of al Qaeda in Iraq, saying the group is behind most similar attacks this summer. At least 64 people were killed and 190 wounded in a wave of bombings that came amid Eid festivities marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, two Interior Ministry officials told CNN. The violence in Iraq came as Muslims celebrated the recent completion of Ramadan's monthlong fasting. It followed a July that was the bloodiest in five years, when violence between Sunnis and Shiites -- both Muslim sects -- spun out of control. In a press release Saturday, the State Department said the attacks "bear the hallmarks of suicide and vehicle attacks in Iraq over the past ninety days" and said most of those attacks were committed by al Qaeda in Iraq, which is led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The $10 million bounty on al-Baghdadi's head is second only to information leading to group's chief, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the State Department said. Saturday's death toll included reports by Baghdad police that at least 22 people were killed and more than 40 others wounded after eight car bombs exploded in Shiite neighborhoods. In Tuz Khurmatou, about 180 kilometers, or 112 miles, north of Baghdad, at least eight people were killed and more than 40 others were wounded when a suicide car bomber exploded on a commercial corridor. Tuz Khurmatou is an ethnically mixed city of Arab, Kurd and Turkmen residents. In Mosul, at least eight people were killed and 12 others were wounded in two separate explosions in the city. Mosul is a largely Sunni city about 400 kilometers, or 248 miles, north of Baghdad. New violence in Iraq In Nasiriya, a car bomb exploded on a busy road, killing four people and wounding 12. Nasiriya is located in the heavily Shiite region of southern Iraq and is about 400 kilometers outside of Baghdad. In Karbala, about 100 kilometers, or 62 miles, south of Baghdad, a car bomb exploded near a bus station, killing two people and wounding 15 others. Karbala is a Shiite city. The bloodshed appears to mark a new round of violence to hit Iraq in recent months, much of it stemming from decades-old discord between the nation's Sunnis and Shiites, the two largest branches of Islam. Sunnis have felt politically marginalized under a Shiite-led government since the ouster of longtime leader Saddam Hussein in a 2003 U.S.-led invasion. The enmity is further deepened by the fact Saddam's Baathist regime was composed mostly of Sunnis during more than two decades of dictatorship and was violently repressive against Shiites. July was the deadliest month in Iraq since the peak of sectarian violence in 2006 and 2007. According to figures released by the U.N. Assistance Mission for Iraq, 1,057 Iraqis were killed and another 2,326 were wounded in acts of terrorism and violence last month.

  5. You mean lopsters are right and that is not what we want? God forbid that there are people out there who actually understand what deleting the zeros actually means for us. Funny that an article like this makes things so clear.
  6. This is the truth behind this investment and why it is HIGH RISK. This investment is a long term high, risk investment with possibilities from losing it all, to braking even, to making 2-3 time return or hitting the mother load. Our chances for the mother load lay somewhere in the 5-10% range, sometime in far future. Maybe 30-40% range of making 2-3 times our investment. And the rest lies in the change we lose or break even. Like it or not, this is the truth. There will be people that will try and come up with reasons why an article like this is BS, but it is probably the most honest article I have seen about this investment.
  7. WoW, this hits close to home. I went to Mission Viejo in kindergarten and 1st grade. I currently live less then a mile away from the school. It's just outrageous that anyone would be dumb enough to do this kind of thing. How does any program get "designed for children of color"? Found this update on local CBS news website. Mission Viejo Principal: ‘Tutoring Program Open To All Students’ After Segregation Allegations AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- An elementary school principal is clarifying admission to an after-school tutoring program after parents complained it was only open to “children of color.” Mission Viejo Elementary School Principal Andre Pearson has sent out a letter to parents detailing a clarification with the tutoring program after he initially told one parent in a voice mail, “It’s focused for and designed for children of color, but certainly, if we have space for other kids who have needs, we can definitely meet those needs.” The letter reads in part, “I want to express my regret for the communication sent last Friday describing the PASS tutoring program.” It also states, “… the tutoring program is open for all students, regardless of race/ethnicity, and on a first come, first served basis. As your child’s principal, I am equally concerned about the success of all students who attend our wonderfully diverse school.” The tutoring program is part of PASS which stands for Parents of Academically Successful Students. Each Cherry Creek School has a parent leadership team that runs the program. “It’s part of our excellence in equity initiative to close the achievement gap,” said Cherry Creek School District spokeswoman Tustin Amole. Amole said it was a misunderstanding. A sign up sheet sent home to parents indicated the tutoring program was only for students of color. Angela Green Garland, the parental coordinator for Mission Viejo Elementary, said that all students have always been involved in the tutoring program, despite what the sign up sheet indicated. The Cherry Creek School District’s website states that “PASS is a parent leadership group dedicated to closing the achievement gap for our African-American and Hispanic or Latino students.” Nicole Cox’s 10-year-old daughter attends Mission Viejo Elementary and needs tutoring. She is white and Cox felt she was being left out of the program based on her race. “I just want every single person to be treated equally,” said Cox. “We deeply regret that they got that communication,” said Amole. http://denver.cbslocal.com/2013/02/14/mission-viejo-tutoring-program-segregation-allegations/
  8. Sad that there are so many new people who do not have a clue of who Steve is. Back in the day after he was banned from here, started his own dinar site promising equality for all member but him becoming the dictator who all the sudden had "contacts" He accused me of stealing his work and presenting it as my own just because I shared it here. He was selling tickets to some big event after the RV that I don't even remember now. This guy is a joke, and does not know squat about the RV. His only goal is fulfilling his need to be known. If your listening to Steve, you should try a search of some of the bs from him here, if there is any still. Steve has become the new terryk....sad.
  9. I'm not trying to put down your info or be a downer, but anyone who knows me on this site knows that I am a realist. While what you are stating is possible, without having lower denominations available, it is not possible for the value to increase beyond what the current denominations allow for. I will use the same example as I have in the past If 1 dinar is equal to 1 usd and you go to buy a bottle of soda for 1 dinar how are you going to receive change if the lowest denomination available is 50 dinar? it is not possible to make change nor is it possible to pay for that soda with a 1 dinar denomination. HOWEVER....This can work is if the float is managed until such time that lower denominations are available or if they already do exist, but the value will remain low to accommodate for the high denominations. If the dinar is allowed to appreciate without lower denominations, the people of Iraq will not have any way to pay for simple everyday items. Kinda makes you wonder what ever happened to the debit card for the people of Iraq. It was not something they were very fond of happening, however, if they have become comfortable with the ration cards, they might be willing to use debit cards instead of cash for a short period of time. I find this to be a very unlikely scenario. Hope this is all true, I would love to finally get off this ride.
  10. I am doing better, I got the job I mentioned in the post and have been with them ever since. I just completed my 23rd pool season and things look good for the future. HOWEVER, I can't stress enough that I am still paying for the financial burden I placed on myself and my family because of this "dream" I hope all will take a close look at where they are today and if I help even one person realize they are in the same place and they can do something about it, then this post served its purpose. God Bless you all, and may all of your dreams come true RVD
  11. A guy walks into a bar with an alligator....wait, I got in trouble for telling this joke in the chat room once....nevermind
