Smee2, What a wonderful story about your uncle. There are so many uplifting stories about organizations helping animals. Smoke the donkey I respect your opinion Vern. We do need to help out the ones who need it most. I also do what I can to help out the elderly.

My son is serving in Afghanistan. While out on patrol he found a puppy in a pile of trash. He is trying to get her back to the US through a wonderful organization called Nowzad. Here is the link to help bring her home. NowzadSoji http:/soji.chipin.com/nowzadsoji It costs $3500 to bring an animal home to the US. The soldiers have to raise the first $1000 dollars and Nowzad pays for the rest.
